The 54m/177'2" motor yacht 'Burkut' by the Italian shipyard Baglietto offers flexible accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins and features interior styling by Italian designer Francesco Paszkowski Design.

Offering an abundance of social and dining options, as well as a highly attentive crew, luxury charters aboard motor yacht Burkut are set to be truly magical whatever the destination. She is equipped with wheelchair accessibility, spa, elevator and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2009, Burkut offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite located on the main deck, two double cabins and two cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. The supremely spacious full beam master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. There are 6 beds in total, including 1 king and 2 queen. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

You and your guests can enjoy a variety of experiences on Burkut such as a piano, perfect for creating a relaxed atmosphere for you and your guests. The yacht's library is a beautiful addition to her range of leisure facilities, and acts as a lovely spot for relaxing or browsing. Revive yourself after an intense workout in the sauna or kick back and relax in the well-appointed spa. Maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym and in addition sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi.

Burkut benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as wheelchair-friendly access, making this vessel suitable for all guests. Effortlessly return to your stateroom from any other deck onboard the elevator or stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications. Take advantage of the on board Wi-Fi and stay connected at all times and in addition you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 91,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Burkut knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with an extensive selection of action packed water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Principle among these are waterslides for hours of fun for all ages. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Burkut also features waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, fishing equipment and much more. When it's time to travel from land to see, it couldn't be easier with a 5.49m/18' Novurania Tender.

Burkut and her crew are available for charter this winter for cruising within the Indian Ocean. She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.

Burkut is an exceptionally luxurious superyacht that was constructed by the Baglietto shipyard in 2009. She was refitted three years later. Francesco Paszkowski, the famous Florence based yacht designer is responsible for both her exterior and her sumptuous interior. Burkut is a tri-deck superyacht that is fitted with an interior elevator. The term “elegance” applies to every single piece and fixture onboard the yacht. She can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins; a full beam master suite, three double cabins and one twin cabin. Burkut can also provide adequate accommodation for a crew of up to 13. With respect to performance, Burkut has a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. BURKUT for sale

BURKUT is a 54m (177.7ft) motor yacht delivered in 2009 by the well know Italian shipyard, Baglietto. Her sleek interior and exterior designs are from the works of Francesco Paszkowski Design. Launched as the fourth yacht of Baglietto’s Steel Hull Full Displacement Series, BURKUT is Lloyd’s classed and MCA compliant.

BURKUT can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in five spacious cabins. Her full beam master cabin is located on the main deck and features a private study, a private lounge with separate day head, port and starboard sea balconies, and a walk through en suite bathroom. Four additional guest cabins can be found on the lower deck consisting of three double cabins and a twin cabin, all with en suite bathrooms.

Spacious exterior decks provide multiple options for entertainment and relaxation for all. Of highlight is the versatile sun deck which features a fitness and wellness center forward, with a jacuzzi and sun loungers aft. A large al fresco dining and entertaining area can be found on the bridge deck aft, while additional exterior lounging is located on the main deck aft.

Powered by twin 2,000hp Caterpillar engines, BURKUT features a cruising speed of 12 knots and a maximum speed of 15 knots, with a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles. Zero speed stabilizers ensure a stable and comfortable cruising experience on board BURKUT.

‘Burkut’ is a 177.17ft  /54m  Custom motor yacht built in 2009 by Baglietto. Francesco Paszkowski has designed her exterior and interior, and the vessel was previously named Berkut.

Burkut’s spacious interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, 4 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. Burkut can sleep up to a maximum of ten guests (twelve cruising) in her luxury five stateroom layout which features a master suite, VIP suite and three guest staterooms. She also fully accommodates for her crew in separate crew quarters ensuring a relaxed and unforgettable charter experience.

Characteristics

BURKUT’s accommodation is of the highest standard, with a lavish master suite featuring two balconies with stunning sea views, a private office and lounge area, and an exquisite bath area located on her main deck. Elsewhere the luxury continues in the form of three double cabins and one twin cabin – all fitted with state-of-the-art en suite bathrooms.

