The island’s location at the southernmost tip of the continental US allows for unobstructed views of the sun sinking into the horizon, painting the sky with fiery oranges, deep pinks, and purples. This nightly spectacle, coupled with the relaxed island atmosphere, draws visitors and locals alike to celebrate the beauty of a day’s end in Key West.

The green flash, sometimes spotted in Key West sunsets, is a fleeting emerald shimmer that appears just as the sun dips below the horizon. This rare phenomenon occurs due to the way sunlight bends in Earth’s atmosphere, briefly separating the sun’s colors and allowing a glimpse of green.

Seeing wildlife on a Key West sunset cruise is possible, but not guaranteed. Dolphins are frequent visitors, and you might spot sea turtles, manta rays, or even sharks depending on the day. Keep your eyes peeled and listen for splashes – the sunset might come with an unexpected animal encounter!

At maximum capacity, the trip will hold a total of 125 guests and the average number of guests may vary depending on the time of the year. There are a total of 3 decks to spread out for the duration of the trip including a shade deck, an upper deck, and the sun deck that can also double for your dance floor!

Absolutely! Restrooms are a feature of our catamarans. You can expect to find marine bathroom facilities onboard for your comfort.

Your ticket includes a selection of refreshing drinks to enjoy the sunset cruise. Sip on unlimited sodas, water, margaritas, and draft beers like Cat 5 Key Lime Lager, and Michelob ULTRA, or choose from Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. You can even toast to the amazing Key West sunset with a glass of champagne!

The Sunset Cruise features live music from the island’s best singers and songwriters, creating a relaxing and authentic Key West atmosphere as you sail into the sunset.

Our Key West sunset cruises depart from and return to the historic seaport, conveniently located at the corner of Greene St. and Elizabeth St., right next to The Conch Republic Seafood Company.

No, we do not provide parking at any of our check in locations, but you can use street parking, pay to park lots or parking garages.

It is necessary for Fury to collect your paid in full voucher and give you a boarding pass. This helps us maintain an accurate count for the Coast Guard. You will also be required to fill out various liability waiver forms for the activities.

Yes! To receive a military discount on any Fury trip, please book through the MWR office on Key West’s Sigsbee base by calling 305-293-4174.

Most Fury tours will require the minor guest’s  nautral parent be present at check in to sign them in. Please call 888-976-0899 for specific policy details for your preferred tour.

Yes! Fury operates 365 days a year. Be sure to check out our Special Trips & Events to see if we are running any special Holiday trips.

Fury Water Adventures does not operate in unsafe weather conditions, but a light rain shower is not a deterrent. The Captain will assess the weather and should the Captain determine that the conditions are unsafe to run the tour, the tour may be postponed or it will be canceled. If a trip is canceled by Fury Water Adventures for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund. Every effort will be made to run tours, as advertised. Should Fury have to amend or alter your tour due to extraneous circumstances, tickets remain non-refundable on tours taken.

All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your trip’s scheduled departure time. To place a cancellation, please call 1-888-976-0899 or email [email protected] and refer to the confirmation number at the top of your confirmation document. Failure to place a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance will result in your credit card being charged the full amount of the reserved. No refunds will be issued for reservations cancelled within 24 hours of departure, unless reservation refund protection was purchased. Please note that failure to show for the reserved trip  without cancellation will result in no refund. If a trip is cancelled by Fury Water Adventures® for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay in Key West. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a refund.

Fury has a 24 hour notice cancellation policy to receive a refund. Guests can purchase Reservation Refund Protection for a 10% fee to be eligible to cancel or transfer tickets up to 1 hour prior to their scheduled departure. All you have to do is email a request to [email protected] no later than 1 hour in advance of your reservation time.

Reservation refund protection fees are 100% non-refundable in the event of any cancellation or reservation change.

Fury allows service animals only. A service animal is any dog that has been trained to perform tasks to benefit an individual.  The work performed must be directly related to the individuals disability.  According the ADA service animals for emotional support, therapy, comfort or companionship are not considered service animals.

The guest requiring the service animal must be in possession of the animal at all times. Due to the nature of Fury tours,  guest and service animal  may  be required to remain on the boat for the entirety of the tour . This is to ensure the guest’s safety as well as that of the service animal, Key West wildlife, other guests, captain and crew.

