October 2022, not too busy on a Saturday morning. Brunch has served until 11:45. Dad had shrimp and crab omelette which you ... raved about and I had the breakfast bowl which was pretty good except I was expecting scrambled eggs mixed in instead of justlike an omelet egg late on top of the other ingredients. I ask them to hold the bacon and give me scrapple instead and it wasquite good. Sausage gravy on the side was a good call, the sausage was good in the gravy but gravy itself is a little sweetsouthern style which is not my thing. Next visit I had seared tuna bites I asked for raw in the middle and it was perfectlycooked. Nice seasoning on the outside. Good char grill flavor. Vegetarian wife got their new buffalo cauliflower wrap and sheliked it. We shared the Apple crumble pie. We were surprised that it was cold in the middle as if it had just been taken out ofthe fridge. We asked them to heat it up and they did much improved. We had a wonderful lunch at Hard Yacht Cafe on 08/24/22. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday as well as honoring a very ... dear friend who passed 14 years ago. We traveled by boat with 11 friends and had the best time with the most incredible server.Brandy was so welcoming and took wonderful care of us. The drinks were amazing and the food fabulous. Great place with a lot of personality. Had Uncle Bobby's Crabby Tots which were great. Tots were fried crispy with a very generous portion. Friendly attentive service.

Place was a little difficult to find at night since it's off the beaten path and on the waterfront. Server immediately seated us and was attentive to our drink needs. It was a Saturday night so there was a two man band that played a variety of hit songs. Beer list was limited but they did offer a variety of crushes and specialty drinks. Food was limited to sandwiches, some seafood, and other lite fare. They did offer some specials. Once food was served the waitress became overwhelmed with other tables to wait on. Food was average to above average depending on what was ordered. Took a while to track down waitress to get more drinks and the check. Wouldn't let the service stop me from going back but i wouldn't go out of my way to get there either. Probably more enjoyable expwrince in the warmer months where outside dining ia available.

Fun super friendly great music and always awesome food. The staff and the owners are always happy to see you. Like your a family member. They open at 7am for breakfast I love the French Toast for lunch I recommend the Tots dinner well to be honest everything one the menu is awesome!!!! Thanks Dee Bognar

Hard Yacht is an awesome indoor/outdoor bar and grille. Nice happy hour specials and fair priced meals. They can get busy but you can call ahead for a table! Try the fried pickles! I would go back again.

Stick to bar food and drinks. Plenty of room in summer and spring time two large decks , out door areas etc. Food is good but the Menu gets very much too expensive for the quality of food presented. also have prices jacked up to keep younger crowd out. Wish to see more happy hour type deals...

We just discovered Hard Yacht and we liked just about everything, including the laid back atmosphere on the water. We came on a Wednesday for happy hour with the $2.50 National Bohemians and Bud Lights as well as some outstanding Old Bay wings at 6... for $6.95. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly. I got a very full shrimp salad sandwich that was only lacking some Old Bay, which can be fixed on a next visit. My wife liked the half and half soup and her 1/2 lb. of steamed shrimp. We liked all the outdoor seating options right on and over the water as well as the extended bar up a little walkway around the corner of the dining room. The rest of the party was pleased and it's always nice stumbling onto a new place like this. The only real negative was the bathroom that is the size of a closet, especially with a nice size crowd. We loved it all even in the rain! The staff was friendly, Great Vibe & it's on the water. We expected your basic bar food. Nothing basic about it. We had dinner, drinks & breakfast the next morning. Everything was hot, fresh, large portions &... best of all very high quality. For drinks, I suggest you try a Frozen mudslide first. It's not on the table menu but it is a hidden gem I don't want to spoil the surprise but it's a must. For dinner, we tried several things so we had leftovers for sure. It was all great but for us the breakfast was one of the best that we have had. My wife had a shrimp & crab omelet & a side of bacon. Both were loaded & worth every penny. I was more basic with the big breakfast with pancakes & a side of chip beef. Everything was perfect but the stand-out for me was the pancakes. I don't think that anything they offer would be a bad choice. I wish we lived closer because this would be a go-to spot for us. More

