These missions revolve around the player assisting Captain Darcy in his various duties, dealing with things such as collecting undersea cargo, retrieving stolen property, and assisting wealthy clients. The missions are only available from the yacht bridge or by calling the Captain and requesting a job, until they are all completed, then they will be added to the Jobs section of the Pause Menu.

GTA 5 The Merryweather Heist: Offshore or Freighter

How will you complete The Merryweather Heist?

The Merryweather Heist is one of the few heists that doesn't require a crew in GTA 5 , and the first time we have Michael, Franklin, and Trevor working together.

The plan is to steal a secret device from Merryweather and, therefore, there are two approaches to completing this heist: Offshore and Freighter .

Should I choose Offshore or Freighter?

When it comes to the Offshore or Freighter choice in The Merryweather Heist, it only affects how the trio collects the device because no money is made. In short - pick which option sounds more interesting to you.

That said - there are different Gold Medal objectives to meet for each approach, and we explain the best crew and getaway options later in the page.

If you choose Offshore, Trevor suggests that Michael increase his flying skills. This request is optional, and the heist can be completed without any additional grinding.

If you choose Freighter, Trevor calls Franklin and tells him to increase his shooting skills. This request is also optional.

This heist is straightforward and doesn't require too much strategy to make your getaway.

If you take the Offshore approach, Franklin has to make sure that all targets are shot down as quickly as possible. If you take the Freighter approach, your skill with a sniper rifle will determine if you survive.

Choosing Offshore requires the completion of two missions before The Merryweather Heist: Cargobob and Minisub.

When you're ready, Trevor must steal a cargobob so they can transport the Submersible to the ocean.

Using the Submersible, Trevor looks for the device along the ocean floor and picks it up. Michael then uses the cargobob to lift the Submersible with the device attached to it.

As Michael flies back to shore, they are attacked by Merryweather mercenaries via land, air, and sea. Michael must continue flying while Franklin protects the cargobob by shooting at Merryweather helicopters and land vehicles.

If successful, Michael will fly the cargobob and the Submersible back to the airfield in Sandy Shores. At the airfield, they are met by Lester and Floyd. Lester tells them that they have to send the device back. Trevor reluctantly agrees, and the crew earns no money from the heist.

Choosing Freighter requires only one mission to be completed before The Merryweather Heist can start: Minisub.

In this approach, the trio plans to blow up a freighter so that they can loot the secret device from a shipping container.

This approach begins with Michael boards the freighter and places sticky bombs throughout the deck. While Michael is setting the bombs, Franklin protects him from a high vantage point with a sniper rifle.

After Michael successfully plants all the sticky bombs, Franklin is attacked by Merryweather troops and a helicopter. He must survive the onslaught before they can blow up the freighter. Using the night vision view during the gunfight will help you to see all the gunmen.

Once the bombs are detonated, Michael dives into the ocean to locate the device. Trevor then uses the Submersible to collect the device and take it to a safe spot along the shore.

As they exit their vehicles, they are met by Lester and Floyd. Lester tells them that they have to send the device back. Trevor reluctantly agrees, and the crew earns no money from the heist.

In Grand Theft Auto Online — and I guess, the real world — super yachts are the ultimate symbol of wealth. I mean, have you seen Below Deck ? It just sounds like yachting is what rich people do. The thing is, yachting isn’t worthless in the real world. Sure, it’s extravagant, but it has a function. It takes you places! Unfortunately for the richest of the rich in GTA Online, that’s not the case. Super yachts in GTA Online don’t actually do anything.

Players can’t move the yacht themselves; instead, they can pay a captain $25,000 to do it for them. (Actually this is starting to sound a lot more realistic for the super rich.) Essentially, it’s an item people buy simply to flaunt their wealth, because yachts start at $6 million and only go up from there.

(There are other pricey items in GTA Online, like high-end apartments. But these have a purpose: You can make money from them by doing heists.)

But last week, developer Rockstar Games announced a new summer update, the Los Santos Summer Special . It added a bunch of stuff, including new super yacht missions. Finally, someone gave GTA Online’s super rich something to do! Wealthy GTA Online players were excited — finally, they could profit off their extravagance.

