‘Sea Dreams’ is a 131.99ft  /40.23m  motor yacht, custom built in 1995 by Northcoast Yachts and last refitted in 2011. The yacht was previously named Life’s Finest II, and her stylish interior design is by Robin Rose & Associates and her exterior design is by Northcoast Yachts.

Sea Dreams’s spacious interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is easily capable of carrying up to 6 crew members onboard to ensure you and your guests enjoy the most exquisite charter experience, making use of the superyacht’s impressive amenities. Her interior design is immaculate, and she has a really stylish feel throughout.

Her impressive leisure and entertainment facilities make her perfect for entertaining friends and family on your charter vacation. There’s space for enjoying lavish lunches, delicious dinners on deck, or simply lounging in the sunshine.

Built with a GRP hull and GRP superstructure, she has a cruising speed of 12 knots, and combines performance with style.

This impressive yacht comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

A deck Jacuzzi is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking views after a long day of exploration.

You’ll find Wi-Fi connection throughout, so you’ll be able to check emails or share your experience on social media. A gym onboard, equipped with the latest exercise equipment, means you’ll never miss a work out.

Sea Dreams can sleep up to 12, with use of sofa bed in Sky lounge, preferably for Nanny or Children. This guest has to share shower with one of the guest staterooms. $2,000 per additional guest after 10. For pick up/ drop off in Staniel Cay, delivery is $3,200. For week long charters, the owner may consider waiving it. DAY CHARTERS: $12,300 for 10 guests and $160 for each additional guest. They can carry up to 12 guests for day charters. *Rate includes: Continental Breakfast, Surf and Turf Lunch, Snacks, Open Bar and Beverages - Dockage at Yacht Haven Grand is also included but transportation from Atlantis to Yacht Haven is charterer's expense.

Captain: PETER VASQUEZ

Captain – Peter Vazquez Cuban/American Peter has owned and operated a variety of yachts for both private and charter use. As well as managing several yachts for his clients through the years, Peter has 30 years of experience in the Corporate Aviation field as a Pilot and Aviation Manager. With his partner of 19 years, Kim, he has had the opportunity to travel throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. His high-energy personality and enthusiasm for entertaining guests has earned him the nickname Energizer Bunny. Whether he is teaching you to water-ski, dive or ride the Blaster, Peter will ensure that your voyage aboard Sea Dreams will be memorable. Peter holds a 200/500 Ton USCG Master License and is fluent in Spanish and dabbles with French. Mate – Peter Nelson South African Growing up on the East Coast of Southern Africa, Peter’s love for the ocean started at an early age. Fueled by his passion for fishing, he soon started exploring the underwater world. He became a Dive Instructor at the age of 18, and from there, worked in many exotic locations around the world including the Maldives, Cayman Islands, Oman and South Africa. He ran his own Dive and Whale watching charter business in South Africa for 5 years before joining the Yachting Industry in 2009. Since then, he has sailed the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Mediterranean extensively. Peter is also a kite-surfing instructor, avid fly-fisherman and passionate surfer. If it’s time on, or under the water you are looking for, you are in good hands! Chief Stewardess – Amanda Kaczay American Amanda was born and raised on the beautiful and often challenging shores of Lake Erie, in Bay Village, Ohio. She spent her summers boating, exploring and enjoying the lake and nearby islands. She went to The University of South Carolina to get her degree in business management and marketing, but it was her minor degree in fashion merchandising that served to launch her career in fashion retail management. After five years in the retail industry Amanda was in need of a change and joined her first motor yacht as a Stewardess. After working for two years she pursued her passion for Scuba Diving and travelled to Utila, Honduras to complete her Divemaster and Instructor courses. Since being certified as an Instructor, Amanda spent time teaching at Sea Saba in Saba, Netherland Antilles in the Caribbean and now works as a freelance Scuba Instructor on motor yachts based out of Nassau, The Bahamas. Amanda is a very easy-going person and quick to make guests feel at home. She also enjoys other water activities such as kayaking, surfing, spearfishing and paddleboarding. 2nd Stewardess – Lore Castillo Chilean Lore was born and raised in Chile and gained a desire for traveling and discovering new cultures when she was 15 years old. Lore moved to America for two years where she graduated from high school in New York. Lore has a Masters Degree in Psychology but decided to leave it aside for a while and move to Australia where she discovered the industry of yachting and then decided to move to Fort Lauderdale to give it a real shot. Lore has a bubbly, outgoing personality and will make guests feel welcome and at home. In her free time Lore likes to cook, go hiking and has a love for the water and paddleboarding. Engineer – Sam Wheaton Australian Originally from Australia, Sam studied Business at the University of Newcastle and University of Wisconsin. After growing up on a farm, Sam has always enjoyed working with machinery and equipment. His real passion is fishing and when he found a way to combine the two, he jumped at the chance and began working as a engineer 5 years ago. He enjoys almost all sports and can easily spend a whole Sunday playing golf. Chef – Martin Snyman South African Martin was born in South Africa. From a very young age he was busy in the kitchen helping his mom and grandma cook. At the age of 9, he cooked his first meal for his whole family and that’s where it all started. He finished school and went to study at Keven Warwick Chef School. After studying, Martin got the chance to go work with Peter Temphelhoff, one of South Africa’s top chef at the 5Th best restaurant in South Africa, called Grande Provence. Its located in the beautiful wine valley of Francshhoek. He then went on and help opened a Restaurant called Freedom Hill. Martin really wanted to travel and learn more about food and decided in 2010, to start his yachting career and he never looked back. Martin has traveled to the Caribbean, Canada, New England and the Med.

