ALBATROSS Yacht – Sophisticated $72M Superyacht

ALBATROSS yacht is a 72.2-meter motor yacht that was built by Delta Marine , renowned for its finest custom yacht manufacturing and services — with an owner’s vision and desires at heart. 

She is the 2nd-largest yacht built by the shipyard and is in the top 5% by LOA in the world.

She is one of 107 motor yachts that fall within the size range of 70-80 meters, and when compared to other motor yachts of a similar size, her volume is 323.73 GT larger than the average.

She is currently sailing under the Cayman Islands flag, the 2nd most popular flag state for superyachts with a total of 1259 yachts registered under their jurisdiction. 

ALBATROSS yacht interior 

The ALBATROSS yacht interior was penned by Francois Zuretti , a yacht interior designing company that specializes in unique, custom interior designs for yachts.

With their dedicated team, they make sure their beloved clients are heard and understood, from the schematic design phase to the construction supervision.

There is not much known about her, as Delta is not permitted to release information about her (she is not even mentioned on their website).

Three years after she was finished, the megayacht is still kept in perfect secret, and there is no information on the Zuretti interior that is accessible. She was both launched and finished in complete anonymity.

The streamlined and sophisticated exterior of the superyacht was designed by Espen Oeino, a design company located in Monaco that has made a big impact on the new-build industry and is now regarded as one of the world’s top design studios for large customized motor yachts.

This magnificent vessel has a total length of 72.0 meters (236 feet), a beam of 13.0 meters (42 feet eight inches), a maximum draft of 4.1 meters (13 feet five inches), and a gross tonnage of 2066.

Additionally, she was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.

SERENITY is a (72m / 236’) luxury motor yacht built in 2014 and refitted in 2015/16. As a one of a kind super yacht made for entertainment and parties, she will be able to accommodate 28 guests accommodated in 14 staterooms.

She will be normally cruising in the East MEDITERRANEAN or the ADRIATIC, with ONE WAY charters between Turkey and Croatia and Greece and Sicily available on request. There are always at least 30 attentive super yacht crew members on board. Thanks to her twin super yacht engines, she can cruise at speeds of up to around 14kn. During best sea and wind conditions, maximum speeds of up to 17kn can be reached. Her best features are accommodation for 28 guests, superyacht crew of 30 and facilities suitable for corporate parties and event charters such as those during Cannes Film Festival.

Luxury on the sea might be on Giorgio Armani’s mind when he designs the opulent 72-meter Admiral superyacht for The Italian Sea Group whose interior design was unveiled on February 11th during an evening gathering at Marina di Carrara, the headquarters of the yacht production. Giorgio Armani and The Italian Sea Group first announced their collaboration on March 30th, 2021, and fast-forward to 2023, the design and construction of the 72-meter Admiral motor yacht are looking at a 2024 release date.

Conceived under the Admiral family of The Sea Italian Group, Giorgio Armani’s megayacht blends the exquisite aspects of the nautical and fashion worlds. Gold accents underline the earthy tones of the yacht’s interior with their subtle addition to the already grand fixtures and design elements that come from Armani/Casa. Flimsy curtains peek through the sea’s view with their translucent material, dividing the spaces without entirely closing them off one another.

Large, rectangular sofas with a myriad of throw pillows invite yacht-goers to recline and laze about while sipping cocktails. There also seems to be a dedicated, modest dining space beside the communal area should the guests prefer a more intimate setting. Here, plush beige-colored armchairs replace usual dining chairs to harmoniously flow with the atmosphere’s intended design. Divisions are paneled through moveable pieces rather than opting for irreversible ones.

Stepping outside the megayacht that Giorgio Armani has designed for Admiral and The Italian Sea Group , guests can easily enjoy the shifting landscapes of the sea and horizon as L-shaped seating areas greet them from the get-go. In the evening, a romantic feel comes through as lamps planted in corners and around the wood-planked deck emit a soft glow. Whether it is for a casual meeting or an all-out party, the megayacht’s deck is a must-stay space for those who enjoy watching the movement of the watercraft or just being out in the open.

The full specs of the megayacht will soon be revealed, but as seen in the photos that the duo has shared, the megayacht enjoys a number of luxurious amenities such as an upper deck that allows guests to be on the eye level of the horizon, a gym room with essential equipment to get their sweat running and calories burning, and a massage room to pamper the guests and let their steam off for a while before heading to the party.

Project 2024, a 72.6-meter mega yacht built by Feadship, has been announced

Feadship , a Dutch yacht building company, has collaborated with Nauta Design to offer Project 2024 , a 72m high speed luxury yacht prototype. Project 2024, which was unveiled at an online media briefing, was designed in collaboration with Nauta and highlights marine architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects . The idea was developed in response to a number of customer demands, according to the builder, and is tailored to clients who "have no expertise nor concern in the complicated technological aspects of a new construction."

