Joy’s sprawling exterior deck areas take in four levels of decadence, not including the alluring lower deck beach club. Dine al fresco in the air conditioned main deck winter garden. Sink into sofas on the bridge deck aft, enjoy coffee on one of two drop down terraces or shoot some hoops on the private basketball court on the owner’s deck forward. Time spent at sea has never felt so life-affirming.

A Centre of Wellness

Scattered across Joy’s decks is a fleet of excellent wellness facilities that elevate the yacht to next level status. A fully-equipped super-sized gym on the bridge deck is accompanied by a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. A treatment room on the lower deck is serviced by two spa therapists. When the adults are relaxing, the kids stay entertained with a PlayStation 4, a large forward games deck for soccer, badminton and volleyball and a host of watersports geared towards all ages.

When it’s time to kick back, the sun deck is where it’s at. Oversized sunbeds face forward giving cool blue vibes and views that stretch for miles. In addition to being a certified RYA watersports centre and offering an all-singing beach set up for picnics and barbecues, Joy’s incredible inventory of toys extends to three tenders – including a 16-person 11.3m Wajer – and a host of inflatables and towables. A 10m slide descends from the beach deck, while the Fliteboard and electric surfboard will test and entertain guests of all capabilities.

70m Heesen motor yacht Galactica Super Nova for sale

The 70.07 metre Heesen motor yacht Galactica Super Nova has been jointly listed for sale by Burgess and Arcon Yachts.

Built in aluminium by Heesen to a design by Espen Oeino International , she was delivered in 2016 as the flagship of the Dutch shipyard.

She welcomes 12 guests in six cabins. The full-beam owner's suite is forward on the main deck and features onyx panels and his and hers bathrooms are linked by a large walk-in rainfall shower. There is a VIP apartment with elevated views on the upper deck, complete with en suite, private study and a lounge that can convert into a seventh guest cabin, a second study or a staff cabin. There are four double cabins, all en suite, on the lower deck.

Her huge sun deck has an oval observation lounge forward of another lounge area with coffee tables. Sliding glass screens keep the wind away from the fully equipped sit-up bar, buffet and open-air dining area. All of this section is shaded by the hardtop. Aft of this is a lounge area with custom club chairs and sun pads surrounded by glass screen to preserve the views while blocking the breeze.

The main deck aft has a six metre infinity pool with resistance jets, spa jets, glass panels in the bottom and an atmospheric waterfall feature below skylights in the overhang above. Forward of the pool is a lounge area and aft steps lead down to a large swim platform.

To starboard, the side deck leads forward to steps leading up to the multipurpose foredeck, which serves as a touch-and-go helipad, outdoor cinema with a four metre screen rigged on removable carbon poles and surround sound, as well as sun loungers and entertainment space. Tenders and toys are stowed below and launched through shell doors.

Twin 5,766hp MTU diesel engines driving propellers and a 4,184 MTU-powered booster jet combine to give her a top speed of 30 knots and she also has a transatlantic range of 4,000 nautical miles at her passage speed of 12 knots. Quantum stabilisers keep her guests comfortable at anchor and underway.

Galactica Super Nova is asking €75,000,000.

Motor Yacht

The MY Olivia boasts a 12 person Jacuzzi and all the toys common on superyachts such as sailing boats, and high speed jet skis.

My Olivia is a great example of how to transform a classic ocean-going ship into a luxurious state-of-the-art expedition yacht.

She is capable of achieving a max speed of 15 knots using a powerful Deutz AG RBV 6M 358 Single Screw Diesel Engine with a long range distance of 13,500nm.

MY OLIVIA offers accommodation for up to 10 guests and is capable of carrying up to 26 crew onboard to ensure an attentive but relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Feadship launched JOY (70 m)

Feadship announced the launch of the 70m motor yacht joy.

JOY is the first exterior design by UK-based design studio Bannenberg & Rowell  (since the death of the great Jon Bannenberg in 2002). The interior was designed by Studio Indigo .