We had the BEST time on our dolphin tour with Captain Trevor!!! My kids loved him so much and he was VERY patient with all their questions. He also told them fun stories and let us have some time at the beach. 10 out of 10…definitely recommend!

We took a sunset cruise with Paradise Adventures and it was spectacular! The kids were in heaven seeing dolphins and riding on the net at the front of the catamaran. What a cool experience. We were in heaven sampling the delicious drinks (try the Privateer Punch!) and watching the beautiful sunsets! A storm rolled in and the captain even got us back just in time for us to make it to our car before it started raining. Highly recommend for a fun family experience.

This trip was AMAZING! I have never seen so many dolphins and I highly recommend this. Gordon kept us all entertained and kept the kids involved...he especially looked after my 11 year old and had him help dock the boat! My wife and I were in PCB and wanted to do a Sunset Cruise. This cruise fit the bill to a T and the pier for boarding ended up within walking distance of our lodging accommodations. The staff was very professional, safety was stressed appropriately, and the cruise left on time and return on time as well. It was a cool evening, but the sun came out and it was perfect. The captain and staff were fabulous. We ended up seeing a school of sting rays as well as numerous dolphins. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Paradise Adventures Catamaran.

The captain, first mate, and the boat were first class. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. We got to see the dolphins up close and took some fantastic sunset pics right on the catamaran. I would recommend this trip. Also liked the smaller catamaran the Footloose. Less folks but VERY stable boat for the trip.

What is your cancellation policy.

Customer Cancellations: Must be requested via calling or emailing no less than 48hrs before trip departure for a full refund. No shows or late arrivals will be charged the full ticket price.

Weather Cancellations : If your trip’s departure may be impacted by weather, our captains will reach out via text and email with as much advance notice as possible. Should the trip be canceled, guests are entitled to be refunded, rebooked, or receive a gift card in accordance with the cancellation policy associated with their ticket.

Is there a bathroom on board?

Yes there is a restroom on board that is cleaned and sanitized daily!

What time should we arrive?

Please plan to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to your scheduled departure for boarding.

Is there parking available?

Yes! We have designated free parking for all of our customers.

Are we allowed to bring food?

Yes! Guests are more than welcome to bring their own snacks or light fare.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

For insurance purposes, outside alcohol is not permitted and may be confiscated for the duration of your trip. Don’t worry, our bar will be fully stocked!

What is available at the bar?

Our bar features a small selection of water, soda, beer, wine, and RTD Cocktails: $1 Water; $3 Coke, Sprite, Diet Coke; Michelob Ultra; $7 Corona, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Moscato, NUTRL Vodka Seltzer, Cutwater Mojito.

How do we get off at the beach?

For our island stops, we use a series of steps from the front of our boat to the sand. Typically, you can step right from the boat/steps to the sand. However, on occasion, it may be up to ankle deep.

What should we wear?

Comfort is key! Swimming is discouraged during the island stop due to strong tidal currents. Guests are encouraged to dress as they feel comfortable for their evening with easily removable shoes for their walk on the beach. Keep in mind, being on the water in the evening is about 10 degrees colder than is forecasted, so a windbreaker or light jacket is always safe.

Is your vessel handicap accessible?

Unfortunately we are not handicap accessible at this time. Guests with limited mobility (i.e. walkers, canes) should call our office prior to booking. A good rule of thumb is if the limited mobility passenger is able to make it up 2-3 standard stairs with assistance. Our crew is always here to help and eager to share our memorable trip with all!

Yes! Nor’Banks provides clean and comfortable life vests for your entire party. We have plenty of children’s life vests in less than 30 lbs., 30-50 lbs. and 50-90 lbs. sizes. Life vests are required for children under 13.

Unfortunately your four legged friends will have to sit this one out.

Yes! You will have a captain and crew. If you’re interested in taking a turn at the helm, speak with your captain!

Surfer girl is certified by the coast guard for up to 18 passengers or 3000 pounds in addition to the captain and crew. This is a strict legal limit, regardless of the size of the passengers. We allow online booking for up to 15 passengers for your private cruise. If you believe that your group of 16-18 passengers plus gear is under 3000 pounds, please call to book your charter!

