They have this operation dialed in. It is short but very sweet. The open bar and fun, yet competent, staff makes for good times on the water. The views are great, they have good music going, and it is fun meeting other folks on board. Definitely check it out!

Great time snorkeling with this crew! We saw a lot of fish and many sea turtles. My daughter loved jumping off the side of the boat over and over! Drinks were great too!

What a wonderful experience! The crew was friendly and fun. The drinks were tasty and plentiful. The sunset was gorgeous and the moonrise was a terrific bonus. I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on the 2:30 Sunset Cruise. The guys sailing us out were super nice. It was beautiful on the water, and we even saw a turtle in the water! The Mai Tai drinks they had on board, were actually the best we had the entire trip. I would defiantly recommend this experience! P.S. you could get soaked...we did :-)

This was a great experience. This sail is very calm and relaxing and a completely different experience from the trade wind sails, where you expect to get tossed around and get wet. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The sunset was gorgeous, even though it was overcast all day. My wife and I now prefer this sail over the trade winds sails we have done in the past. Great sail!

So much fun! One of the more affordable sunset cruises and 100% worth it. The workers on the boat were friendly and upbeat and did a great job of cultivating a fun vibe. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

My friend was visiting me on the island and we both loved this experience! The crew is so refreshing and fun! It was a mix of young and old! It was a great time! Would definitely recommend!

This was one of my favorite activities on Oahu! We loved the sail. We even got lucky and saw dolphins and turtles! My family loved every minute of it. Captain Woody and the rest of the crew were so helpful and friendly!

We did the snorkeling tour and it was great! Captain John, Curtis and the crew were all super nice full and of knowledge. On top of seeing turtles we also saw dolphins!

We found this Sunset Cruise and chose it because it is a bit smaller than most and it is BYOB. It picks up right on the beach and the crew was great.

This was by far the best catamaran we have been on! The staff is AMAZING. The crew is so helpful and funny. They make you feel like your part of their crew for sure. We loved spending time on the water and hearing all they had to say about the islands and animals. The captain was great! We will be doing this again!

We saw a sea turtle and a group of dolphins followed us for a while and did some "tricks". No whales on this trip but the crew made the experience fun by telling jokes and talking about the animals.

I can't say enough nice things about our trip on the Makani Catamaran! The staff were warm and friendly, the drinks we're tasty and the views were breathtaking. We had the opportunity to stand in the Captain's Galley and take photos. Captain Jon was so accommodating and thoughtful - he even offered to take our picture. This is one experience you do not want to miss out on! Highly recommend.

The boat was in great shape, staff was very professional and committed to safety. I appreciated that more than anything. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting the Island, the views are well worth it. Great value trip!

So, full disclosure I was pretty skeptical that this would be fun at all. In fact, this was totally my wifes idea. That said, of all the things we did in Hawaii, this ended up being one of my favorites. We had been doing pushing ourselves pretty hard for several days up to this point and it was just really nice to sit back for a couple hours with drinks in hand and hang out as a family. We sat on the netting in the front and our 9,7, and 5 year old kids thought it was awesome to watch the water go by underneath and at one point even had some dolphins following us. 100% would suggest and will definitely do again.

I am so happy that I booked this during our trip to Hawaii. The crew was nice, hospitable, and very engaging. They made the sail super fun for everyone on board. Our captain was even able to show us sea turtles and a whale, even though we were not promised that when booking! Plus there was a full service bar and the drinks were awesome! I would definitely recommend to everyone. It is definitely worth it.

Join us on a sea turtle snorkel adventure at Turtle Canyon, a set of coral reefs just off the coast of Waikiki that act as a cleaning station for the Hawaiian green sea turtles that migrate between the islands of Hawaii. We went on the Snorkeling trip with Carlos, Brandon, and Captain Jeff. And the Sunset Cruise with Captain Krash and Carlos. Immediately, we knew we got our money's worth on the snorkeling trip when Carlos pointed out we saw a Hawksbill Turtle and proceeded to tell us all about it. I had never done something like this before. I usually avoid the ocean and animals, but I truly felt safe and enjoyed every minute of the trip. Krash and Carlos also created a great vibe on the cruise (sit on the back bench if you can:)). Bring drinks for extra fun!

