Below Deck Sailing Yacht ‘s Alli Dore is spilling the beans about her relationship with Gary King ahead of the season two finale.

Alli recently confirmed that she and Gary are no longer together. She admits that it was a tough decision for her, but the relationship didn’t feel quite “right” to the third stew.

Of course, this news may not come as a huge surprise to many fans since it has been fairly obvious that the pair didn’t end up together. But Alli seemingly wanted to make it clear, so she discussed their “break up” on the Instagram Live “ Pita Party .”

“Obviously the break up with Gary was the ‘break up,’” she said. “I reference it as the breakup — but we weren’t actually together — but that’s what production kept referencing it as, so it kind of rolls of the tongue now. When we ended our situation, like, we really liked each other. That was something that was not easy for me. I felt sick doing it.”

Dani went on to explain that she had serious conversations with chief stew Daisy Kelliher regarding her relationship with Gary and she felt like she needed to end the romance as quickly as possible. Though she knew her bunkmate Syndey Zaruba had feelings for Gary, once she found out Sydney and Gary actually had sex, she thought it would be flat-out mean to continue her relationship with the first mate. Unfortunately, Gary didn’t take the news so well according to Alli.

“I felt like I had no choice. I couldn’t continue to act on something that I didn’t feel was right ,” she shared. “I didn’t want to be hurting another person, but I didn’t actually expect him to get as upset as he did.”

She added, “That conversation between him and I was cut a little bit short. There was a little bit more to it and he did get quite upset. And that was the hardest thing in the world was having to wake up the next day and work together. I mean, we’re not working in the same department, but I’m seeing him every time he walks past. Normally I was like, ‘this sucks.’ It was so awkward. It was not fun… definitely not fun.”

Despite the fact that Gary was hurt by the “break up,” the preview teases that he and Sydney might give their boatmance another chance as the clip shows Gary seemingly flirting with the deckhand right in front of Alli during a crew dinner.

“I heard from a third party that you have feelings for me,” Gary is seen telling Sydney. She replies, “I told you that I did.” Then, she admits that she’s being a little “vindictive” by flirting with him around Alli.

Fans will have to wait and see how it all turns out, but Andy Cohen recently teased the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season two reunion on Watch What Happens Live , calling it “gangbusters.” Therefore, it’s safe to say the love triangle will likely be discussed in greater detail at the upcoming sit-down.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season two airs Monday nights on Bravo at 9/8c.

Alli Dore and boyfriend Benny Thompson shared baby bump photos to announce her pregnancy.

All aboard!

“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” star Alli Dore is expecting her first child with boyfriend Benny Thompson.

“So excited for this new adventure with you and our little ocean baby @bennithompson xx,” the pregnant reality star captioned a collection of baby bump photos Monday, while he wrote on Instagram , “So proud of you, you’re going to be the most amazing mumma.”

In recent days, Dore called Thompson, a former pal of 12 years, “the love of my life” while talking to fans in an Instagram question-and-answer session ( via Bravo ).

“We’re currently moving into our new house together,” she said last week. “We’re both so excited! He’s got a heart of gold and treats me like a precious jewel[.] I’m really lucky.”

Some of Dore’s co-stars, including Dani Soares — who is a new mom to a baby girl — and chef Natasha De Bourg shared congratulatory messages on their friend’s pregnancy announcement.

“My heart is filled with joy knowing that you deserve nothing but the greatest of love,” De Bourg wrote. “That tiny little bud will have the most amazing mom on the world so full of life and love …”

Clearly excited for future playdates, Soares commented, “YYAAAYYY CONGRATULATIONS…Lilly can’t wait to meet her new friend ❤️❤️❤️ You 2 are gonna be amazing parents cause you are 2 amazing humans ❤️❤️❤️.”

Soares, 33, announced her pregnancy in April and gave birth to her daughter in May. While it is unclear who the little girl’s father is, “Below Deck” star Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux recently addressed speculation that he’s the dad.

“There’s a lot of gossip about my social media silence so I think it’s time to clear the air,” the deckhand wrote via Instagram . “While others are off chasing their 15 minutes of fame, I am working on a yacht in Central America. I am heartbroken to have to hear about the baby’s birth on social media and read headlines, like, ‘Dani Soares Says Her Baby’s Father Doesn’t Want Anything to Do With It.’ All I can say is if it’s mine, I want to be involved 100%.”

He continued, “As someone who grew up with parents who weren’t together, I wouldn’t wish that on any child. Not looking for a pity party. Just want everyone to know how strongly I feel about this, especially the haters who are so sure I am neglecting my responsibility. No one wants to know more than me if this is my baby girl!”

In response to his post, Dore stuck up for her pal and commented, “No one is stopping you from getting a paternity test.”

'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' 's Gary King Says Alli Dore 'Didn't Tell' Him About Her Pregnancy

Alli Dore announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Monday

Writer-Reporter, PEOPLE

Alli Dore is sharing her good news.

In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at part 2 of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht reunion, Dore tells her costars that she's expecting her first child with boyfriend Benny Thompson.

"We are having a baby," she says to cheers and applause. "I'm 20 weeks."

"It's very exciting," she adds. "It's scary but exciting."

But there's one person who is noticeably surprised by the news: her ex Gary King. The first mate says he was not given a heads up about Dore's pregnancy announcement.

"She didn't tell me that at all," he says. "I'm happy for her. She told me when I spoke to her that her boyfriend treats her well and treats her like a princess. At the end of the day, as long as Alli's happy, I'm happy."

"Congratulations Alli, I wish you many happy years together," he adds. "I'm sure your kids will be f----- amazing. They've got a mother like you, of course, they will."

"Thank you," Dore says in response.

Dore and King were linked during their time starring on Below Deck . The two found themselves in a complicated love triangle after King hooked up with deckhand Sydney Zaruba before pursuing Dore.

Though Dore and King ultimately survived the drama as a couple, the two eventually called it quits after getting off the boat.

Dore announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Monday.

Her news comes just weeks after her costar and fellow stewardess Dani Soares welcomed her first child, a baby girl.

Are Gary King and Alli Dore Still Together?

Shraman Mitra of Are Gary King and Alli Dore Still Together?

Bravo’s ‘ Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’ follows the staff of a 177′ sailing yacht as cameras capture every instance of their personal and work lives. People and their lives make for compelling reality TV, and ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ does not fall behind with its bountiful offering of drama, fights, and romance between the crew members. The added pressure of living up to their employers’ expectations while navigating everyday life adds to the thrill of the show.

