UAE One: Futuristic 140m “UAE flagship” concept presented by Italian designer
A 140-metre superyacht called UAE One has been revealed by the Milan-based designer Enzo Manca. The superyacht design is, according to Manca, "very different from the usual megayachts."
The bold concept has been tailored for the United Arab Emirates, "with the idea it should become the official flagship mega yacht of the state." According to Manca, the concept was designed with input from a Sheikh, with a focus on privacy and additional space for international meetings, as well as multiple transfer options, including a "mini-internal port" for tenders and a submarine.
Taking inspiration from defence ships and spanning nine decks over 2,800 square metres while towering up to 40 meters, the concept's exterior is defined by its distinctive curving lines. The tinted, mirrored windows and strong militant style add to the privacy element.
Reminiscent of an aircraft carrier — with its two heliports ideal for foreign delegates —the expansive circular deck space hosts various luxury amenities.
The 28-metre beam accommodates an 18-metre swimming pool that sits transversely, while the wellness centre and spa transform the concept from its military-style beginnings into a superyacht.
For further relaxation, the huge circular sofa positioned at the bow has been designed around a central fireplace to admire the 360-degree views. Meanwhile, the exterior lounging areas are shaded for additional comfort.
The yacht's interior space includes accommodation in various configurations, with one owner’s suite, eight master cabins and 14 mini-suites, with official interior design renderings still under development.
Three additional meeting rooms and a press area are envisioned for private, international meetings and gatherings. The crew quarters, comprising 35 cabins, will be large enough for staff of 65.
The UAE ONE concept aligns with Manca's existing portfolio of unique superyacht concepts.

When it comes to luxury yachts, few yacht in the word can match the opulence and innovation of the UAE ONE. This magnificent yacht is not just a symbol of extravagance, it’s a testament to the United Arab Emirates’ and the designer ENZO MANCA commitment to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of maritime engineering and design. With its breathtaking features and cutting-edge technology, the UAE ONE stands as a shining example of the future of yachting. Difficult to describe a mega yacht like UAE ONE with just one adjective.
This very particular project is inspired by the large US aircraft carriers. A work that lasted almost two years, including the study of the bow lines, the upper deck, the tower, and how it could become from a military ship to a private yacht. The yacht has been designed to have maximum privacy, the tenders can moor and pick up and drop off all guests or delegations in full privacy in the small internal port, the entrance and the port side.
The fifth deck of the yacht is characterized by a slat roof with variable inclination. This system serves to protect the fifth bridge from prying eyes., where the main meeting rooms and ow-ner’s cabins are located. At the bow of UAE ONE a huge circular sofa has been positioned with a firepla-ce in the center where it is possible to admire the sea at 360°. But above all the entire length and width of the yacht.
CUTTING-EDGE TECNOLOGY
While the UAE ONE exudes classic luxury, it also incorporates cutting-edge technology to enhance the onboard experience. State-of-the-art navigation systems ensure smooth and safe voyages, while advanced stabilization technology minimizes the effects of rough seas, ensuring a comfortable journey for all on board. The yacht’s connectivity is equally impressive, with high-speed internet and satellite communication systems that allow guests to stay connected with the world or conduct business while at sea.
SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSABILITY
In an era where environmental consciousness is paramount, the UAE ONE sets an example for sustainable yachting. The vessel is equipped with the latest eco-friendly technologies, including advanced emissions control systems and a wastewater treatment plant that ensures the responsible disposal of waste. Moreover, the UAE ONE is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by using hybrid propulsion systems and renewable energy sources whenever possible. This commitment to sustainability ensures that future generations can continue to enjoy the beauty of the oceans.
The UAE ONE is not just a yacht; it’s a statement of extravagance, innovation, and a commitment to a sustainable future. With its breathtaking design, luxurious interiors, state-of-the-art amenities, and a focus on environmental responsibility, it represents the pinnacle of yachting excellence. As this magnificent vessel glides through the world’s oceans, it serves as a symbol of the United Arab Emirates’ dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of yachting. The UAE ONE is a testament to the fact that when it comes to luxury, innovation, and sustainability, the sky – or in this case, the sea – is the limit.
The measures of UAE ONE show all its grandeur.
Length 140 meters width 28 meters height 40 meters 9 decks 35 Cabins for about 65 crew 14 Mini apartments 5 Super suites 8 Master cabins 3 Meeting rooms 1 Press area

