Why Own a Yacht?

First things first, why should you own a yacht in GTA Online? There are several reasons to invest in this luxurious vessel. Firstly, depending on your budget, your yacht might come with a helicopter, which can be called for a small cost. It also comes with some watercraft, such as jet skis and power boats. Additionally, there’s a bedroom for you to spawn in, which comes in handy if you have businesses near the southwestern coast or you want quicker access to the Los Santos airport. Another excellent benefit of owning a yacht is that it comes with an anti-griefer defense system, which gives you a safe haven. It also provides access to exclusive missions, which are designed for beginners and can be done solo. And of course, owning a yacht is a great way to show off your wealth and success in the game.

Which Yacht Should You Choose?

In GTA Online, there are three types of yachts to choose from: The Orion, The Pisces, and The Aquarius. The Orion is the cheapest at 6 million, the Pisces costs 7 million, and the Aquarius is the most expensive at 8 million. The Pisces, in our opinion, is the best deal as it comes with better watercraft and a better helicopter than the Orion. However, if you are a fan of jet skis and don’t mind the extra cost, The Aquarius is the way to go. Once you have decided which yacht to buy, you can customize it with aesthetic upgrades such as gold fittings, lighting, and a paint job. You can also choose your own flag and name for the yacht.

How to Buy a Yacht in GTA Online

To buy a yacht in GTA Online, you need to open your phone, head to the internet, then to vehicles and transportation. Click the “Galaxy Super Yacht” banner, pick your yacht, and set your options. Then click “Buy Now,” and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact. Once you get the notification, head back out to the free roam lobby to get another notification about your chopper (if your yacht comes with one).

What Can You Do With Your Yacht?

Besides having a helicopter, watercraft, and a bedroom, there are other things you can do with your yacht. For example, you can move the yacht around the coastline, though you can’t actually drive the yacht itself sadly. Additionally, you can call in your helicopter by going to contacts, toggling down to the captain, and requesting a helicopter. The yacht also comes with some defenses, but keep in mind that if someone swims to your yacht, the defense system won’t target them. Finally, you can start yacht missions, which can be a great way to earn money.

Yacht Missions

Yacht missions are missions that you can start once you have the yacht. There are six missions in total, and they can take between eight and twenty minutes each to complete. Additionally, the missions can typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each. However, keep in mind that it can take a while to break even, as you need to complete a minimum of 200 missions to break even with the cheapest yacht.

