Frequently Asked Questions

What Should I look for Before Buying a Yacht?

Key considerations before buying a yacht include your preferences, intended use, and staying informed about the market. Attending yacht shows or chartering can help define your needs. Working with a knowledgable broker ensures accurate pricing and a seamless buying experience.

How do I buy a yacht?

Speak to your Y.CO Broker who will advise on pricing, offering market comparisons and analysis reports. They will also arrange sea trials and inspections, supported by Y.CO's technical team. Your Y.CO Broker will collect documents and collaborate with all parties for agreement completion.

Can I View the Yacht Before I Purchase?

Yes - in fact it is highly recommended to view as many yachts as possible during the purchase process. Your Y.CO Broker will assist in creating a shortist of yachts, organise private visits, accompany you on board and will help you ask the right questions.

What Happens after Offer Acceptance?

After acceptance of the offer, a sea trial and haul out will be arranged on your behalf. This allows your Y.CO broker, our technical experts and an independent yacht surveyor to verify that all the systems on board the vessel perform as specified.

Superyacht sales took a dive in 2023 over surging costs, russian oligarch sanctions.

Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Sales of superyachts — luxury boats more than 100 feet long — fell 17% in 2023, according to a new report that attributed the dip to soaring costs, long waiting lists and sanctions of Russian oligarchs.

According to the SuperYacht Times’ latest State of Yachting report, there were only 203 sales of new superyachts last year — down from 245 in 2022 and a record 313 in 2021.

Ralph Dazert, head of intelligence at SuperYacht Times, noted that there are year-long backlogs to score a luxury vessel that originated during the pandemic, when costs were cheaper, CNBC earlier reported.

Since then, costs of operating a yacht, including labor and material prices, have skyrocketed — pricing aspiring superyacht owners out of the already exclusive market.

Densely packed luxury yachts, sailing ships, and speedboats at the Boot 2024 trade fair in Messe Düsseldorf building

A buyer placing an order for a new superyacht more than 200 feet long today, for example, should expect to wait as long as four years to actually enjoy the glittering asset, Dazert told CNBC.

Superyachts of this size, more than 200 feet to roughly 650 feet, took the biggest sales hit in 2023, falling 40%.

And this year, Dazert told CNBC that he’s expecting new superyacht sales to “go down a little bit further this year” given the continued costs and delays.

The main reason for the hefty drop: Russian oligarchs have dropped out of the market following the Ukraine invasion by the country in 2022, according to SuperYacht Times’ report.

“The Russians were prone to ordering very extravagant and very large yachts,” Dazert told CNBC.

The US government has seized multiple vessels owned by Russian billionaires — including one called Amadea owned by Suleiman Kerimov, a money launderer who profited from the Kremlin.

Russian Council of Federation Senator, Suleyman Kerimov, in a suit and tie, seen prior to Russian President Vladimir Putin's Federal Assembly annual speech in Grand Kremlin Palace, Moscow.

Amadea, the 348-foot vessel that was seized at the request of the US government in Fiji in April 2022 , has since cost American taxpayers $600,000 a month to maintain.

The hefty monthly tab includes $360,000 in payments to the crew, plus $75,000 for fuel and $165,000 in other maintenance, like waste removal and food, according to court papers filed by the US in Manhattan earlier this year.

Authorities are also on the hook for Amadea’s $1.7 million annual insurance bill and have therefore asked a judge to sell the superyacht after it undergoes $5.6 million in repairs.

Sanctioned Russian businessman Viktor Vekselberg also had his $90 million, 255-foot superyacht , Tango, seized in Spain last March at the request of the US government.

The US has hoped that by seizing the property of wealthy Russian leaders, it will punish them for backing the war.

Jeff Bezos' $500 million sailing superyacht, Koru, with a figurehead carved in the likeness of his fiancee Lauren Sanchez, featuring three decks and a helicopter landing pad

However, not all superyacht owners are Russian.

Per SuperYacht Times’ report, Americans accounted for nearly 25% of all sales in 2023, CNBC reported, though Americans tend to build smaller yachts compared to Middle Eastern and Russian buyers.

The average length of a Saudi-owned superyacht is 202 feet, for reference, compared to 200 feet for Russian buyers and 177 feet for the Americans, according to the report.

