The interior design is masterminded by Bannenberg & Rowell Design, accommodating 14 guests and a crew of 18.

She was built by Lürssen in their German shipyard. She features five exterior decks, a foredeck helipad, and a sundeck jacuzzi.

The beach club offers an effortless indoor-outdoor entertainment experience that is a stylish addition to the yacht.

The main deck has space for an alfresco lounge and dining area in the sunshine, with a half deck that is shaded by the upper deck overhang.

Her interior design is timeless, with beautiful furnishing and seating that make guests want to sink in and relax.

The yacht interior exudes an elegant yet comfortable atmosphere. This design makes her an ideal yacht for socializing and entertaining with friends and family.

She is also equipped with high-tech audio-visual equipment.

The exterior design of the AVANTAGE yacht is designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. She has a white hull of steel, aluminum superstructure, and teak decks. Her exterior exudes a modern, stylish, and sleek appearance.

There are open deck spaces, long and elegant lines, and a large foredeck with the yachts emblem.

She is equipped with a Compass Tenders Limo Tender, amongst other luxury water toys that make her a fun and entertaining yachting experience. She has a yearly running cost of $15-$20 million.

Specifications

The AVANTAGE yacht has a gross tonnage of 2950 GT, which is 473.14 GT above average for her class. She is powered by her two MTU diesel engines.

She is in the top 5% of LOA in the world with a length of 87m(285.4ft), a draft of 4m(13.1ft), and a beam is 13.8m(45.3ft), AVANTAGE has a max speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

She has a 4.500 nautical mile range. She is built to Lloyds register 100 A1 classification society rules and is equipped with an Underway and an at anchor stabilization system.

This reduces the rolling motion effect at seas, resulting in a smoother and more enjoyable cruising experience underway.

Feadship Unveils New 87m Superyacht Concept in Collaboration with Harrison Eidsgaard

Leading Dutch shipyard Feadship, and esteemed London-based design studio Harrison Eidsgaard, have unveiled a brand new ‘radical but logical’ 87m superyacht concept. Named EXPV, the 87m concept takes a fresh, yet unconventional approach away from the usual conforms of explorer yacht design.

Developed for superyacht owners wanting to explore the world in privacy, luxury and the utmost comfort, 87m EXPV is an outstanding new concept from the drawing boards of two icons of the superyacht industry. 

Previously working together on 77.7m motor yacht TANGO, alongside several other projects over the past 17 years, shipyard giant Feadship and design studio Harrison Eidsgaard have come together once again to create the magnificent concept that is EXPV.

In a, ‘radical departure from the norm’, the 87m concept presents an array of unique additions and innovative features not often seen on large yachts or explorer vessels. 

A notable example of this onboard EXPV is the distinctive ‘split’ superstructure in the owner’s private space forward, and the guest area aft, completely separating the guest and owner quarters to offer the greatest level of privacy. The team revealed that inspiration for the guest accommodation came from the layout seen onboard cruise ships, whereby the most wanted suites are facing outwards. On EXPV, there are six guest suites arranged around the stern on two deck levels, all with private terraces and beds facing out to sea: a completely new layout solution never seen before on a superyacht. 

Similarly to the private nature of the accommodation, the two deckhouses feature separate staircases and elevators, but are also connected by an incredible floating Glass Bridge and an ‘Ocean Lounge’. 

Co-Founder & Partner of Harrison Eidsgaard, Peder Eidsgaard, commented on the new, cutting-edge concept: ‘this is a yacht designed for experienced owners who like to spend long periods on board with guests who might join them for a week, a month or even more, so privacy was an essential consideration...the whole concept is based on the premise that the owners have their own residence and there is a separate guest house for friends and visitors. The idea is that the owners can spend weeks on board in full privacy, but also interact with their guests in the Ocean Lounge in the middle of the boat.'

The unique ‘Ocean Lounge’ of EXPV is essentially a grand beach club. Located on the lower deck amidships, with folding, hydraulic platforms on both sides, the lounge boasts a luxurious indoor swimming pool, a large skylight, and sliding glass doors. 

