She accommodates 10-12 guests in five beautifully spacious staterooms; One master, two VIP and two twin cabins with a Pullman berth each, all with en suite facilities. The interior of this modern Greek yacht is vibrant and trendy. There is ample room for all guests to come together and enjoy some of the many entertainment facilities provided on board such as LCD TV, Bose Home Theatre System with over 200 movies or even Playstation. Wifi is accessible in all areas of the vessel.  After the sun sets, the funky lilac ceiling lights create a fun contemporary vibe and the perfect ambiance to enjoy an evening drink.

Accommodation

Modern Greek yacht Paris A can sleep a maximum of 12 guests in her five comfortable and chic cabins. The master and VIP suites are all as stunning and inviting as each other. Each has a luxurious kind-sized bed as well as a plush and full-equipped ensuite. Each of the remaining twin-rooms are equally as charming and splendid consisting of two single beds and a pullman. Guests are guaranteed a slumber of dreams no matter where they reside.

The upper deck is the perfect place to kick back with an evening cocktail and watch the evening sunset. This place is home to a comfortable lounge area, dining area and even a mini bar. Sun beds are also provided for those sun-gods and goddesses who want to work on their tan. The bow features a luxurious shaded seating and sunbathing area for those who want to escape the rays and unwind with a book or magazine in the shade. If that wasn’t enough, the aft of the yacht has another spacious dining area and bar which is beautifully set and meal times. What an ideal setting for a delightful dinner with an even more delightful view.

Paris A is a Greek flagged luxury charter yacht built by Fipa Yachts launched in 2009 as Maiora 35DP model. Naval architecture and sleek exterior design is by Roberto Del Re, while her light, relaxing and classic interior by Fipa Yachts designers. She boasts beautiful, spacious fly-bridge offering a bar with two stools, BBQ, L-shaped sofa with Al-fresco dining table and second navigation station, while her fore deck offers large sunbathing area and a seating area. Main deck aft offers an Al-fresco table with the chairs, a bar with stools and stairs on both sides to large swimming platform. Her salon features two large L-shaped sofas on each side, two coffee tables and formal dining table based forward.

Paris A luxurious charter motor boat sleeps up to ten plus two charter guests in five air conditioned cabins with individual cabin controls. VIP cabin is based on the main deck level forward of salon and offers a king sized bed, a sofa on the port side, wardrobe and spacious en-suite with the shower. Full beam master cabin is situated on the lower deck along with all other cabins. Master cabin also features a king sized bed, sofa, table, wardrobe and large en-suite with bathtub and shower. Full beam VIP cabin based on the lower deck offers king sized bed and spacious en-suite, while her two twin cabins offers two single beds, Pullman bunk bed in each and en-suites with the rain showers. Paris A offers following audio-visual gear to her guests: large flat LCD TV’s, SAT TV, DVD players, server with movies library, Home Theater System and Bose sound system, iPod docking stations, PlayStation gaming console with several games and WiFi internet connection via 3G/4G router.

We use HYBA (Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association) contract that is designed to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.

Golden Yachts was established in 1996 and is a trusted specialist in high-end large yacht construction and major refit projects, with its affiliated premises located in Greece. Golden Yachts is able to draw on its experience and knowledge of different sectors within the maritime industry.

The first and the second-generation owners of Golden Yachts are active in the Greek shipping industry and combine their commercial shipping experience and expertise to their successful charter business platform (taking into consideration the insights of owners, charter clients, Captains and crews) resulting to an overall evolving the Golden Yachts brand.

Golden Yachts is proud to have successfully delivered to date, the 56-metre O’Mathilde (refit), the 46- metre My Eden (refit), the 51-metre Jaz by Amels (refit) and the 56-metre O’Natalina by Picchiotti (refit), all forming part of the shipyards first batch of refit projects.

The company invested in its own project and engineering teams, gearing up for refit projects but also working towards bringing new yacht construction in-house. This came to fruition in 2007 with the launch of the first GY 50 series yacht, O’Ptasia (now Vertigo), O’Neiro and O’Rama.

New shipyard facilities followed in 2010, and in 2011 the award-winning semi-displacement 39.5-metre O’Pati emerged. The 2010s marked a change of pace for Golden Yachts which upped its rhythm with the construction of the 71.85-metre O’Pari3, launched in 2015, the 85-metre O’Ptasia (2018) and the 95-metre O’Pari (2020), all of which confirm the company’s push to significantly larger builds. After the delivery of the 88m PROJECT X (2022) new build projects include the 78m yacht O’REA, the 60m O’EVA and the 35m O’NEIRO.

“Therefore, it takes a really special beach club to impress the judges. And on that score, Project X did not disappoint. It is an innovative space that simultaneously showcases a museum-quality tender, serves as a launch pad for watersports, a lobby lounge for the spa, a games area and provides a lounge experience in its own right. The key element of the warm and welcoming space is a circular seating area the designer describes as a “spinning nest”.

Wooden slats rise up from the backrests and integrate with the haloed ceiling to act as an architectural backdrop. But far from being confining or static, the sofas and their backdrop rotate and split into sections to provide various views through opening hull doors or, alternatively, to allow the stunning bar to be the focus”.

The 56.2m/184'5" motor yacht 'Paris' (ex. Katamarino) was built by Amels in the Netherlands at their Makkum shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Struik & Hamerslag and she was delivered to her owner in June 1991. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Jack Hargrave and she was last refitted in 1994.

Paris has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 13 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Range & Performance

Paris is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512B) 12-cylinder 1,501hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 15,547 nautical miles from her 180,000 litre fuel tanks at 14 knots. 📍 FYLY Paros yacht charter base is located in: Parikia Marina, Paros, 84400, Greece.