Gary King and Alli Dore were the talk of season 2 as their relationship flourished during their time on the yacht. Although Gary hooked up with Sydney Zaruba previously, he soon became exclusive to Alli when the couple began dating. Season 2 saw the couple weather through numerous ups and downs, which often threatened their relationship. With cameras now turned away from their lives, fans want to know if Alli and Gary are still together. Well, we come bearing answers!

Gary and Alli’s Below Deck Sailing Yacht Journey

Alli Dore was not the first woman that Gary was interested in. Initially, he struck up a friendship with Sydney and got quite close to her. The two appeared to be comfortable and even got intimate on one occasion. However, soon after, Gary called it a one-time affair and refused to acknowledge further feelings towards Sydney. Instead, the First Mate began to pursue Alli Dore, eventually befriending her before going on to date her.

Although Gary often mentioned how he was not looking for something long-term, he still fell for Alli, and the two got together. However, the happiness was short-lived as Sydney soon revealed that she and Gary had hooked up before he dated Alli. Understandably, this revelation did not sit well with Alli, who decided to end the romance between Gary and herself right there.

Even though the couple made up later, their relationship never seemed steady, especially when Gary became flirty with Sydney again and Alli spotted them in a hot tub together. Gary’s behavior led to some of the biggest altercations and fights of the season, and the future looked bleak for the couple. Moreover, the added yet unsubstantiated allegation that Gary already had a girlfriend back home when he slept with Sydney also caused problems for the couple.

Are Gary and Alli Still Together?

No. Gary King and Alli Dore are not together anymore. Although the couple tried to make their relationship work, it just wasn’t meant to be, and the two went their separate ways. Since then, Alli has maintained that what she had with Gary was not a relationship. On an IGTV chat titled ‘Pity Party’ with Daisy Kelliher, Dani Soares, and Paget Berry, Alli said , “But we (Alli and Gary) weren’t actually together ever. That’s what production kept referencing at us, so it rolls off the tongue now.”

Alli further added, “When we ended our situation, we really liked each other. That was not something that was not easy for me. If felt sick doing it.” However, she did mention that Gary was quite hurt after their apparent breakup. Moreover, Alli and Dani Soares also got intimate after Alli grew distant from Gary. At present, it seems like Gary is single as there are no reports linking him to a special someone. Moreover, he prefers to keep his private life under wraps, and his social media shows that he is spending some quality time with his family.

On the other hand, Alli is now in a wonderful relationship with Benny Thompson. Alli and Benny were friends for several years before they decided to get together. Alli also revealed that the two were planning to move in together. Furthermore, in June 2021, Ali shared the fantastic news of her pregnancy with her followers. The ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ star posted an adorable picture of her and Benny as she revealed that she was pregnant.

When it comes to Gary, she mentioned that she was on amicable terms with him but said , “We’re not friends, but we don’t hate each other. A lot of people ask me that actually. They ask me if we speak. We don’t speak, but we don’t hate each other.” So as things stand now, it seems like the chapter of Gary and Alli is closed permanently.

Hook, line, and sinker: last night on Watch What Happens Live , Alli Dore confirmed hooking up with Dani Soars on this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . On Episode 10 of this season, which debuted to Bravo on May 3, Alli and Dani are caught making out and sneaking into the master cabin of the yacht together. Their motives may have been rooted in revenge, though, as Dore was in the middle of a love triangle with first officer Gary King and deckhand Sydney Zaruba, and Soars was looking to make deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux jealous.

Nevertheless, the events happened behind closed doors, and  Below Deck Sailing Yacht Fans  still want to know the truth. A guest on Andy Cohen’s Bravo talk show didn’t hesitate to prod Dore when she visited last night (May 10). Looking for answers regarding Dore and Soares’s relationship, she went right in for the kill.

“Alli, what exactly happened between you and Dani in the master suite?” the guest asked . “Were you just trying to get Gary jealous? Or did the two of you actually hook up?”

Cohen welcomed the inquiry, exclaiming that it was a “good question.” After a laugh, Dore replied.

“Look, I was just going with the flow,” the third stew said. “I’m a pretty open person and I enjoy life experiences. When Dani took my hand, she’s sexy, so why am I not going to go down to the master cabin with her?”

So, in simple terms? “Yes, we hooked up,” Dore confirmed. “Whatever you define as a hook-up.”

After viewers witnessed their hook-up, both Dore and Soars received hate messages in their social media DMs regarding the incident. Last week on  Watch What Happens Live , the pair discussed the double standard regarding their boatmance.

“When Sydney and Gary hooked up, and [Dani] and J.L [Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux] hooked up, it wasn’t such a topic,” Dore said. “But then when you and I hooked up, that clip has been shown many times. I have received some seriously brutal DMs. We both, because of two girls. Like really horrible things.”

When Below Deck Sailing Yacht' s Alli Dore appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 10, Andy was quick to comment on her chic backdrop. Stationed at a friend's house in Melbourne, Australia, the stew was in a glamorous, marble-clad room. "Wow, that's a gorgeous kitchen, Alli!" Andy said. And the hospitality pro had a dazzling outfit to match the vibe.

For her Clubhouse appearance, Alli wore a bejeweled dress by Australian designer Alin Le' Kal. With a high neck and long sleeves, the glittering dress had stripes of beads and crystals. The stewardess pulled her sun-kissed hair back with golden bobby pinks, and she had a bronzed beauty look replete with long, inky black lashes, nude lipstick, and a copper shadow.

Below Deck Loses 2 Crewmembers After a Firing and a Dramatic Season 11 Departure

Below deck 's capt. kerry titheradge fired the first season 11 yachtie during the bravo series' march 18 episode, but that wasn't the only shocking departure. find out who else left the yacht..

The  St. David  is down not one, but two crewmembers.

During Below Deck 's March 18 episode, Captain Kerry Titheradge  fired the first season 11 yachtie when he let Bosun Jared Woodin go for unprofessional behavior, the last straw being an inebriated Jared barging into Stew Barbie Pascual 's cabin the night prior and yelling at Deckhand Kyle Stillie for leaving a mess of loose tobacco on the deck after a night of partying.

"This is the second time you've gone on the piss and you've had bad behavior," Kerry told his subordinate. "You're in a leadership role. You can't be acting like that. You gotta be above the fray. The way that you're treating these guy is not acceptable."

But it wasn't just the alcohol that was the problem, as Kerry noted Jared's mental state wasn't where it needed to be. "You've got s--t going on, man," he shared. "You're your own worst enemy right now. You need to depart the vessel."

However, Jared agreed his head wasn't in the right place and accepted his termination graciously.

