I feel there was a missed opportunity ...the crew did not promote themselves so tips were not expected. Captain did not talk the entire cruise, it would have been nice to here some history about the houses and areas we were viewing . Crew was great, enthusiastic! Music started half way through via a cell phone, snacks were great but no plates, no napkins. All food you held and ate from your hands . They served blueberries so kinda hard to hold. So great viewing , but definitely some fine tuning needed.

First time out on the Sierra Cloud for a morning Mimosa Cruise! Couldn't have been more satisfied. Outstanding crew who makes sure that you have ALL the Mimosas you could ever want. Very pleasant - highly recommend.

8 of us took 2:30 Sierra Cloud cruise......excellent trip mostly because of: the Captain,and Tom and Jerry deckhands were a hoot! Wine, beer, snacks all terrific...... Only problem is that there is NO parking unless you’re staying at the Hyatt. But, if your just heading to Incline for a boat tour, you’re screwed. They won’t even let you valet!! It took 40 minutes to find an area that would let us park........for $60!

Went out with Captain Ryan with my two daughters who had never done any form of water skying. He suggested wake surfing as their initial activity. Ryan provided careful instructions and both girls got up quickly. Once up, Ryan gave directions to get into the sweet spot of the wake so that they could surf the wake. Overall, it was a spectacular outing. We did also rent kayaks, paddle board, and jet skis from Action. Those were all great too but Ryan made the water ski/wake board trip special. I would totally do another water ski trip with Action Watersports.

Loved it. This was the first time we tried it with the live music and historical story telling of Tahoe Dan. Well worth it. It's a mid-morning cruise, and we had couples and families of all ages. It's a full service cruise, so we had beer, wine, sodas & waters, along with a beautiful passed tray of fresh fruits and cheeses and crackers. Having the live entertainment was a refreshing change from the typical piped in music playlists. "Tahoe Dan" grew up on the lake and has story after historical story that he tells you about the lake, which makes it super interesting and fun. He mixes stories with acoustic guitar and either original songs or covers. The crew of the Sierra Cloud is simply fabulous. We were fortunate to be sailing on the final day before retirement of their captain, Gary. He and his team are personable, warm hearted, and genuinely seem to like their jobs. ANY TIME you get the opportunity to actually be out on the lake, on that incredible blue water, and see the shoreline up close like this, it is a privilege. So go for it, because this will definitely be a great use of your morning time, and it will be something you will definitely remember for years to come.

A cruise on the Sierra Cloud is an experience that should not be missed when visiting the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. It is so fun & invigorating and the staff is fabulous. The best way to see Lake Tahoe from the water.

We had the best time on the Happy Hour Cruise! The boat is charming and the views of the lake are stunning and beautiful! The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating from check in to the photo guy to the captain! We brought our own captain's hats to be goofy and the captain and staff got such a kick out of it that they let us get a look at the cockpit (is it a cockpit on a boat??) and pretend to drive! It was a fun, relaxing activity before going to dinner.

A group of 14 of us threw a surprise party for my wife, to celebrate an upcoming milestone birthday. The folks at the Tahoe Gal could not have been nicer! From the initial booking, they did everything with excellence. The music dinner cruise was extraordinary! The lake was calm. The views were stunning. The table for our group was perfect. The musicians were talented and even played Happy Birthday for my wife. The food was better than any restaurant (I had the prime rib ... not to be missed!). And I cannot say enough about our server, Christian. He was terrific and handled our large group with ease. Kudos, Tahoe Gal! Well done!!!

This was a perfect way to enjoy the lake. Took the Tahoe Gal over to Emerald Bay for a Sunday lunch cruise. The day was beautiful and the bay, beyond words. Enjoyed learning about the lake and the history of the area. The captain did a great job with all the information, however, the sound system could be improved. The food, albeit a bit pricey was good and the mixed drinks yum! The crew did a great job and were always smiling even though they were kept busy... Overall we loved it and would definitely do it again!!!

My mother and I had the BEST time sailing with Captain Austin and First Mate Jack. They were incredibly fun, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make the experience wonderful. Sailing on Lake Tahoe was a dream and they made it even better.

Austin and Quincy were so great! We were in town for a company retreat and it was so relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

Book and head out with Tim and Phoebe, comfortable and relaxed time in the wind! They also will keep you entertained!

We had a company team building day with Tahoe Sailing Charters. What a fun day! The staff were great with us. The weather was not the best but the fun had was memorable.

Can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than on the waters of Lake Tahoe on a sailboat! We debated between doing a sailboat or the paddle wheeler, and we are so happy we chose the sailboat. It was so relaxing, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We were able to sit and/or lay on different areas of the boat, and we could move around as much as we wanted to. There was just enough wind to sail the boat, but not so much that it was chilly. Captain Pete was friendly, and first mate Laura did an awesome job making sure we all had beverages and any refills we needed. They both really seem to enjoy their job, and that just makes it more pleasurable for their guests. I would highly recommend Tahoe Sailing Charters when you are in the Tahoe area!

WOW! What an amazing adventure on Lake Tahoe. Austin and Phoebe were an incredible team and this trip is a MUST while visiting Lake Tahoe. The two of them exuded kindness and fun! The organization and professionalism of this business is outstanding. We brought my mother in law (who has limited mobility) and the staff was so accommodating and incredibly helpful! Had a fabulous time on one of the best sailing days of the year. Capt Tim and First Mate Jack were friendly and efficient. We were moving fast with full sails and a strong wind. Sun was shining and the sky was sooo blue! Thanks for a great way to spend a few hrs in Tahoe City!

Booked this afternoon sail based off pricing and reviews. We had captain Tim and first-mate Jack and both were super friendly and made an effort to get to know the passengers throughout the sail. They were very attentive to everyone on board, always ready and willing to give refills, take photos, etc. Definitely recommend this company!

Beautiful day for a sail!

We booked a sunset sail cruise and was such a great experience! Everyone was super nice to talk to and helpful, parents who were visiting from India enjoyed the 2 hours thoroughly. The captain of the boat (who we didn't get a chance to talk to much) and Jack were really helpful and made this experience wonderful and enjoyable!

Went out on a full moon sail and had a wonderful evening with Tahoe Sailing Charters. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We will book again with them. Thank you!

This hour and a half sailing cruise will take you along the untouched eastern shores of Lake Tahoe.

It is about one and a half hours long.

Sunday at 10am - Saturday departure TBA. Please arrive 20 min. early for payment and boarding pass

Either along the east shore to Thunderbird Lodge or along the west shore to Cal Neva.

Alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, and light appetizers.

The industry standard is 18%, but feel free to tip however much you would like.