Project 2024, on the other hand, provides a "incredible number of customised high product options." Many of the key technological components have already been developed, including the necessary engineering and marine design. Costumers would be able to save time on distribution and be free to "build their own personalized Feadship" as a result of this. As a consequence, the mega yacht will be delivered in time for the summer of 2024.

Project 2024 was influenced by plenty of innovative superyacht designs proposed by designers around the industry, according to chief product strategist Farouk Nefzi . “We've seen a lot of stunning futuristic concepts with cutting-edge technologies and fantastical dreams. But the primary issue is what is truly feasible now, and what kind of creativity can be implemented now.” The proposal has been "focused out to the greatest degree of precision," according to Feadship, and is "remarkably separate from just about any luxury yacht prototype model available today."

It was born out of a collaboration between Nauta and the builder on some other Feadship luxury yacht task and according to the company: “Their pleasant friendship encouraged them to imagine how their joint perfect Feadship could look for potential customers wanting to know about how to skip the early technological period of a new build implementation.” Nauta and Feadship spent a few months designing and developing a "unique concept that would incorporate all of their common experience" with Feadship De Voogt Naval Designers.

The 72m Project 2024 is the outcome, a completely Tier III compatible mega yacht with a steel hull and an aluminum upper body. Feadship ’s ceo Jan-Bart Verkuyl stated that the engineering team sought to integrate a variety of market-leading design developments into the concept. Resilience, future creativity and innovation and modern features are just a few of them. “We wanted to have a place where customers could invest extra time with family and friends,” the company says. The outcome is a 70-meter private yacht that incorporates all current construction trends. We know how important it is for people to be allowed to navigate from their yacht, so we have a tickle helipad on the stern, as well as plenty of windows and connections across the outside and inside.”

The main exterior elements contain wide screens, smaller size and "elegant" bulwarks, with a sea view and an inland and outside connection. The 564 square meter of cabin space can be fully customized to the customer's preferences and desires, with 12 guests sleeping in a wide master cabin, VIP cabin, and 8 extra rooms that can be configured as doubles or twins. The master cabin, which is located forward of the main deck, is defined as a "sanctuary of individual privacy and leisure," with pieces of clothing and coated surfaces that produce a "aura of clarity." The suite has his and hers standing cupboards, a lounge, and a personal balcony that results in higher deck's rooftop lobby and outdoor dining hall. A reach helipad has been designated instead of the upper deck, although this may be converted into extra seating if the buyer so wishes.

The above-mentioned sun deck is separated into three main areas. The forward area has a Hot tub that is arranged for tanning, while the center area has a seating area for 12 people that is protected by translucent windbreaker boards. Aft is a bar location. A huge food lift spans both floors, and an escalator will carry visitors around the yacht. Over on the ground floor, the aft section flows into the main saloon, which is separated into a bar and dining area with massive screens and panoramic views of the sea. There's also the luxury of adding flip terraces to the lounge, stretching it over the lake.

The beach club , which is located aft of the bottom section, is a highlight feature. The pool bar is extended by an additional 80 percent thanks to large square side wings. There is also a 3.3-meter pool and plenty of seating in the field. The rooftop bar has tight ties to the deck behind with curving steps – a layout element that allow families to take care on kids playing on the beach club. Verkuyl commented on the beach club idea, saying, "Lots of beach clubs are being built within boats, but we're really watching beach clubs expand and becoming more." It's an attractive room that connects you to the water surrounding you - a spot where you'd like to spend time with loved ones.” Project 2024 has room for 18 team members, along with a designated captain's quarters and eight extra rooms on the bottom section.

Giorgio Armani cooperates for the design of a new 72m Admiral yacht

The Italian Sea Group and Giorgio Armani have announced their collaboration for the design (and construction) of a new 72 meter Admiral motor yacht, which is expected to be ready in early 2024. The designer’s fashion house is channeling his passion for luxury yachting into a new, unexpected project. This marks the first time Armani will become involved in such a project, although he did oversee the furnishing and design of his two personal yachts, Mariù and Maìn.

“This agreement, of which I am extremely proud, is a further confirmation of our way of being able to realize unique projects with Made in Italy brands of excellence that share our values”, comments Giovanni Costantino, FOUNDER & CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “Armani is synonymous with timeless elegance and sophistication and its stylistic vision will also increase our stylistic sensitivity. The new motor yacht, which combines technology and excellence in design with the distinctive features of Armani and its deep identity will give us great satisfaction”.

The multi-award winning 72.01m/236'3" motor yacht 'Casino Royale' (ex. Solo) was built by Tankoa Yachts in Italy at their Genoa shipyard. Her interior is styled by Italian designer design house Margherita Casprini and she was delivered to her owner in November 2018. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Francesco Paszkowski Design and she was last refitted in 2023.

Guest Accommodation

Casino Royale has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Her features include a dancefloor, movie theatre, beauty salon, elevator, underwater lights, beach club, gym, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Casino Royale is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3516B) 16-cylinder 2,480hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 13 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 9,100 nautical miles from her 178,000 litre fuel tanks at 10 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board promises exceptional comfort levels at anchor or on any voyage. Her water tanks store around 37,600 Litres of fresh water. She was built to RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) classification society rules.