Owning a yacht in GTA Online can be a great way to show off your wealth and success in the game. However, keep in mind that it can be a long and expensive process to get your money back from the investment. concert updates from rockstar for gta online there’s no shortage of new content and interesting things to do join me then as we look at the luxury yachts in gta 5 online before we dive in if you’re new to the channel we do how-to guides news and giveaways so consider subscribing and ring the bell to stop today so first things first why on earth would you want a yacht well there’s a few core reasons the luxury heli so depending on your budget your new yacht might come with a helicopter which can be called for a small cost they have a very specific spawn point so they’re not quite as convenient as a sparrow or the oppressor but they’re still very nice some watercraft so that’s a few jet skis and a lovely power boat all of which are stationed off the back of the yacht an additional spawn point so unsurprisingly the yachts have a bedroom so you can spawn in and this can be handy if you have businesses near the southwestern coast or you want quicker access to the los santos airport anti-griefer measures so the yacht comes with a neat defense system that gives you a safe haven it has a couple of caveats but it’s a great way to deal with vehicle-based idiots access to exclusive missions the yacht gives you access to facility specific missions they’re designed for noobs and can be done completely solo and of course it’s a hell of a flex i mean it’s a nice facility to have and one of the most expensive things you can buy in the game so it is a cracking way to show off right we have three different options to choose from with the yachts starting with the orion at 6 million which is a 210 footer and it comes with a single helipad a small two-person canopy runabout and a jet ski the pisces at seven million dollars also a 210 footer but this one comes with two helipads a swift deluxe helicopter the big car speeder which is arguably the best boat in the game a dinghy and two jet skis and a hot tub and finally the aquarius at eight million even now this is the same size and birth as the other yachts 210 feet and has two helipads a hot tub and a dinghy the same as the pisces but comes with the super volito carbon and the toro as well as four jet skis so i’ve gone for the aquarius here but only because it was on super special if i was paying full price the pisces at seven million dollars is a better buy in my opinion the speedboat and their helicopter that come with the pisces are much better and really how often are you using four jet skis at the same damn time next up is the trim chrome is included but you can step it up with gold fittings for an additional seven hundred and fifty 000 lighting and color scheme next now again there is a free option but you can pick from the eight available which will set you back anywhere up to 600 grand sticking with the aesthetics the paint job is next starting with the white paint job and grey trim included and with 12 options ranging in price up to 650 000 and the final option is your flag and yacht name both of which are included in the original price so your minimum out of pocket on this one is six million which gets you the base model yet and nothing else if you have around 8 million to spend though the pisces with a few aesthetic upgrades would be the go right once you’ve decided on your model find somewhere safe open your phone and head to the internet then to vehicles and transport docts and click the galaxy super yacht banner pick your yacht and set your options click buy now and you will immediately receive a notification and a new contact close out of the internet by hitting the x up the top right and you’ll see a new notification with the yacht icon top left as well as a new message from the captain of your new vessel after that you can head back out to the free roam lobby and you’ll get yet another notification this time about your chopper if your yacht comes with one and i’ll cover how to call that in in a bit right so once you’re ready head over to your new yacht and take a look around and after you’ve had a bit of an explore head to the helmets where the captain hangs out and into the yellow marker to start yacht missions there are six missions in total and depending on your skill with a chopper a boat and a firearm they’ll take you between eight and twenty minutes each to complete and typically pay between twenty and thirty thousand dollars each which means an absolute minimum of 200 missions or 27 hours to break even if you go for the absolute cheapest option and get the maximum payout every time honestly though it’ll be more like 300 missions and 75 hours of grinding at maximum difficulty to get your money back so great flex rubbish investment you do get this sweet captain’s outfit though which is nice oh and there’s a few additional things you can do with the yacht which can come in handy too firstly if you’ve gone for the pisces or aquarius you can call in your helicopter and to do this open your phone and go to contacts toggle down to the captain and give him a call once he picks up select request helicopter which will set you back a thousand dollars now this is a little old school so the chopper will spawn in in one of a few dozen places around the map which was great back in the day but it is pretty inconvenient if you’re used to a sparrow or a mark 2 oppressor but anyway once it’s spawned in you’ll see a new chopper icon on the map head on over and you’re good to go while we’re on the captain’s phone you may have also noticed a few other options you can use this same menu to call in your premium boat which will again spawn somewhere up the coast oh and you can also request a personal vehicle or your next job too should you feel so inclined the next thing you can do is move the yacht around the coastline now again this is a little old school so you can’t actually drive the damn thing sadly it’s not the kasaka but you can have the yacht quick travel to different locations in the lobby or be it at a particularly ouchy cost of 25 grand a throw to do this head to the helm on your yacht and stand next to the captain to trigger a button prompt in the top left of the screen click the button noted and bring up the location menu then you can cycle through the locations until you’ve found the one you’re after your defenses and management is next now to access these you can be anywhere on the yacht or anywhere outside in the free roam map head to the interaction menu that’s m on your keyboard the double squares on your xbox or swipe for your playstation scroll down to services and galaxy super yacht from there there’s a few things you can do to skipping the defenses for a moment we can set up who has access to the boats jet skis and the chopper if you have one we can also change who can access the yacht itself and we can set the type of clothing that people wear in the hot tub if yacht has one finally let’s scroll back up to defenses when these are on and don’t forget to set your exclusions but when these are on any player in the free roam lobby in a vehicle will be targeted by the defense systems oh and this also takes care of guided missiles from the casa too but there’s a rub it’s only players in vehicles if someone swims to yacht they won’t be targeted and will be able to board the vessel so it’s great for mark to inject griefers but not so good for people who are just running around being a pain in the backside oh and one more thing with the defenses when they’re on no one can draw a weapon no one it’s great because you can’t have a griefer come in and shoot up the place but it also means you can’t draw and shoot anyone your own self and that’s about it thanks for watching check out the video at the top for another property and business guide or the The inclusion of purchasable yachts in the world of Grand Theft Auto Online was probably one of the biggest features added in since the game launched. By now, most players have far more money than they know what to do with.  Customizable apartments and new guns are wonderful and all, but buying an entire boat is where the game truly shines. Show off your skill and income by sticking it in other people’s faces!

