Nordhavn Yachts

NORDHAVN 63

Nordhavn 63.

The Nordhavn 63 is yet another iteration of one of our most proven hull forms, the  Nordhavn 55 that became one of the most popular and one of the most tested models we’ve produced. We extended the N55 and designed the 60-foot version to meet owners’ demands for increased space.

The 63 is actually an aft wheelhouse version of the N60 and its extended cockpit and boat deck. Looks-wise, however, this model retains the same salty feel that popularized the Nordhavn 62 . For those who love the N62 but have a width restriction at their slip, the N63 may be the perfect choice with its 18-foot beam. One of PAE’s greatest qualities is the ability of our Chief of Design, Jeff Leishman, and his engineering staff to continually conceive, design, evolve and introduce exciting new models.

While the 63 shares the same hull as the N55/60 designs, an entire new deck and engine room mold have been created for it, providing increased interior volume and added amenities.

For instance, just forward of the engine room door on the 55/60 sits the utility room with washer, dryer and freezer. On the 63, this area has been expanded to also include a crew quarters to port with fixed berth and pipe berth at the forward end. Another layout change is the centerline guest stateroom and four large opening port lights, both of which come standard.

Perhaps the greatest attribute of the N63 is realized while stepping through the cockpit door. Not only is this boat incredibly spacious, it exudes luxury. Standard on the 63 is the same raised paneled cherry wood that was ordered on hull #1 of the  Expedition Yachtfisher . And in the galley are (2) 700 Series Subzero refrigerator/freezers, as well as a U-Line freezer in the utility room, providing enough storage for extended traveling.

The main saloon is larger than both the 55 and 60 and offers two wrapping settees for entertaining with the galley on the same level. A unique hatch alcove on the port side of the Portuguese bridge allows light and air below to the galley; it sits just above the GE stainless steel LPG 5 burner cooktop and convection/ microwave oven.  Like all Nordhavns, granite countertops are beautifully crafted from your selection of our latest array of samples.

Two steps below the main salon you will find the master cabin near amidships on the port side. A walkaround bed facing athwart ships with two large ports creates a light and airy feeling in the cabin. The master head is designed to please the first mate. The space and furnishings in all areas are designed to be as welcoming as they are beautiful.

Opposite the master cabin on the starboard side is the day head which is convenient to the main saloon and is complete with shower and opening ports for light and air.

Forward to the bow is the guest cabin which rivals the master cabin with its port lights, a walkaround bed on center line, drawers and cedar lined closets for clothing storage.

A great view all around is provided from the wheel house which is just about the same height as the 55 but aft which gives added protection and that very cool look that has made the 62 such a popular model. A very handy off-watch cabin aft on the same level, keeps crew close to the action if needed and also provides a full head and shower on starboard. Just beyond the pilothouse is the open aft lounge deck with full 360 degree access to the Portuguese bridge. Port and starboard control pods on the Portuguese bridge are an option that can be added amidships for ease in docking.

The 63 is powered by the John Deere 6090AFM w/M2 rating of 225 HP @ 2,200 rpm, which is keel cooled to enable a dry stack exhaust. The transmission is an equally bullet proof ZF ZFW325 with a 4 to 1 reduction gear. The Nordhavn 63 has a fuel capacity of 2,500 gallons contained in four main tanks and one aluminum “day tank” holding 31 gallons which gravity feed from main wing tanks. As with all Nordhavns, the range is approximately 3,000 nm.

The large open foredeck can support a tender as large as 15-1/5′ and it comes standard with a Steelhead ES 1500 telescoping yacht crane with a 1500-lb. safe working load.

Another design cue taken from the N75 EYF is the updated dry stack which trails aft of the radar platform and forms the support for the dual tracking domes atop the pilothouse.

Brochure

Private Island is fresh out of the boatyard in January 2022.

This Classic Motor Yacht has been beautifully maintained, preserved, and upgraded by her attentive, longtime owners of the past 13 years.  She features a gorgeous custom galley, opulent heads, and plenty of space for entertaining or living aboard.   There are many custom touches like solid wood window valances, teak flooring below, and a third stateroom that converts to a queen berth.  Her hull paint is in near perfect condition, and her bottom is flawless.

Over the past several years, Private Island has been a fixture in the Pensacola Yacht Club, primarily used for day cruises and entertaining notable visitors to the Pensacola area.  She has been lightly used, and always very well maintained.

Lamborghini Yacht

The 63-footer, which was named Best Weekend Cruiser in Robb Report ’s Best of the Best earlier this year, carries Lamborghini’s unmistakable DNA and was heavily influenced by the marque’s latest supercars. The sleek styling takes cues from the limited-edition Sián FKP 37 hybrid hypercar, while the twin leather helm seats are like those of a Huracán Evo. Even the instrument panel and steering wheel mirror the Aventador’s. Other similarities include sharp, hexagonal lines, Y-shaped headlights and a supercar-like hard top. The automotive-style helm station also offers a “Corsa” or “Race” mode setting just like a Lambo dash.