The Los Santos Summer Special went live on Tuesday, adding since new co-op missions to GTA Online. The missions can be played solo or with a co-op group, and you do get money from doing them. But ... it’s not a lot of money. Not even enough to pay off 1/10 the cheapest super yacht. (Rockstar is running a double rewards special until Aug. 19, however, but it still won’t make a dent in the super yacht price.)

The good news is, you will unlock the Yacht Captain outfit by completing the six new missions. Now you can flaunt your wealth on land: I’m rich enough to afford a yacht! (Or, at least, you’re friends with someone who does.) Sure, the yacht still doesn’t really do anything. But you do have a lot of internet money!

GTA Online: Every Heist In The Game (& How Much They Pay)

Which heists in GTA Online give you the most bang for your buck? Today we're cataloging the whole lot and how much each one pays out.

That Grand Theft Auto 5 still has an active player base more than a decade after its release is incredibly impressive. In spite of its age, it still looks great and is receiving fairly regular updates from Rockstar to keep things feeling fresh. One of the best parts about the game is undoubtedly its heists, which feature both as part of the single-player campaign and the ever-expanding GTA Online .

GTA V: Crazy Rumors That Actually Turned Out To Be True

It took a while for the service to really get off the ground, with the first online heists not being added to the game until nearly two years after its initial release. Since then though, a steady trickle of new GTA Online heists have been introduced, each of which rewards players with thousands of dollars in virtual cash. The best heists in GTA Online are highly enjoyable too, providing players with plenty of incentive to try them out.

Updated October 9, 2023, by Tom Bowen: There's still no concrete news on when exactly franchise fans can expect to get their hands on GTA 6, but that doesn't seem to matter too much to some people. Despite now being more than a decade old, Grand Theft Auto Online still boasts a healthy player base and plenty of content for those players to sink their hungry teeth into. The highest-paying GTA Online heists are a great way to earn money, not to mention a fun way to enjoy the online experience with friends. The game also boasts a number of special contracts, which are similar to heists in a lot of ways and provide even more opportunities to make bank.

The Fleeca Job ($57,500 - $143,750)

The Fleeca Job was the very first heist added to GTA Online and is the only one that doesn't allow more than two players. The main objective is to steal bonds from a safe deposit box at a small branch of the Fleeca bank in Banham Canyon. It costs $11,500 to set up the heist and requires a fairly minimal amount of prep work compared to most of the other heists.

One of the players will be tasked with driving the getaway vehicle and controlling the bank's patrons once the heist is underway. The other must drill into the safe deposit box and secure the bonds as quickly as possible. Upon opening the box, both players will receive a three-star wanted level and must meet up with Lester's getaway guy to escape the cops.

The Prison Break ($200,000 - $500,000)

The Prison Break heist requires a crew of four and will cost $40,000 to set up. To initiate the heist, players must speak with Lester who will introduce them to the mysterious Agent 14. He will ask them to help break a former military researcher out of jail and deliver him to safety.

Before freeing the researcher, players must obtain a number of vehicles as well as get hold of the prison transport schedule. They'll then need to take out several targets. Once everything's ready, the crew has to break the researcher out of prison and take him to an airfield. After losing the cops and arriving at the drop zone, he'll take control of the plane and the crew will parachute to safety.

The Humane Labs Raid ($270,000 - $675,000)

The Humane Labs Raid is another heist given to the player by Agent 14. He'll ask the player to infiltrate the Humane Labs and Research facility to find evidence of nerve agents or other biological weapons. The heist requires a crew of four players and costs $54,000 to set up.

As part of the preparation for the raid, the crew will need to acquire an EMP, a Valkyrie helicopter, and the key codes for the lab. Once these things have been acquired, the crew will split into ground and air teams. The ground team must break into the lab and obtain the data while the air team protects them from above.

Series A Funding ($202,000 - $505,000)

Series A Funding is a little different from the game's other heists. Rather than the target being stolen during the finale, the drugs that Trevor has asked for are instead acquired during the setup phase of the heist. Players will need both a crew of four and $40,400 in order to set everything up.