UAE One, the future presidential superyacht of the United Arab Emirates?
The world of yacht designers shows a sometimes overflowing imagination. Enzo Manca, a Milanese designer, tried his hand at designing what could be the future presidential superyacht of the United Arab Emirates. Inspired by aircraft carriers, it fits well with the grandiloquence of the country.
A concept inspired by American aircraft carriers
Italian designer Enzo Manca has designed a special superyacht, inspired by the great American aircraft carriers. The idea was born in 2020 when he met a sheikh from the United Arab Emirates. The sheikh wanted the designer to create a truly special and unique boat to become the flagship of the UAE, which does not currently have one. This is how Enzo Manca designed UAE One, a project that took him two years from the study of the bow lines, the upper deck, the tower... The designer also studied how to transform the UAE One from a military vessel to a private yacht. As a result, the UAE One has gigantic dimensions: 140 m long, 28 m wide and 40 m high. Its curved lines nevertheless differentiate it from ocean-going vessels.
2,800 m2 of open-air deck
While the hull and two aft decks remain similar to more conventional yachts , it is the structural additions on the upper decks, and particularly on the bow, that give her a UFO look. A total of nine decks have been designed on UAE One, including a teak main deck with 2,800 m2 of open space.
A superyacht for diplomacy and pleasure
Designed to be the ship of the Emir and ruler of the UAE, the UAE One has 14 mini apartments, 5 super suites and 8 master cabins to accommodate guests. Two meeting rooms, as well as a room dedicated to press conferences, are also installed on board. To take care of this prestigious world, 65 crew members can be accommodated on board in 35 dedicated cabins.
In order to facilitate fast travel , the UAE One has two helipads, one of which can accommodate helicopters over 17 m. A hangar will be able to house the presidential helicopter. Finally, inside the boat is concealed a mini inner harbour which also houses a submarine .
Although designed for diplomatic missions, the UAE One has all the amenities expected on a yacht. On board, there is an 18 m2 transverse pool, a gym, a wellness center and a spa. At the bow, a huge circular sofa with a fireplace allows a 360° view of the sea. Future images of the interior should be unveiled at the end of 2023.
Inspired by the mighty US Aircraft carriers, a sultan of UAE has designed a 459-foot long megayacht concept to host diplomats and royals. The mammoth vessel will have a wellness area, two helipads, a submarine, and even a press-room for international gatherings.

While there seems to be a fine line between characteristics that define yachts and superyachts, mega yachts explore the pinnacle of luxury while cruising the open ocean. Typically measuring over 260 feet in length, mega yachts require larger crews to maintain the vessel while offering a spectacular level of service. Enzo Manca Introduces The 459-Foot UAE One Megayacht Concept
Apr. 11th, 2023
From JustLuxe Content Partner MensGear
Just when we thought nobody could beat Lazzarini Design Studio’s outlandish concepts, out comes the UAE One. This megayacht is the brainchild of Enzo Manca and is slated to become the national flagship of the United Arab Emirates. Although it boasts an avant-garde outline, this vessel looks ready to navigate the seas.
People often associate many Middle Eastern countries with opulence, which is why most of the world’s creative minds often seek to realize their visions with the help of investors from the region.
Sources state the UAE One is a collaboration with a sheik who prefers to stay anonymous for now.
Drawing inspiration from aircraft carriers, this 459-foot monohull’s final blueprint was almost two years in the making.
According to the official page, crucial elements of the military ship such as the tower, bowlines, and upper deck were reimagined for leisure and recreational purposes.
Similar to the placement of the superstructure on its muse, the UAE One position it asymmetrically to the side.
Instead of a runway, however, the main deck has two helipads to accommodate choppers as large as 56 feet. Toward the rear is another landing area exclusively for the presidential helicopter, notes Manca.
With a beam that measures 91 feet, it boasts 30,139 square feet of teak and open-air space. Guests aboard the UAE One can enjoy amenities like a 60-foot transversal swimming pool, wellness center, spa, and gym, among others.
The bow even features a circular seating arrangement with a fireplace for breathtaking 360-degree views of the sea.
There are a total of nine decks, 14 mini apartments, five super suites, eight master cabins, three meeting rooms, and a press area aboard the UAE One. It requires a crew of 65 to service and maintain operations.