Costs, Functions, and Features

The Yacht is the brand new boat introduced in the recent Executives and Other Criminals Update . The yacht is a full-sized boat with numerous features, a massive bridge, three individual decks, a jacuzzi, and even a helicopter.

Players have a couple of options when speaking with the ship’s captain over the in-game phone, including:

• Helicopter – the player can request a helicopter aboard their yacht, but it will cost them $1000 to have it waiting on the deck.
• Boat – you can also request a boat to be delivered along the shoreline near an anchor point. It will always be a Dinghy, however. This will cost $750.
• Vehicle – Alternatively, you can request your personal vehicle be delivered to the shoreline. This is free of charge.

To gain access to these options, though, you need to purchase the starting yacht for $6,000,000 .

Can You Relocate?

The simple answer to the above question is: yes. The player is fully capable of relocating their brand new super yacht to a variety of unique locations. Such locations (and their individual costs) include:

• Lago Zancudo – $25,000
• North Chumash – $25,000
• Pacific Bluffs – $25,000
• Vespucci Beach – $25,000
• Los Santos International Airport – $25,000
• Terminal – $25,000
• Palomino Highlands – $25,000
• Tatavium Mountains – $25,000
• San Chianski Mountain Range – $25,000
• Mount Gordo – $25,000

Can You Customize?

Again, the answer is yes! You have a couple of options to customize your brand new yacht, each option has a variety of color options to further improve upon the ambient lighting, overall style, and more.

For example, you can select your lighting , which changes every single bulb on the boat to a specific color of your choosing. This works best at night, obviously.

Next, the player can choose their fittings, which include the handrails and whatnot along the yacht. Gold seems to be a personal favorite of many players, though it does add an extra $750,000 onto the cost.

Also, you are fully capable of changing the flag and the name of the flag flying on your yacht. The flags are all of a variety of countries, so yours will probably be there, too.

Lastly, you can select the overall color scheme of the entire boat, making it stand apart from your friend who decided to cramp your style and buy the same thing with their money. There are quite a few options, though white appears to be the most popular as of right now. That should change soon, thankfully.

Is There More Than One?

There are currently three purchasable yachts for the player to spend their hard-earned in-game money on. These include The Orion, The Pisces, and The Aquarius. Each one has its own increasing cost and very specific features and amenities.

• Costs $6,00,000

• Large sun deck
• Shitzu Tropic
• Speedophile Seashark

The Pisces:

• Costs $7,000,000
• Buckingham Swift Deluxe

GTA Online Yacht Missions And Payouts

GTA Online offers a wide variety of mission chains and quests, providing players with the opportunity to earn substantial rewards. Among these missions are the Yacht missions, which are part of the "A Superyacht Life series" and become available after purchasing a Yacht. 

To assist you in completing these missions and obtaining the associated rewards, we have provided a comprehensive breakdown below. We will outline the specifics of each Yacht mission, explain the payout structure, and reveal the rewards you can expect upon completion.

GTA Online - All Yacht Missions

As part of the Los Santos Summer Special update in Grand Theft Auto Online, players can engage in a series of six missions called " A Superyacht Life. " These missions are assigned by Brendan Darcy, the captain of the player's Galaxy Super Yacht, and can be played by a group of 1 to 4 players.

Below are the descriptions of all six of these Yacht missions in GTA Online:

Mission 1: Overboard

Captain Darcy alerts the player that the yacht's jetskis and important documents, which establish both the Captain and the player as permanent residents of international waters, have been stolen. The player is instructed to proceed to the Vespucci Canals, where the joyriders were last spotted. Eliminating the thieves in this area can be challenging, but it offers decent cover and strategic shooting positions.

The Captain reveals that the culprits are members of the Puerto Del Sol yacht club, prompting the player to seek revenge. The next objective is to head to the yacht club and sink the 10 boats docked there. Time is of the essence, as a boat may attempt to escape. Sink them all, and the mission will be completed.

Mission 2: Salvage

Brendan Darcy informs the player about a distress call from a sunken supply ship nearby. They are directed to a dredge barge to collect the sunken cargo around the wrecked Olifantus ship. 

After retrieving the cargo, the player returns to find the yacht invaded by the Kkangpae. They eliminate the hijackers and receive a call from Brendan, who reveals he and the bartender have been taken hostage. The player rescues them while fending off attackers and returns to the yacht.