There are five setup stages, each of which will require stealing a different type of illegal drug. For the heist's finale, the crew must take the stolen drugs to Trevor while fighting off some of the gangs from whom they were stolen. After meeting Trevor at a lighthouse, his buyer turns out to be an undercover agent, although the loveable psychopath is able to escape and the crew still gets paid.

The Pacific Standard ($500,000 - $1,250,000)

The Pacific Standard is the last heist that offers an easy difficulty setting and is by far the most profitable in the Heists update. It's also the most expensive to initiate though, with a hefty $100,000 setup cost. As well as the money, players will need a crew of four in order to get the ball rolling.

Lester wants the crew to rob the main branch of The Pacific Standard Bank in Downtown Vinewood. Due to the size of the bank, there is a lot of setup work involved with numerous vehicles required for the task's finale. Once everything's ready, the crew must fight their way down to the vault and complete a special hacking minigame. After escaping with the cash, there's then an incredibly elaborate escape sequence.

The Data Breaches ($650,000 - $812,500)

The Doomsday Heist consists of three acts, each of which functions as a mini-heist. Players are able to tackle them using crews of between two and four people and this will determine the final cut that each player receives. The first few are given to the crew by Avon, who is an associate of Lester's. The Data Breaches serves as the first act and has a setup cost of $65,000.

In the finale, the crew must head to an IAA base and fight off a unit of Merryweather security agents. As they fight their way through the base, they will eventually arrive at the war room and from here can control the turrets. After gunning down more Merryweather agents a cutscene will play out and the heist will end.

The Bogdan Problem ($950,000 - $1,187,500)

The second of the Doomsday heists requires a lot more prep work and $95,000 to set up. Thankfully though, the finale is fairly straightforward — especially for those in the air. The crew will split into two teams, with one taking to the water in a submersible car and the other piloting a military aircraft in the skies above.

The air team need only fight off any incoming planes or choppers and the other must gain access to a submarine. After tracking down the target, it becomes apparent that Avon has not been completely honest with the crew . The sub's self-destruct sequence activates and, along with the target, the crew must escape before it explodes. From here, they must fight off the incoming forces while flying to safety.

The Doomsday Scenario ($1,200,000 - $1,500,000)

The Doomsday Scenario serves as the narrative climax for the Doomsday Heist and requires the crew to take out Avon. It costs $120,000 to set up and is by far the most challenging. Players can either choose to tackle the mission using an ATV or a tank, with the player who paid to set up the heist receiving the value of the other.

The crew must head to a secret tunnel within Mount Chiliad and fight their way through Avon's army. Eventually, Avon's AI network Clifford begins the launch sequence for a missile destined to destroy Los Santos. Lester is able to trick it into opening the blast doors and the crew must complete a hacking mini-game in order to disarm the missile. The crew must then disable Clifford and take out Avon before regrouping at the Galileo Observatory, which shares a striking resemblance to the Griffith Observatory .

The Diamond Casino Heist - Cash ($2,115,000 - $2,326,500)

The Diamond Casino Heist offers by far the biggest payout of all of the game's heists, but just how big depends on what is in the target vault. Perhaps surprisingly, cash is the worst of the four possibilities but it's still a great way to earn money . The minimum number of players needed for the heist is two, although most choose to take a full crew of four to guarantee success.

It will cost $25,000 to set up the heist and there are three different approaches to completing it. The silent & sneaky approach is the least disruptive but requires players to be incredibly stealthy. Should players alert the guards at any point, reaching the vault will be incredibly difficult. As such, it requires a strong crew.

The Diamond Casino Heist - Artwork ($2,350,000 - $2,585,000)

Although it offers significantly more than the cash heist, the artwork heist is still far from desirable. Its pay can be more than a quarter of a million dollars lower than other heists in spite of the set-up cost being exactly the same. There are also no noticeable differences when it comes to the difficulty of the heist.

For those who lack the skills for the stealthy tactic, The Big Con approach may be more appealing. The crew wears disguises to gain access to the vault, although must be sure to stay in character to avoid arousing suspicion. If undetected, they will have more time in the vault but will have to bypass some security locks to gain entry.