"This ain't the right place for me at the right time," Jared replied, to which Kerry responded, "I don't blame you for that. Take this time and work on yourself. Me keeping you here is a disservice to you."

Before departing the super-yacht, Jared reflected in a confessional, "I thought I was in a good headspace coming into this. I'm really not. And as much as I'd like to be I'm just lying to myself."

But Jared wasn't the only teammate to set sail during the latest episode. Stew Cat Baugh willingly left the ship after admittedly struggling with the job all season long.

"I really wanna push through for you guys," Cat, in tears, told Chief Stew Fraser Olender after receiving a very distressing call from a friend back home in America. "I'm just losing my mind right now."

And Fraser totally understood his crewmember's needs.

Missing college student riley strain's debit card found near river, willy wonka-inspired organizer says his “life is ruined” after event, jimmie allen welcomed twins with another woman amid divorce.

"If you're in a very unhappy place," he told her, "I'd rather you put your health and your mental health before that and we get you the help you need as soon as we can."

In a confessional, Fraser elaborated, "I don't know what is going on, but you can look into someone's eyes sometimes and see that there is no more that they can give. They are going through enough to be incapable and I need to do what's right for her. "

See how the crew copes with the unexpected departures when Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. And keep reading to look back at the most shocking Below Deck firings ever.

If there's one thing to learn from Camille Lamb 's Below Deck firing, it's to not slack off on the job. That's exactly why the season 10 stew was let go by substitute Captain Sandy Yawn , as Chief Stew Fraser Olender continued to criticize Camille's behavior on board.

From being caught drinking while preparing for a new charter to partying at late hours and more, Fraser informed Captain Sandy that he had reached his "last straw."

"She's the common denominator in all of this," said Captain Sandy. "Great girl, great personality, but at the same time, we have to do what's best for the boat."

Below Deck Adventure 's Kyle Dickard was let go just three episodes into the reality franchise's latest series—which premiered in November 2022. After picking fights with his fellow deckhand Nathan Morley —as well as kissing crew mates in front of guests—Kyle was offered by Captain Kerry Titheradge the opportunity to resign so that his firing would not end up on his personal record.

Kyle took the Captain up on his offer and left the boat after just one charter.

Captain Sandy let bosun Raygan Tyler go during season seven of Below Deck Mediterranean ,  not only for causing the boat to  take a small hit while docking, but also for not stepping up to the plate as a leader.

But Captain Sandy didn't want her firing to discourage the bosun, as she told Raygan, "If I had the time and I wasn't running a boat this size, I would train you. I would teach you."

In addition to onboard romances and failing to follow directions , one of the biggest reasons behind stew Elizabeth Frankini 's Below Deck firing was her infamous laundry room accident , during which made a toxic mess when combining bleach and laundry soap.

"Unfortunately, I didn't know that was so toxic and I feel so bad about it," she told E! News of the incident in December 2020 . "You know, I do feel really bad, especially 'cause Francesca [ Rubi ] did say, 'Take it outside.'"

The bosun and stew were both fired by Captain Jason Chambers for inappropriate behavior after a night of partying with their fellow yachties.

Luke Jones was let go after getting into Stew Margot Sisson 's bed naked while she was drunk and unconscious. Laura Bileskaine also made unwanted advances on Deckhand Adam Kodra despite him telling her he was not interested in hooking up.

Jason made it known that consent was a must, and sent both crewmembers packing.

Tensions between stew Lexi Wilson and Chef Mathew Shea came to a head during an explosive dinner fight on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean , during which Lexi told Matt that his parents "should've aborted you." That was the last straw for Captain Sandy, who fired her not long after the incident.

Deckhand Tom Pearson said "bon voyage" to Below Deck Sailing Yacht after getting let go by Captain Glenn Shephard . Tom hit his last strike with the Captain after failing to report that the boat's anchor was dragging during heavy winds one night, causing a potential safety risk for everyone on board.

"It had to be done. It was such a grievous thing that he dropped the ball there, he had to go, and we had to just be man down and live with it, you know?" Captain Glenn said of the decision  on Watch What Happens Live. "So, obviously, you don't want to do that, but yeah, it had to happen."

Some people are picky eaters, but Below Deck Down Under' s Ryan McKeown was quite the picky chef, as he would judge guests'  food requests  and fail to take  criticism from Captain Jason Chambers , as well.

Perhaps Ryan's Below Deck exit is one of the franchise's most memorable, as he mooned Jason and viewers on his way off the boat.

Below Deck Down Under stew Magda Ziomek 's firing was another case of slacking on the job. After constantly being on her phone texting or video chatting with her boyfriend, Chief Stew Aesha Scott decided to replace Magda before the end of the charter season.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Peter Hunziker was fired from the series in June 2020 after he shared an offensive post on social media.

"Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist post," Bravo wrote in a statement at the time. "Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearance for subsequent episodes."

Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was let go by Captain Sandy on Below Deck Mediterranean after boson Malia White discovered her co-star possessed undeclared Valium and a vape pen, the former of which Hannah claimed was for her anxiety.

"If I could do it all over again, I would've just declared them as soon as I came on board," Hannah stated in an August 2020 interview with E! News. "It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn't trying to hide anything.

Below Deck Mediterranean 's Delaney Evans left just as quickly as she arrived. After initially being brought on during season six to help out Chief Stew Katie Flood , Katie determined that Delaney was doing more harm than good, choosing to let her go after just one charter.

"I think she was overwhelmed with the situation, and I think that, you know, in her mind, the best solution to the situation was just to go back to what they had before," Delaney told Bravo Insider of Katie's decision. "I think she was just overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the feedback she was getting."

Deckhand Shane Coopersmith was a bit in over his head on season eight of Below Deck , as he was let go for failing to know basic skills, reporting late for duty and taking naps on the job.

Chaos in the kitchen led to Captain Lee Rosbach letting Chef Leon Walker go on season three of Below Deck . After an oven fire broke out , Lee placed the blame on Chief Stew Kate Chastain but was ultimately the one sent home.

Like several of the franchise's stars, Below Deck 's Chris Brown  was fired  during season five for failing to fully perform his duties. After being let go by Captain Lee, Chris shared some parting words as he left the boat, stating , "Who gives a s--t?"

Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was fired by Captain Sandy on season four of Below Deck Mediterranean after failing to use her cooking skills to produce top-quality food for guests—including some not-so-nice nachos .

"Of course it makes me feel awful," Mila said of her departure . "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."

Sometimes people just don't work well together. That's exactly why Captain Lee fired Chandler Brooks during season six of Below Deck , telling the boson, "I don't think it's a good fit."

