Amels 61.5 metre motor yacht Solemar sold

Curtis Stokes at Curtis Stokes & Associates has found a buyer for the 61.5 metre motor yacht Solemar , with Matt Albert at Yachting Partners International  representing the seller.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Amels to a design by Michael Leach , she was delivered in 2003 and refitted in 2011. Lloyds classed and MC compliant, she has an elegant interior with raised and fielded cherry wood paneling accommodating 12 guests in six cabins consisting of a split level master suite on the main deck, a VIP suite on the bridge deck and four double cabins below, all with full en suite bathroom facilities.

The expansive main deck saloon has a large lounge for relaxation on comfortable chairs, a bar, relaxation area and an entertainment centre including a large television screen while forward is a formal dining area.

Exterior areas are a major feature and she has a large aft deck with both sunny and shaded areas for dining and lounging al fresco. The vast sun deck, however, is a real eye-opener, offering sunbathing areas on sun pads and loungers, a Jacuzzi dip pool, an outdoor cinema and a fully equipped air conditioned gymnasium enclosed by glass walls. This area can also convert to an outdoor discotheque, enabling guests to dance away the night under the stars.

The sky lounge is the ideal place for relaxation in peace and quiet in front of an entertainment centre with a full wet bar comfortingly close to hand.

Twin 2,600 Caterpillar diesel engines give her a range of 4,500 nautical miles and she is fitted with zero speed stabilizers.

Charter the beautiful Solemar Yacht by Amels

Holland has a long, outstanding tradition in yacht building. Adding to this tradition, the Dutch shipyard Amels designed the stunning Solemar yacht. Originally built in 2003, it’s a superb 202-foot luxurious vessel, with all the amenities one would ever desire and huge interior spaces and outdoor lounge facilities. It’s currently available for charter for a price tag of $325,000 per week.

The crew number is somewhere around 16 people, assuring guests with all the services they need. The yacht can accommodate 12 people in six large cabins. The main suite, the owner’s, spreads around two deck levels, also comprising a raised lounge area to enjoy the breathtaking views, double bed and an office area.

On the upper deck there’s a double cabin and on the lower deck there are four single cabins, two of which are equipped with additional Pullman bunks. The list of pleasures and amenities goes on, with a huge Jacuzzi, al-fresco dining, satellite TV and communications, two Yamaha wave-runners, two 22-feet Nautica tenders, a state-of-the-art gym on the main deck, plasma entertainment system (TV + DVD) and the list goes on.

For a superb vacation away from stress and crowds, this is a great opportunity, taking in consideration that you own the necessary money to borrow it. The seas are at your feet.

Visit all popular places like Scorpios, Meganisi Island, Madouri, Abelakia beach, Spartoxori and possibly Kefalonia, Ithaka, Zakynthos or Paxoi. There are several must-see places, which can only be accessed by boat. Take your time off, swim and relax. The boat is 7.3 meters and it can fit comfortably groups up to 10 guests. It has two engines with a total power of 250 HP, as a result, at least one member of the boat must have a driving license. Luxury yacht Ferretti 530 was very keen to undertake in collaboration once again with AYT – Advanced Yacht Technology, Ferretti Group Engineering Division and Studio Zuccon International Project . The compact dimensions, 16 meters long and almost 5 meters wide, allow the 530 yacht to deliver grand Italian luxury and cruising immersed in such comfort until now unheard of in a yacht of this size.

Ferretti 530 yacht boasts three revolutionary innovations: the full beam master cabin with chaise longue and two large open view windows that make it a real suite at sea level bathed in light, tones and the natural essences of teak. Moving the galley from the center to the aft section creates a unique open space that includes the saloon, galley, cocktail bar and the dining area, the cockpit area continues thanks to the tilting window. The roll bar free sky lounge and the spoiler allow the 530 a sporty appearance combined with elegantly formal lines.

Solemar and Continental Marine: together with a new service center in Sardinia

The Italian boating scene welcomes a new important partnership: Solemar and Continental Marine have entered into an agreement for a new specialized service center in Sardinia.

Continental Marine, a renowned boatyard based in Aglientu, near Santa Teresa di Gallura, offers a wide range of services: from shipbuilding to the storage of motor and sailing boats, from resin-coating to electrical installations, from accessories installation to engine maintenance.
The agreement signed with Solemar , a renowned Italian brand specializing in inflatable boats, further expands the range of brands of Continental Marine (which already includes Scanner Marine, Honda, Rio Yachts, Poly Form and Scout Boats) and aims to offer technical and after-sales assistance to boat owners in Sardinia.

“Our partnership with Solemar is a source of great pride: it is the Italian brand that in our opinion represents excellence in the segment of cabin cruiser inflatables – says Ugo Soldi, owner of Continental Marine – Our long experience with Solemar, testified by the 12 inflatables in our production – enables us to offer a complete and high-quality assistance service to owners of this iconic brand as well as to anyone needing us in Sardinia”.

The Solemar brand, born in the 1980s, experienced a rebirth in 2022 with its acquisition by a group of businessmen from Bergamo. Solemar Italia has invested in major improvements, including new molds, innovative designs and a highly skilled team. The operational headquarters are located in Nembro, in the province of Bergamo. At this year’s Genoa International Boat Show the shipyard premiered three new models in the SX line : from 27, 30, and 34 feet , achieving huge success .

“We are thrilled to partner with Continental Marine, a highly competent boatyard – said Arianna Milesi, Marketing Director of Solemar Italy – This agreement will ensure reliable technical and after sales support for Solemar owners while strengthening the brand’s presence, in Italy and specifically in Sardinia.”

This agreement also promises to open up new perspectives in the boating industry by offering Solemar owners a valuable service point in Sardinia, one of the most popular summer destinations.