The Diamond Casino Heist - Gold ($2,585,000 - $2,843,500)

Generally, gold is considered to be a good outcome as it offers around half a million dollars more than cash. There are times when it's technically possible to earn more, but obtaining a better outcome can be very difficult due to the low chances and at times is actually impossible.

The final tactic for the Diamond Casino Heist is the aggressive approach. As the name suggests, it involves the crew fighting their way to and from the vault. They will have a minimal amount of time inside the vault, although they are able to use thermal charges to gain access rather than having to hack the locks.

The Diamond Casino Heist - Diamonds ($3,290,000 - $3,619,000)

Despite the significantly larger take, the set-up cost for the diamond heist remains the same. Unfortunately, though, there is a catch. Diamonds are only available during certain periods and the probability of getting them is significantly lower than the other three targets. Thankfully, there's a way around this.

During periods when there is a possibility of the safe containing diamonds, players can repeatedly cancel and then restart the heist until the safe contains diamonds. Although they will lose $25,000 each time they cancel, the difference in takes means that they can afford to cancel up to 31 times and still guarantee a greater profit than gold.

The Cayo Perico Heist ($900,000 - $2,090,000+)

Added into the game in late 2020, The Cayo Perico Heist marked one of the largest Grand Theft Auto Online updates so far. With as many as six primary targets available to choose from and the ability to earn more money by stealing additional items, it's incredibly replayable and a great way for players to earn some quick cash. Better still, this heist can be tackled solo, allowing players to walk away with the entire take.

As with the casino heist before it, the Cayo Perico Heist features a rare target, the Panther Statue , which only shows up during special events. Stealing this statue will reward players with a little over $2 million, which can be further supplemented with an additional half a million or so if players fill up the loot bag with secondary targets and crack open the safe in El Rubio's office.

GTA Online Contracts

In addition to its many heists, GTA Online also boasts eight special contracts. Like heists, these money-making missions require players to complete a number of setup tasks before providing them with an opportunity to make some serious cash. They can be tackled solo or with friends and offer huge rewards for those who are able to successfully pull them off. Players can trigger contracts via the job board, although there will only be three available at any given time. They rotate regularly though, so anyone looking for a particular contract should check back often and keep an eye out for messages from Moodymann regarding updates.

The Best Yacht To Buy In GTA Online

There is a small fleet of yachts to buy in GTA Online but one is more worth your money than the others.

There is perhaps not a clearer sign of wealth in GTA Online than owning a yacht. As in real life, a yacht is the ultimate flex of luxury in the world of Los Santos. When Rockstar Games introduced the Galaxy Super Yacht fleet, they released three different yachts for players to purchase. All three of these gigantic boats are well worth your hard-earned GTA cash, as they all boast amenities as far as the eye can see. The main differences in the yachts lie in their price and how many features they have. However, as you'll see, those features don't drift too far apart from yacht to yacht.

Since the yachts start at the sky-high price of $6 million, players have asked if going for the most expensive yacht is actually worth it or if they can get by with the least expensive. It's a similar question that players have asked in regards to cars, jets, and any other property available in the online world of Los Santos. In this guide, we'll be going over all three of the yachts in GTA Online and determining which is the best to buy based on all of the factors.

Kicking us off is The Orion, the least expensive yacht in GTA Online. Of course, the term "least expensive" is used lightly here, as The Orion still costs a whopping $6 million in GTA cash. The Orion, and the other two yachts, are equipped with a 210-foot body and the same basic outside appearance as the two more expensive Galaxy Super Yachts in the game. There's a sun deck on top for sunbathing or throwing parties but no hot tub, unfortunately. Also on the exterior is one single helipad and storage for two vehicles, the Shitzu Tropic and Speedophile Seashark jetski. On the interior, The Orion is equipped with three luxurious guest rooms. Like the rest of the yachts, you can't actually drive The Orion. What you can do is pay your captain to park it somewhere and have it ready for you when you want to come aboard at a certain location. You can also complete six A Superyacht Life missions to reduce your overall operating costs and make some money with your yacht in the process.

The one aspect of The Orion that's truly lacking is that it doesn't spawn with a helicopter and only has one helipad. While not a huge problem, the other two yachts on this list have these aspects over The Orion. If you're in the market for a yacht and can spend $6 million, then you can likely also spend another million for the next yacht on this list. This could make The Orion obsolete unless you're truly strapped for cash.