The glass doesn't stop there. Guests onboard EXPV can see straight through from the stern of the yacht all the way to the bow: a remarkable yet stunning addition to the 87m’s design, showcasing its unreserved adornment in glass.

‘We’ve collaborated with Harrison Eidsgaard on various projects and they always throw a few challenges into the mix,’ shared Jan-Bart Verkuyl, Feadship Director and CEO of Royal Van Lent shipyard. ‘The Glass Bridge was one such challenge and we worked closely with the De Voogt engineers to see how we could make that work. Suspended in mid-air, it’s a completely new idea and quite a feat of engineering.’

  Other features onboard EXPV include an owner’s office, located behind the wheelhouse, with a private full-beam master suite on the deck below; an owner’s observation lounge with full-height windows and a private terrace overlooking the foredeck; as well as a heli-deck above the observation lounge with direct access to the owner’s apartment. 

Another unmissable feature of the new concept is the substantial mast on top of the aft deckhouse. A ‘crow’s nest’, explained to be a two-person pod, has been integrated into the structure, allowing guests to travel to the masthead for incredible views high above the deck.

‘When we started this project, we took all the features you find on superyachts and threw them up in the air,’ explained Eidsgaard. ‘The pieces landed where you might not expect to find them, but where they might make more sense. The two deckhouses are unique and no other superyacht has them, but the profile with its reverse bow, bold use of glass and dynamic curves is very purposeful.’

As a nod to the explorer nature of the concept, large tenders, of 13.5m, are stowed on the open deck above the Ocean Lounge and under the Glass Bridge with no height restrictions. 

The groundbreaking concept is not only groundbreaking in terms of design. Feadship’s technical team worked to create a structurally strong explorer vessel that overcame challenges such as the tender deck amidships with the open-plan Ocean Lounge immediately below, where the engine room would usually be situated. Because of this, a single-level engine room was utilised, with innovative diesel-electric propulsion included: ideally suited to the new arrangement.

With 85m SLICE revealed just weeks ago  at the MYS, Feadship is certainly proving its innovative nature within its latest concepts; and we can’t wait to see what will come next.

Released by Feadship earlier today, a time-lapse video showing the 87m/285ft motor yacht LONIAN going from construction through to delivery is simply breathtaking.

From her beginnings at the Scheepswerf Slob facility in Merwede to the final touches conducted at Feadship’s De Vries facility, the journey of the brand new Feadship superyacht LONIAN has been expertly captured on film.

In the never before seen footage, the viewer is able to obtain a first hand look at the various stages of constructions that led to the completion of what is certain to be an iconic superyacht.

Giving a real sense of her incredible proportions, the film gets up and close and personal to her various spaces, and concludes with some stunning shots of her sleek midnight navy hull.

Enjoying a technical launch in June of 2017, superyacht LONIAN is unquestionably one of the most anticipated yachts from the legendary yard.

With a total of four decks on offer to her owner, it has been reported that she features a helipad, Jacuzzi, swimming pool, and a even a dedicated tender garage to make getting to and from the vessel a complete joy.

The 87-metre superyacht  Ace  was built back in 2012 by the German shipyard  Lürssen  and refitted in 2018. Here, thanks to a recent photoshoot in Barcelona, we get an insight of what the vast and voluminous 2,732 GT yacht looks like inside.

Built for an experienced owner, the  superyacht is now for sale . She has only ever had one owner since new, and has only been privately used.

The yacht’s unique lines and beautiful interiors are a product of  Winch Design , who was the studio behind both her exterior and interior looks.  Winch ‘s state-of-the-art design includes oval balconies and large side-arches, complemented by a timeless, classic interior.

Ace  breaks the conventions of yacht interior layouts to optimise the onboard family living experience. She has a seamless inside to outside transition by way of design, and her upper deck dedicates almost 1,000 square metres to social spaces.