Yes! You are welcome to bring drinks and food.

Yes! You may bring beer and white wine. Please refrain from bringing red wine (it stains), liquor or glass beer bottles.

We require 48 hours notice for a refund. No refund will be issued within 48 hours unless inclement weather prevents your trip. Light wind or cloudy skies are not grounds for cancellation.

Yes! You can book up to a maximum of four hours. If you have any questions about how much time would be best for your group, please call us at 252-261-2900.

Yes, they do. The United States Coast Guard considers every person, except for the Captain and crew toward the 18 passenger limit.

We highly recommend arriving 30 minutes before your cruise is scheduled to depart. If you’re running late, please contact us and let us know.

We have a marine head aboard. We encourage you to use the restroom prior to departure.

Yes, your crew works for tips!  As with other service industries, tips are discretionary based on your satisfaction with the service provided by your captain and crew. A customary tip is 18-25% of your charter or ticket.

Sail aboard our new Maine Cat 38, Surfer Girl! The boat will be sailed by a U.S.C.G. certified captain and mate, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride. Built to strict U.S. Coast Guard standards, Surfer Girl is comfortable and stable but also fast and exciting to sail.

Taking everyone from old salts to first-timers, you find yourself relaxed and realizing why you’re on vacation — to be here on the water in West Grand Traverse Bay. Cruises range from 1.5 to 2.5 hours long, depending on the time of day.

Has anyone that experiences motion sickness on car and boat been on this Catamaran?

I have been on this Catamaran and witnessed someone that has motion sickness but not me personally. The staff on the catamaran was very attentive and took care of her by giving her water and I believe there are medicines on board.

Such a fun time! They pick up and drop off right from Waikiki beach. Mary, Justin, and Jay were killer captains and hosts. They even caught a big fish while we were sailing which was an awesome experience. I always recommend going out for a sail with this boat anytime someone I know visits Oahu.

When my bestie told me she booked us a catamaran for my 41st birthday I never could have imagined how epic it would be. The music, the drinks, the views & the crew were top tier. Thank You Stevie, Caleb & Noah, a new tradition has been born!

Wonderful sunset cruise along w/ good drinks & music. Great access right off of the beach in Waikiki at the Westin Surfrider Hotel. Stay after and have dinner in their patio under the Banyan tree Nice music there too.

Service was great from the crew. They checked on all the guests. It was a fun tour but the sunset wasn't great. Definitely in a very touristy part of town but still fun. On Fridays the have fireworks on the same beach this takes place on, you just have to walk further down the beach. More booze cruise vibes then peaceful sunset but still fun.

5-stars - Very accommodating to our schedule! We were originally reserved for the Kewalo Basin sunset sail but it was cancelled due to low attendance; at which point the company reserved two for us automatically at the Waikiki location. Great customer service!

It would hard to enjoy a boat ride where unlimited booze is offered. Na Hoku offers a short sail in the bay and the price is relatively reasonable provided you drink up. The mood is festive and having the breeze against your face cannot be beat. The boat advertises an hour ours ran about 45 minutes.

Awesome experience in Waikiki - definitely a fave from our trip to Hawaii. Reservations, checkin and boarding were all very smooth. We did the sunset sail and enjoyed all the drinks and views - it helped we had a stunning sunset. Highly recommend for a unique experience in Honolulu. I will say it was pretty choppy but I took a dramamine prior to going out and didn't feel sick at all. Fun crew; would absolutely book again.

Sunset cruise

great value experience. I found the yellow and red boat in front of Duke's at 11am. I did a walk-in; I paid $35 per person for all u can drink (beers and mixed drinks). It was actually 90 minutes including the half hour we drank onboard when it was docked. It was a windy day so the ride was inevitably bumpy. I highly recommend it for people who don't get sea sick.

Booked a sunset cruise the day before. Drinks are included which is great for the price! The sun set just as we were arriving into the harbor. Everyone working on board was friendly and very communicative. Keep in mind when booking this cruise- it's VERY LOUD, some of the music is obnoxious techno but otherwise good tunes. The mixed drinks are a 2/5, go for the beer. I would not recommend bringing any children under 15.
