Do your charters include a captain?

No. We provide you with a list of pre-approved captains to choose from. We have pre-selected those with the best sailing experience and hospitality skills, destination expertise, and a passion for the region.

Do your boats have a restroom onboard?

The Catamaran does. The Pontoon boats do not. However, your Captain will know of places to stop to use the restroom along your journey. We make every effort to provide you a comfortable and convenient experience for your day on the water.

What is the maximum number of passengers?

The person chartering the boat (you) may bring 12 guests with you for a total of 13 people.

Can we bring food, snacks, or drinks on the boat?

Absolutely. Please use plastic containers for beverages.

Can we bring alcohol on the boat?

Yes. Feel free to bring alcoholic beverages for those over 21.

Where do we go on the charters?

Drop anchor at Crab Island, grab food at a waterfront restaurant, or go island or beach hopping for the day. Browse our trip suggestions here.

Does Crab Island Luxury Adventures provide snorkeling equipment?

No. If you decide to snorkel, you will need to bring your own equipment.

Where do we board the boat?

After you select a Captain, they will be in touch with you the day prior to departure and will provide you with valuable information about your trip including the pick-up location in Santa Rosa Beach.

What is your cancellation policy?

Crab Island Luxury Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any charter due to inclement weather or any other case of inability to provide the tour.
Full refunds in the form of credit are only available with at least 72 hours written advanced notice .
Any necessary cancellations MUST be made in writing and given at least 72 hours prior to the tour, otherwise, the full price will be charged.
Partial or no refunds in the form of a credit will be issued at Crab Island Luxury Adventures’s discretion if less than 72 hours of written notice is given.
Deposits are non-refundable.
No-shows will be charged the full price.

Are there life jackets on the boat?

Yes, there are Coast Guard-required life jackets on our boats. If you have small children, you may want to bring your own life jacket as all children 8 and under are legally required to wear a life jacket while on the boat. The Coast Guard-approved ones may not be the most comfortable for small children.

How much should I tip the captain and crew?

Your crew works very hard to make sure you have an enjoyable and safe experience on the water. A 20% tip is the minimum amount suggested.

The adventure begins when you arrive at the floating Adventure Park, where you will find a plethora of water toys awaiting you.

Explore the natural grass flats on a kayak, glide across the water’s surface on a stand-up paddle board, walk the shoreline looking for seashells, zip across the water on a banana boat ride and enjoy breathtaking views of all of the natural underwater beauty and marine life that the Choctawhatchee Bay has to offer while snorkeling the shoreline.

After your fun-filled stop at the Adventure Park, you’ll return to the boat and enjoy the short boat ride to your second destination: the famous Crab Island sandbar , where you can relax at the area’s most popular aquatic hot spot and float your cares away. Adventure Tour Cancellation Policy:

Guests may cancel at least 48 hours prior to their arrival date and time to receive a full refund minus a 3% cancellation fee. Guests who cancel after the 48 hour period will not be eligible for a refund. If management determines that the weather is unsuitable for water activities, the Crab Island Adventure Tour may be rescheduled for a later time/date or a full refund will be issued. Guest may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it’s outside the 48 hour cancellation period. No-shows will not be refunded. Please plan to arrive 30-45 minutes early to park and check in, so that you do not miss the boat. The boat will depart on schedule.

“Craft beer, chill atmosphere, great location” Review of The Heroes Bar

I have the enviable advantage of living just in front of this bar... I know, how lucky am I? They serve great craft beer and what's amazing is that the food is really top restaurant quality (in other beer-centric bars, the food is usually an afterthought). Really nice atmosphere too, art-laden walls and a few cozy window seats and high stools in the middle of the bar. I don't speak a word of Russian (yet - it's coming along!) but Google Translate is there for the rescue. It's almost always full, so try to go a bit early to grab a seat. You'll be staying the entire night anyway, for sure - the beer's that good. Bonne continuation Geroi!

I love this bar not only for craft beer wide range but also for fantastic food, starters and beer snacks. Menu is not that big but all dishes are decent and proper. Pricing is more than affordable. Good for business lunch and for Friday beer