‘Below Deck’ Sails Into a New Era

With a different captain at the helm and new production elements, the reality show about charter yachts is switching up its style.

A man in a crew member suit stands behind a bar and tends to flowers in a vase.

By Shivani Gonzalez

Starting a new season of “ Below Deck ” can be similar to returning to summer camp as a kid — you know it’s going to be fun and that you’ll be in the same environment, but some of the people will be different and you’re not quite sure what the vibes will be.

This time around, in particular, feels that way because for the first time in the show’s 11-season run, Captain Lee Rosbach is no longer at the helm. It’s a pivotal moment for a franchise that has become one of the most popular entities in the sprawling universe of reality TV since premiering on Bravo in 2013 . The show’s appeal was built on endless romances between various crew members (“boatmances,” as they came to be known), horrible charter guests and some sort of passive-aggressive fight about how many shackles of the anchor chain should be in the water. And there was always Rosbach presiding over the drama as he trudged around the boat, reeling off one liners like “I’m madder than a pissed-on chicken” and “we screwed the pooch so many times we should have a litter of puppies running around.”

At the center of the show now is Kerry Titheradge (the stern yet goofy captain of “Below Deck Adventure” fame), who is managing the Motor Yacht Saint David with the cheeky chief stew Fraser Olender by his side.

With that change in captain, the energy on the boat — both onscreen and off — is different, according to Olender.

“Lee has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” Olender said in an interview. “With Kerry, he taught me a lot and sort of forced to me confront issues directly with my team, work them out, as opposed to making executive decisions too soon.”

This shift in management style changes the central conflict — whereas the drama once focused on the captain swiftly kicking out any unpleasant crew member (as we might have seen with Rosbach), the drama now focuses on the whole crew trying to get along (since Titheradge gives people those second chances).

Additionally, Olender noted that the captain’s relationship with the crew can also affect the drama on board.

“Captains absolutely do get involved, whether they know it or not,” Olender said, adding that for the crew, everything is about “trying to impress your captain.”

This phenomenon plays out early in the new season when the lead deckhand, Ben Willoughby, called out a fellow crew member over the radios about not wearing a life vest — something he easily could have done in private. The drama that followed became an interpersonal conflict between the two of them, both with the ultimate goal of impressing Titheradge. (Of course, the two deckhands had kissed on the previous crew night out, which is more in line with the “Below Deck” drama viewers are used to.)

For “Below Deck” showrunners, the changeovers in the cast allowed them to rethink what the show would look like.

From the season premiere, it was immediately apparent that Rosbach’s absence wasn’t the only change this season: The filming is sleeker, the daily, multicourse meals prepared by the chef are given their own glamour shots and the cameras sometimes cut to the perspectives of yachties running around on deck and through the galley.

“Our showrunner, Lauren Simms, is an avid consumer of all different kinds of media,” Noah Samton, a senior vice president of unscripted current production for NBCUniversal, said in an interview. “She pitches us different ideas on how to stylistically evoke different feelings and change the mood a little bit of ‘Below Deck’ without removing what really works.”

Moving through the rest of the season, and potentially through seasons to come, Olender is aiming to bring a cutthroat management style while also bringing affection for his stews, all with his signature British humor.

On Bravo’s side, there are changes in the works for the other “Below Deck” spinoffs — including “Sailing Yacht,” “Mediterranean” and “Down Under” — which collectively, have 26 seasons. Specifically, Samton said that “Down Under” is currently filming and that even though fans should be ready to see new things, the show will stay true to its original concept.

“These are real yachties doing a real job so you have to stay within those confines because the audience isn’t going to want anything that is too produced or fake,” Samton said. “So we have to find ways to reinvent while staying true to the original concept of the show.”

And as Olender said: “I’m sure that every year if I were to work with this franchise again, that I’ll be thrown a collection of total chaotic and disastrous stews — that’s what makes it watchable.”

An earlier version of this article misquoted Fraser Olender, the chief stew of “Below Deck.” He said, “I also feel like Kerry this season. ... Lee has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him,” not “I feel like Kerry this season, as opposed to Lee, has a no B.S. attitude, which I love with him.”

This New Yacht Is Sailing to Gorgeous, Lesser-known Ports in the Caribbean Sea — and I Was on Board With 'Below Deck's' Chef Ben

Emerald Cruises' new Emerald Sakara ship brings guests to smaller ports in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, with an onboard marina and the occasional Bravo-lebrity.

Paul Brady is the news director at Travel + Leisure and the brand's expert on cruise travel. He has been covering the travel industry for more than 15 years for outlets including Condé Nast Traveler , Skift , and The Huffington Post .

With a couple dozen guests looking on, chef Ben Robinson was showing how to slice and dice a fresh red snapper. “You kind of feel him — but you don’t fondle him,” said Robinson, the fan favorite from the Bravo reality show Below Deck, who’s always ready with a quip. As he pulled a perfect filet off the bone, he explained how to salt the fish and that there’s no more important relationship than the one you have with your fishmonger. “My advice is to always be friendly,” he noted. “I like to support my mom-and-pop [businesses]. If you become familiar with them, they’ll say, ‘Hey, I got this in this morning.’”

The cooking demo, which also featured a ceviche how-to and tips on knife sharpening, was one of many “Chef Ben” moments on my trip aboard Emerald Sakara . It’s the newest 100-passenger vessel from Emerald Cruises, which launched in the fall of 2023, a sibling vessel to the Emerald Azzurra .

During an eight-day voyage in March from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, the reality personality was definitely one of the star attractions. Robinson spent several evenings in the galley, creating special dishes such as a panko-crusted veal striploin stuffed with pesto.

He also hosted a well-attended Q&A about his life in the kitchen — and spent plenty of time connecting with fans, many of whom booked the trip specifically to chop it up with Below Deck alum.

“We definitely booked because of Ben,” said Shannon Welnel , a Montana-based travel advisor who had lots of praise for his cuisine — and the yacht-like atmosphere on board the 100-passenger ship. Other guests I spoke with admitted they hadn’t seen much Below Deck, but were intrigued by the chance to chill with a Bravo-lebrity.

Emerald Sakara

  • With a max of just 100 passengers, Emerald Sakara feels at times like a private yacht, with no lines and no crowds, and outstanding service from a highly experienced crew.
  • Minimalist rooms recall the stripped down aesthetic of Miami Beach or Mykonos, Greece, with pops of color from Missoni Home accents and a sleek-yet-functional bathroom with plenty of storage space.
  • While this small ship has but one restaurant and one poolside cafe, there’s plenty of choice when it comes to meals, whether you’re hitting the breakfast or lunch buffet or choosing from the dinner menu.
  • The onboard marina, which is open in favorable weather conditions, offers watersports and swimming off the stern of the ship.
  • Easy to understand and mostly inclusive pricing covers meals, beverages at mealtime, many tours, and surprisingly speedy Wi-Fi.