Of course, the carbon-fiber speed machine offers a good amount of grunt, too. Powered by a pair of MAN V-12 diesel engines that produce 2,000 hp each, the vessel can reach a top speed of 63 knots and a cruising speed of up to 45 knots. That makes it one of the fastest 63-footers in its class. Burning roughly 100 gallons of fuel per hour, it has a range of about 360 nautical miles.

Inside the Lamborghini 63

Hull number 12, reportedly delivered to MMA star Conor McGregor , was finished in the same verde gea green as the Sián FKP 37. The vessel delivered to Prestige Marine, however, sports a silver hue and was priced closer to the $4 million mark.

The debut of the Lamborghini 63 in South Florida represents an important achievement in the Italian Sea Group’s commercial expansion plan in the US. The Italian yard also recently opened its first flagship store in Long Island’s East Hampton.

The next deliveries of the Lamborghini 63 are due to take place in the first half of 2024, according to Costantino. Stay tuned.

TECNOMAR FOR LAMBORGHINI 63

The Yacht  “ Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 “ is not simply an exercise in style and design but she also represents the avant-guarde of luxury speed boats. Inspired by the performance of Lamborghini supersport cars, there are two innovative elements at the basis of her design concept: speed and dynamic weight. The two engines MAN V 12 – 2000HP allow the yacht to reach the impressive speed of 63 knots, while the use of carbon fiber (a typical element of the cars of Sant’Agata Bolognese) guarantees the classification in the range of ultralight boats with a maximum weight of 24 tons for 63 feet in length.

HATTERAS YACHTS GT63

photo of Hatteras Yachts GT63

The Hatteras GT63 is a classic Carolina-style convertible sportfish accented by an aggressive bow flare and low foredeck, but no one is building this style of tournament-ready in a more modern and innovative fashion other than Hatteras. The new GT-series from Hatteras has caught everyone’s attention with its speed, Hatteras-renown durability, ‘fish-ability’, and interiors that take cues from the motor yacht range. The Hatteras GT63 is both fishing machine and comfortable cruising boat, all while looking classically Carolina-esque.

SPECIFICATIONS

  • Make Hatteras Yachts
  • Model Hatteras Sportfish
  • Length Overall 63' 10
  • Max Draft 5'
  • Displacement 102,000 Lbs.
  • Water Capacity 270 Gal.
  • Fuel Capacity 1,900 Gal.

Building a tough, durable boat that is able to exceed speeds of 40-knots requires ingenuity and innovative techniques that the factory in New Bern, North Carolina prides itself on. The hull is balsa core, except for the bottom which is solid fiberglass. While this does add some weight, it also makes the bottom much stronger than other sportfish in its same size range. The hull above the waterline uses a closed cell foam core with a 60% glass to resin ratio which is vacuum bagged to remove all air from the foam. The result is a stronger, lighter deck and hull which increases durability and performance. Additionally, Hatteras designed the props to fit into a recessed pocket in the hull which run completely back to the transom. Because of this, the GT63 has only a 5-foot draft which is shallower than most other 60-foot sportfish.

The cockpit of the Hatteras GT63 is an angler’s dream with many toys hidden in compartments and drawers. The 173 square foot cockpit has a seemingly endless amount of storage options for rods, gaffs, and tackle all within reach, as well as a drop down remote control station. Other fishing features include an optional transom livewell, Eskimo ice machine, and lots of insulated fishboxes. And no Hatteras sportfish would be complete without the observation mezzanine. Guests on board will enjoy sitting in the shade and air conditioning on the comfortable cushions while watching the action in the cockpit.

The salon and galley are a remarkable living space that is benefited from the GT63’s 20-foot beam and extra wide windows. The L-shaped leather sofa provides a comfortable place for guests to sit and watch the flatscreen television. The U-shaped settee sits around a teak dining table that fits five adults or more if chairs are brought up. This layout combines the living and dining spaces of both rooms wonderfully so no one ever feels left out of the conversation. The galley is beautifully designed and accented with granite countertops and lots of refrigeration, storage, and cooking amenities. Moving forward through this space is the start of the staterooms. The Hatteras GT63 has the option for either three or four staterooms on board with three heads. The master suite has a queen-sized berth with ample storage throughout and its own private head with shower stall. Additional guest staterooms are designed for another queen-sized berth in the VIP or over—under bunks in the other staterooms. There is an additional galley on the lower level as well for the crew quarters.