One American who defied the statistics: Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who purchased a $500 million, 417-foot massive superyacht named Koru last year.

Superyacht sales aren't so super

Tourists during the luxury yacht tour on the fourth day of Spring Festival holiday in Sanya, China.

The super rich are keeping their distance from superyachts — at least for the moment.

Demand for the new mega vessels, which are typically over 100 feet long, took a hit last year, declining by 17%, according to SuperYacht Times’ State of Yachting 2024 report. That was in part due to backlogged waiting lists, rising prices, and oligarch sanctions in Russia , the report said.

Only 203 superyachts were sold in 2023, the report found, a decline from the 245 sold in 2022, and the 313 sold in 2021.

Sales for the largest superyachts, which can be anywhere from 200 to 650 feet, declined the most last year, falling by 40%, the report said. That was primarily due to wealthy Russian buyers leaving the market because of the country’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, it added.

Buyers who want to purchase a superyacht over 200 feet in length will have to wait anywhere between three to four years , according to SuperYacht Times’ head of intelligence Ralph Dazert, who said that’s partly due to backlogs caused by the pandemic. The yacht industry has also been forced to increase prices because of higher labor and material costs, he added.

With rising costs and ongoing delays, Dazert said sales for new superyachts are expected to decrease “a little bit further this year.”

Superyacht sales dropped 17% last year. here’s why..

Superyacht sales fell 17 percent last year, according to an industry report. The annual survey by SuperYacht Times found that rising costs, long wait times, and the exclusion of Russian oligarchs from the superyacht world all contributed to the decline in new orders.

The annual State of Yachting report found that 203 superyacht sales were made last year. That’s down from 245 in 2022 and a record 313 the year before that. A superyacht is defined as any yacht over 90 feet.

Ralph Dazert, head of intelligence at SuperYacht Times, told CNBC that a number of factors contributed to the decline, such as the costs of operating a yacht—including running a crew, provisions and fuel—as well as post-Covid jumps in labor and material prices during the build process. The yachting industry has also been impacted by supply-chain issues that have rocked manufacturing in other sectors for two years.

Dazert added that backlogs of builds that started during record demand three to four years ago are also impacting the decision to buy. A buyer ordering a yacht today could wait more than four years before taking delivery, especially if the yacht is a bespoke vessel.

The top of the market has been most effected, according to the report, with orders for yachts between 200 and 600 feet, declining by 40 percent. Smaller vessels between 100 and 200 feet also saw order drops, but they were not as dramatic. Dazert said he expects sales this year to decline a “little bit.”

The exodus of Russian oligarchs who, along with Middle Eastern royalty, typically buy the largest, most expensive vessels, also contributed to last year’s order downturn. “The Russians were prone to ordering very extravagant and very large yachts,” Dazert told CNBC.

Shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. and EU governments created an international sanctions list of Russian oligarchs supporting the regime and began to impound superyachts around the world. The sanctions targeted some very famous yachts, including Roman Abramovich’s Solaris and Eclipse , both of which escaped seizure as well as vessels that were impounded, such as the 348-foot Amadea and 255-foot Tango.

Many of these impounded vessels remain “frozen” in marinas around the world, waiting for some resolution in their status. Amadea , for instance, is costing the U.S. government nearly $1 million each month to maintain in San Diego, as federal prosecutors seek to put the boat up for sale. Other oligarchs have sailed their yachts to friendly havens such as Dubai or Istanbul, where those governments, instead of seizing yachts, have welcomed them.

Despite the shortfall in orders, the superyacht market remains buoyant. Thanks to record demand during the pandemic, superyacht deliveries last year numbered 202, up 31 percent from the previous year’s record of 278. There are now nearly 6,000 superyachts, three times as many as 2002, according to the report. “The pool of customers has expanded permanently,” Dazert said.

Joe Lewis’ $250 million superyacht, ranked among the world’s 25-most valuable, sets sail after he pays US fine

Tottenham Hotspur Football Club owner Joe Lewis

Joe Lewis’ superyacht is on the move again after spending most of the past year holed up in a Mediterranean port while the British billionaire faced insider-trading charges in the US.

