She can accommodate up to 18 guests in 10 staterooms, with 27 crew members. She has a gross tonnage of 2334.0 GT and a 13.8 m beam.

She was designed by Espen Oeino International , who has designed 66 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database.

The naval architecture was developed by Lurssen , who has architected 69 other superyachts in the BOAT Pro database, and the interior of the yacht was designed by Alberto Pinto , who has 25 other superyacht interiors designed in the BOAT Pro database - she is built with a Teak deck, a Steel hull, and Aluminium superstructure.

ROCINANTE is in the top 5% by LOA in the world. She is one of 116 motor yachts in the 70-80m size range, and, compared to similarly sized motor yachts, her cruising speed is 2.14 kn above the average, her top speed 0.16 kn above the average, and her volume 561.58 GT above the average.

ROCINANTE Yacht – Remarkable $100M Superyacht

ROCINANTE yacht, formerly known as TV and Madsummer, is an exquisite mega yacht that is renowned for its outstanding style and sheer size. 

Originally built by the Lurssen shipyard back in 2008, she can accommodate 12 guests across nine cabins. 

The new superyacht comes with a sophisticated edge stemming from a distinguished, contemporary exterior and the large size of the vessel.

She is the 39th largest yacht built by Lürssen and ranks at number 179 on the world’s list of the biggest yachts. 

Among her other achievements, she was included in the 2010 edition of the popular book The Superyachts.

Her popularity that year may have stemmed from her entry into the 2009 World Superyacht Awards. She was named a finalist for the Best 1,300GT to 2,999GT Motor Yacht (about 60m – 84m).

ROCINANTE yacht interior

The interior design was designed by Alberto Pinto, a design firm that encompasses more than a style and his passion for creating rooms that are both opulent and delightful in their design and construction.

The spacious guest suites reflect the yacht’s clean, fresh, and ambient style. In order to enhance the ambiance, each guest room has its unique style. 

Each furnishing and decorative feature has been carefully selected to create a truly luxurious yet functional space for guests to enjoy while onboard. 

The luxuriously appointed interior of the ROCINANTE yacht, the seagoing mega-yacht built in collaboration between a luxury Italian fashion house and Italian yacht designer Espen Oeino , reveals a spacious layout that is arranged on two decks. 

The top deck houses a forward stateroom with a large jetted tub and a double shower. She also contains the main saloon, which boasts an elegant marble fireplace and is furnished with leather seating areas and sofas surrounding a coffee table by Foscarini Casa .

ROCINANTE was also the name of another renowned mode of travel, Don Quixote’s steed. The superyacht maintains a brave, arrogant, and somewhat insane demeanor regardless of who controls her at the moment.

The boat is completely decked up in lovely gleaming teak. With lots of spots to unwind and soak up some sun and a cushioned bed/couch space the size of a room on one deck, you’re virtually obligated to obtain a tan just by coming.

Accommodation

With its eight suites, five VIP cabins, and a total of 12 guestrooms, the ROCINANTE yacht can accommodate up to 12 people in total luxury. 

Aside from that, there are two staff cabins on board. She can also accommodate up to 32 crew members, ensuring that guests enjoy a stress-free luxury yacht experience. 

A beauty salon, sauna, and beauty salon are among the amenities available. She also has an elevator, satellite communications, a gym, a deck jacuzzi, WiFi, and air conditioning.

THE ROCINANTE yacht has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, with teak decks and a teak deckhouse. 

Powered by twin Caterpillar (3516 DI TA SCAC) 2,717hp diesel engines running at 1600rpm, she cruises comfortably at 12 knots and can reach a top speed of 17 knots. 

She has a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 126,000-liter fuel tanks when traveling at 12 knots. 

When at anchor or on a cruise, an innovative stabilization system onboard ensures guests will be in outstanding comfort. Her water tanks have a capacity of around 40,000 Litres of fresh water. 

She was constructed in accordance with Lloyds Register 100A1 SSC Yacht, Mono G6 + LMC, UMS classification society guidelines, and is MCA compliant, among other standards.

The ROCINANTE yacht has a price of US $100 million and has an annual running cost of US $5 – 10 million.

Espen Oeino was the naval architecture company involved in the professional superyacht plans for ROCINANTE. Also the company Espen Oeino expertly worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Alberto Pinto was responsible for the overall internal ambience. In 2008 she was formally launched with triumph in Rendsburg and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards passed on to the owner who commissioned her. Lurssen Yachts completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. A sizeable proportion is brought about with a maximum beam (width) of 13.8 m or 45.6 ft. With a 3.75m (12ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is built out of aluminium.