Mission 3: All Hands

Brendan alerts the player about a problematic business deal at the Pacific Country Club. They must steal firefighting planes from LSIA to extinguish cars set on fire by club members. Guards at the airport trigger a 2-star wanted level until the Tula is acquired.

After refueling in the air and receiving a threatening text message, the player heads to the country club. They extinguish burning vehicles while fending off Kkangpae attacks. There's a 5-minute time limit for each task. Brendan mentions additional fires at the Pipeline Inn. Returning the Tula to the yacht concludes the mission. Failing restarts at the LSIA hangar without enemies.

Mission 4: Icebreaker

Brendan Darcy devises a revenge plan against the Kkangpae for kidnapping him. The player destroys air-conditioning units at the Fridgit Cold Storage warehouse and steals the prepared product. 

The player must deliver the goods while fending off Kkangpae attacks. The mission ends when the player reaches the buyer in an alley behind the Hedera Hotel in Del Perro.

Mission 5: Bon Voyage

The mission starts with a stormy setting as the yacht's systems fail. Enemies attack from different directions, including onboard, in Dinghies, and from Buzzards. Brendan reveals that the attackers are the Kkangpae, the gang that previously kidnapped him. 

The player defends the yacht through three waves of enemies. Brendan restores power and requests the player to eliminate remaining foes on foot and in boats. The mission ends after completing this task.

Mission 5: D-Day

Brendan informs the player about the boss of a money laundering outfit staying on a heavily defended yacht. He suggests using a Kraken submersible to sneak past their defenses. The sub is located near a barge, close to the rival yacht's defensive zone patrolled by Dinghies.

While operating the sub, the player must stay low to avoid detection and navigate through underwater mines. A detection meter shows the player's visibility to the yacht's defenses, while a depth meter indicates their underwater level. Staying at a safe depth of around 275-350ft is crucial. The surrounding area is patrolled by boats, so the player must remain submerged.

Approaching the yacht's vicinity, the player resurfaces and boards the ship, engaging multiple enemies onboard. After eliminating all enemies, the boss tries to escape in a helicopter. The player must give chase, with the helicopter being escorted by two others. Dinghies also join the pursuit. The escort helicopters have gunners armed with RPGs. The target helicopter's health is displayed on-screen. Once the helicopter is destroyed and the boss is killed, Brendan suggests collecting the bounty on the boss's head, concluding the mission.

GTA Online - Yacht Missions Payouts

Currently, we don't have an exact number for the payout of each of these missions, since they depend on other factors such as the rank you play at and the amount of time the mission takes. However, we can say that the payout will be around the $38,000 mark (adjusting for the 25% increase thanks to the recent update), as after they are all complete, players will earn the Captain's Outfit as a souvenir.

The Best Yacht To Buy In GTA Online

There is a small fleet of yachts to buy in GTA Online but one is more worth your money than the others.

There is perhaps not a clearer sign of wealth in GTA Online than owning a yacht. As in real life, a yacht is the ultimate flex of luxury in the world of Los Santos. When Rockstar Games introduced the Galaxy Super Yacht fleet, they released three different yachts for players to purchase. All three of these gigantic boats are well worth your hard-earned GTA cash, as they all boast amenities as far as the eye can see. The main differences in the yachts lie in their price and how many features they have. However, as you'll see, those features don't drift too far apart from yacht to yacht.

Since the yachts start at the sky-high price of $6 million, players have asked if going for the most expensive yacht is actually worth it or if they can get by with the least expensive. It's a similar question that players have asked in regards to cars, jets, and any other property available in the online world of Los Santos. In this guide, we'll be going over all three of the yachts in GTA Online and determining which is the best to buy based on all of the factors.

Kicking us off is The Orion, the least expensive yacht in GTA Online. Of course, the term "least expensive" is used lightly here, as The Orion still costs a whopping $6 million in GTA cash. The Orion, and the other two yachts, are equipped with a 210-foot body and the same basic outside appearance as the two more expensive Galaxy Super Yachts in the game. There's a sun deck on top for sunbathing or throwing parties but no hot tub, unfortunately. Also on the exterior is one single helipad and storage for two vehicles, the Shitzu Tropic and Speedophile Seashark jetski. On the interior, The Orion is equipped with three luxurious guest rooms. Like the rest of the yachts, you can't actually drive The Orion. What you can do is pay your captain to park it somewhere and have it ready for you when you want to come aboard at a certain location. You can also complete six A Superyacht Life missions to reduce your overall operating costs and make some money with your yacht in the process.