Visited the upstairs bar today, friendly patrons, less than fair service, good food. Policy is to hold a CC if you choose to run a tab rather than pay cash as you go. My CC was not returned by the bartender who was the same... one that took it when we arrived. I drove 45 Minutes away only to realize I had to return for my card. The bar tender , promptly returned my card. When I expressed my frustration with taking an hour and 30 minutes of our day to return to get my card because he failed to return it, WHICH IS HIS JOB, His response was "Get the F___ out!". Not once but twice.!. I Immediately sought out the manager who handled the situation quite professionally. However he did state that I had a responsibility to ask for my card. I disagree. It is their policy to hold the card and I feel their responsibility to return it. I will return but never will visit the bar where Johnny is working, nor will I ever surrender a CC to run a tab. They do not do that to patrons who sit at tables why should they do it with patrons at the bar ??? Nor do I think he should retain his job. FIRE JOHNNY IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!. The problem is the manager is Johnny's brother.....Sorry for my luck.......Has anyone ever been told to "Get the F____ out " of a place they spent money and tipped 20%?????. Insulting!!!!! More

To make a long story short, after being at the restaurant for 2 hours, we were told that we would not be served dinner that we ordered at least an hour prior to being told that the "Kitchen is closed" by the manager. Had we... not requested to speak to a manager (as our waitress was non-existent), we would have never been informed that we would not be getting dinner. We arrived at 7:30 pm and didn't recieve appetizers until an hour or more later. Never have I had such a disrespectful and poorly managed dining experience. Further more, this was an utter disappointment for our friend's birthday celebration which we had been anticipating for months. The manager informed me that if we were looking for fast service, Hard Yacht is not the place for such service on a weekend. He went on to explain how other similar restaurants in Baltimore located on the water have the same issues. To close your kitchen and not inform your guests who are waiting to have a meal is unaccpeptable. I will not return to this restaurant. More

We didn't actually dine here - we were meeting a broker to look at a boat. The bartender was friendly and welcoming, and took time to tell us about the history of the bar and area. We felt like we missed out not eating here.

I was pleasantly surprised during my last visit to find the menu had been revamped. The old menu had too many fried options and not enough "healthier" options which the new menu seems to give. The atmosphere is always lively and fun and the only... downfall if you are out on the town and want to hang there until 2am, that's not an option...as with any bar on the water in a neighborhood, they have to abide by the noise ordinance and close earlier. Great bands, good food, nice atmsphere! More

We have been here a few times being a waterfront bar location aren't crushes are great and the music is fun during the summer however I can't say that I've had anything good to eat and most recently ordered of all crops soup Which was... terribly disappointing for Maryland crab soup. And service is terrible we sat at the bar thinking we would get Better service but we were Wrong again. More

My family wanted to go someplace to sit outside since it was so nice out so we went here on a Sunday afternoon, we've been here before & it was decent. We didn't see a hostess stand so we asked a waitress walking by, she... said we could seat ourselves at any table that didn't have a reserved sign on it, so we headed out on the deck. Only about 5 tables were filled so we had our pick. Well, we sat there for at least 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged despite seeing 4 waitresses stop at other tables to take orders, deliver food & drinks. We sat staring at each other wondering if we were invisible, my husband finally called the bar from his phone to ask if we could get service, he explained where we were seated & that no one had been over, he asked if we were supposed to go inside to the bar to place our order. He hung up expecting a waitress to come over, but it never happened!!!! So after waiting another 3-4 minutes of being ignored we got up to leave. As we were walking out, the manager stopped my husband and said he would seat us now and take our order. I'm guessing they didn't need our business and didn't really care either. Stay away from here unless you like being ignored and like watching others eating and drinking. More