Dickie Bannenberg commented:

“It has been a great pleasure to work with an owner who was keen to bring something new to the superyacht world in the same way as my father did from the early 80s onwards with Feadship and others 

While our design studio has an excellent reputation for interiors, including twelve for Feadship owners, Joy is the first visible exterior design of a new era for us. The flow between the interior and exterior spaces and her generous wide walkways are without precedent on a motor yacht of this size and the vast exterior spaces have been used to great effect. Moreover, the wealth of concave shapes in the superstructure and judicious use of surface texturing have given Joy a design language and identity all her own.”

The New Diamond Superyacht Project is a series of four motor yachts, sizes ranging in size from 70 to 85 – 105 – 120 meters in length. The yacht design “New Diamond 70” is the latest new studio work by AVADESIGN Yachts Projects Prato, as led by designer Andrea Vasto.

The 70m New Diamond Superyacht Design Project - Underway

The New Diamond Project 70 m superyacht was realized by the designer, James Edmund van der Merwe who has followed the development of graphic concepts and assisted by the architect and designer Andrea Cardinal Fabio Vasta, members of the study AVADESIGN.

The first project presented here is the New Diamond 70. She is to be made of high strength steel with an aluminium alloy superstructure, a four bridges, and with lines which are very tense and with a strong character design. The aim of the designers of in AVADESIGN is to respect the concept on all future models, increasing only measures and bridges, keeping the lines very similar and identifiable series.

The series of 4-Motor Yacht New Diamond will be hyper and Eco-Friendly and very innovative. This Super-Yachts 4 bridges, 70 m. will have the classification “Green Star” certificate and a double class, Rina and Lloyds. The Yacht has low power consumption and reduced emissions, a range for long ocean crossings, at a cruising speed of 16 knots. The hybrid propulsion, uses two diesel and two electric motors coupled to two gas turbines, thus achieving a considerable power, but also energy and cost savings of all respect and low environmental impact.

In recent days, after having made several drafts of the project and after several meetings with members to discuss the details of the study, began the design of the three other models of larger sizes and in the meantime is completing the interior design for 70 m, particularly for fittings and furnishings, with the choice of materials and finishes.

The New Diamond 70m. is characterized by a design that shows a strong personality, a very clear cut lines and strict, these details, even appreciated by an owner interested in the Russian project, which has contacted us after the last show in Monaco.

The 70m New Diamond Superyacht Design Project - From Above

The energetic and muscular design make this boat a jewel of modern luxury yacht.

The peculiarity of this yacht are many: Inverted bow with two garages hidden for tender flush with the floor, a swimming pool, two Spa Pools in a triangular sun deck with bar and roof of the cabin has room on the fly opening with adjustable sections made with solar panels.   But the strength of the project but can be detected especially in the stern of the yacht, in fact the hatch opening and sliding on the sofas upstairs is made with a particular and special thick transparent resin, which may be necessary obscured by electrified liquid crystal placed inside, creating a shaded area if necessary also on the Main Deck.

At the center of the floor is glazed with a building with a spa pool support with waterfall made of glass and metal structure and connected to the pool below the floor of the main deck is equipped with two sofas on the floor of glass, as well as armchairs and deck around the Spa Pool, relaxing outdoors.

For guests on the main deck the yacht has four cabins, a VIP two doubles and one twin bridges connected by stairs and elevator, a master suite of nearly 60 square meters. Fly on the concluding night for a total of 10/12 beds for guests.

With a streamlined coupé-like profile and sinuous lines Gran Turismo 70m revolutionises the concept of exterior/interior to create a unique and sophisticated leitmotif. The association of the refined contrast of the hull colour, in steel grey and charcoal details, with the minimal windows emphasizes the sleek flowing design and accentuates it longitudinally. The charcoal-colour skylounge, where the wheelhouse is placed, seems set back so as not to interfere with the slender line and let the characteristic ISA arch connecting all the decks take center stage. As for the exterior layout, versatility is the name of the game like demonstrates the area forward of the owner cabin which can be both private and open to guests. This area includes an infinity pool connected to the owner cabin through a lit up path for a great scenic effect. A touch and go platform can also be provided.