⚓ Parikia Marina, Paros Berthing – 37°05.4′N, 25°08.9′E

🧭 Parikia is the main commercial harbor of the island. It is a fairly busy and noisy harbor but it is an excellent shelter form the meltemi and from the south winds. Moor stern-to in the Yacht Quay in Parikia paying particular attention to the boulders near the quay 3 metres on outside of west end less further east. The bottom is sand and weed — good holding. Laundry – Opposite Graveyard. Pick up and delivery to boat. Phone +30 6974 394887. There are permanent moorings inside the Yacht harbor. Charter boats use the harbor on weekends so a space may be difficult to find from Friday night through Sunday morning.

• 🕡 Disembarkation time: Clients must arrive back at base the day before the end of their charter, latest at 18:00 PM for check out procedures (technical check, refuel, diver’s check, etc). They have free overnight & they can disembark the yacht the next day at 09:00 AM

🗺️ How to get to FYLY charter base in Parikia Marina marina in Paros:

• ✈️ Paros National Airport: The airport was located in the southwestern part of the island, about 10 kilometers from the port of Parikia.
• 🚕 Taxi: You can find easily taxis at Paros airport & near Parikia Marina.

🛒 Provisioning: Clients can either go to the super market located around Parikia (open all-day, every day except Sunday) upon their arrival or they can pre-order (upon request) their provisions and FYLY Yachting team will arrange their delivery to their yacht. If they want to pre-order we will provide them a provisioning list.

🚇 Transfer facilities: FYLY Yachting could arrange a transfer for you by minibus or by taxi (upon request).

• 🚕 Taxi prebooked – up to 4 pax: approx € 50
• 🚌 Private Bus – up to 10 pax: approx € 100

🛂 Port authorities: Our base manager will arrange everything with Port Authorities. The only thing we require from the skipper of the charter is to have with him his original sailing license and to send a copy of it two weeks prior to his charter. 🌦️ Weather forecast: You should always try to get a weather forecast before sailing away, especially if going more than several miles from shore, as it is difficult to tell at a glance what winds will appear, due to large landmasses, mountains and other geographical features. You can use your radio, Navtex or contact the Port Police. A forecast in Greek and English is given for all Greek waters at 06:00, 10:00, 16:00, 22:00 (GMT+2). Gale warnings are given at the beginning of the broadcast and a special security warning on Ch 16 gives all the VHF frequencies for different areas. VHF channel 16 broadcasts Gale Warnings as well as regular forecasts, upon vessel request. OLYMPIA RADIO broadcasts pre-recorded Weather and Sea bulletins in Greek and English.

HISTORY OF PAROS

Due to the findings on the islet of Saliagos, located between Paros and Antiparos, we know that the island has been inhabited since 3200 BC. According to mythology, the first king of Paros, Cretan Alkaios built a city on the site of the present capital of Parikia. Back then, Crete was trading with Egypt, the Balkans and Assyria.

Thanks to its central of the Cyclades location and fertile land, Paros became a perfect strategic spot where the Cretans built a naval station, calling it Minoa , a title in honor to Royal Cretan cities. In 1100 BC, the Ionians came to conquer the island and destroyed Minoans’ civilization becoming rulers of Paros.

Paros carries traces of Macedonian empire domination which was the prosperous period for the great discoveries like the ancient pottery workshop in Tholos, with its beautiful artworks, and the ancient cemetery of Parikia. Other influences come from Byzantine Empire rule when Paros’s inhabitants converted to Christianity, building many churches, chapels, and monasteries. Among those, the most famous is the Church of Ekatontapiliani in Parikia , considered the most important Byzantine monument in Greece.

Venetians and the Turkish rule also left marks in historical monuments, buildings, and churches. After the Greek Revolution in 1821 , Paros gained Independence and became part of the modern Greek State.

The main, organized beach of Monastiri is a well-protected and secluded shore located within Agios Ioannis Detis’ rocky bay. It’s a big beach with white sand and shallow waters perfect for swimming, water sports, and seaside activities. You can also experience the wonderful scenery of the Park by hiking along the 3 existing charted Walking Paths, spanning over 7km and varying from easy to moderate. Admiring the captivating sunset at Cape Corakas Lighthouse will be worth the long hike!

Located near Parikia, the Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani (Virgin Mary of the Hundred Doors) is one of the oldest churches in Paros. Tradition says that the church has 99 doors and a secret door will open when the church of Hagia Sofia in Constantinople will be Orthodox again. The small Venetian Castle in the old port of Naoussa was built in the 15th century and served as a watchtower. Only a part of this fortress survived and now it’s the most characteristic place of the town.

The Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani : Just near the port of Parikia, the Monastery of Panagia Ekatontapiliani is one of the most preserved Paleo-Christian sites in all of Greece. Believed to have been built by Saint Constantine, the first Emperor of Constantinople, in the 4th-century AD, this church pays homage to the Assumption of the Virgin; the result of a promise made to the Virgin by Saint Helene, Constantine’s mother. Having changed over the years due to Paleo-Christian, Byzantine, and post-Byzantine influences, this church is unlike any other. With a name like Ekatontapiliani, Greek for “the Church with the Hundred Doors,” this church is rumored to have 99 doors. In keeping with tradition, it is believed that a secret door will open when the church of Hagia Sofia in Constantinople becomes Orthodox again.

Parikia : Also called Paros Town or Hora, Parikia, the capital of Paros, sits on the same site where the ancient city and capital used to rule Greece. Built around the island’s port, Parikia is recognizable by its white, cubed houses and vibrant wooden doors and balconies. Near the port itself, a whitewashed windmill stands tall; a symbol of Paros.
