She is a custom built yacht from the Yaetti shipyard, originally set up in Vienna, Austria in 1987, in cooperation with the Horizon shipyard, which is the 5th largest super yacht shipyard in the world.

After a complete retrofitting in Fort Lauderdale and having made her way through the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Panama Canal, La Dolce Vita is finally stationed out of Marina del Rey, CA.

She is one of 7 ever built and to our knowledge the ONLY one of 7 in the US. She was the custom spec yacht for the CEO of Yaretti and has every option available at the time of completion. Including but not limited to full hull stabilization. This means that at the touch of a button she can reduce 85% of the roll unlike most yachts in her class. This in turn eliminates sea sickness as it prevents the yacht from rolling side to side. This luxury option along with a 16 ft laid to teak submersible swim platform, recently refinished teak cap rails, is what makes her the best of the 7 ever built.

Thanks to her twin Caterpillar Twin Turbo super yacht engines each providing 1,000 hp, she can cruise at 18kn comfortably, consuming only around 250 L/H of fuel and reaching speeds up to 22kn. Her best features are her lovely design and presence, permanent managing team on board, and excellent itineraries.

Pricing for 2022:

Saturday, Sunday: $1,000 per hour, minimal 3 hours

Monday – Friday: $917 per hour, minimal 3 hours. 1,000 per hour after first 3 hours.

Pricing includes: Yacht rentals, coastal cruising fuel, Captain & crew service from 3rd party, local tax etc. Captain or crews are hired directly by customers, their base salary has been included, however gratuity is highly appreciated

History of Marina del Rey

Originally called the Playa del Rey estuary and inlet the Marina del Rey area has always been ideally located and rich in beauty and nature, catching the attention of many ambitious developers over the years. Starting in 1887, with M.C. Wicks who wanted to create LA’s first commercial harbor. While Mr. Wicks ended up going bankrupt and didn’t see the project through it was proposed again in 1916 and 1937, eventually losing to San Pedro.

Despite the loss, the desire to develop the area continued and thanks to the Army Corps of Engineers a proposal was submitted and approved to create a harbor. It’s not 100% clear how the new name of Marina del Rey was chosen, but rumors state that then Los Angeles County Supervisor Burton Chace was behind it. The Marina del Rey harbor officially opened on April 10, 1965.

Today Marina Del Rey is one of the highlights of Los Angeles. Offering the beauty of the sea to all who journey there. Making it an ideal place to charter a yacht and see the sights. Venice Beach

Today, Venice beach is one of the biggest tourist destinations in the world, just as the it’s founder Abbot Kinney had planned. Founded in 1905, Kinney turned the marshland into a Los Angelian highlight, Venice was a beach side resort with multiple piers and amusements. Eventually Venice was annexed into the city of Los Angeles in 1925, after it had fallen into disrepair due to bankruptcy. When they discovered the land was on top of “black gold” aka oil the entire area and much of LA was littered with oil rigs, destroying the natural beauty of the area. As the area became affordable it attracted immigrants and creatives, aka beatniks in the 50's and hippies in the 60’s. Creating the rich counterculture that Venice is famous for today. Eventually Venice was cleaned up by the city of LA and the rich diverse community created was an area commonly labeled as “"a cultural hub known for its eccentricities."

Venice (fishing) Pier

Originally this 1,310-foot (400 m) pier first opened in 1965, but this angler favorite is a reconstruction of the original, because of the El Nino storms of 1983 which destroyed everything but the pilings. Thanks to the 4,000-ton, artificial quarry-rock reef that was placed around the outer 750 feet of the old Venice pier.

North of the Venice Pier is the most central LA surfing spot. Sheltered on the north by an artificial rock barrier combined with sand buildup on the seafloor has created a favorite surf spot for locals and tourists looking for a taste of the LA life.

Marine, marina, harbor, yacht club, port — not exactly synonyms, but close. A marina provides safe dockage for vessels of all sizes, often offering supplies, repair, and other facilities to those who rent a slip. A quick (but unreliable) Google search told us that there at about 12,000 marinas in the United States.

Whether that’s true or not, that’s a lot to sift through. But we did it — we found the top 10 superyacht marinas in the U.S.

1. Yacht Haven Grande | Miami, Florida

“Welcome to Miami” is the vibe when you step off the yacht and into Yacht Haven Grande by Island Gardens. This marina is nothing short of flash and accommodates some of the largest superyachts in the world. 

This Miami marina was specifically designed to host mega yachts reaching 500+ feet in length, plus accommodation for smaller tenders. Onsite amenities include a luxury lounge, conference room, mail and package delivery, concierge service, BBQ area for crew, and water taxi to select Miami waterfronts. Yacht Haven Grande is a true marina destination, and one of the finest in the world.

