Nord is a custom motor yacht launched in 2020 by Lurssen Yachts, in Germany.
Lürssen has remained a family-run German shipyard since its inception in 1875 and is now in its fourth generation of private ownership. The company was founded by Friedrich Lürssen with a desire to create a leading shipyard in both quality and performance.
Nord measures 142.00 metres in length.
Nord has a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure.
It is not necessary to live, it is necessary to sail; This is the firm belief of Italian design company Nuvolari & Lenard. No stranger to high-profile yacht design, the studio has stamped its distinctive style on a number of the ocean’s biggest and brightest.
Nord also features naval architecture by Lurssen Yachts.

Die 2021 ausgelieferte Yacht Nord hat ein Abgasnachbehandlungssystem implementiert, das aus der Kombination eines Schalldämpfers mit einer selektiven katalytischen Reduktion im gleichen Gehäuse besteht, wodurch eine Reinigungsrate von bis zu 97 % des Stickstoffs und eine zusätzliche Reduzierung der akustischen Geräusche erreicht werden kann - eine Lürssen-Entwicklung.

Launched in 2019 and with delivery in 2020, luxury motor yacht NORD (ex OPUS, project REDWOOD) is a striking and imposing 142m (465.88ft) vessel, built by the leading German shipyard, Lurssen. The multi-award winning design studio Nuvolari Lenard created both her bespoke exterior and interior design, resulting in a truly magnificent mega yacht, with spectacular features and ultra-luxurious amenities on board. The yacht accommodates up to 36 guests over a massive 20-suite layout.

Previously known as PROJECT REDWOOD during her secretive construction period, 142m/465.9ft mega yacht NORD was built by prestigious German shipyard Lurssen with delivery in 2020. Created with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, M/Y NORD was also built to Lloyds Register PYC classification.
Lurssen was responsible for her naval architecture, while her interior and exterior styling comes from multi-award-winning designers Nuvolari Lenard.
Among her known amenities are a beach club, gym, spa, sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool lift (elevator), two helipads and an Owner's study.
Her accommodation boasts 20 en-suite staterooms to sleep 36 guests, while the crew will ensure that everyone on board receives the first-class service.
The exterior styling features a bulbous bow and an extensive foredeck which is balanced by the covered aft decks. Spanning six decks in total, two of the decks are within the hull and the remaining part of the superstructure.

About Nord. Nord is a 142 m / 465′11″ luxury motor yacht. She was built by Lurssen in 2020. With a beam of 19.5 m and a draft of 5.4 m, she has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
