Dubrovnik gilt nicht zuletzt wegen der Sonnenscheindauer von über 2.500 Stunden pro Jahr als ein Zentrum des Fremdenverkehrs. Seit dem Jahr 1997 steht die Altstadt, die von einer 1.940 Meter langen sowie bis zu sechs Meter breiten Stadtmauer umgeben ist, auf der Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes. Neben vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten warten in der Stadt eine große Anzahl an Sportmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Tavernen auf Ihren Besuch.

Sechs Kilometer von der Altstadt und nur 27 Kilometer vom Flughafen entfernt liegt die Marina in Dubrovnik. Hier können Sie Ihren Süddalmatien -Törn in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage beginnen, in der in einer alten Sommerresidenz der Patrizier ein kleines Hotel beherbergt ist. Als Ziele bieten sich in nördlicher Richtung die grünen Inseln Korčula, der Elaphiten-Archipel und Mljet. Wenn der Vercharterer das zulässt, ist die Marina auch ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für einen Yachtcharter-Urlaub entlang der Küste Montenegros .

Der Elaphiten-Archipel – Einsame Inseln und ausgedehnte Wanderungen

Nur etwas nördlich der Stadt liegt der Archipel der Elaphiten mit seinen 13 Inseln, von welchen nur 3 bewohnt sind. Sie werden auch der „Vorgarten von Dubrovnik“ genannt, sie sind nur durch den Koločeper Kanal vom Festland vor der Stadt getrennt. Als die bekannteste Insel der Elaphiten gilt Koločep. Die bewaldete Insel, auf welcher keine Autos fahren, bietet sich für ausgedehnte Wanderungen an. Die Wege sind gut ausgebaut und der Wald spendet an Sommertagen ausreichend Schatten. Die Routen an der Küste entlang erlauben immer wieder einmalige Ausblicke auf das umgebende türkisfarbene Meer und auch vom Land aus sind viele der Buchten zum Baden zugänglich. Ganz im Süden der Insel am Kap Bezdan blickt man auf die süddalmatinische Küste mit der Halbinsel Lapad, das Snježnica-Gebirge, sowie den Gebirgen Montenegros.

Einen Ausflug wert, allerdings nur vom Wasser aus zugänglich, ist die Blaue Grotte im Südwesten der Insel, ebenfalls am Kap Bezdan. Durch einen flachen Zugang kann man in die Grotte schwimmen. Bei Sonneneinfall am Nachmittag leuchtet das Wasser innerhalb der Grotte in strahlendem Blau, noch blauer als das umgebende Meer. Auch Taucher haben hier einiges zu entdecken, so liegt vor dem Kap in 16m Tiefe das Schiffswrack eines Zweimasters, welches besichtigt werden kann. Auch die nächste Insel des Archipels, Lopud, bietet schöne Stunden zum Verweilen. Im Norden und Süden der Insel liegen zwei Sandstrände, wobei der südlichere zwar über einfache sanitäre Anlagen verfügt, aber sonst etwas weniger erschlossen ist als der touristisch geprägte nördliche Strand.

Mljet, die grünste Insel Kroatiens

Von der Insel  Mljet  glauben die Bewohner, dass sie die Insel Ogygia aus Homers Illias sei, auf welcher Odysseus nach seinem Schiffbruch angespült wurde und einige Jahre mit der Meeresnymphe Kalypso gelebt haben soll. Und sie ist nicht das schlechteste Ziel für einen Schiffbruch, denn diese immergrüne Insel ist ein wahres Naturparadies. Um sie zu erreichen, passiert man eine kleine Kluft zwischen den bewaldeten und unbewohnten Inseln Olipa und Jakljan.

Der Nordwesten der Insel bildet ein Nationalpark, den man etwa über die Bucht bei Pomena erreichen kann. Der Park und die Wanderwege sind weitläufig angelegt, sodass man auch bei größerem Besucheransturm die Ruhe der Natur genießen kann. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit Fahrräder zu leihen und die artenreiche Flora und Fauna mit mehr als 100 Vogelarten und über 600 Pflanzenarten zu erkunden.

Besonders sind auch die zwei Salzwasserseen im Park. Man kann hier das warme Wasser schwimmend genießen oder ein Kanu mieten und über den See paddeln. Zum Beispiel zur kleinen Insel im großen See, auf dem ein ehemaliges Benediktinerkloster liegt. Heute kann man sich hier im Restaurant und Café stärken. Auch die Strände in den vielen kleinen Buchten der Insel bieten Badespaß. Für Familien etwa der Sandstrand Saplunara, an welchem das Ufer mit glasklarem Wasser sanft abfällt. Für das leibliche Wohl ist auf der Insel gesorgt, zahlreiche Restaurants bieten frischen Fisch, Meeresfrüchte, aber auch vegetarische Köstlichkeiten der Region an.