Tinted mirrored windows and sober styling add an element of privacy to the yacht, making it ideal for high-profile guests and VIPs.

The 459-foot yacht is also inspired by US aircraft carriers and of course the UAE. Christened as UAE One, it has been designed with a futuristic touch and looks different from other mega yachts.
The design was discussed with a Sheikh with the idea of creating a unique yacht while also converting a military vessel into something much more luxurious. The silhouette of UAE One is very different and sleek with futuristic surfacing while there is a sense of functionality with defence ships in mind. It has the presence of a traditional mega yacht but has its own distinctive charm.

Enzo Manca launches the new 140-metre yacht Uae One
The bold concept was created, “with the idea that it should become the official flagship mega yacht of the state”. Second Manca , the concept was designed with input from a sheik, with a focus on privacy and additional space for international meetings, as well as multiple transfer options, including a “mini-inland port” and a submarine.
Reminiscent of an aircraft carrier – with its two helipads ideal for foreign delegates – the large circular deck space accommodates various luxurious amenities.
As can be guessed, the maximum prestige is destined for the owner's suite: the other accommodations are represented by 8 owner's cabins and 14 mini-suites
For crew estimated at 65 Guests are designed 35 cabin .

Inside Gulf Craft: the UAE's megayacht shipyard
As boat sales boom, the umm al quwain shipbuilder has doubled production of its superyachts.
Gulf Craft's boatyard in Umm Al Quwain where hundreds of employees are working on a backlog of orders.
While the world feels the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the mega-rich have been seeking added sanctuary by snapping up yachts so they can physically distance in the lap of luxury.
Boat brokers are struggling to meet demand, but that is good news for one privately owned UAE company.
Far from the bustling berths of Monaco and Cannes, where most superyachts spend the summer, is the emirate of Umm Al Quwain, on a peninsula in the north of the UAE.
Along a coastline dominated by mangroves and blue-clawed crabs is one of the world's top ten shipyards. Gulf Craft employs more than 1,000 people, and has made more than 10,000 vessels since it was established by Emirati businessman Mohammed Alshaali in 1982.
Inside cavernous indoor warehouses that cover an area bigger than four football pitches, Gulf Craft makes some of the world's most luxurious superyachts.
This is not an assembly plant; nearly every element of each vessel is designed and built in Umm Al Quwain – from the moulding of the carbon-fibre hulls, to the joinery of the five-star interiors and the welding of the sleek metalwork which surrounds the decks.
Chief executive Talal Nasralla said this is a point of pride for the company, but it also makes them competitive on price.
"At Gulf Craft we look at the craftsmanship. We compete on the world stage in terms of taste, finish and quality because our team of craftsmen work with their hands and look at the very fine details," said Mr Nasralla, who took over as chief executive in February.
Gulf Craft's boat business is booming
"We are a vertically integrated company. Everything is made in-house, and that brings down costs."
Gulf Craft can make 200 boats a year and specialises in composite yachts made out of carbon fibre and vinyl ester rather than from steel and aluminium, which also brings down the price.
Composite vessels consume less fuel than their metal counterparts, do not rust and have a shallow draft – meaning their keel is not far below the waterline – ideal for navigating the shallow waters around the UAE, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Prices start at $70,000 (Dh257,000) for a 31 foot day boat, and soar to $17m (Dh63m) for a Majesty 140.
The National toured the shipyard and watched the boatbuilders at work – sanding, cutting and welding.
Outside, two 150-tonne travel lifts designed to raise the biggest of yachts stood idle. But moored up along the quayside were some of Gulf Craft's newest vessels, their decks covered in protective blue sheets as labourers added the finishing touches.
