Great place to have a weeding, host big meetings, and formal dinners. Very nice grounds, and of course, a nice place to have your boat stashed! I've done a few live musical engagements at this venue, and the staff has always treated me very nice.

Always great service! The employees are sweet and so very helpful. The food is excellent and the newly renovated outside patio creates a casually elegant atmosphere.

Attended a holiday party here. They were really busy that evening, with two large parties (ours was a smaller group). Valet was backed up down S Patrick so it was taking a while for our guests to arrive. We enjoyed great service with cocktails out by the fire, plenty of appetizers. My friend and I are both vegan so our options were limited to one entree, but it was delicious. Dinner was served kind of late, but again, they were really busy. Service was attentive. Cocktails were made well.

This a a great club and can be used by members of the Florida Yacht council. Our experience has been wonderful each time we visit. The Sunday brunch is an awesome spread Not to be missed . We will be back often. The staff is extremely friendly

It's a nice enough place. Good tennis courts, good food, nice views.

This is an invitation-only club. The club offers green clay tennis courts (nice on the knees). Great brunches and holiday menu's. People play bridge here and do other yacht-y type things like sit around and drink wine while watching their boats parked in the harbor at sunset. I've been here for thanksgiving quite a number of times with family and I'm always astounded with their presentation and selection of salads, main, courses, and especially desserts. Its invitation only, so send me a message if you want an invite to spend lots of money.

You would think that a private club with a huge operating budget could get things right. This place can't! It seems to me that the majority of members must not know quality from average or they wouldn't put up with the management. If this facility were an independent business it would fold in a heartbeat. Instead, it's run like our government who just keeps raising taxes, this place just keeps raising prices and dues to cover the cost of poor management while losing members. The attitude of the employees is that it's just a job. There's no pride for them to 'know' and recognize the members as they once did. Once they get to know the manager they leave. Sweaty vinyl covered chairs combined with over-spiced, over flavored average ingredients served at premium prices is not what a private club is supposed to be. Add the fixed high gratuities with additional gratuities encouraged (in writing on the checks) and dirty tableware makes one wonder what hell level of quality, or lack thereof is acceptable to these people. Do they not know what a good quality restaurant experience is? IMO: the current management is totally incompetent to run a high-end quality private club and the board of governors obviously aren't qualified either. The entire operation is a high priced joke! (Also my opinion!)

Whatever Floats Your Boat

The Eau Gallie Yacht Club is not just about the water (or adults )

The people of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club are delight to embrace their nautical heritage, which is understandable, considering that the club started in 1907. It still has a commodore and a commodore’s ball, it still has a change-of-watch ceremony and dinner each year, it still sponsors one of the area’s best-known annual year-end events, the holiday boat parade and its slips still accommodate some of Brevard’s most magnificent pleasure vessels.

But leaders of modern organizations like EGYC know that in order to serve their members, a certain amount of diversity of activity is necessary, and that means parents and kids.

“A major part of our membership mix is young families,” says Hugh Van Veen, general manager of the club. “We’ve geared our facilities and events toward families with younger and older children.”

Van Veen ticks off EGYC’s successful list of kid-friendly activities and adds that the complex has a fine playground. He also notes that none of the activities he has named has anything to do do with boats.

“It’s a common misconception that you have to be a boater to be a member, and boating was a mainstay here for many years. It still is. But the Eau Gallie Yacht Club is not a boat club that has social activities, it’s a social club that has boating. At least 30 to 40 percent of our members join because of family (activities),” he says.

“We do about 45 weddings a year. “We also host cocktail parties, business meetings . . . all sorts of functions. And the building is laid out in such a way that the parties don’t interfere with members’ dining or other activities.”

But in order to have that wedding or meeting, you must be sponsored by a member, and in order to dine there, you must be, or be invited by a member.

“It is a private club and our members appreciate that . . .  young families appreciate it more and more,” Van Veen says.

Eau Gallie Yacht Club: Casey and Ben

It still amazes us all how  Concept Photography  captures such breathtaking photographs that it becomes impossible to decide which to select for spotlight! Casey and Ben’s Eau Gallie Yacht Club ceremony and reception wedding was beyond compare in beauty and quality. Each photo transports the viewer right to their special day to experience the sound of Floridian waves and gossip of how picturesque their cake, created by  Cakes by Jennifer Manaseri, turned out to be!

Atmospheres ‘ Debra Robertson blew us away with her immaculate designs of royal purple florals accompanied by lively greenery and varying pink accents. The purple hues in both bridal party outfit and floral selection were paired perfectly with our gold chiavari chairs, and the sunlight cascading through the waterfront windows simply made our chiavaris sparkle and shine!

Casey and Ben’s wedding was an absolutely treat in being a part of! It was our pleasure being involved in such a lovely and memorable wedding highlighting the outright love both Casey and Ben share for each other. We wish these two a lifelong companionship of fulfilled dreams and gleeful experiences. Thank you to the following venue and vendors for being such a help in the production of this wedding event:
