Traxxas has faithfully captured the incredible looks and performance of the DCB M41 in a detailed scale replica that is versatile, fun, and fast. The catamaran hull has been accurately reproduced to deliver the speed, stability and confidence that the full-size M41 is famous for, allowing you to have fun wherever your marine adventures take you. The M41 replica is equally at home blasting across the waves at the lake on a fun run or exploiting its 50+mph speed on a favorite stretch of smooth water. Traxxas Stability Management Micro Receiver with Fail-Safe Security Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) makes it possible to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into Traxxas models by making it much easier to control the vehicle on any water condition. Punch it off the line and TSM goes to work sensing the boats’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full-throttle acceleration without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to maintain the vehicle’s line, then hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. Traxxas TSM gives all the benefits modern electronic stabilization has to offer without intruding on driving fun or introducing unexpected side effects that can be found on other systems such as drastically reduced turning radius, assistance that times out (quits), throttle restrictions, and an overall disconnected driving feel. Instead of using a monohull with a V-shape design, the catamaran uses two parallel hulls of equal size. This hull design offers more than a different visual presentation; the catamaran offers a wider stance on the water for increased stability and less hydrodynamic resistance. This also lets the M41 use less energy to propel itself across the water making it incredibly fast. The M41 gets on plane almost immediately, letting you get to the fun faster - to the tune of 50+ mph on 6S LiPo power. Big Boat, Big Fun The M41 is a water-roosting speed demon that’s also a work of art. At just over 40 inches (1 meter) long, the M41 has a commanding presence just floating in the water. Crack open the throttle and the fun begins! The M41’s size and design give it the versatility to work well in a wide range of conditions. Rigid Internal Structure A unique feature of the M41 is its rigid internal structure with removeable electronics tray and motor mount. The VXL-6s electronic speed control, waterproof receiver box, and powerful 2056 high-torque steering servo are all bolted securely to the tray. The motor is attached independently to a motor mount that increases the rigidity of the hull. In just a few quick minutes, the electronics can be removed for maintenance. The internal structure includes an integrated reinforced transom to provide a solid mounting surface for the control and drive systems. DCB M41 Detailed Cockpit Traxxas faithfully reproduced the M41’s artfully sculpted cockpit with an acute attention to detail, from the gauges and speakers to the steering wheel and seats. Flex Cable Drive System The M41 features an efficient and reliable flex cable drive system that is securely mounted to the internal structure. Quick Release Flex Cable Some boats rely on set screws to pinch the flex shaft in place. Set screws are prone to loosening and can damage the flex shaft - that's not the Traxxas way. The M41 features a clamping collet that holds the flex cable tightly and centers it perfectly with the motor's output shaft for the smoothest operation possible. This design eliminates the usual set screws that can strip, come apart, or damage the flex cable. When it's time for maintenance, the collet releases quickly with a twist of the included precision wrench. Once loosened, the prop and flex cable simply slide out. Handcrafted, scratch built and readymade SAP Catamaran

Our team of skilled artisans were delighted when asked to build a model boat of the high-tech SAPExtreme 40 Catamaran. We worked very closely to achieve an accurate replica of the original vessel, with high attention to detail on the logo and branding work.  This readymade model is approximately one meter long, built on a scale of 1:10.

To ensure the boat model was completely constructed to include inclusive features of the catamaran and showing the additional service that we can offer, one of our staff flew out to Madrid where the boat was being exhibited. The Extreme Sailing Series takes place in different locations around the world, in 2012 the competition was held at; Oman, China, Turkey, Portugal, and England. This new type of yacht racing is subject to a range of rules, with all catamarans being the same size at 40 feet in length.

The SAP team consists of a Danish crew, Rasmus Køstner and Jes Gram Hansen. They both have extensive sailing careers and always looking for new challenges and participating in extreme sailing series.

With around 30 races in each event, they take place quite close to the coastline to ensure fast pace sailing. The sport is extremely competitive, with the teams currently participating in the extreme Sailing Series holding, 4 Olympic Gold, 1 Olympic Silver, 47 World Cup titles, and 28 European Championship titles.

Sibur Upgrades Voronezh Plant, Shares Export Plans

Russian petrochemicals producer Sibur has expanded its plant in Voronezh which enabled it to increase production of styrene copolymer-based thermoplastic elastomers at by 50,000 metric tons per year, Neftegaz   reports .

Through the expansion, the site, which already produces about 85,000 tons of TPEs per year, will see the addition of new grades for compounds and adhesives. These products, targeted for the roofing and road construction end markets, will enable Sibur to better meet the growing demand for TPE both domestically and internationally. Applications will include polymer-bitumen binders, which can more than double road-pavement life up to around 10 years, the company noted.

“With new capacities to be put on stream, Sibur will be able to fully meet the prospective domestic [demand],” Sibur’s Managing Director Pavel Lyakhovich said. “On top of that, we will keep tapping into the European TPE market, with new grades set to boost our export potential.”

Sibur did not disclose an investment amount, nor did it give a timeline for the TPE expansion project. Previously, the company invested about $70 million for a capacity expansion of similar size.

On Tuesday, the company said it plans to export some 60% of the polyethylene and polypropylene output from its under-construction Zapsib petrochemical complex in the West Siberian city of Tobolsk, helping Russia expand its share of the global petrochemical market in the medium term.

Sibur’s executive director Sergey Komyshan told S&P Global Platts in an interview that looking at exports both to Europe and Asia, with some 30% of the output is likely to go to China — but a lot “will also depend on how the Russian market performs.”