2. Gurney’s Star Island Marina | Montauk, New York

All the way at the End of the World (as Montauk, NY is so often referred to), is Gurney’s Star Island Marina . It’s part of a larger resort and therefore offers plenty of amenities for boat owners who book a slip. Despite a sense of exclusivity, Gurney’s Star Island Marina does not require a membership. 

The marina can accommodate yachts up to 220 feet with a maximum draft of 12 feet. Boat guests have full access to Gurney’s Star Island facilities and amenities, including laundry services, a private beach, a fitness center, heated pools, tennis courts, and waterfront dining options. It’s a welcome land excursion for yacht charters in New England .

3. Bahia Mar Yachting Center | Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Smack dab in the heart of Fort Lauderdale is the Bahia Mar Resort and Yachting Center (also home to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show ). It’s all about the amenities when you dock at Bahia Mar, which includes access to a swimming pool, fitness center, entertainment concierge, diving and sailing tours, and dining options. Oh, and the beach is right across the street. 

The marina is separated into the South Basin and the North Basin, with the resort, parking, shops, and restaurants conveniently in the middle. Bahia Mar holds 250 slips and can accommodate vessels up to 300 feet in length. Facilities include fueling, free WiFi, cable television, and pump out. 4. Safe Harbor Charleston City | Charleston, South Carolina

Safe Harbor has locations all over the west and east coasts, but its marina in Charleston , South Carolina is one of the best superyacht marinas in the United States. It’s home to the Mega Dock (dun, dun duunn), which hosts some of the most prestigious yachts in the world.

Charleston is a premier boating destination , and the marina’s state-of-the-art facilities and southern hospitality are a welcome respite after a big day on the water. Yachts that book a slip at Safe Harbor receive complimentary wifi, shore power hookups, freshwater hookups, and cable TV hookups. They also have a full marine service, fuel dock, and waterfront restaurant. Marina del Rey hosts one of the largest marinas in the U.S. It can accommodate vessels up to 150 feet in length and up to 5,000 yachts year-round. Californians do things big — the marina has hotel rooms, restaurants, a Denison office , a movie theater, paddleboard rentals, and a shopping center (among other amenities ). It’s a short drive to/from Santa Monica for the beach or LAX to catch a flight. When you book a slip at Marina del Rey Marina, you’ll get security, fresh water, power, ice delivery, wash and fold delivery, and dockside shuttle service.

6. Farley State Marina | Atlantic City, New Jersey

Pick Up/Drop Off Location:  Behind El Torito at 13715 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey, CA  90292. (called Dock 55)  When facing the water, it’s located to the right of El Torito restaurant.

Can we bring our own food aboard?

Yes!  We have a fridge, freezer, ice maker, cooler and grill. 

Plenty of room for whatever you're looking to drink and snack on.

Can we bring alcohol aboard Bella?

It would be weird if you didn't. As long as guests are over 21, you are welcome to bring and drink whatever you like.

*Please no Red Wine or Cranberry juice. If you drink, do it responsibly*

Is Bella kid-friendly?

Absolutely, guests of all ages are welcome.

If anyone has a tendency to get motion sick or sea sick, please be sure to take something ahead of time.

Is Bella dog-friendly?

While we love our dogs, it is not appropriate to have them aboard.  Space is limited and they can shed a lot.

Out of respect to ALL guests, we ask that you leave your furry friend at home, ESA's included.

How many people can we have in our group?

12 Max.  1-6 guests for our Standard Contract or 7-12 guests for a Bare-Boat Contract. Captain and Crew do not count in the number of passengers. We're happy to help you with the details, please e-mail us [email protected]

Can we smoke aboard Bella?

NO.  Just below your seats are 350 gallons of diesel fuel, plus we want to keep the boat nice for a long time to come, and burn holes are hard to repair.  You can vape responsibly.

What about weed, man?

Since we will be on federal waters and marijuana is not federally legal, that's a big NO .  You can leave the drugs at home... you're going to have a great time without them.

Have a question before booking, cancellation  policy + damage.

Late Arrivals: The City controls Dock 55 for loading and unloading passengers. We have to arrange times in advance with a 15 minute time-slot with the city for our pick-ups and drop-offs. If you’re late it will count against your time.

Cancellation Policy:

Your deposit reserves the boat, a captain, a crew member and the county dock. 

If a charter is canceled within 7 days of the charter date or no cancellation received, the full deposit is forfeited by the client.  

Any cancellation greater than 7 days from the charter date will be subject to a $250 cancellation fee to cover expenses of pre-paying the county dock, the credit card transaction fee, committing to captain and crew member, and administrative fees. The balance will be returned to you within 7 days.

Holds Boat, Time/Date, Captain and Crew Member

This security deposit is necessary for damages or excessive messes that require additional or professional cleaning. For example: Upholstery tears, carpet stains, bodily fluid clean up.

Outsourced cleaning or repairs will be billed for the amount to repair + 15% Service fee

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
