Red Cat Catamaran is the biggest catamaran in Panama. This catamaran will take you on one of the best day trips from Panama City, Panama. Depart from Flamenco Marina which is at the end of the Amador Causeway to sail to the Island of Taboga. The boat leaves punctually at 9 a.m. so it is important to arrive with time. Throughout the sail you will have incredible views of Panama City, the Bridge of the Americas which is the entrance to the Pacific side of the Panama Canal and the ships waiting to cross.

Upon arrival to Taboga Island, the Red Cat Catamaran will park on the back side of the island for about an hour. Then it will head towards the beach and town giving guests two hours to enjoy the area. It is possible to do a quick tour of the island of the flowers, including its church which is considered to be the second oldest of Latin America. The town of Taboga is quite picturesque and it has two beaches which are called “Playa Honda” and “Playa La Restinga”.

Red Cat Catamaran has big nets for people to relax on the sail. There is entertainment and dancing onboard. Open bar includes rum, vodka, seco, local beer, different kinds of soda, fruit punch, lemonade, club soda, tonic water, and water. Snacks and lunch are also included with rice, pasta, potato salad, green salad and chicken with red sauce.

What to bring? bathing suit, change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, flip flops or aqua shoes, cash (for souvenirs or umbrella rentals) and identification or photo (cedula or passport).

Important information: there are two restrooms on board the Red Cat Catamaran. The catamaran has roofed areas in case of rain. If there is extreme weather the excursion will be cancelled and guest will be given the opportunity to reschedule or get a refund. Coolers, speakers, large luggage and alcohol bottles are not permitted onboard. Those coming to Panama City on a cruise boat can take this excursion. Child price is from 4 to 12 years.

ITINERARIES

  taboga island day tour.

Tour Description:

Enjoy the breathtaking views of  the Panama city skyline, Cinta Costera and ships waiting to cross Panama Canal, until you reach the Island of Taboga on a 45 minutes ride; During this time light snacks will be served.

After reaching Taboga we sail to the back side of the Island, an amazing bay with lots of vegetation and a small waterfall, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy its natural treasures. In this 1 hour stop you can have your first swim!

After boarding, we sail around the island and make our second stop on the town side, where you'll be provided with transportation to the beach and be able to visit the small village of Taboga. You can also relax in the catamaran's big nets, enjoy the sun, swim, snorkel or use our floating noodles. You will be able to jump from the boat to the water too. After the town visit, lunch will be served on board of the catamaran and later, we'll sail back to port. If the wind is favorable during our way back the sails will be opened and the party continues!

This boat tour is for sea lovers. We will sail for approx. 2.5 hours to the most beautiful virgin Islands of Panama with clear waters and white sand, where you will have a remarkable experience snorkeling or just relaxing in our spacious deck.

Board our Mega Catamaran and sail to the beautiful Pearl Islands Archipelago.

These Islands are well known for their clear waters and white sand. Those of you who like adventure will be able to enjoy the unique opportunity of snorkeling in these clear waters. Swimming or just relaxing in our deck is also recommended. Stay alert and your eyes might catch the beautiful Wild Dolphins that like to play around the area.

After arrival, transportation will be provided to the beach where you can snorkel or walk around the island and its beautiful big rocks. Later, the crew serves lunch on board and then you can take a dip in the ocean and party all the way back to the city. The time spent on the Island is from 3 to 4 hours.

Wear a swimsuit, bring a towel and adequate sun protection! Alcoholic beverages are only served after the snorkel portion of the tour.