The intimate-ship vibe was also one reason the chef wanted to hop aboard. “This definitely has more of a yacht vibe than any other [ship] I've been on,” Robinson told me one afternoon. “A hundred passengers is not a lot,” he said. “I've been on boats with 2,500 passengers, and you really do feel like you're anonymous. But here, the service is great, and you really are treated as an individual and someone important. And you kind of lose that on the big boats.”

While Robinson doesn’t have immediate plans to join another Emerald cruise, he told me that there were plenty of parallels between his life on megayachts and what the Sakara offers its guests. “It’s been incredible,” he said.

I had to agree. The Sakara certainly has much to offer, both in spite of its smaller size and because of it. While it’s available to book by the cabin, like any cruise ship, it still manages to feel at times like a private yacht, particularly when it sails to less-commonly visited ports such as Culebra, on Puerto Rico, or St. Bart’s. In the latter, we dropped anchor near Eric Schmidt’s yacht, Whisper , and had the whole day to explore the glitzy island and its capital, Gustavia. (After a drive around in the morning, I managed to catch the beautiful sunset from the lovely little Shell Beach, right in town.)

“The benefit of being on a small cruise ship like this one is that we can enter small ports and areas where others can’t,” said Robert Kuznin, the captain of Sakara , who previously worked with several cruise lines, including Paul Gauguin, Seabourn, and Virgin Voyages. “For example, when we dropped anchor in Esperanza Bay,” he explained about our stop at the island of Vieques, “there were only two meters under the keel — and that was the shallowest I’ve ever been!”

Courtesy of Emerald Cruises

The ability to go places that larger ships can’t was also on display one morning on St. Kitts, one of the final stops of my trip. It was still early in the morning, but already four mega-ships were docked in Basseterre, the island’s capital. Instead of tying up next to them on the busy cruise pier, we dropped anchor just off the beach in South Friar’s Bay, a long sweep of sand in the island’s southern reaches. There were no crowds to contend with, no paperwork hassles, no touts offering dodgy cab rides. A five-minute tender ride to the beach was all it took to meet our local guide. Time from leaving the breakfast buffet to our first stop? About 25 minutes. Even the most efficient mega-ship would struggle to make that happen — and they can’t drop anchor right off the one of the best beaches on the island.

Other moments aboard Sakara felt like something out of Below Deck . One afternoon, I made my way to the yacht’s marina, a platform at the stern stocked with lounge chairs, refreshments, and water toys such as a floating trampoline and inflatable sea kayaks. I jumped off the stern into the Caribbean and then tried out the ship’s Seabob, a floating gadget that’s like a cross between a Jet Ski and an electric scooter.

As I continued my joy ride, I could see another vessel anchored just north of us. Turns out, it was David Geffen’s private yacht , Rising Sun . Of course, we were there first.

Here’s a closer look at all the amenities of the Emerald Sakara , which sails seasonally in coastal waters in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean Sea.

Welcome to your starship: the stripped down, white-and-gray cabins on Sakara feel sci-fi chic, particularly when the accent lighting is switched on. They’re also, thankfully, spacious and super functional, with ample storage space (including a safe), a small minibar, a coffee station, and a clever headboard built-in that’s a great spot for your charging devices and water bottle. Most of the 50 rooms and suites have verandas; ocean-view staterooms are the exception. Bathrooms are just big enough, with plenty of storage, and are stocked with Espa products and a hair dryer. My cabin, 421, was a 300-square-foot balcony suite toward the aft of the ship on deck four: I never once heard noise from the surrounding cabins or in the hallway, though I did occasionally notice sounds and vibrations from the vessel, something that is common on even the largest of ships. A note on power plugs: my stateroom had U.S.-style outlets throughout as well as USB-A charging ports on either side of the bed, a nice touch.

Because Sakara is smaller than most cruise ships, it can’t compete on sheer volume of bars and restaurants. Still, the food on board is solid. La Cucina is the only true dining room, with both indoor and outdoor seating; it has somewhat limited hours compared to the round-the-clock dining options on bigger vessels. That being said, I certainly didn’t go hungry: a breakfast buffet is complemented by traditional à la minute options such as omelets and pancakes; lunch is also buffet style with a carving station. Dinner is more restaurant style, with options from an ever-changing daily menu plus always available classics such as Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, grilled salmon, and spaghetti bolognese on offer. (Many dietary restrictions and preferences can be accommodated.)

On my voyage, chef Robinson put together several special plates, including what might’ve been the best dish of the week: a sesame-crusted seared yellowfin tuna with celeriac puree. The Below Deck star also put together a panko veal striploin roulade one night and, another evening, offered a citrus-cured hamachi with, in a touch of molecular gastronomy, “mango spheres.” Elsewhere on board, a poolside cafe, Aqua Café, has quick bites like burgers and flatbreads, as well as sweets and coffee pulled from a Cimbali espresso machine. The cocktails served in the Amici Lounge and the Sky Bar were consistently excellent, mixed by a talented team of pros who’ve previously worked on Seabourn ships and in some of Dubai’s top hotels. One weaker spot was the selection of wine on board: pours at mealtimes are included, but they didn’t rock my boat. A short list of “chairman’s wines,” available at extra cost, included a couple by-the-bottle finds such as 2013 vintage Cristal ($650) and some mid-tier Bordeaux and Burgundy options.

Paul Brady/Travel + Leisure

Though small, this ship isn’t an expedition yacht. Rather, it’s specifically designed for warm-weather coastal cruising, meaning it spends the lion’s share of its time in places such as the Caribbean and, in the Northern Hemisphere’s summer months, the Mediterranean. My trip aboard was spent entirely in the Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, where passages between ports were short and the seas were often calm. (We did occasionally encounter some swells of up to two meters, or 6.6 feet. I saw many guests wearing medicated patches to prevent motion sickness throughout the trip.) Sakara typically spends a season of several months in a given region, with a variety of cruise lengths offered, ranging from six to 24 days. In 2024, the ship will spend April through November in the Mediterranean. Sakara will return to the Caribbean at the end of the year, through April 2025.

