Motor yacht C-DAZE is a 26.76 m (87' 10") Sanlorenzo 88 featuring ample exterior deck spaces perfect for sun filled charter vacations. Eight guests can be accommodated in four luxury suites with a crew of four on board throughout.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF C-DAZE: ~Flybridge design ~Contemporary stylish furnishings ~Choice of al fresco entertainment space ~Exciting water toys ~At anchor and underway stabilisers ~Air conditioning ~WiFi

EXTERIOR The stylish sun deck is configured with a long dining table under the louvred hard roof which can be opened or closed for full sun or shade. One side of the table provides cushioned bench seating while the other has moveable chairs. The aft space is open and set up with 2 long, low sofas, one on each side and the shade can be extended by a soft bimini.

There is an alternative al fresco dining setting on the main deck aft which benefits from direct access from the main salon. There is a long sofa, flexible table and moveable chairs and the area is shaded by the flybridge overhang. Steps lead down to the swim platform which can be further extended by an inflatable dock from where the tender and jet skis can be launched.

On the foredeck a bow lounge is a lovely space for dinner or pre-dinner drinks and has u-shaped sofa around a flexible table. Another soft bimini can shade the space is necessary.

C-DAZE Specifications

INTERIOR The contemporary interior has warm wooden flooring covered in plush rugs, huge windows and lots of comfortable furniture with neutral upholstery. There is a formal lounge space aft and a cosier TV lounge forward.

The guest accommodation is on the lower deck.

The light and spacious staterooms are configured as one master, one VIP and two twins all with the luxury and privacy of ensuite bathroom facilities. The neutral décor and tiled bathrooms create quiet havens for guests while on board and have plenty of storage and porthole windows.

Co-Captain / Manager | Shane Taylor | South African BIO: Captain Shane has dedicated decades of his life to his greatest passion of the ocean and has proven himself as an outstanding captain, chartering all over the globe on various types of vessels. Shane was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and began his career as a sail yachts captain, delivering yachts transatlantic. His maritime education was chartering yachts of all sizes in the Caribbean and eventually ventured to the Mediterranean where he discovered an unleashed potential on larger motor yachts. His yachting career portfolio now consists of an in-depth knowledge of the US East Coast, The Bahamas and Caribbean, Mediterranean and Southeast Asia. Besides being a competent and proficient seafarer, Shane is also a divemaster, watersports instructor and mixologist. Shane provides a comfortable, exciting but also safe environment on board which keeps his guests wanting to return to whichever vessel he captains. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Coast Guard resumes search for missing man Jeffrey Kale after boat was found off NC coast

The United States Coast Guard announced Tuesday it has resumed its search for missing boater off the coast of North Carolina after suspending the search on Monday.

Jeffrey Kale , 47, from Clover, South Carolina , was last seen around 4 p.m. Saturday aboard a white 32-foot Cape Horn center-console boat departing the Southport Wildlife Boat Ramp, according to the Coast Guard.

The Coast Guard said the search resumed after a good Samaritan located a vessel matching the description of the boat Kale was aboard. This was located nearly 83 miles east of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina according to the Oak Island police.

"Coast Guard Sector North Carolina issued an urgent marine information bulletin to mariners in the area, requesting assistance locating Kale," the Coast Guard said in a news release Tuesday. "Multiple U.S. Navy ships in the area responded to the urgent marine information bulletin and are assisting the Coast Guard in the search."

The Coast Guard said the vessel had fishing gear engaged and was moving northeast at about six miles per hour. There was nobody aboard and no visible damage to the vessel. A commercial towing company will retrieve the vessel and tow it to shore, according to the news release.

Search for Jeffrey Kale was previously suspended

Coast Guard Sector North Carolina watchstanders received a notification from Kale's family stating he was overdue from a fishing trip around 10:30 p.m. Saturday and the Coast Guard began its search Sunday between Blackjack and Steeples, North Carolina.

After searching for approximately 72 combined hours and covering over 7,000 square miles, the Coast Guard announced Monday it had suspended its search for Kale.

“It is with heavy hearts that we suspend our active search for Mr. Kale,” said Cmdr. Corrie Sergent, Sector North Carolina deputy commander, in a news release Monday. “Our extensive search by air and sea with numerous crews, assets, and several good Samaritans, saturated the various areas we believed he may be."

8 family members die in Mozambique’s latest capsizing, a week after another killed nearly 100 people

HARARE, Zimbabwe (AP) — At least eight people from one family have died after their homemade boat sank in central Mozambique, state media reported Tuesday.

Monday’s sinking on a tributary of the Zambezi River in Sofala province came days after nearly 100 people, many of them children, died in one of the country’s worst shipwrecks.

State-run Radio Mozambique said two people survived Tuesday and two were missing, citing Nobre dos Santos, administrator of the district where the latest sinking occurred.

The southern African country’s public broadcaster attributed the accident to “excess weight and bad weather.”

Many areas of Mozambique, a gas-rich country that is among the world’s poorest nations, are accessible only by boats, which are often overcrowded.

President Filipe Nyusi last week declared three days of mourning after the April 8 disaster, when a ferry overcrowded with residents reportedly fleeing a feared cholera outbreak capsized off Mozambique’s northern coast, killing at least 98 people.