His 322-foot (98-meter) Aviva — which he put up as collateral for bail —  has traveled more than 400 nautical miles from Malta to cities along Albania’s coast as well as the Greek island of Zakynthos since  he was sentenced  April 4 to three years probation, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

After departing Zakynthos earlier this week, the Tavistock Group founder’s yacht was near Kalamata in southern Greece on Thursday morning local time, the data show. It’s the most the roughly $250 million vessel has traveled in about seven months, though it’s unclear if Lewis is on board.

Lewis, 87, pledged his yacht along with his private jet to secure his release following his arrest in July. A few months later, Aviva docked until April 5 in the Maltese capital of Valletta, where it can cost as much as €750 ($800) a night to moor vessels that exceed 75 meters.

Lewis, who was scheduled to have eye surgery in London recently, was prohibited from setting foot on the yacht that has long served as part-residence, part-office while awaiting trial. He was only allowed on board after paying a $5 million fine after sentencing, which he settled soon after the verdict in Manhattan.

A representative for Lewis, who has a net worth of about $7.3 billion according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, declined to comment.

Lewis, whose global empire includes five-star hotels, private lenders and enclaves for the wealthy, launched Aviva in 2017. It includes eight guest suites, a helipad, padel tennis court, spa and a cinema. It ranked among the world’s 25-most valuable superyachts shortly after its launch, alongside those owned by Middle Eastern royals.

The yacht has also displayed works from Lewis’ private art collection, which is valued at more than $1 billion and includes pieces by Picasso, Freud, Klimt and Degas.

Events that authorities say took place on the yacht were a key piece of evidence that prosecutors used against him.

At dinner one night in September 2019, the billionaire received favorable news about Mirati Therapeutics Inc., an oncology company where he was a major investor, leading him to pass along the tip to a host of people, including the pilots of his private jet, according to US regulators.

Those pilots — Bryan “Marty” Waugh and Patrick O’Connor — were also charged with trading on inside information. O’Connor pleaded guilty to securities fraud and conspiracy and is due to be sentenced in May, while Waugh is fighting the charges.

Russian oligarchs can't buy superyachts — but rich Americans are helping to fill the void

  • Superyacht sales fell 17% in 2023, but still stayed above pre-COVID levels.
  • Sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs dented the market, but America helped split the difference.
  • Florida, where most US users base their boats, has been doing especially well, one expert said.

Insider Today

Both new and used superyacht sales of vessels longer than 100 feet fell again 2023 — in part due to sanctions imposed on Russian oligarchs.

But steady sales in America are helping to split at least some of the difference.

A total of 203 superyachts were sold globally in 2023 — a 17% drop from the 245 sold last year, according to the SuperYacht Times' annual State of Yachting report .

Related stories

That's down from 2021's peak of 313 superyacht sales — though the report notes the market still remains high above its pre-COVID levels, and that "any number over 200 is historically still a high number."

Sales for superyachts over 200 feet slowed more than their smaller counterparts due to high pricing and longer build times, according to the report. And the fallout from Russian sanctions will likely impact the market for years to come, especially with respect to the larger ships that Russians have purchased in the past.

"Russian buyers remain largely absent from the newbuild market, which has an impact on the market for large newbuilds in particular," according to the report.

That said, SuperYacht Times' head of intelligence, Ralph Dazert, told Business Insider that sales in America are helping to fill some of the void.

"The strength of the US economy just continues to defy expectations, and Florida (where most of the US owners base their boats) has been doing particularly well," Dazert said. "The top end of the market has been hit by the Russian pullout, but it is beginning to bounce back, with mainly inquiries from the US again."

The US share of overall superyacht ownership stayed steady at 23.6% from 2023 to 2024, according to the report, while Russian ownership continued to decline from 8.1% to 7.8% over the same period.

And while Americans have tended to buy slightly smaller yachts than Russians in the past, Dazert said they are gradually moving up in size.

For new superyachts longer than 130 feet, Russia's share (now at 6%) has declined over the past decade, while the US share (29%) has continued to increase, the report found.

The report concludes that the superyacht market could see "further slowdown" in 2024, citing the conflict in the Middle East and the US presidential election — an event that's sometimes thought to impact sales.

Feadship’s first full hybrid electric project 1012 takes to the sea.