Tours off the ship were a strong suit for Emerald, at least on my voyage. Most stops offered a variety of activities, ranging from a simple transfer to a nearby beach to a full-on, multi-hour tour. Usually, I found myself ashore with a very small group of folks — fewer than a dozen — and all the guides Emerald arranged were true pros. Passengers raved about a kayak paddle through the bioluminescent bay on Vieques, something I sadly didn’t try myself. I did, however, enjoy a short guided hike on the island of St. John, to the pristine beach along Salomon Bay, which was all but deserted. The organization of excursions felt flawless to me, thanks no doubt to the crew and shore excursion manager, Pilar Atencio. Worth a mention, too, were Atencio’s detailed briefings on what to expect each day. While these sorts of “port talks'' are common on ships of all sizes, they felt particularly useful on Sakara because of how intimate our groups were; many passengers made a point of attending the pre-dinner talks every night, for info on what to expect about our anchorage, historical background on each island, and detailed info about what each tour offering would entail.

Call it small but mighty: Sakara has all the essentials, which is a bit of feat for a ship this size. A cozy spa has wellness and beauty treatments, as well as a small hairstyling and facial studio; morning yoga and stretching are available on deck. The fitness center, with a few cardio machines, a Peloton bike, and a variety of weights and other gear gets the job done. The smallish pool and a top-deck whirlpool were lovely — though I spent most of my time in the ocean: the Sakara ’s marina deck is a key feature, and it was open several afternoons during my trip. It’s like the greatest pool party you’ve ever been to, complete with piña coladas, sea kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a trampoline, right off the stern of the ship. It is, truly, as much fun as it sounds like, though it is subject to the whims of weather and ocean currents. Also available in some destinations are e-bikes from Gocycle, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis; during my trip, several guests gave them a spin on the island of Vieques. Sakara also carries a ton of snorkeling gear and beach towels, which passengers can borrow whenever they like. In terms of performances, this isn’t the vessel for Broadway-style shows, but guitarist Jamie Ferguson and voyage director Nathalie Millet added plenty of live music to the trip.

The youngest passengers I spoke with on my cruise were in their 20s — and they were traveling with their parents. Sakara is perhaps the perfect ship for families traveling with adult children, since it offers such a diverse array of activities to suit different tastes and activity levels, while visiting intriguing destinations. The ship is also intimate enough that everybody can gather easily for meals — or a swim off the stern — without fighting the crowds common on larger vessels. On the other hand, Sakara is probably not the best choice for families with younger children: there’s no kid-specific programming, and you’re likely to be the only ones aboard with little ones. “Emerald Cruises yachts are recommended for people aged 12 and up, and they must be accompanied by and share a cabin with an adult aged 18 or [older],” a spokesperson shared with T+L.

Sakara is probably best described as somewhat accessible: the ship has elevators to all decks and the crew was, on my trip, very accommodating to those with mobility challenges. There are handrails throughout, and bathrooms feature shower grab bars. That being said, several areas of the ship — the outdoor dining terrace, for example — require navigating at least one step even once you’ve reached the deck in question by elevator. “Due to the nature and size of the ships, wheelchairs and scooters are not allowed to be used on board,” a spokesperson told T+L. When the ship is at anchor, it’s only possible to go ashore by tender or Zodiac, both of which could be challenging for those with limited mobility. As Emerald’s FAQ explains: “Guests with limited mobility will require help from a companion, since the crew is limited.” Also of note: many announcements are made only by loudspeaker with no hearing-impaired alternative.

Seven-night sailings on Emerald Sakara start from $2,775 per person, and you can book at emeraldcruises.com .

Daisy Kelliher dishes Below Deck Sailing Yacht success, reveals if she still stalks to Gary King after scandal

Daisy Kelliher on BDS Season 4

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher has dished about her success on the hit show ahead of Season 5.

Daisy has appeared on three seasons of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and helped turn the show around after a lackluster first season.

Despite a serious rift in the dream team trio of Colin, Daisy, and Gary following Season 4, fans still can’t get enough of them.

Ahead of her fourth stint on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy has opened up about life following her success and how she ended up on the show.

Daisy lost her job during the COVID-19 pandemic and at the urging of friends, she applied to be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Speaking with The Irish Independent, Daisy admitted that a couple of weeks after applying, she was filming Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 in Croatia.

Although it may seem like Daisy’s life has changed drastically since she became a staple on the sailing franchise, she insists that’s not the case.

“My life hasn’t changed dramatically, but there have been small, subtle changes – it’s been fun,” she expressed to the outlet.

As Monsters and Critics previously reported, one big change for Daisy is her new friendship with Hollywood A-list star Christina Applegate.

Daisy also looked back on her life since her Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut, admitting she didn’t think she would get the gig, but is beyond happy she did.

“The last three years have been kind of a whirlwind, I really can’t complain. I’m getting to do all my yachting work and slowly getting to do other things as well,” Daisy stated.

With her fourth season hitting Bravo airwaves this year, one can’t help but wonder how much longer Daisy will still be on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

“I’m just being a ‘yes person’ at the moment. The last few years have changed very quickly, so my attitude right now is just saying yes and seeing where things take me,” Daisy spilled. “I’ve done everything from podcasts to the show, to still doing both, so every day is very different. I don’t know what the future holds right now.”

Along with opening up about her success on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Daisy also shared if she still speaks to Gary following sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Daisy Kelliher reveals if she still talks to Gary King

Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member. However, even before that, Daisy and Gary were at odds over things that went down during Season 4, especially her hooking up with Colin.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have wondered where Daisy and Gary stand today following the scandal and their fallout. After all, Gary was removed from BravoCon after the allegations against him came to light, so no resolution to his and Daisy’s friendship was revealed there.

During an Instagram Stories Q&A session, Daisy asked who she talks to from the show. Dani Soares and Gary were two names Daisy brought up immediately.

Although she did mention she keeps in touch with others like Alli Dore, Daisy also declared that they all simply live different lives. Daisy confirmed that no other cast members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht live in London, where she resides.

Daisy frequently hangs with Below Deck stars Fraser Olender and Hayley De Sola Pinto. She also spends time with Below Deck Med alum Courtney Veale since they live in London.

The wait to see Daisy Kelliher back on Below Deck Sailing Yacht won’t be much longer. Captain Glenn hinted at when the Parsifal III crew will be back, and you can read what he had to say here.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is currently on hiatus on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.

Captain Kerry dishes on 2 dramatic Below Deck exits: 'Things were getting pretty hostile'

"That's probably the fastest departure in 'Below Deck' history."

Warning: This article contains spoilers for  Below Deck , season 11, episode 7, “Cat's Out of the Bag.”

Below Deck 's Captain Kerry Titheradge called Monday night’s episode a “corker” during a recent Instagram Live — and he wasn’t kidding.

During a single charter, two crew members left St. David; bosun Jared Woodin was fired and stew Cat Baugh left for personal reasons.