One was the flagship megayacht called Majesty 175, which was sold to a prominent Emirati businessman for $35m (Dh129m).
Measuring 53 metres, it is the world's largest composite production vessel, comprising four decks, seven en suite bedrooms, a gym, a lift, a professional kitchen and discrete staff quarters for 10.
It looked ready to sail – just the infinity swimming pool needed filling.
The impact of the pandemic
During the local and international lockdowns of 2020, the Gulf Craft boatyards had to close, and supply chains were disrupted, causing production delays. Sales slowed to a trickle, as the world's population stayed home.
But this year, the company bounced back with a stronger first quarter than the past three years, Mr Nasralla said.
"The company took a very wise decision to continue building during 2020, so we came out on the other side of the pandemic with a wealth of stock. This meant we were able to meet the rising demand at the beginning of 2021.
"In the past we've seen the yard build up to two or three large yachts, maximum, a year. Now we have five, nearly six orders for our 100ft yacht.
"We have doubled production for our larger yachts, and maybe even tripled production of smaller vessels. We have a build backlog up to mid-2022."
Gulf Craft sells its boats to buyers all over the world, including to the GCC, Turkey, Russia, Italy, Slovenia and the US. In America, sales of vessels, marine products and services surged to a 13-year high last year – $47 billion – an increase of nine per cent from the previous year, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.
Gulf Craft's customers are not all established industry leaders with deep pockets, Mr Nasralla said.
"We have a good mix of clients, but what we've seen lately is that the younger generation of buyers are coming into the picture, and especially in the last couple of years, we have seen younger people more interested in being at sea with their families.
"There's a generation of those younger nomads, buying our smaller yachts."
Socially distanced at sea
Mr Nasralla believes the yachting industry's recovery in the past six months is in part down to last year's lockdowns.
"We believe that this is partly driven by the social distancing that people feel when they are on the yacht with their families," he said.
"Of course, the lack of travel during 2020 is contributing as well, plus the closure of certain destinations, but people have also realised that spending time on a yacht with their family and friends provides them with the ultimate vacation at home.
"Plus, when travel restrictions ease in the future, it will be relatively easy for them to take their yachts around the world, so it's a full solution."

“This milestone transaction at Nobu Residences not only sets a new benchmark for residential property in Abu Dhabi but also underscores the maturity of the real estate market,” said Talal Al Dhiyebi, group chief executive officer at real estate developer Aldar. “Year on year, we are seeing healthy increases in both the volume and value of homes purchased, driven by supportive government policies and initiatives that have increased the attractiveness of Abu Dhabi as a place where people want to live and see real opportunity for investment.”
Slated to reach completion in 2027, homes in the 88-unit tower will range between one- and three-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom lofts, penthouses, and sky villas. The starting price for the residences was set at AED 7 million (or roughly $1.9 million), and prior to the penthouse sale, a four-bedroom duplex villa was scooped up for a cool $35.4 million.
As expected of a premium development, residents will have access to a laundry list of exclusive amenities, including a state-of-the-art fitness center, a pool, a movie theater, and communal gardens. Along with the project’s residential offerings, there will also be a 125-key Nobu hotel, a Nobu restaurant, and a rooftop bar. When all is said and done, the beachfront development will span 12 acres. The project is in proximity to the nearly completed Guggenheim museum, designed by architect Frank Gehry, as well as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Grove, and Mamsha Al Saadiyat.
