Since the first day it was founded in 1956, it has been the driving force of the maritime sector in Turkey. Moonday Yachts is an important company established to manufacture ships and yachts in the Golden Horn region of Istanbul. It took an important decision 30 years after the establishment of the company, in 1986, and moved the headquarters of the company to Istanbul Tuzla. As it is known, Tuzla has already turned into an important yacht production area and has become a region that has hosted many important yacht manufacturers. With this important step it took, the company continued its activities rapidly.

Moonday Yachts Company

The company has been operating successfully and effectively since its foundation. Since 1966, a separate boat building company was established independently of its own. In this process, the company has produced more than 450 important yachts. During the Netherlands not only produce yachts in Turkey's market, the US, UK, Australia, Greece, Canada, shows the size of Germany and France. The yachts produced by the company sail in all these countries. With the partnership with the British in 2012, the company has gained an international dimension and continued its important works all over the world. With this partnership, Moonday Yachts continued production with brand new yacht models. For this purpose, in 2016, the company moved to a new factory and moved its yacht production activities to a completely different dimension. Today, the company produces important yachts for the whole world, together with its English partners.

About Moonday Yacht

Moonday Yacht is a boatbuilder based in Turkey. The owner founded the company in Istanbul in 1956. In its early years, it traded ship and yacht chandeliers. However, it started to produce boats in 1986 by making a breakthrough in the sector. Boatbuilder Moonday Yacht which started manufacturing in the Netherlands in 1995, is currently manufacturing classic and sports boat models in series.

Production Stages Of Moonday Yacht

Carpenter's workshop: Special production furniture, deck manufacturing and all kinds of furniture works are provided with expert staff on Moonday yacht company. For this reason, the woodworking techniques of the boatbuilder are professionally done.

Polyester fiber workshop: First class lamination and high quality materials are used in the production lines. It can mould and manufacture its own boats and the boats of other companies. Therefore, there are professional staff and equipment capable of using Polyester, Vinyl, Epoxy products.

Flooring workshop: Boatbuilder Moonday Yacht manufactures all flooring and awnings in its own upholstery workshop. Therefore, it has machine equipment and professional upholstery workshop masters who can sew leather, fabric and other products.

Paint-varnish workshop: They do all paint and varnish work in their own workshop. In the meantime, they also do the work of boats belonging to other companies. Thus, they also respond to requests from outside the region.

Engine workshop: The engines of the boat built by Monday Yacht are specially assembled by to the service of each motor. So, the service of the engine to be mounted during assembly is carried out in the factory dedicated to assembly under the control of Moonday company.

Metal workshop: The boatbuilder company uses metal parts needed by boats in accordance with quality standards. On the other hand, contracted companies supply all metals such as stainless steel, aluminium, glass and plexiglass.

Electrical workshop: Contracted and commissioned professional teams are making electricity and components of the boats they produce. In fact, these teams are under the control of Moonday company when assembling.

Moonday yacht's boat models and certifications

Boatbuilder Moonday Yacht is a branded company in the Netherlands. First it was successful abroad and started new business in the Turkish market. The company carries out production with an average of 20 people in its 2,500 m2 factory. Every boat produced has all CE certificates and seaworthiness. Additionally, there are two types of boats, ten different classic models and eight different sports models. Besides, the company, which has reached agreements in many countries abroad, continues to work for new challenges.