The first full hybrid electric yacht by Feadship Royal Dutch Shipyards, Project 1012, emerges from ... [+] the shed at Makkum in preparation for sea trials and July delivery.

Feadship has announced the launch of their first full Hybrid Electric Class yacht, Project 1012, from Hoofdorp, The Netherlands. The yacht headed out of the shed at Makkum for sea trials in anticipation a July delivery to its Spanish owner, a repeat Feadship customer. Project 1012’s design is noteworthy inside and out, dovetailing a contemporary chamfered hull with a traditional flared bow, defining its modern classic profile.

By The Numbers

On the way to sea trials from Makkum, Feadship's 91.80-meter yacht, Project 1012, is guided away ... [+] from the shed but toward the shipyard's carbon neutral goal, Road to Zero, 2030.

Project 1012 measures 91.80 m/301’2” in length, bow to stern. Stretching across a 14.50m/47’7” beam, the yacht has a 3.90m/12’10” draft. The crisp navy-blue steel hull and bright white aluminum superstructure work well with upper decks, pleasantly curved and cleanly wrapped in uninterrupted floor to ceiling glass. The overall effect? Ultra-clean.

The propulsion system powers the yacht with two MTU 16V4000M65 main engines offering 2560kW at 1800 RPM with shaft-driven, fixed pitch propellers. Additionally, three Caterpillar C18 generators provide 465 ekW, and two PTI/PTO, Power Take-off /Power Take-in, motors provide 2 x 560 kW, with a Lithium-Ion battery capacity of 1 megawatt.

Feadship Project 1012 in 3/4 profile shows off the extended beach club and aft deck requested by the ... [+] owner as one of the reasons for building a new yacht.

The yacht’s conventional diesel propulsion mode is assisted by the e-motors which work as shaft generators, providing electricity for hotel loads and battery bank recharging. Low speed navigation is also a benefit of this hybrid system, using the power from generators or batteries to navigate marinas and tight maneuvers.

Those systems give the project a top speed of 17.5 knots, with a cruise range of 5,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.

One Of The Best TV Shows Ever Made Sets Sail On Netflix Today For The Very First Time

Netflix renews and also cancels the witcher as first glimpse of season 4 drops, bitcoin suddenly braced for a 35 trillion halving price earthquake, project 1012 design team.

The launch of another groundbreaking Feadship moves them one step closer to their 2030 neutral ... [+] carbon goal with state-of-the-art Feadship technology.

The yacht’s naval architecture was penned by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects, complemented by design from Sinot Yacht Architecture and the owner’s design resources. Additional owner requests regarding specific exterior design were well integrated owing to the owner’s long history of yachting experience.

Excellence in craftsmanship evident throughout the yacht exhibits impeccable execution of detail, turning the yacht into an “understated family home.”

Interior Details

The owner’s request for more beach club space resulted in the new design commanding 25 percent of the length of the lower deck. In addition to a large, fixed stern platform, two fold-down platforms to port and starboard contribute to 165 square meters, approximately 1776 square feet, of leisure lounging at the water’s edge. Just forward of the beach club, a side-load garage secures storage for two 10-meter tenders, a ski boat, and a bevy of additional water toys.

The large stern platform and two fold-down decks to port and starboard create a grand beach club ... [+] worthy of the 165 square meters dedicated to waterfront leisure.

Forward of the tender garage and engine room, the usual placement of a galley, crew mess, and crew cabins own the lower deck bow. From the stern beach club platform, a matched pair of sweeping staircases to port and starboard lead to the main aft deck where a large pool beckons. A shaded open air lounge tucks in under the deckhead overhang.

Guest suites and staff cabins located forward on the main deck, and master stateroom, family lounge, and wellness area on upper decks, are outfitted with natural materials and finishes. The sun deck is graced with a forward-facing sofa and sun loungers, collecting guests for sunsets, panoramas, and observation. The aft portion of the sun deck, fitted with a crane, stores two rescue tenders.

Project Manager Albert Abma comments, "Working with the experienced owner, designers, and owner's team has been a professional pleasure," continuing, “Gathering the operational experience of the owner’s team with the yard’s building experience has resulted in this modern-classic, state-of-art and full custom new Feadship”.

Feadship’s Roadmap To Zero

Project 1012 details illustrate the Feadship hallmark of craftsmanship.