For one million more than The Orion ($7 million), you can own The Pisces. Compared to The Orion, The Pisces spawns with a helicopter and has two helipads, a hot tub, and space for five vehicles. Those vehicles are the Buckingham Swift (helicopter), Pegassi Speeder, Nagasaki Dinghy, and two Speedophile Seashark jetskis. Aside from the Speeder, the yacht will spawn with all of the aforementioned vehicles, letting you and some friends get to shore or to another location with ease. Having the extra helipad is also nice to either have a friend land on the yacht or to keep a spare in case something happens to your first.

$7 million is considered the sweet spot for the line of Galaxy Super Yachts. You'll see why when we go over the last yacht on this list.

The Aquarius

The big daddy of them all, the Aquarius is the last and most expensive yacht on this list. The final Galaxy Super Yacht of the fleet costs an eye-gouging $8 million. This makes it the most expensive piece of property you can buy in GTA Online by a country mile. The Aquarius has everything The Pisces has, including the two helipads and hot tub, but has room for seven vehicles instead of five. However, those two extra vehicles are two additional Seashark jetskis, which is really only good for if you have half a dozen friends on your yacht at the same time.

The main point of The Aquarius in GTA Online is to flex on other players. Its price point is relatively unwarranted due to the lack of amenities compared to The Pisces. However, if you're a collector of the most luxurious items in Los Santos, The Aquarius needs to be your next purchase.

The verdict

As you might have expected from the descriptions of each yacht, The Pisces is what we consider to be the best Galaxy Super Yacht in GTA Online. It features a great price point and is a huge step up from The Orion at one million dollars more. The Aquarius simply doesn't offer enough compared to The Pisces to warrant it being the best bang for your buck. Unless you truly want to show off your wealth, going with The Pisces is the best option in GTA Online.

How do I set up my own heist in GTA 5 Online?

The one catch to playing heists in GTA Online is that there is quite a bit of setup involved . You cannot simply start a heist until you complete the prerequisite missions, own the right property, and purchase any special vehicles created for the job. Most of these requirements also require you to be at least rank 12 in the progression system. Each rank unlocks new items, properties, and opportunities that often correspond to the game’s various heists.

Start with getting a high-end apartment or one of the game’s various business facilities. Then, walk over to the whiteboard in your home to see the list of available heist steps. For special event heists, like the Casino Diamond Heist, you must wait for the call from Lester and then watch the introductory cutscene. This will permanently unlock the ability to start each new set of missions from the appropriate property type.

Joining an existing heist

One convenient way to hop into the action is to join a crew that has already completed most or all of the setup steps . While you will not have much say over the proceedings, you can still receive a hefty sum from the owner of the session. Be sure that your percentage of the take is satisfactory when you join a heist lobby. Use your in-game smartphone to find a job and select “Play Heist” to use this feature. Alternatively, join a friend who has an open slot in their heist session.

GTA Online can be an incredibly grindy experience. There are so many things to unlock and buy that you will always be striving for that next paycheck. Successful heist attempts off the most substantial payouts, so wise players will return to each of these missions regularly. How to Get New GTA Online Cluckin’ Bell Heist Vehicles

One of the most hotly anticipated features of GTA Online was the heists that were added to the game after release. The newest GTA Online update brings a new heist and some new vehicles to use for the job. Here’s how to get the new Cluckin’ Bell heist vehicles in GTA Online .

What Vehicles Were Added in the GTA Online Cluckin’ Bell Heist?

For the update that dropped on March 7, Rockstar has added three new vehicles to use for your criminal master plans. These vehicles are the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire Interceptor , a Cluckin’ Bell edition of the Vapid Benson , and the Canis Terminus which looks a whole lot like a Jeep Wrangler.

Although none of these vehicles are high-intensity sports cars, they do provide a glimpse into the kind of work that you’ll be performing in the new heist . There will be features of stealth and subterfuge, but that new cop car looks like it’ll be used for some good, old fashioned brute force.