The one aspect of The Orion that's truly lacking is that it doesn't spawn with a helicopter and only has one helipad. While not a huge problem, the other two yachts on this list have these aspects over The Orion. If you're in the market for a yacht and can spend $6 million, then you can likely also spend another million for the next yacht on this list. This could make The Orion obsolete unless you're truly strapped for cash.

For one million more than The Orion ($7 million), you can own The Pisces. Compared to The Orion, The Pisces spawns with a helicopter and has two helipads, a hot tub, and space for five vehicles. Those vehicles are the Buckingham Swift (helicopter), Pegassi Speeder, Nagasaki Dinghy, and two Speedophile Seashark jetskis. Aside from the Speeder, the yacht will spawn with all of the aforementioned vehicles, letting you and some friends get to shore or to another location with ease. Having the extra helipad is also nice to either have a friend land on the yacht or to keep a spare in case something happens to your first.

$7 million is considered the sweet spot for the line of Galaxy Super Yachts. You'll see why when we go over the last yacht on this list.

The Aquarius

The big daddy of them all, the Aquarius is the last and most expensive yacht on this list. The final Galaxy Super Yacht of the fleet costs an eye-gouging $8 million. This makes it the most expensive piece of property you can buy in GTA Online by a country mile. The Aquarius has everything The Pisces has, including the two helipads and hot tub, but has room for seven vehicles instead of five. However, those two extra vehicles are two additional Seashark jetskis, which is really only good for if you have half a dozen friends on your yacht at the same time.

The main point of The Aquarius in GTA Online is to flex on other players. Its price point is relatively unwarranted due to the lack of amenities compared to The Pisces. However, if you're a collector of the most luxurious items in Los Santos, The Aquarius needs to be your next purchase.

The verdict

As you might have expected from the descriptions of each yacht, The Pisces is what we consider to be the best Galaxy Super Yacht in GTA Online. It features a great price point and is a huge step up from The Orion at one million dollars more. The Aquarius simply doesn't offer enough compared to The Pisces to warrant it being the best bang for your buck. Unless you truly want to show off your wealth, going with The Pisces is the best option in GTA Online.

GTA Online players earn double in Galaxy Super Yacht missions this week

Participating in A Superyacht Life this week in GTA Online will earn you a tee, and double rewards.

You will earn the Six Figure Tee and double rewards in GTA Online for participating in six yacht-based contact missions.

As part of the GTA Online summer update , Galaxy Super Yacht owners can participate in these missions solo or with up to three other players via online co-op.

The Pisces Yacht is one of the Galaxy Super Yacht properties available in GTA Online.

It has been added to the game as part of the 1.31 Executives and Other Criminals update on December 15, 2015 .

The Pisces Yacht Model

The Kosatka takes design cues from the Russian Kelmar and Delfin Delta-class submarines and the Chinese Type 094 submarines.

Grand Theft Auto Online [ ]

Exterior [ ].

The vessel is a large cylindrical Teardrop hulled submarine with a length exceeding that of the Galaxy Super Yacht [3] . The bow is spherical with a player-selected flag marked in the center, just below the surfaced waterline. A vertical sail (incorrectly referred to in game as a Conning tower [4] ) with horizontal diving planes is located a quarter of the length back from the bow of the vessel. This is marked at the front with a Russian heraldic shield featuring a two-headed-eagle, 1896 , the Russian naval ensign, a five-pointed star and the Ф Cryllic character. The player's flag is repeated on the side of the sail along with a prominent 81 numeric stencil. A light and mast are atop the sail, with the former able to be toggled on or off when submerged.

Immediately aft of the sail, a raised rectangular "hump" extends for approximately one third of the length of the sub. This houses the interior Moon Pool and Guided missile systems. Eight permanently open missile tubes are present in two rows of four. Plating sections on the hull forward of the missile tubes are indicative of the Moon Pool helicopter entrance hatch. Similar underside plating indicates the entry point for the submersible Moon Pool bays. The hump section tapers down to the tail where stabilizing fins and the twin seven-fin propellers can be seen. Inlet valves for the ballast system can be seen under the aft section of the boat.

