A luxurious superyacht owned by an heiress to the Walmart empire has sailed from Miami and ended up in a very unlikely location.

The superyacht, named Kaos, owned by Nancy Walton Laurie, one of the wealthiest women in the world and heiress to the Walmart empire, has been seen off the coast of Cornwall , England.

The yacht, which is the 55th largest in the world, was recently in London before making its way to Falmouth.

It is valued at over $302million (£240million) and was built by Oceanco in 2017, the same company responsible for Amazon owner Jeff Bezos's superyacht.

With a length of 110 meters and a weight of 4,523 tons, Kaos was the largest yacht ever built in the Netherlands at the time of its launch in 2017.

Kaos has impressive features, including 16 cabins, a gym, a steam room, an indoor beach club, a cinema, a sauna, and a spa.

It also has amenities such as a swimming pool, aquarium, and helipad.

The yacht's interiors are known for their lavishness, featuring marble and stone elements, custom silk carpets, and high-end materials.

Nancy Walton Laurie inherited a stake in Walmart from her father, Bud Walton.

She, along with her sister Ann Walton Kroenke, became billionaires after receiving Walmart stock when their father passed away in 1995.

In addition to their Walmart holdings, Nancy and her husband Bill own commercial real estate, multiple homes, and two yachts.

They have also made philanthropic contributions, including a $10million donation to the University of Memphis in 2013, which is their alma mater, according to Forbes .

Nancy developed an interest in dance when her daughter was a teenager and served on the board of trustees at Juilliard.

She and her siblings have consistently been listed as some of the wealthiest individuals on the Forbes 400 list.

The Kaos yacht, previously known as Jubilee and Al Menwar, is an award-winning superyacht that recently underwent a complete interior redesign.

The interior, originally designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, was made wheelchair accessible during the refit.

The yacht can accommodate 31 guests in 16 cabins, including a luxurious owner's suite.

Yacht Bible reports that Kaos has a sleek and minimalist design, incorporating curved lines, glass, and metal elements.

The exterior, designed by Lobanov Design, creates optical illusions with its glass fronts and features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, helipad, and extendable swimming platform.

The yacht is equipped with modern lighting and stabilizers and carries tenders and various water toys.

Originally built for the former Emir of Qatar , the yacht was later sold to Nancy Walton Laurie, who renamed it Kaos and had it refitted in 2020.

  • Northern Ireland

Billionaire's superyacht docks in Belfast.

A $65million superyacht owned by an American billionaire has docked in Belfast.

The Scout is owned by John Berwind. It arrived in Belfast, docking just beside the Odyssey after sailing from Dublin.

Built in 2019 in the Netherlands, the vessel is 63metres long, and styled as a "rugged explorer" style yacht.

It has a crew of 11 and can accommodate 14 guests. It has four guest bedrooms as well as an owner's deck. Other features include a helideck, cinema, gym, three bars as well as an expansive sun deck complete with large Jacuzzi.

The yacht was commissioned by the Heineken family, it is reported before being purchased by Berwind.

It is said to cost in the region of £5m a year to run.

Berwind's family established an American mining corporation in Pennsylvania in the 1800s before moving into manufacturing and real estate, pharma, chemicals and plastics.

The company also includes the TASI Group which controls businesses worldwide including Sepha which is based in Dundonald.

Berwind is an architect and understood to be holidaying in Ireland. He reportedly named the yacht after his beloved dog.

He and partner Kevin Clark use it as a semi-permanent base to allow them to explore the world, it has been reported.

They have dedicated their lives to philanthropy, environmentalism and animal welfare.

Recently the US billionaire Nancy Walton's £300m superyacht docked off the coast of Bangor.

World Trade Center Developer’s $40 Million Super Yacht Moored In Bar Harbor

The baby blue colored and very expensive boat arrived earlier this week and is getting a lot of attention from both tourists and locals alike.

Wow.  If you've spent any time in Bar Harbor this week taking in the sights then you've probably taken notice of the giant yacht tied up to the Bar Harbor town pier.  The two-toned white and ice blue 180 foot-long super yacht is kind of hard to miss.  The photo below was taken this morning via a webcam at BarHarborCam.com.  You can see the Silver Shalis in the left of the photo.

So, who owns this beautiful vessel named "Silver Shalis?"

The Silver Shalis is owned by Larry Silverstein, CEO of Silverstein Properties.  Mr. Silverstein, 90, is the developer of the World Trade Center complex in lower Manhattan  and the owner of many other buildings in New York City.  The Brooklyn native is a big time billionaire, and apparently has very good taste as he and his party are enjoying the sights and fabulous food of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park.

A company called Delta Marine built the 846 ton super yacht that has a top speed of 20  knots and has a range of more than 3000 nautical miles back in 2010.  It normally carries a crew of 14 and can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably.

If you were ever so lucky to board the Silver Shalis then you'd probably get to either take the bronze colored glass enclosed elevator or the beautiful staircase that wraps around the elevator up to the sun deck to see the lap pool and gym. The indoor/outdoor dining area has a table that will seat 10, and from what we've read, Mr. Silverstein's beautiful and very impressive art collection is displayed throughout the boat.

The Silver Shalis is definitely what dreams are made of.