Ace  features accommodation for 10 guests across her six impressive staterooms. She is also capable of carrying up to 30 crew members onboard to ensure a relaxed journey. Although this is her current accommodation layout, builders say it would be possible for a future owner to convert the massage room into a sixth stateroom, which would then provide accommodations for 12 guests.

As well as a helipad, her main deck offers a cinema, gym and guest suites with easy access between them all. The master suite faces aft and offers unobstructed panoramic views with a small aft terrace providing a wind-sheltered area for the owner.

Unique port and starboard private staircases run directly from the owner’s deck all the way to the swim platform. That means the owner has no need to pass through any deck interiors.

The forward area of the dining saloon on the upper deck is a cosy sitting room and library area with a fireplace, piano and games table. This deck also includes a bespoke Russian tea room and nightclub.

Located aft on the lower deck,  Ace  features large tender garage doors for easy water access. She also has another opening in her hull which has the option to be utilised as a tender docking area and a beach-style swimming platform.

Ace  is also known for having travelled with the  recently-sold support vessel,  the 67.15-metre  Garçon . The  Damen -built support vessel was the Dutch shipyard’s first large support vessel and provided  Ace  with tender, crew, provisioning and helicopter support.

The pair of yachts and their crew have also been involved in environmental  clean-up missions in the past. Powered by twin MTU 16V 4000 M61R diesel engines,  Ace  can cruise comfortably at 12 knots and reaches a top speed of 17 knots.

First Look: Video Tour Inside 87m Lürssen Motor Yacht Ace With Andrew Winch

The 87 metre Lürssen superyacht Ace has been revealed in full for the first time in a video captured by her crew.

Sourced exclusively for BOAT International and making its debut at the Virtual BOAT Show , the video takes a virtual tour around the vessel with guidance from Andrew Winch, whose design studio was responsible for her exterior and interior design.

The 87 metre helicopter-capable superyacht  Ace  left the Lürssen shipyard in 2012 an instant celebrity owing to her distinctive exterior featuring large arches, glass balconies and dual-tone paint finish. Winch Design, who came up with her standout exterior, also created the detailed interior that melds epoque pieces and fine craftsmanship with contemporary comforts.

Built for the utmost relaxation, Ace features one of the most comprehensive wellness areas seen in a superyacht with sauna, massage and shower room and a large Roman-style marble bath, complete with columns, all easily accessed from the beach club.

The exterior decks feature a large freshwater pool and another Jacuzzi, all perfectly private. The guest cabins, all on main deck, have easy access to the gym, a hair salon and a movie theatre. Beyond the gleaming engine room, a garage holds large tenders and toys.

Currently listed for sale with Eastwind Yachts , Ace is asking €145,000,000. She is offered for sale alongside her Damen support vessel Garçon .

Europe’s tallest building – the twisty 87-storey Lakhta Centre in Russia nears completion

EUROPE'S tallest skyscraper is nearing completion and it makes London's towering Shard look a bit like a bungalow.

At a mighty 1,516 feet (462 metres) the 87-storey twisty Lakhta Centre clinches the title of the tallest building on the continent from Moscow's Federation Tower.

When finished, the new needle-shaped construction in St Petersburg - which includes a 2,000-seater amphitheatre - will be the 13th tallest building in the world.

More than 20,000 workers from 18 different countries have been involved in the building of the high-rise edifice.

Residential and commercial spaces will fill the building up to 1,181 feet (360 metres) with a view point and restaurant at the top.

The building’s facia is made from 16,500 individual panes of glass which have all been fitted with automatic shutters to cut heat loss.

The huge building's exterior is set to be completed by the end of summer, while the interior fitting will be finished sometime later next year.

It will serve as the headquarters for Russian gas giant Gazprom who plan to move in by the end of 2019.

Architect Philip Nikandrov told CNN: "The HQ will occupy around one third of the total area, with another third reserved for public facilities which will include a multi-purpose hall, retail space, medical and fitness centers, and a science museum with a planetarium.