Tonight's episode, aptly named "Cat's Out of the Bag," saw Captain Kerry lowering the boom on Jared following a drunken altercation with deckhand Kyle Stillie. But the heated discussion in the crew mess wasn't the only reason Jared was let go. During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Captain Kerry shed more light on why he dismissed the bosun.

Though he anticipated firing Jared, he wasn't prepared for what he calls "the fastest departure in Below Deck history" when Cat needed to leave the boat immediately.

Below, Captain Kerry shares how his mental health journey and being on Below Deck Adventure changed who he is today and greatly impacted how he handled the two crew departures.

Fred Jagueneau/Bravo

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: I feel like there's been kind of a buildup this season to what happened on this episode. We've seen Jared not know his distances and get very emotional, and then poor Cat's been having a hard time as well. How soon into the season did you know they might be struggling?

CAPTAIN KERRY TITHERADGE: Off the bat, like day one. The thing is, you can know it, but also you try to change the direction. There were other crew [members] I was concerned about too — and that's going to come out in future episodes, where we were able to work with them, where they were getting to a point of breaking as well. So I don't know. I think when you've gone through something pretty emotional, it makes you more aware of where people are at.

You shared your story with Jared and you really connected with him, so I want to talk about him first because he seemed to unravel quite quickly from that one phone call that he couldn't get through, and then it came to a head in the crew mess after Kyle spilled tobacco near the hot tub and Jared let him have it. We've seen crew members go crazy on the boat and party and scream and yell. How bad was the fight between Jared and Kyle that it woke you up?

I mean, it woke me up. Things were getting pretty hostile. Again, this happened a while ago, so there's only so much we can actually show [on air], but I was aware of where he was at. I put pressure on Jared and I do it with all my guys... it's a yacht. I know there's a TV show behind it, but it's a yacht and I have standards, and my standards are that I'm not waking up to a mess in the hot tub. And I'm nice enough to not go up there straight away and check. I've seen other episodes of Jared running around in the morning making sure [everything is cleaned up]. So I mean, that's pressure I've put on him, but that's the pressure I'd put on anybody to make sure it's right.

So things are getting wound up. And really, Kyle has tobacco up there, I mean, if I would've seen it up there, [Kyle] probably would've gone home. Because you don't do loose tobacco in a hot tub. That stuff gets on a teak, it gets on the paintwork. It'll stain. So [Jared] had a good reason to be doing what he was doing, but he wasn't in the right state to be dealing with it at that time.

I watched it again, and I don't see all those steps. I just hear this noise. I was really woken up earlier. I want the crew to have a good time, but they shouldn't be having a good time at my expense.

So did you know that night you were probably firing [Jared] the next day?

I was already thinking through where he was at. And the problem is when you're on your last warning, people don't usually get past a second warning and survive because there's too much pressure. And I can see him struggling. And I've got reports that he was drinking that night and I told him to stop the piss. You're going through a lot of s--- right now, mate. And there were more conversations than what we can show. We don't have enough time.

But there were more times I spoke with him about going through what he's going through and getting his head straight and being in the game and that alcohol is not going to help you make the right decisions. It's going to make things worse. And he told me that he would back off the booze, and that was from that first crew party. When I saw him break the glass, I left. I'm like, man, I want the crew to have their fun. But the other thing that people aren't fully aware of is my responsibility as a captain isn't just what happens on the boat. So if my crew is getting too drunk and they hurt themselves on the beach or falling out of a cab, that's my responsibility.

Do you think Jared could have been drinking a little on charter?

If I would've smelled it, he would've been off the boat faster than Cat was. So it never entered my mind that that was happening. What was happening is you hit the booze hard and then the next day you're not going to function as well. And what I wasn't aware of was Ben undermining him. So he had to constantly deal with being undermined, keeping his head cool. He [couldn't get through to] his daughter, the job, me... he had pressure from everywhere,

And you really tried to work with him. I also have to ask, what was the deal with his [Wi-Fi] signal? I noticed he was on the boat, he couldn't get through to his daughter, but then he was on land trying to get through.

I've seen a bit of chatter about that online because they see me talking to my kids and then him not. I'm on the bridge. He's trying to contact his daughter down in his room. It's like being inside a high-rise or in a basement. So that could address that issue. I offered him to use my phone more than one time to speak to his child. In the last episode, he had an iPhone and his regular phone beside him. I don't know whether he borrowed a crew member's phone or what, but maybe it was the other side. Maybe other things were happening in Alaska that weren't lining up. Do you know what I mean?

I will say that was one of the most graceful firings I've seen on Below Deck . He was being fired, but in the end, he left feeling okay. So kudos to you.

I was worried about him. I'm getting a little emotional thinking about it. I'm going back there. I've been in that low spot where I don't know if I can find a way out of this.

I've been there and what did I do? I quit my job and I came ashore and painted houses. I got out of there. I had to put the ego aside. I'm running a 300-foot yacht. I'm in the pinnacle of my career. I'm in the Maldives. I've always wanted to be here. I've been working so hard to get there, and I've got to take care of this. I've got to be there for my kids. How hard it can be? So if I never had been there and we'd go to the Captain Kerry of 10 years ago, you'd see a different person talking. I wouldn't be as gentle. I'd be pissed off and I would've made his mental health worse because I would've just drilled him to the ground. "You'd let me down. You had the opportunity. You keep f---ing up." You know what I mean? That was the way that I grew up in the industry. The boat doesn't change for you. You change for the boat. And a big part of me changing is not only my experience in that, but when I shot [Below Deck] Adventure , I was already on that train of mental health and stuff, but also able to see myself and have that opportunity to see [myself] from someone else's perspective,

And then to see behind the scenes how that's affected somebody in a positive or negative manner. So the show in itself has made me a better captain, a better partner, a better father, a better human being.

Well, it shows. Have you talked to Jared since? How's he doing?

I got with him before the first episode because I didn't know how they were going to portray him, and I wanted to make sure he was okay. Just let him know, look man, I know you're in a bad headspace. Got any problems, give me a call. I got with Cat, but Jared was in town, so he came to my house. We went and got a burger. I invited Jared to the watch party last weekend.

So he's doing well. Did Jared say that firing him was probably the best thing you could've done for him?

A hundred percent. A hundred percent. And he brought his dad to come to my watch party and his dad thanked me.

And then we have Cat. We don't know exactly what it was, but it seems like whatever happened was horrific. What was going on there?

I knew that she was having challenges by just seeing her move around. I'm surprised by how much trouble she was having at the job and how gracious Xandi was in training her. But it breaks my heart to see how much Cat was crying. And then she would come out and have to put a brave face on.