Stopped in here with my boyfriend. Food was mediocre, nothing too exciting. Ordered steamed mussels. They were pretty tasty, though 4-5 remained closed. Served with 2 pieces of buttered garlic bread, the liquid at the bottom of the bowl appeared greasy and unappetizing. My boyfriend... ordered a shrimp po-boy with hush puppies, and I had a burger topped with crab dip and cheese. Both of our sandwiches were tasty, though I couldn't finish mine...had my fill of it all. If you're interested in typical bar food and/or have the munchies, this place is for you. The on-the-water view was pretty cool, though their beer selection remains limited. Overall, it was a mediocre experience. Not sure if I'd return. More

Went there in late afternoon with a group of friends for drinks and appetizers. We had about 12 in our group and due to the time 4:30 pm, we had our pick of the place. We sat at the window inside so as to get... a view of the yacht basin. We had beer, mixed drinks the Bloody Marry with Old Bay is delicious.Our waitress was slow and as we found out, very inattentive. She did not come back for refills and we had to go find her each time we needed a drink. The boneless wings are the same ones you get from the local grocery store, all breading little meat. They have live entertainment and the place has a good atmosphere for a few drinks with friends, not much more. More

When you walk in, sit down and wait a reasonable amount of time, then, when you are not greeted, given menus or have any kind of drink order taken, you look around and NO ONE, not one table, has any food. As Steve W said,... the manager said all the wrong things when we let him know what had gone wrong. The entire experience was a comedy of errors. The other reviewers are correct about enjoyable environment...it is a fun location. We ordered dinner (basic stuff) before the Orioles game started. We didn't get it until late in the 5th inning. Others were seated, served and checked out with second parties seated at adjacent tables before we got our food.We waited about an hour and a... half for food. Owner was rude about it to boot. Went to this location with my girlfriend yesterday. The atmosphere was nice, and we ordered, but with a diet coke and an ice tea - no alcoholic beverages. Anyway the waitress brought my girlfriend a nice plate of food, but my chicken sandwich meal was... disgusting. No kidding, I got a bag of chips on the plate, (1) super small pickle, and a sandwich I would be hesitant to feed to a dog. The chicken was tough as belt leather and it was topped w a table spoon of crab dip and a slice of slightly melted cheddar, what they call the Chicken Chesapeake - - - - I would have been much more satisfied with McDonald's to be honest - the price was $15.99. I'm really sorry that I didn't take a picture, sickening and unreal. I've gone there many times before, but def not going back. The waitress could have cared less BTW. More

Been going here for years because it's right around the corner from where I live, but apparently staff does not remember local, loyal, repeat customers. This past year, I was re-diagnosed with cancer and I do not currently have a drivers license. Me and my... fiance stopped in for some lunch and drinks during the Raven's game. When carded, I provided my medical marijuana card as a form of ID which includes my birthday, picture, etc. and is issued by the state of Maryland. I will point out that I'm almost 40 yo. and do not look underage. Regardless, I am flattered when carded and had no issues with that part. However, the bartender who I might add, has served me many times before, announced quite loudly for everyone around us to hear that it wasn't a driver's license, it was a medical marijuana card, and that she wasn't sure she could accept it. I didn't realize that you had to drive to drink. I thought you just had to prove you were over 21? She could have been more discreet and checked first if she was unsure. I have been using this form of ID at various places for almost a year now, including out of state, and have had zero issues. Instead, when I simply pointed out that it was a valid MD state ID proving my age, she asked "why I was getting aggressive???". Those who know me, know I don't have an aggressive bone in my body and the only one being aggressive was her! My fiance took over at that point and told her that we were just explaining further and no one was getting aggressive. She asked if we would like to speak to a manager. We said yes. However, she spoke to two other bartenders instead, and a manager never came over to speak with us. She came back and asked what we were having to drink?!? No apology whatsoever, so we said never mind and left. I am so disgusted with how I was treated that I will not be returning to Hard Yacht. I understand if she was unsure whether to accept or not, but why not ask management before causing a scene and treating me horribly? I refuse to spend money at a place that treats people this way. We ended up going to Poplar Inn and I was treated with dignity and respect. The food and drinks were really good too. More