We have been on more snorkeling excursions than we can count and this one was one of the best and it doesn't even break the bank! We had an amazing time with Captain Crash, Carlos, Nick and last but not least, Sushi! Captain expertly piloted the boat and helped point out all of the huge turtles that were in the ocean and Carlos and Nick were super fun, informative and made sure everyone felt comfortable with all of their gear before we got into the water and while we were in the water. Carlos was great in pointing out all of the aquatic life and even found an octopus that he let everyone see. I highly recommend any excursion with this crew because they made it so fun and enjoyable, even for folks who werent originally comfortable with or in the ocean. Thank you for the awesome time. Mahalo! Also: Please, please, please bring tips for these hardworking guys. Trust me, this excursion is more than affordable and that deserve every dollar for their fantastic work! Carlos even went out of his way to help my son find his portable speaker that wasn't even lost on the boat, which shows what a caring and kind person he is. Thanks again!

My family and I used this catamaran and crew and it was such an amazing experience. The owner was extremely professional and communicative. Any questions we had or preferences he accommodated to and took care of immediately. The captain Crash was just as amazing. He allowed us to connect to the boat and play our own music, and shared such cool local things about the island that we did not know. The co-captain Carlos was so helpful and made sure we were all taken care of. He helped us with the snorkeling and made sure that while on the boat anything we needed was handled. The snorkeling was such an amazing experience. We saw so many turtles and fish and overall had such an amazing experience. Sushi was the final member of the crew and my family loved her! She was so sweet and gentle and if you are a dog lover, you will fall in love with her just like we did! Overall, I highly recommend using this company. It is great for people of all ages and has so much to see and do. You will have a great time! My family and I will definitely be using this company again as well as recommending it to all my family and friends. Thank you to the crew and owner for taking care of my family, we had such an amazing time and appreciate your guys work ethic and friendliness!

Great experience, family-owned. Saw lots of turtles and SO many fish out on in the water with this trip (went this weekend, June 1). Good hands-on experience for solid swimmers, with safety measures for less-strong swimmers. Went with my family including my 9-year-old niece who is an experienced snorkeler; we all felt welcomed. We went in the morning (10 am), which I recommend, as it's less busy than in the afternoon, and the sun is less severe. I am pale-skinned and prone to burning, so I slathered on my reef-safe sunblock before arriving and used more of my supply during the ride out. When snorkeling I wore a long-sleeved cotton shirt over my swimsuit and short-sleeve rash guard; also wore a big sturdy surfing straw hat when not in the water (with neck cord to keep it securely on my head), and sunglasses. Result was no sunburn: yay! Next time I'll bring my prescription lens mask (If you want to rent one, do so separately elsewhere; my friend and I both have relatively strong glasses prescriptions (-4 to -5) and we both felt comfortable with regular masks this trip! That speaks to how many fish we saw up close, and how many turtles there were!) I feel really good about supporting this local small business, putting my money into Hawaiian commerce providing fulfilling experiences like this one. The staff share good fish knowledge (including which fish are invasive species), they know the sweet spots for seeing our fish and turtle friends, they exemplify safety on the boat and in the water, and I love that they keep their tour groups 50% or smaller of the legal allowances.

Captain Krash, Nick and Reece are such a great team. They took real good care and attention to our family as well as the other families on the catamaran. I highly recommend this scuba experience and I'm sure the other excursions they offer are just as amazing. Next time we are going to try the Friday night fireworks on the boat. Thank you Captain Krash!

Oahu Catamaran

I would definitely go back to this snorkeling tour. Nick was really was really engaged with us and is very friendly. Anna was very helpful in the water, pointing out the sea turtles. Captain Crash was very funny and got us to the reefs safely. Sushi the dog was the highlight of the trip and she danced for us at the end. Overall a fun and incredible experience.

I have mixed reviews of this experience. On the plus side, it was a nice boat, good equipment, professionally run. It was a beautiful day and truly wonderful to snorkel with the fish and a few turtles. Our Host, Carlos, found an octopus and it was special to see and interact with it. Unfortunately, Carlos then handed over the octopus to a buddy on a neighboring boat who then proceeded to torture it and keep it out of the water, and I gather planned to use it as bait. I understand this kind of thing happens, but it felt wholly inappropriate on a recreational Nature-based excursion and I feel sick about being part of this. It ruined the trip. I hope that sharing this leads our guides to think deeply about the stewardship role they play as part of an ecotourism outfit. And while you're at it, please lose the old school offensive gender jokes.

We saw several turtles, as promised! And even got to see many dolphins, some jumping and doing twirls in the air! The crew was funny and helpful and the whole family had a lot of fun. What boat excursion would be complete without a rainbow! Overall, this was a great experience and one of my favorite things to do while visiting Oahu!

First off we saw tons of turtles. Secondly the crew was great to be around. Lastly I made a mistake when I booked the wrong day and the owner worked it out with me so I could take my kids snorkeling. Overall super happy.

Great time. Saw fishes and a turtle. Friendly crew. Two hour excursion and a drink and snack were offered.