An access door is at the front of the sail and there are access hatches just forward of the sail and aft of the hump. When submerging and surfacing, a unique dive alarm is heard.

Interior [ ]

The Kosatka's interior layout is very similar to the Ramius , a submarine featured in The Doomsday Heist .

Main Deck [ ]

• Heist Planning Table - Located in the center of the room, it is a large, horizontal touch-screen that relays information and used to initiate and manage The Cayo Perico Heist . Any information displayed on the screen will be visible to other players, but only the owner can access and browse the menus.
• The Sonar Systems (Optional) - Non-interactive station. The Sonar systems are activated/deactivated when piloting the Kosatka, revealing the positions of enemy submarines and hidden caches on the HUD map. They cannot be interacted with when in the interior and cannot be utilized by any players except for the owner.

• Moon Pool (Landing Pad) : The upper level of the Moon Pool, this room contains a helipad that stores the Sparrow (if purchased). The platform is on a lift that raises the stored helicopter through an unseen hatch in the top of the vessel. A ladder in the forward portside provides direct access down to the lower Moon Pool submersible level.
• Security Room: This is a small checkpoint found between a staircase and the Sparrow Landing Pad. It features unusable lockers and closed monitors.

Second Deck [ ]

• Captain's Quarters : Forward section, starboard side. The captains quarters contain an individual bed that facilitates the Kosatka's spawn point and a useable laptop to browse the internet . There is also a wardrobe that allows the owner to change clothes and save outfits.
• Mess : A medium-sized room where food is served to the crew. It contains tables and chairs on one side and the galley on the opposite side. There is a long shelving unit where cans of food and other edibles are kept. It is adjacent to the living areas and leads to stairs to the lower level.

Third Deck [ ]

• If the player purchases the Weapons Workshop upgrade, a bench and wall mount containing various tools and Mark 2 weapons will replace the jail cell, allowing the owner to customize their Mark 2 weapons and resupply specialized ammunition.
• Torpedo Room : 10 torpedoes stored in two racks, each containing four torpedoes and a fifth one on the deck. Six hatches on the front wall, where they would be loaded for launch.
• A second Scuba Station is located port-side of the aft pool.
• Engine Room : A large two-level room where the engine is seen, with two elevated walkways passing above it. A set of stairs provide access to the middle floor and another walkway leads to another room with the ladder that connects it with the upper floor.

Several stairs provide connection between the levels, as well as ladders that allow players to exit the Kosatka through the forward or aft hatches or via the sail at the bridge.

As an enormous submarine, the Kosatka handles relatively poorly due to its sheer size. The Kosatka is difficult to operate or perform evasive maneuvers. However, it has surprisingly good turning capabilities and while it has much slower acceleration, it has a high top speed that allows it to rival the Dinghy , due to its enormous engine and propellers.

The large frame and length of the Kosatka limits most of its presence to open water and will struggle to move in shallow waters and rivers, risking beaching if the submarine attempts to negotiate overly shallow or convoluted shorelines. It is also very hard to dock, requiring the player to step in water unless it is parked, for example, at the Del Perro Pier .

The Kosatka submerges and surfaces in a manner that befits a vessel of its size, and it is unable to descend nor rise at an angle as sharp as the other submersibles in the game, instead rising and descending almost horizontally.

While piloting the boat, there are only two camera views available, a long follow camera, and a First Person/Hood cam view which is positioned immediately on top of the crest on the sail overlooking the bow.

While driving, the player may engage an autopilot function (similar to that used on the Avenger) and leave the helm with the boat remaining in place. This also allows the vessel to remain underwater and avoid most threats, although this limits access for the Sparrow .

The submarine has the same dive depth limit of approximately 500 ft as the other submersible vessels.

When the vessel is destroyed, the player will respawn on land and can request it from Pavel via the Interaction Menu without a cooldown.

Armor/Defense [ ]

The Kosatka is one of the weakest command centers in the game, only able to withstand 21 homing rockets before destruction. Paired with its sluggish mobility and enormous frame, the Kosatka is extremely vulnerable to damage and can be destroyed by enemy aircraft and even other submarines in direct engagements. It is virtually immune to small arms fire and regular bullets.

However, the Kosatka is capable of staying off radar if submerged underwater, allowing it to stay hidden from enemies unless they are in close proximity to the submarine, or own a Sonar System upgrade for their own Kosatka.