Korčula – schon in prähistorischer Zeit bei Menschen beliebt

Die Insel  Korčula , knapp 25 Seemeilen nordwestlich von Mljet in der kroatischen Adria gelegen, ist ein weiteres lohnenswertes und gut zu erreichendes Ziel. Die im Osten der Insel liegende gleichnamige Stadt ist nicht nur für historisch Interessierte einen Ausflug wert. Besonders sehenswert ist die Altstadt auf einem kleinen Landsporn gelegen mit Bauten aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Über die Insel führen gut ausgebaute Wander- und Radwege. Machen Sie sich auf und entdecken Sie einsame Buchten und schlendern Sie durch verwilderte Weingärten.

Im Westen liegt die größte Siedlung der Insel, Vela Luka. Hier lohnt ein Ausflug ins Kulturzentrum um prähistorische Funde aus der nahe gelegenen Höhle Vela Spilja zu betrachten. Sie ist auch auf einem Wanderweg aus der Stadt gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ebenfalls römische Funde aus der Umgebung und moderne Kunst einheimischer Künstler sind hier zu sehen. Selbstverständlich kommt auch hier das Badevergnügen nicht zu kurz so finden sich an der Küstenlinie der Insel zahlreiche Buchten und Strände, etwa der Sandstrand Lumbarda ganz im Südosten der Insel oder die vielen Strände der Bucht von Brna im Osten.

Day 1: Dubrovnik – Lokrum island

Day 2: Lopud island- Šipan island

A mild climate has led to the development of lush and rich Mediterranean and subtropical vegetation with lemons, oranges, pines, cypresses and palm trees. Your local yacht captain will want to take you to Šunj – a sandy beach considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Croatian Adriatic sea. The sandy shoal of this beach stretches a few hundred meters from the shore, which makes the bay ideal for a family yacht charter in Dubrovnik.

Day 3: The Island of Šipan –  Pelješac peninsula

The biggest island of the Elaphite archipelago is Šipan, which is also listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the biggest ratio of olive trees to the population of its total area, is a must-see during your yacht charter in Dubrovnik.

It was formed after the Republic of Ragusa bought Ston in the year 1333. Ston was surrounded by defensive walls, which are a popular attraction and by length, second only to the Great Wall of China.

Day 4 – Pelješac peninsula – Mljet National Park

Mljet is an island of mystery, with rich forests, beautiful beaches and an incredibly blue sea, ideal for enjoying pristine nature.

You can ride an e-bike through the National Park or just enjoy an al-fresco dining experience on the Greenest Croatian island. Here, you can explore the Veliko lake, with an islet of St. Mary and a church and monastery founded in the 12th century by the Benedictines of Monte Gargano in Italy. Alternative targets for exploration also are the Malo lake and the Odysseus Cave .

Day 5 -Mljet National Park – Lastovo Island

A small and inhabited island, Lastovo is the perfect place for those looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday, in untouched and beautiful nature. Lastovo island has a mild Mediterranean climate and due to its good position, it has more than 2700 hours of sunshine a year.

Lastovo also has the starriest sky in Europe and if you embark on a yacht charter in Dubrovnik during the summer, you will be able to see one of the most beautiful astronomical phenomena – the Perseid meteor shower . Make a wish and enjoy this beautiful island.

The city of Korčula is surrounded by 13th-century walls and it is one of the best-preserved fortified medieval towns in Croatia.

Until the beginning of the 18th century, it was forbidden to build outside the city walls, and visitors entered via a wooden drawbridge. Another fun fact about Korčula is that Marco Polo , one of the world’s biggest historical travellers, was born on this island and spent his childhood in one of the houses that are still there.

Korčula is not only a historical place; it has a lot of stunning beaches and bays where you can spend your yacht charter vacation in Croatia peacefully. Komolac i Kroatien er hjemsted for verdens korteste flod, Ombla, der ligger i regionen Rijeka Dubrovacka. 

I 1438 blev det første vandingssystem til Dubrovnik etableret ved denne flod. Den har leveret drikkevand til "Adriaterhavets perle" lige siden. 

Gå en tur gennem denne lille by og udforsk Helligåndskirken, Bebudelseskirken og Skt. Tripun-kirken. Besøg også Gundulic House, sommerhuset Bizzaro House - Facenda, sommerhuset Pero Kolic og sommerhuset Sokorcevic - Skala; alle disse steder er opført i registret over kulturarv i Kroatien. 