72m Tankoa motor yacht Solo sold

The 72 metre Tankoa motor yacht Solo , has been sold in an in-house deal at Edmiston .

Solo was extensively upgraded both technically and cosmetically by her most recent owner in 2021/22. She spent the past winter at Amico Shipyard in Genoa undergoing a full paint job and renewing her five-year class survey. Designed by Francesco Paszkowski , Solo was built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Tankoa Yachts to RINA and Lloyd's class with delivery in 2018.

A luxe interior by Francesco Paszkowski and  Margherita Casprini , which is both modern and masculine, accommodates 12 guests in six cabins comprising a master suite with a private terrace, a VIP suite, two doubles and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities, while the crew quarters sleep 18 staff.

A favoured spot in the evening is the spacious sky lounge/piano bar offering plenty of seating on low and deep sofas by  Fendi Casa  in front of a 90-inch 4K OLED screen above the fireplace. One of the eye-catching features in the main deck dining room, meanwhile, is an aquarium by Melik – designed to keep the water still even as the yacht moves – filled with colourful fish.

Access to the main deck saloon is through two side doors, instead of the more usual big central sliding door. Here is a welcome lobby and relaxation area with low seating, flowing curtains, a bar decorated with cacti.

The beach club connects with the yacht’s wellness hub, which includes a glass-walled gym, a sauna and hammam spa and chilled water shower, both with a fold out terrace balcony. 

Her top speed is 17.5 knots and she boasts a cruising range of 6,000 nautical miles at 12.5 knots with power coming from two 2,480hp Caterpillar 3516-B diesel engines. For added comfort, she is fitted with Naiad zero speed stabilisers.

Solo was asking €66,000,000.

The Hatteras 72 Motor Yacht is a 72-foot luxury cruising yacht with a flybridge that was produced by North Carolina-based boat-building firm Hatteras between the years of 2008 and 2015. This yacht’s classic profile, sedate interiors and ability for long-range cruising with the whole family makes it one of the most popular Hatteras models on the used and charter markets to this day. Not a yacht that wins you over with gimmicks or experimental styling, the 72 Motor Yacht’s appeal depends upon its innate seaworthiness, spacious accommodation and a restrained and elegant feel.

This Hatteras yacht comes with either an enclosed flybridge for all-weather piloting or with an open flybridge perfect for enjoying summer voyages in the warmer climes. Both bridges feature a pair of curved side sofas, a walk-in wet-bar with granite counters, bar stools, chilled storage and either a Gaggenau grill or an electric hob, as well an al-fresco sun lounge to the rear that comes with a Steelhead Marine davit for tender storage and lifting. The main helm station is also situated on the bridge level for elevated piloting with superb visibility, and the dashboard here boasts Bennett trim tab controls, Sea Star hydraulic steering, Northstar GPS, Simrad autopilot, dual-prop bow thruster controls and VHF radio.

There is plenty of room to soak up the sun down on the main deck, where a double sunpad out on the foredeck is complemented by a partially shaded aft-cockpit to the rear with a transom dining sofa and side steps to a full-beam swimming platform. Main deck interiors are lined in African mahogany and glossy cherry, while cinema-screen side glazing, plush carpeting, leather furnishings and stainless-steel accents complete the refined atmosphere. A sprawling L-shaped sofa to starboard sits across from a curved wet-bar with an icemaker in the salon, while a couple of armchairs, a bespoke coffee table and a six-seater dining table take up space further forward. At the front of the internal cockpit there is a country kitchen with a KitchenAid four-zone ceramic hob, a Whirlpool convection oven, a Sharp microwave, a Sub-Zero fridge-freezer and a trash compactor, as well as a dining booth that can be exchanged for a main deck helm.

The Hatteras design team has taken full advantage of this yacht’s 20-foot beam to craft a lower-deck with four spacious cabins for up to eight overnight guests. An en-suite VIP stateroom with a double bed to the bow is joined by an en-suite amidship double, a twin bunk berth to starboard and an owner’s stateroom aft. The owner’s room impresses with mullioned side windows, a king-sized bed, bedside cabinets, cushioned wall panels to dampen engine noise, a work or vanity station and a double bathroom with a waterfall shower stall. There is also room down here for a crew quarters accessed via a transom door, which comes with a double bed and its own bathroom facilities.

You can ride this beautiful vessel for over 1,100 nautical miles should you glide along at the leisurely pace of 9.5 knots, yet if you are the sort of owner-operator who prefers getting the adrenalin pumping then top speeds of over 25 knots are possible. You can choose between twin CAT C32 1800MHP diesels, two MTU 12V 2000CR inboards or a pair of MAN V-12 engines to power this yacht, while the option of TRAC stabilizers help to eliminate roll while in choppy waters.