It should be noted that due to its nature as a naval vessel, it can be difficult to even reach the Kosatka, allowing the submarine to keep its distance from the mainland and firmly out of range of threats such as the Homing Launcher and RPG . Only vehicles like the Stromberg and the Toreador can reach the submarine and outmaneuver it, so players have to be aware of such threats.

The Kosatka can take the following:

• 21 homing missiles.
• 15 Railgun rounds.
• 3 tank shells.
• 1 flak cannon round from the Anti-Aircraft Trailer .

Weapons [ ]

The Kosatka features three unique on-board weapons:

• Much like the torpedoes fired from the Stromberg; if the Submarine is angled upwards, the torpedoes will fly out of the water and continue travelling in a straight line until they self-destruct or hit something. If the target is locked-on by the Kosatka, the torpedoes will follow their target out of the water as well. However, it is limited to lock on other maritime vehicles, up to 230 meters/754 feet.
• The missiles will detonate upon making contact with water, preventing them from effectively hitting other submersibles such as another Kosatka.
• The weapon requires manual lock-on to effectively fire the missiles at a target, similar to the Anti-Aircraft Trailer with the SAM Launcher installed, and the Chernobog . It takes one second to lock on to a target like most homing missile launchers, and there is a cooldown of about 1.5 seconds between firing a missile and locking on to a target again.
• The periscope has an elevation range between -35 degrees and 85 degrees, able to attack aircraft from almost above the Kosatka and boats/amphibious vehicles positioned nearby. It also has a brighter lens, allowing the operator to clearly see targets during nighttime.
• The projectile's lifetime, range and damage can vary depending on which occupant takes control of the weapon. If it is controlled from the helm, it will last for 7.5 seconds and can travel up to around 418 meters/1,371 feet, while if it is controlled from the periscope station, it will last for 10 seconds and can travel up to around 557 meters/1,827 feet. If the missiles are fired from the periscope station, they will inflict the same amount of damage as the Rocket Launcher , whereas the missiles fired from the helm will deal the same amount as any other homing missile launcher.
• The periscope can lock on to vehicles that have immunity to missile lock-on, such as the Avenger with the Missile lock-on jammer autopilot defense, and select Imani Tech vehicles with the missile lock-on jammer.
• The missiles are visually identical to those launched by the Chernobog .
• The guided missiles are relatively slow and can struggle to keep up with aircraft that have high top speeds. Their top speed is 225 km/h or 139.8 mi/h. They also have a wide turn radius, as it takes 15 seconds to yaw in a full loop. However, on the PC version, the guided missiles have an extremely small turning radius, are very precise, and are quick to turn with a mouse and keyboard, thus giving PC players a significant advantage when using them.
• The missiles have a limited range of 4,000 meters/13,123 feet relative to the submarine before self-destructing, with a warning appearing at 3,500 meters/11,483 feet. However, they have an infinite travel time, allowing the user to stay in the air as long as needed so long as they are kept within range of the controller.
• When the Kosatka is submerged, players cannot launch guided missiles but once launched, the Kosatka can return underwater to stay off radar with the missiles still active in the air.
• The cooldown begins when the missile is destroyed, not when it is launched.
• The guided missiles are destructible and can be shot down and intercepted mid-flight. It can be destroyed by small arms fire through means such as the minigun .
• The blast radius is decently large but the damage is equivalent to two RPGs , making it rather ineffective against heavily armored threats such as the Insurgent or the TM-02 Khanjali .
• Exiting from the missile camera will cause it to immediately self-destruct mid-air, allowing it to potentially destroy or kill anything within its blast radius.
• The guided missiles will detonate upon making contact with water, preventing them from effectively hitting other submersibles such as another submerged Kosatka.

• The Moon Pool levels allow limited customization of the Sparrow , and functions as a Weaponized Vehicle Workshop .

The minimum base cost is $2,200,000 and for every non-default aspect, the price is increased, up to $9,085,000.

The player can modify the vehicle options at any time by re-visiting Warstock Cache & Carry and re-specifying the customization options, but will not receive any credit for previously paid for options.

Special Variants [ ]

• A duplicate prop model can be seen during the Cayo Perico Heist finale should the player choose it as the approach/getaway vehicle. This version is different from the drivable version in that it has no equipment or light on the sail, closed missile tubes, no railings around the tubes, and no flags marked around (albeit using the current colour scheme of the drivable version). It also has two circular lamps on the front end.