MAIN DECK The main aft deck features an impressive lounge area with stylish and comfortable seating. Double electric doors open into the light and spacious salon which is furnished with two stunning Fendi sofas as well as a further 4 armchairs for ultimate comfort. The retractable TV can be positioned so it can be enjoyed from anywhere in the salon and guests can enjoy dinner at the large formal dining table with luxurious seating for 12. BRIDGE DECK: The bridge deck salon provides another lounge area with a stunning deep seated Fendi sofa and 4 large chairs, an invitation to sit back and watch the latest movies on the 100’ flat-screen TV. For added entertainment, this versatile space offers a games table and a piano around which guests can gather for an intimate singalong. Exterior dining with seating for 10 takes centre stage on the spacious aft deck. There is a large fully equipped bar and plenty of built-in seating making this the perfect space for entertaining. A large glass elevator connects the lower deck to the main and bridge decks. SUNDECK: Expansive views can be enjoyed from the sun loungers and large orbit chairs, and guests can unwind in the Jacuzzi. Forward is the Wellness Centre with gym, spa, hammam and sauna. The gym is home to the latest Technogym fitness equipment including a treadmill, cross trainer, stationary bike, weight bench and a selection of weights. The spa with beauty treatment and massage rooms offers luxury treatments by the on board Therapist.

BURKUT’s top deck is a highlight of the on board experience with a Jacuzzi and ample space for soaking up the sun outside and an enclosed wellness area including a sauna, steam room, massage area and beauty treatment room as well as a fully equipped gym. A glass elevator connects the lower and upper decks. Equipped with zero speed stabilisers for a comfortable cruising experience in all conditions, twin 2,000-hp Caterpillar engines power her to a maximum speed of 17.5 knots, with a range of 4,200 nautical miles travelling at 12 knots.

Accommodation

BURKUT’s versatile cabin arrangement accommodates 10 guests across five spacious and luxurious staterooms comprising a master suite, two double staterooms, a convertible stateroom and twin cabin. The full-beam master suite is located on the main deck and comprises a spacious & private office area with chaise longue, king size bed, and his and hers walk in wardrobes. The large ensuite bathroom features his and hers toilets with bidet, his and hers rain showers and a stand-alone bath to relax in. On the lower deck there are three double staterooms, one of which converts to a twin, and another twin cabin. All staterooms are tastefully decorated and have an abundance of storage space. All are en suite with bidet and extra cupboard space.

A billionaire who is the heir to a massive fortune recently pulled his yacht into Kinsale in the hopes of getting a pint.

Superyacht 'Scout' is anchored outside of the famous Dock pub, inhabiting a lot of the Castlepark Marina, becoming the first superyacht of the summer to visit Cork Harbour, Cork Beo reports.

The 209ft superyacht was made in Holland in 2019 - supposedly commissioned by members of the Heineken family (yes, THAT Heineken) but purchased by American James Berwind in 2020 for close to €80 million.

Up to 10 guests and 14 staff can be accommodated. It is considered one of the coolest yachts in the world. It has amenities such as a fully equipped gym, cinema room, three bars and a large sun deck with a jacuzzi.

Owner James Berwind (believed to be in Kinsale with his beloved Scout, has an interesting story of his own).

The Florida man is an heir to a vast, shared family fortune and with his brothers and sisters, co-owns an international global corporation.

His famous forebears Edward Julius and Charles Frederick Berwind were the founders of the Berwind-White Coal Mining company in America in the 1860s.

This developed into a mining conglomerate that it still privately kept in a family trust today.

It has moved into areas including manufacturing and real estate. The Berwind Corporation's real estate holdings alone are worth an estimated $3 billion.

James Berwind and his long-time partner Kevin Clark have given their lives to philanthropy, with animal welfare and environmentalism to the fore.

His father Charles Graham Berwind was in the coal business and enjoyed polo and yachting.

With a net worth of around €500 million, James Berwind is an architect supporting projects and people involved in environmental and community development worldwide.

He is reported to have made the yacht Scout a "semi-permanent home, to be used to explore the world" along with his long-term partner Kevin Clark. And you might see the man around Kinsale over the coming days, the yacht has dropped in after a visit to Dublin and will be on its way again shortly.