As Feadship aims carefully at a carbon-neutral superyacht by 2030, Project 1012 puts them one step closer to a fuel system engaging progressive thinking, assuring every Feadship is poised to transition gracefully to new fuels.

“The crucial next step is that we need a flexible or agnostic fuel system, meaning it has to work with the fuels of today, but also those of tomorrow, as we’re not yet talking of just fuel cells for propulsion purposes,” nots Giedo Loeff, head of Feadship R & D. With that 2030 commitment, Loeff adds, “Our announcement is significant because as of now Feadship plans to build yachts with tanks and systems that are certified for a whole array of non-fossil fuels.”

Palaces, superyachts and chauffeurs: How the super rich will watch the 2024 Paris Olympics

superyacht for price

(CNN) —  This summer, crowds are expected to flock to Paris for the summer Olympic games. Prices for hotel rooms are likely to skyrocket. Tickets for even the lesser events will be eagerly sought. And almost every aspect of visiting the French capital is likely to become  trop cher  for ordinary travelers.

For some elite spenders, however, nothing is too expensive.

Olympic luxury packages are already on sale, offering exclusive access to the sporting spectacle, alongside very upscale travel and accommodation experiences. The lucky few for whom expense is no object can expect to pay north of several hundred thousand dollars for a ringside glimpse of the games.

For instance, a North American family of five traveling to Paris for the Olympics with experiential travel company  The GR8 Experience  can expect to spend between $250,000 and $380,000, depending on the five-star hotel or luxury rental they chose.

These six-figure sums include 11 nights accommodation, premium seats for the opening ceremony and tickets to sports such as swimming, water polo, diving, beach volleyball, track and field and soccer. They will also enjoy VIP transport services around Paris and dedicated hosts for their time in the city.

As the prices above show, the sports tourism industry is big bucks: in 2022 it was worth nearly  $588 billion , and it is expected to grow 17% by 2030. And this year, there’s no bigger sporting event than the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“Our clients want direct access to the most popular sporting events; gymnastics, tennis and basketball to name three,” The GR8 Experience CEO and Co-Founder Barnabas Carrega tells CNN Travel. The company is seeing a record number of enquiries from its predominantly North American clientele for the two-week event.

With Paris’ emblematic Seine river set to take center stage during the opening ceremony as organizers swap the traditional stadium setting for a floating parade of nations, the first night is, as usual, is highest in demand — so long as it’s  “experienced in the most exclusive way possible,” Carrega says.

“We also have some clients actually going the day prior to see the set-up [of the Opening Ceremony] for a really cool behind-the-scenes experience,’ Carrega says.

GR8 says some of its clients have privately hired  Ducasse sur Seine , the riverboat of Alain Ducasse, the first chef to have three restaurants with three Michelin stars, for one evening. Others will rub shoulders with Olympic executives, heads of state, A-list celebrities and past Olympic champions at the Trocadéro, where the parade will come to an end.

Tailor-made itineraries

In itineraries seen by CNN Travel, experience companies are tapping into the most exclusive packages provided by official hospitality provider  On Location  for tickets to Olympic events. These  include access to hospitality suites which will be fully catered, with alcohol available. The general public, meanwhile, won’t be able to buy alcohol as per France’s strict booze ban inside sporting venues.

Tour operator  Kensington Tours  says it has two clients coming into Paris for the first seven nights of the Games. They’ll kick off their stay watching the opening ceremony from the vantage point of Alma Bridge, with the Eiffel Tour rising in front of them.  The base price for this official Bridge 360 Package is  $10,300, and includes flowing Champagne, live music and meet-and-greets with Olympians in a brasserie-style setting.

Kensington says the best tickets – “gold 1st category A” – have already been secured for their clients at a cost of between $500 to $1,000 a ticket for tennis and basketball events. On the one day they are not attending any events, they’ll be whisked away on a private whiskey tasting led by a distillery owner.

AZA Luxury Travel’s   Angela Adto  Tepper says her company has designed a whole Paris program for a family of financiers from Oahu, Hawaii, who are coming specifically to watch basketball and wrestling.

