112m RENAISSANCE Delivered & Welcomed to Burgess' Charter Fleet

Freire Shipyard's brand new 112m flagship motor yacht RENAISSANCE has officially been delivered to her owners and will now be welcomed to the Burgess charter fleet. Launched at the start of this year, she now holds the title of the largest yacht ever to be built in Spain. This impressive superyacht will now be perfectly situated in the Burgess charter fleet, suiting the ethos of Burgess perfectly due to the sheer excellence of her beauty, design and stature: undoubtedly a valuable addition to the industry's charter market.

RENAISSANCE represents a new era in superyacht charter; built to Passenger Yacht Code, Ice Class 1D, she has the ability to accommodate 36 passengers in 19 luxurious cabins. She was built by Spanish builders Freire Shipyard, with her exterior and interior designs penned by the award-winning design studio Bannenberg & Rowell. 

Her interiors are highly sophisticated, with neutral colours, tactile furnishings and highly usable spaces. She has six decks, of which accommodation is spread across three, and there is a dedicated owner’s deck complete with private fore and aft decks. 

It is not just RENAISSANCE’s impressive size that makes her the perfect place for entertaining; she has a double-height dining saloon, a beach club and al fresco dining opportunities on four of the decks. From grand black-tie events to intimate dinner parties, she can cater for any possible event. 

Amenities onboard are plentiful, with the expansive beach club showcasing the latest watertoys, a bar and waterside dining area, a stunning swimming pool located on the main deck and a dedicated spa deck. The spa deck is a revelation; it includes a fitness centre with a vast gym, hot and cold plunge pools, and a steam room and sauna. RENAISSANCE offers the ultimate relaxation retreat, with a balcony providing stunning ocean views and a range of treatment rooms and salons. A helipad makes arrivals and departures to the yacht easy and optional, contributing to the relaxing and comfortable feel of this spectacular vessel.

It’s a tough balancing act that Renaissance pulls off for both owner and 36 guests. The 19 guest cabins are accessed via personal wristbands that contain a “call button” and are named after global cities—Beijing, Madrid, Monaco, New York—some of which will be visited during the yacht’s charter Mediterranean itinerary this summer with Burgess . Few places in the world are off-limits thanks to an ice-class hull.

The owner’s deck includes a 646-square-foot suite with twin walk-in wardrobes and bathrooms, both with side deck access. There is also a media room and lounge with a bar and private dining. The suite pairs semi-precious stone panels with marble, mosaic, and bronze fittings, linked with woven metal screens by French artist Sophie Mallebranche. A private terrace forward includes a jacuzzi, sun loungers, and seating. A private aft deck dining area seats up to 12 guests.

The dedicated spa deck comprises a fully equipped fitness center, including a ballet bar and yoga mirrors. Its therapy and wellness area includes two treatment rooms, a hair salon, and beauty room. Swedish-inspired hot and cold plunge pools are twinned with a steam room, sauna, and a side deck. Among the multi-skilled crew of 45 are spa therapists, a yoga instructor, personal trainer, hair stylist and world-class chef. Even the engineer doubles as a magician.

Forward of the spa deck is a commercially certified helipad capable of landing an EC145 helicopter. The yacht’s four custom Cockwells tenders are another source of pride for the owner, in particular an enclosed limousine tender with an interior inspired by private jet design and headroom that allows guests of more than 6-foot to stand up inside.

High ceilings are a theme, notably the double-height 18-foot ceilings in the main deck dining room and starboard side salon. These are matched with double-height windows with white marble-clad glazing mullions and carved bronze-finished wall and door panels. “A further salon floats centrally above these two areas with a dramatic screened walkway separating the double-height areas below,” explains Rowell. Anchoring the four corners of the main salon are back-illuminated stained glass panels by British artist Grace Ayson.

A more intimate circular dining area on the upper deck can be fully closed off in the style of a winter garden using sliding glass doors. Further al fresco dining areas are spread across five decks.

When the evenings draw in, entertainment moves to the bridge deck DJ station or the outdoor cinema screen for starry-skied movie nights. A second 19-seater indoor cinema on the lower deck is fitted with snug reclining seats. The jazz bar on the main deck, with its clubby cocktail theme and illuminated rock crystal spirits display, suggests more low-key socializing.

The 112m/367'5" motor yacht 'Renaissance' is an excellent new superyacht for the luxury charter market. Delivered by the Spanish Freire Shipyard and featuring interior styling by English designer Bannenberg & Rowell she can comfortably accommodate up to 36 guests in 19 cabins.

Built in 2023, Renaissance is custom-built for world-class luxury yacht chartering, offering a wealth of spacious living areas and fabulous amenities, you'll be in for a treat from the moment you step on board. She is equipped with a helipad, beauty salon, movie theatre, spa, elevator, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Renaissance offers guest accommodation for up to 36 guests in 19 suites comprising fifteen double cabins and four cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 44 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a state-of-the-art movie theatre for movie nights. Elsewhere the latest beauty and hair treatments are available in the luxurious beauty room plus take a break from a busy itinerary in the steam room. Visit the sauna and disconnect in peace and quiet or take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and make your day truly exceptional at the beach club. Maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym and in addition soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Renaissance benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Access to the most exotic destinations is easy thanks to the helipad plus satellite communication systems keep you in touch wherever you voyage. With Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to or you can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by 3 x Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of up to 8,000 nautical miles.

Onboard Renaissance has a large selection of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Guests can experience the thrill and adventure of riding one of the six WaveRunners. Also there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. If that isn't enough Renaissance also features waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, WindSurfers and much more. Renaissance features four tenders, but leading the pack is a 13m/42'8" Cockwells Limo Tender to transport you in style.