The 40m/132ft luxury yacht ‘Sea Dreams’ is offering an eight-day charter for the price of seven or a reduced rate of $74,500 for a week-long booking on August charters in the Bahamas .   

Launched in 1995 by US shipyard Northcoast Yachts, Sea Dreams boasts classic lines, a timeless interior, and wonderfully appointed deck areas designed for relaxing, entertaining and dining.

Based year-round in the Bahamas , she offers unforgettable yacht charters in the Exumas – one of the most idyllic island chains in the world with sapphire blue waters and footprint free beaches. What’s more, she has access to the beautiful private island Leaf Cay.

Views of the brilliant surrounds are best taken in from her sundeck, where a six-person Jacuzzi and lounge area invite guests to unwind in the glorious sunshine while docked in a secluded bay or anchorage.

Enjoy barbecues on the upper deck aft, equipped with a large alfresco dining table, or take advantage of the second outdoor eating area on the aft deck, capable of hosting up to 12 guests.

Following a 2011 refit, the interior of charter yacht Sea Dreams now benefits from sophisticated styling thanks to Robin Rose and Associates. Rich dark mahogany is offset by soft neutral tones, creating a classic and elegant atmosphere.

A lounge in the main salon is formed by sumptuous leather-upholstered sofas and armchairs, and a formal dining option is located further forward. One deck above, the skylounge is a great place to enjoy cocktail evenings with friends or family.

The motor yacht is able to sleep up to 10 guests in five staterooms, comprised of a master suite with a Jacuzzi tub, three VIP staterooms and one twin stateroom.

To ensure charter guests make the most of the stunning Bahamas waters, she is equipped with a great selection of water toys, including water skis, Jet Skis, kayaks, paddle boards, inflatables, and scuba diving and snorkelling equipment.

The main salon is open plan, featuring a wet bar aft, lounge central and formal dining forward. An upper sky lounge boasts a spacious lounge area, with an opposing wet bar to starboard.

Enjoy the wonderful Bahamas weather over 3 decks aboard SEA DREAMS. The shaded aft deck is perfect for relaxing, offering an alfresco dining area, seating and easy access to the swim platform. An upper deck is adjacent to the sky lounge, with an alfresco dining table. On the sundeck, there is plenty of seating, sun pads and a raised Jacuzzi.

Victor Barteaux

I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been on and around boats since as long as I can remember. I love everything to do with the water, always have.

My first boat was a Row boat made from 1 sheet of plywood, by 8 years of age I had graduated to a 16 foot Dory. Growing up, I worked aboard Lobster boats when school and hockey ended for summer. In University I worked as a bartender and continued on the boats in the summer. I journeyed to Alaska once I completed my Marine Biology/Business Undergraduate degrees at Saint Mary’s University. I worked for NOAA fisheries and many commercial fishing vessels on the Bering Sea ranging in size from 64-330 ft. Trips ranged from 3 days to 3 months at sea.