“Paris presents a wealth of opportunities for luxury travelers to indulge in during the Olympics,” Adto Tepper says. “I have tailored an itinerary that includes Michelin-starred restaurants, guided curated shopping excursions in Parisian fashion districts and private tours to iconic sights like the Louvre.”

Similarly,  Craft Travel  has organized a busy, 15-day itinerary for a family of four, including two teenagers, from New York. Among the exclusive experiences is a private concert at the Palais Garnier, Paris’ gilded opera house.

“The performers will include a National Opera Ballet dancer, a classic quartet and an opera singer. A gourmet dinner will accompany the performance. Afterwards, they’ll enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the opera house, including a visit to the costume workshop where all the magic happens,” Craft Travel’s director, Andrea Galvez, says.

Home in Paris for the family will be the  La Réserve Apartments , just across from the Trocadéro. “They wished for a prime location and a luxurious environment that feels homey yet offers the services of a five-star hotel, and this is exactly what they’ll get,” says Galvez. The apartment will include a full-time attendant and a private chauffeur so they can avoid the city’s already-stretched public transport network.

Palaces and superyachts

To ensure their clients have access to Paris’ most prestigious hotels, many luxury travel advisers have made blanket bookings at properties across the city.

“We’ve contracted room blocks at eight different hotels for the full period of the games. We’ve then made shorter stays available inside those blocks to our guests,” says Dave Guenther, president of sports travel experts  Roadtrips , an Internova Travel Group company. Among those are Rosewood Hôtel de Crillon, Le Bristol Paris and the Shangri-La Paris.

Those that have snared a room at Paris’ top hotels are paying top dollar for the privilege. At  Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris , one of France’s ultra-prestigious “palace” hotels (a status awarded to exceptional luxury properties),  its 190 square meter (2,045 sq foot) Royal Monceau Suite  has been booked for the duration of the Olympic Games at a rate of $27,000 per night.

And, just like the athletes they have come to cheer on, wealthy travelers are bringing their entire entourage with them to Paris. “Some of the top suites have been personalized according to guest’s décor preferences and will feature a hair and make-up area,” Le Royal Monceau’s General Manager Nicolas De Gols says.

“A regular guest is traveling with their personal chef and working with the hotel’s culinary team to adapt the kitchen inside the suite to fit their needs, too.” In front of the hotel, an area will also be designated for the guest’s own fleets. “Some are traveling with almost 20 vehicles,” De Gols adds.

With other French cities such as Marseille and Nice — and even the far-flung French territory Tahiti — hosting Olympic events as well, it’s hardly a surprise that superyacht charters are also trending for the games.

Fraser  Yachts says Askari, a 33-meter (107-foot) classic yacht based in French Polynesia, has received multiple inquiries for surfing events in Teahupo’o, Tahiti.

In the Mediterranean, the Monaco-based yacht brokerage has a confirmed charter on a 27-meter (89-foot) motor yacht in Marseille to follow the Olympic windsurfing competition in early August and is also looking to deploy yachts from its US fleet to the Mediterranean to accommodate increased charter demand in the south of France this summer.

The wine Olympics

Considering the choice of host nation, it seems many luxury travelers are also keen to secure allocations of gold medal-worthy wines to enjoy while in Paris. Clément Bru and Charles de Brosses, the duo behind  Cookoon , a luxury gastronomic service that connects clients with Michelin-starred chefs in exclusive, private locations, say they are already seeing a high demand for fine and rare wines from incoming Olympic visitors.

“We’ve been contacted by an American professional sportsperson who has told us that they really like older Burgundys,” Bru says. Thanks to their service’s network, the pair have already been able to source a nearly 40-year-old bottle of Henri Jayer Vosne-Romanée “Cros Parantoux” —  a wine that averages around $16,000 a bottle  — as well as wines from another revered Burgundy estate, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

The wines will be served in an ultra-exclusive private property secured by the duo. “We are organizing a special evening with a leading chef and sommelier in an amazing venue with a view overlooking the Champ de Mars,” Bru says.

Yet, despite their intricate network of connections, it seems like there are some requests even the most well-connected of UHNW concierges can’t guarantee.

“A client of ours is interested in doing a whole behind-the-scenes experience with [US gymnast] Simone Biles,” GR8’s Carnega explains. “It’s very complicated because she’s very focused on trying to get her to win.

“But we’re working on it.”