Dubrovnik ligger i det sydlige Dalmatien og anses for at være en af Kroatiens smukkeste byer. Dubrovnik er på UNESCO's liste over verdens kulturarv. 

Byen er bedst kendt for sin bevarede gamle bydel og sin middelalderlige arkitektur. Den gamle bydel er også kendt for Stradun, eller Placa, hovedgaden. For mange besøgende er en af de bedste ting at gøre i den gamle bydel at sætte sig på den nærmeste café og nyde en drink, mens man ser verden passere forbi. Besøgende i den gamle bydel er også under opsyn af byens skytshelgen, Saint Blaise (Saint Vlaho, som de lokale kalder ham).

Byens højeste punkt kan ses fra toppen af Mount Srd (412 meter over havets overflade), et kort stykke inde i landet. I 1969 blev der bygget en svævebane til at transportere besøgende til og fra toppen, og den kører indtil midnat i højsæsonen.

Følger man kystvejen syd for Dubrovnik, kommer man til den lille by Covtat, som er fuld af charme, arkitektur og naturlig skønhed. Du finder også et par bugter med en promenade, der løber gennem små romantiske landsbyer som Srebreno eller Mlini. Hvis du er på udkig efter lidt historie, er du kommet til byen Dubrovnik.

Øgruppen Elaphiti består af 13 øer, hvoraf kun tre er beboede. Ølivet og kulturen er uovertruffen, og freden og roen er uvurderlig.

Øen ligger højt mod nord på øen Korčula i Dubrovnik/Neretva-regionen og er rig på kultur, historie og natur. Byen Korčula, også kendt som "Lille Dubrovnik", er også omgivet af mure.

Lastovo er den næstmest skovklædte ø i Adriaterhavet og er blevet erklæret for naturpark. Øen har en nationalpark på den vestlige front og et reservat for naturressourcer på den østlige front. Mljet er rig på flora, fauna, historie og vilde eventyr.

Denne marina ligger i byen Komolac i Rijeka Dubrovacka, ved floden Omblas udmunding, og anses for at være den sikreste at fortøje sin yacht i og en af de bedste til at vedligeholde dem. 

Daksa er den holm, der skal bruges som udgangspunkt for Rijeka Dubrovackas munding, og den kan rundes fra alle sider. Hvis du følger flodlejet, ender du ved Mokopsica-fyrtårnet og går derefter mod ACI Marina Dubrovnik. Når man kommer til Rozat, bliver bugten smallere og en smule lavere med en dybde på 3-5 meter. En stor bølgebryder beskytter den mod flodens strøm, og den er oplyst om natten.

I marinaen er der 380 bådpladser til rådighed, hver med sine egne servicefaciliteter, som man kan forvente af en moderne lystbådehavn. Faciliteterne omfatter en reception, et vekselkontor, en café, en privat bar, en restaurant, en taverna, en tennisbane, en swimmingpool, et toilet og en bruser, en vaskeriservice, et supermarked, en butik med nautisk udstyr, et værksted og en 60 t rejseelevator.

Nogle af disse pladser bruges dog af charterselskaber, og der er yderligere 120 tørre pladser. Nogle af kajpladserne kan rumme megayachter på op til 60 meter i længden.

Marinaen har masser af parkeringspladser, og tankstationen ligger på ydersiden af marinaen.

Die Region Dubrovnik mit der gleichnamigen Stadt ist eine Exklave Kroatiens in dem adriatischen Teil des Mittelmeeres. Dubrovnik ist geografisch nicht mit dem Hauptteil Kroatiens verbunden, sondern durch den Meereszugang von Bosnien und Herzegowina von diesem getrennt. Möchte man auf dem Landweg von Zagreb oder Split nach Dubrovnik, muss dieser schmale Teil Bosniens und Herzegowinas durchquert werden.  

Dubrovnik ist aber nicht nur geografisch, sondern auch kulturell außergewöhnlich. Die Stadt trägt die Bezeichnungen „Perle der Adria“ sowie „Kroatisches Athen“, welche auf die herausragende Stellung der Stadt verweisen. Sie war seit jeher ein wichtiges kulturelles Zentrum und Heimat zahlreicher Künstler, Dichter, Physiker und Mathematiker. Überdies spielte Dubrovnik eine maßgebliche Rolle bei der Entwicklung der kroatischen Sprache. Das reiche kulturelle Erbe der Stadt wurde 1979 geschützt, als die architektonisch wertvolle Altstadt als UNESCO Weltkulturerbe anerkannt wurde. Der Beiname „Perle der Adria“ resultiert aus der Tatsache, dass Dubrovnik als eine der schönsten Städte des gesamten Mittelmeerraumes gilt.