But she was really struggling. And as soon as I found out that she was in that bad place, I mean, there's no editing there. I'm bringing the port control. I'm ringing local Coast Guard. I'm ringing everybody. I could just see it in her face. I didn't need to know what was going on. It didn't matter what it was. To her, it was catastrophic. And that's something else I've learned on my journey is that it's real to that person who's going through it. It doesn't matter if it doesn't affect you or how insignificant it may seem. It's real to them.

That's probably the fastest departure in Below Deck history.

So how is Cat doing?

She's having a hard time seeing herself where she's at. But she said she's in a pretty good headspace. And I've shown her support — I say, look, if you need someone to talk to, I'm always here.

I know you jumped in once you were down two crew members. You're washing dishes and everything, so you were very cool about it. But were you freaking out that you lost two people in one day?

No, because freaking out doesn't get the job done. So don't get me wrong. There's a big... like, okay, Kerry, did you think this through? [ Laughs ] But it wasn't for me to think through. These two people were in a place where their minds weren't on the job because they were having some mental health issues that we couldn't take care of on board.

Catch all the Below Deck deck drama on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Captain Kerry promises the drama continues, teasing that despite newly appointed bosun Ben Willoughby's strong performance, he, too, may encounter rough waters.

Screen Rant

10 below deck charter guests who will never return to the franchise.

While the charter guests who appear on Below Deck have a great time while filming the show, many aren't invited back for a number of reasons.

  • Some charter guests on Below Deck have caused unnecessary drama and won't likely return due to bad behavior.
  • Captain Glenn Shephard from Below Deck Sailing Yacht faced backlash from Barrie, who called him two-faced.
  • Former guest Dr. Francis Martinis will not return to Below Deck after he was arrested for faking prescriptions.

The Below Deck franchise has featured many charter guests since 2013, many of whom will never return . The Bravo series focuses on expensive charters with wealthy guests who have attitude problems and over-the-top demands. That includes Charter guest Alexis Bellino, who boarded Captain Lee Rosbach’s yacht with her boyfriend at the time, Andy Bohn. She was disrespectful and made everyone uncomfortable with her and Andy's PDA. She even insulted crew members after featuring on the show.

Like Alexis, Delores Flora from Below Deck season 8 was a terrible guest. Not only did she misbehave, but she also got drunk and s wam while intoxicated, which is not only not allowed, it frightened the crew members. Delores got kicked out of the yacht the next day. These guests created unnecessary drama on the boat and will likely never return like a few others from the franchise.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

8 barrie & tony, below deck sailing yacht.

Barrie and Tony Drewitt Barlow had a decent time in the Below Deck Sailing Yacht seasons 2 and 3. Despite that, they left with a bitter taste because of Captain Glenn Shephard. In 2021, Barrie participated in a podcast, Pita Party: The Podcast , where he claimed that Captain Glenn bothered him while using his phone .

Barrie said, “he (Captain Glenn) was a two-face b*stard,” adding that he just didn’t like his presence.

7 Frank Fay

Below deck mediterranean.

In Below Deck Mediterranean season 7, Charter guest Frank Fay had a thing for second stew Kyle Viljoen. He pursued him on the yacht, but unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last. Frank will likely never return to the series as long as Captain Sandy Yawn allows Kyle to work for her. Even if Kyle quits, Frank wouldn’t want to be in an environment that would remind him of his failed relationship.

6 Erica Rose

Erica Rose appeared on Below Deck Sailing Yacht two seasons in a row. Erica was highly offensive toward the crew member, as well as her husband, Charles Sanders, and to make things worse, she left the crew with a measly tip , leading fans to slam her on social media. Ultimately, Erica had to apologize for her bad attitude but never returned to give the crew the tip they deserved. Nobody on Below Deck Sailing Yacht would ever want to return.

5 Justin Guarini

Justin Guarini’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht was not dramatic at all; however, he’ll probably never return to the series. Justin wouldn’t return because he wasn't the primary guest. He joined his friend, Kim, who wanted to enjoy a luxury yacht trip. It was more of a one-and-done deal. Secondly, nobody recognized him at all. Viewers later realized who he was and how he was the runner-up on American Idol season 1. Justin is a theatre artist and has made a name for himself. However, it was embarrassing that so many fans had no clue who he was .

Below Deck: 8 Charter Guests With The Worst Attitudes

4 johnny damon.

Johnny Damon’s time at Below Deck Med was full of explosive moments. Once, he sent the food back, citing that the experience wasn’t “five stars.” On another occasion, his wife, Michelle, created drama by yelling at the owner of another yacht . Overall, the experience was simply terrible on both sides. Crew members didn’t love Johnny and his wife, and the couple didn’t respect the crew members. It is unlikely that Captain Sandy would want to host the couple again as long as she’s in charge.

3 Krystal Murphy

Former charter guest Krystal Murphy boarded Captain Lee’s yacht with her friends. She immediately began showing red flags, drinking, and just being a menace. Krystal fought with her friend, Chelsea, creating unnecessary drama. She even passed out and punched a friend in the face. Former Chief Stew Kate Chastain disliked serving Krystal and called her a “spoiled brat;” she wanted to throw her off the yacht. Nowadays, Krystal has seemingly become a more private person. It doesn’t seem like Krystal would want to be on TV again.

2 Steve Bradley

Below Deck fans should remember Steve Bradley as he made many appearances on the show. In Below Deck season 3, he wanted a foam party and demanded the crew to figure it out and follow his commands, acting like a king. In Below Deck season 6, Steve made more outrageous requests. Apart from being a wild guest, Steve was entitled and acted inappropriately at times . No Below Deck captain would want to host him again as he didn't come off as very likable.

1 Dr. Francis Martinis

Below deck mediterranean & below deck sailing yacht.

Dr. Francis Martinis from Below Deck Med and Below Deck Sailing Yacht has a zero chance of returning. While the former charter guest didn’t have too many issues on the show, his personal life issues will stop him from appearing on Bravo again. According to TMZ , Dr. Francis and his wife, Jessica, were arrested for filling out fake prescriptions in December 2023 . The couple used the names of Below Deck stars and got caught red-handed. The Below Deck franchise would never want to welcome felons, especially when their mugshots are all over the internet.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

Below Deck is a popular reality TV franchise that focuses on a group of crew members as they work on luxurious yachts and cater to their client's needs. After the original series proved to be a success, Bravo developed a handful of spinoff shows including Below Deck Selling Yacht, Below Deck Adventure, Below Deck Down Under, and Below Deck Mediterranean.