• The Cayo Perico Heist and associated setup jobs. Can be selected as the approach vehicle for the finale , provided the player completes the preparation mission " Kosatka ".
• A Kosatka owned by Merryweather Security is used to for intel gathering for Tony McTony 's Kosatka infiltration planning during The McTony Robbery .

Locations [ ]

• Available for purchase on Warstock Cache & Carry from $2,200,000 - $9,085,000 (depending on customization options) after the player has met Miguel Madrazo at The Music Locker . It can be requested through the Interaction Menu , and will spawn on specific points of the Pacific Ocean , near the player's current location.
• As of the Los Santos Tuners update, players can request it again while being active, allowing for easier relocations (though still subject to the 2-minute cooldown).
• Similar to most interiors, the Kosatka's interior is located near the Vinewood Racetrack . Entering a new session with an active Personal Vehicle and the Kosatka set as the spawn point simply parks the vehicle on this racetrack.
• Similarly, despite not being able to exit it like normal vehicles, the Kosatka is coded to give scuba gear, similar to the Dinghy and the small submersibles. This results in the player frequently wearing a mask after driving it.
• Unlike the torpedoes depicted in the forward storage room, the projectiles simply use standard RPG models and clip through the bow where the exit ports are supposed to be. [5]
• Despite the default flag for the Kosatka being designated as the flag for The Russian Imperial Navy, it is actually the design of The Scottish Flag. In reality, The Russian Imperial Navy's flag has the colors reversed.

Bugs/Glitches [ ]

• It also tends to overlap with a Galaxy Super Yacht before being relocated to where it is supposed to be.
• The Kosatka may incorrectly spawn on land if the player chooses it as a spawn location to enter a session. It may even become stuck in a building, destroying it in the end [7] .
• Rarely, an NPC might appear halfway clipped into the Kosatka's sail. This NPC is invincible and fully passive but will still react to being threatened by a weapon and gunfire.
• Under certain circumstances, shadows of foliage can sometimes be seen inside the Moon Pool. [8]
• This can also be avoided by entering the Kosatka with any of the vehicles stored in its interior, as the vehicles do not need to make physical contact with the Kosatka's hull. This also fixes the Kosatka's erratic behaviour upon exiting it.
• It is possible to have another large vehicle ( Mobile Operations Center , Avenger or Terrorbyte ) while having the Kosatka active, by retrieving one of the vehicles from their respective properties directly rather than using the Interaction Menu .
• Sometimes, the control panels of the vessel and the missile station will become brighter than usual, possibly a lighting issue. This is easily fixed by either using one of the corresponding seats or leaving the sub and entering again.
• When on the surface, a large square portion of water will become static and will not react with the environment (i.e. remaining calm even in stormy weather).
• Rarely, taking control of the Kosatka immediately after using the quick travel functionality will result in the submarine moving by itself at higher speeds than usual and not responding to the steering controls. While the player can still control the depth of the vessel, it may have a heavily delayed response upon gaining vertical speed, risking the player reaching the crush depth and being wasted in the process.

Without question, the arrival of Grand Theft Auto VI will be the biggest video game release of the last decade, well, at least since GTA V .

Following months of rumours and leaks, Rockstar Games finally released the first official trailer for GTA VI in December 2023, and it did not disappoint. The GTA VI trailer uploaded to the Rockstar Games YouTube channel has been smashing records and at the time of writing it has garnered over 181 million views in just three months. However, that number's growth has understandably dwindled in recent weeks.

Before its official trailer reveal, an alleged son of a developer leaked gameplay footage for GTA VI which of course didn't sit well with Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive . Hopefully, despite the shenanigans of the son, that father is still employed by Rockstar Games and if so, I’m sure he’ll be more careful where he leaves sensitive data. Speaking of which, another leak is making the rounds across social media and this time, it’s a strip club from one of GTA VI’s locations, the returning Vice City.

Please keep in mind that by the time you read this article, the GTA VI stripper club footage in question may have been removed from the Twitter account belonging to Dead__Light69 .

It’s also worth noting that this leaked gameplay footage is taken from a very early build; meaning that a lot of textures and animations have not been tweaked or implemented. So the final build will look much better, for sure.

Grand Theft Auto VI does not have a solid release date at the time of writing but we do know that it will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