After 4 years of ocean spray freezing on me upon contact, a friend from university introduced me to yachting. With my marine experience I moved up quickly from deckhand to captain in 11 months. I gained my MCA Captains license at Maritime Professional Training in Fort Lauderdale in 2007.

Since then I have worked fulltime as Captain and Engineer aboard yachts ranging from 82-132 ft.  I have gained over 30,000 NM of experience as Captain navigating to destinations that include but are not limited to: Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Canada, the entire East Coast of the USA, most of the Bahamian Islands, 90% of the Caribbean Islands, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Aruba and pretty much everywhere in between.

Martin Snyman

Martin was born and raised in South Africa. From an early age, Martin was intrigued by food. He learned a lot from his Mother by helping her in the kitchen whenever he can. Martin’s career took off in the beautiful Franschhoek Valley, a little French Huguenot town in the Western Cape. He worked for Peter Tempelhoff in the Restaurant called Grande Provance where they became the 5th best restaurant in South Africa. Martin was very eager to travel and wanted to learn more about the world’s culinary trends and in 2010, he decided to get on a plane and join a yacht. Martin has travelled extensively around the world and is now calling the Bahamas his home.

Vernon Deas

Nickname:  Cubby

Born in George, South Africa, Cubby grew up close to the coast and spent most of his youth surfing around the south coast. With the odd fishing trip with his father on a boat in the Breede river, Cubby shortly fell in love with the idea of a life at sea.

Most of his early boating took place aboard 38ft – 52ft sailing catamarans, working for a yacht delivering company sailing boats across the Indian and Atlantic Ocean, Accumulating over a 100000 miles of open ocean experience and visiting loads of remote places in the world. With a newfound love of sailing and a goal of working on a super yacht, Cubby completed his yacht master Ocean certificate. Cubby has gained valuable experience in his yachting career over the last 9 years.

In his spare time, Cubby enjoys Videography and uses the traveling aspect of his career to capture as many breathtaking moments as he can on camera above water or below. A keen Bodyboarder and freediver, with a lot of his free time is spent around the water enjoying all it has to offer.

Cubby is very much looking forward to making your stay onboard as exciting and fun as it can be and hopes to see you soon.

Meghen was raised in the Beautiful Bahamas where she attended school in Nassau and spent her school breaks between the Exuma cays, Eleuthera, Abaco and the Berry Islands.  Meghen grew up boating, spear fishing, sailing,  exploring the islands and riding horses.  She went to American Flyers College in South Florida to acquire her multi engine, land and Sea with instrument rating Pilots licenses and enjoyed flying sea planes in the Bahamas for 2 years before moving to Normans Cay Exuma to become the assistant manager of the famous MacDuffs Bar & Beach Club.  Years later Meghen’s love for working on Boats and on the water drew her away from the land base life and Into the yachting world where she continues to be passionate about top quality customer and guest services.  She is a very upbeat, cheerful and easy going person who is quick to make the guests feel at home.  Meghen is dedicated to making all her charters an unparalleled experience using her local knowledge of the Bahamas to add a unique touch to the trip for the guests.  In addition to her charm and skill as a stewardess she is adept to all yacht toys, holding her powerboat captains license and enjoys kayaking, sailing, swimming, spear fishing, snorkeling and scuba diving.

Best Bahamas Cruises

C ruises to the Bahamas are filled with sun, soft sands, and the opportunity to dip your toes in a warm and seductive crystal blue sea. The 700-island archipelago is the kind of oasis you dream of when, in my case at least, you're indoors on a cold and dark day in Cleveland. Exploring the islands is tricky by air, but much easier via ship. Bahamas cruises to take right now include quick jaunts from easy-to-get-to Florida ports as well as one-week and longer cruises that explore more deeply. That said, if you splurge on a suite in the Retreat, you'll have your own sundeck with hot tub, enjoy private lounge access, and dine at the exclusive restaurant Luminae, where signature dishes by Celebrity's culinary ambassador, Daniel Boulud, are featured on the rotating menu-such as creamy carrot and ginger velouté and Moroccan chicken tagine with saffron couscous.
