The most unfriendly people, poor management, high price for membership that gives no service, you have to contribute more than you get. It's a self serve club. No happy ending here!! And if I can rate 0 not 1 I would.

This Club is amazing! The people here are amazing! The location is perfect! I had attended quite a few community events before we joined and was always impressed with the friendly "staff". I had never heard of a self serve yacht club and was surprised later to learn they all volunteered to help out for events! The food is awesome, the bartenders are the very best and the spirit of the members cannot be beat! When Covid shut down everything in Ventura County they implemented take-out, when dining outside was allowed they safely implemented that and continued serving the community by supporting the best ever food and toy drive during the Holidays. One of the first events I ever attended was a Sea Bass enhancement information and fundraiser. The yacht club "Anglers" sponsor and volunteers support the Ventura County White Sea Bass Enhancement Facility. Another event I attended before joining was a fundraiser for a grassroots group supporting sane development in the Harbor and working to stop a 400 apartment complex from being built on land designated as visitor serving. Boaters of all kinds have a variety of events and the electric boat parades are epic. Oh and the views from the decks at the club are spectacular. Boating, fishing, fun and friendships with wonderful people is all here!

Rating based on: Boating facilities first, food and bar second This is a really nice facility located in the Channel Islands harbor. It's definitely an older facility but it checks out. Building layout is very simple...clubhouse and clubhouse bar upstairs. Nice bartender, prompt service, all that. The real peach here are the boating facilities. Brand new docks, secure entrance behind lock and key, nice wide boat slips, and handy connection to power and water. The shower facilities are also of recent vintage. So, if you're a boater, this is a great spot to overnight.

This is a lively, warm, and welcoming club with good facilities and plenty of activities for both sailing fans and power boaters. The members are first of all, boaters, but they like good food and music, and they work together to create good events. Check it out.

We were here for a private event and I have to say that this is a really nice facility. The lounge area is cozy and the main room is very spacious with a fantastic view of the Channel Islands Marina. The bartender and staff were all very friendly and there is a great selection of drinks and wines available. The place was very tidy and the bathrooms clean. It really made for a great event.

They pride themselves as the friendliest Yacht Club on the Coast, and they are. Facility is clean and recently remodeled. This is not an expensive Hoity-Toity Yacht Club. The dues are reasonable and there is no monthly minimum use prepay. They do this by being partially self help, (you are expected to bus your dishes at most dinners). The Bar staff is paid professionals and serve a liberal libation. They have a trial 3month membership to see if it fits your needs.

Thanks to CIYC for letting us host our annual xmas party. Food was delicious & service was amazing. Thanks again neat place on harbor!!

This is a great place to spend the day to watch boats and have a meal. The drinks and food are reasonable and the quality is good.

Established in 1976, PCYC members enjoy social and boating activities in one of Ventura County's most beautiful settings. Operating year-round, the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club offers a variety of activities for our members and families including a swimming pool and spa, a full service dining room, and full service bar. Our members enjoy morning yoga, sailing the Pacific Ocean on the club sailboat Selavy, navigating Channel Islands Harbor in the club owned 22ft electric boat, paddle boarding, riding the aqua bikes, and kayaking.

Yacht Clubs celebrate Opening Days

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif.-The Association of Santa Barbara Channel Yacht Clubs put up boating flags in celebration of the 2024 boating season.

Ventura County yacht clubs planned a number openings days events.

Clubs held opening day ceremonies and receptions on Saturday morning.

The Ventura Yacht Club hosted its 86th Opening Day ceremony followed by a party on the dock.

Burgees or pennants with the colors of the clubs waved in the windy weather.

Some clubs hosted open houses.

They welcomed potential members of neighboring club members to check out club amenities.

Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club, known as PCYC, invited people in for music and dining.

One club member brought over an electric boat designed to look like a Tiki bar.

An "All Club Boat Parade" will take place at 8 :30 a.m. on Sunday in the Channel Islands Harbor.

With an authorized membership of 400, the club has thrived on the enthusiasm, involvement, and volunteer spirit of its members. The club members form a diverse mixture of people from all walks of life sharing a mutual love of the sea. The atmosphere of the harbor-front clubhouse, with its spacious dining room and comfortable bar, is warm and friendly, reflecting the Club’s fine reputation on the Southern California Gold Coast. The Club’s activities include a well-rounded program of sailboat racing, predicted log racing, cruising, and fishing activities, as well as an active social program.

Pleasantly surprised, service is good so is the food. Great selection of Fusion food, a mixture of Italian, Japanese, European, Asian etc. A pleasantly nice dining experience, highly recommended, a must try!

Best food, best view in Moscow. absolutely faultless from arrival to finish. Best risotto i had for many years absolutely perfectly cooked. The view on Ukrainian hotel and the white house by night is amazing

Had to wait for the food for 1.5 hours and then another 20 minutes for the check. Finally called for the manager and he offered... a 10% discount as a compensation. Simply pathetic! The food is mediocre at best. Not bad per se, but one... would expect something better considering the prices. There are many places to eat in area that are much better. Avoid this one at all costs. Food is very expensive,very pretentious, doesn't worth that money. Portions are very small. We ordered ravioli and there were 4! Four raviolis! For almost 15 euros. Then we asked to bring us dessert menu but nothing, they didn't even bothered, so we payed and left... without dessert. Very poor service for that price. More

This is a very good restaurant. The food is really good, maybe the best in Moscow. The service is also good. The view from the restaurant is great. The prices are very high.

I often visit this restaurant and must say it’s one of the best in Moscow in terms of quality and service. Staff really try hard to make sure that you are happy and satisfied. Customer service is a huge problem in Moscow but Chaika sets... a great example for others in the industry! Food is delicious and the menu has lots of options for everyone! Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend of mine. It was relaxingly warm August evening - so the place on the river seemed like a good idea. We came quite early and the restaurant was not full. The hostesses kindly offered several places to sit... and we chose to sit on the sofas. We had some wine, which was good. We struggled a bit when deciding about the food as few options (scallops) were not available. Fish on ice on display did not look very fresh. To be honest it was an unusually hot August and it is probably understandable that some see food options were not available. However, we did manage to order something and sat waiting and looking onto the river. My long-legged friend struggled sitting at the low sofa and the manager noticed that, offering as a very good, proper table beside the open window. It was nice touch and I was very pleased by their polite observations and immediate reaction to solve the problem. Food was quite good and presentation was perfect. Perhaps I can something about the food, but 1 visit is not enough to criticize or make a definitive opinion. Overall, quality place, which of course, does not come cheap. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. More