How to Unlock Cluckin’ Bell Heist Vehicles in GTA Online

In order to unlock these new vehicles for purchase, you’ll have to do a bit of heist setup work. However, it’s important to remember that you have to be the leader of your group in order to unlock the vehicles, so don’t expect to join someone’s group as a tagalong and be rewarded with the new wheels. If you’ve got a group of friends who all want to unlock the vehicles, you’ll have to run through the missions multiple times with each person being the leader at least once.

In order to unlock the ability to purchase the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire Interceptor, you’ll just have to complete the first prep mission in the new Cluckin’ Bell heist. This won’t give you the car for free, but you can go to Warstock Cache and Carry to purchase it online for $4,065,000.

On the other hand, if you want to unlock the Vapid Benson in its Cluckin’ Bell livery, you’ll have to reach the final of five prep missions for the heist and complete it as the leader of the group. Afterwards, you can make your way back to the Warstock Cache and Carry website to buy the truck for $513,750.

The final new vehicle is actually not related to the new Cluckin’ Bell heist, but it’s tied to the previous Chop Shop update. The Canis Terminus will be available to purchase with no extra prerequisites from Southern San Andreas Super Autos for $1,877,500, and that’s just for anyone who’s got enough money to swing it. There isn’t any special livery on this one, but it should provide some solid off-road power for your arsenal.

GTA 5 Missions List: All Story Missions Guide & Walkthrough

Here you find the full list of all the GTA 5 Missions , along with the complete story mission guide for Grand Theft Auto V. This includes all the Heists branching approaches, the optional Lester's Assassination Missions , and a walkthrough for all the missions in the single player campaign.

You can access  up to 74 missions in a single playthrough of GTA V, depending on your choices. Playing from the " Prologue " all the way to one of the three possible endings is required for 100% completion .

It is strongly advised to leave the 4 optional Assassination missions for last , until after the main storyline is completed, so that you can make the most money by the end of the game.

As GTA V introduces the ability to switch between three playable characters , for each GTA 5 mission below we show which of the three protagonists are involved, as well as the respective icon that appears on the map to start it.

GTA 5 Story Missions List:

The GTA 5 missions below are listed in  chronological order  - although some missions from different characters become available at the same time, so they can be played in a slightly different order.

GTA V Last Mission: Endings

Grand Theft Auto V has three possible endings that you can choose from, each with significantly different outcomes for the GTA 5 last mission.

It has been confirmed that Ending C (Deathwish) is the canon ending of GTA V, and it's recommended to choose it if you don't want to lose access to one of the main characters.

70 . Something Sensible (Ending A)

Franklin has to make a choice.

WARNING: If you pick this ending, you will permanently lose access to Trevor from this point forward.

70 . The Time's Come (Ending B)

WARNING: If you pick this ending, you will permanently lose access to Michael from this point forward.

70 . The Third Way (Ending C)

Michael, Franklin, and Trevor take down all their enemies: ambush FIB agents and Merryweather mercenaries at the foundry in Murrieta Heights, then target Wei Cheng, Stretch, Steve Haines and Devin Weston.

Lester's Assassinations (Side Missions)

The following are the  GTA V's Assassination Missions given by Lester Crest to Franklin. Only the first (" The Hotel Assassination ") is required for story progression, which is why it's also listed as a main story mission above.

The other four Assassinations are optional, and it's strongly advised to play them after finishing the main storyline , in order to make the most profit out of the stock market investment.

1. The Hotel Assassination

2. The Multi Target Assassination

Lester tasks Franklin to take down four corrupt jurors that are planning to throw a class-action lawsuit against Redwood Cigarettes.

3. The Vice Assassination

Franklin must find and kill Jackson Skinner, the head of product development at Facade. 

4. The Bus Assassination

Lester asks Franklin to assassinate a man called Isaac Penny, who is about to take a controlling share in the Vapid Motor Company. 

5. The Construction Assassination

In the last Assassination, Lester tells Franklin to take down Enzo Bonelli, a mafia member turned real estate developer. 

Note:  Even though  Lester's Assassination Missions  are optional (not required for story progression), they're still counted under the main "Missions" checklist, and they're still needed for 100% completion of the game.

How many missions are in GTA 5?

Despite the GTA V in-game statistics stating that the game has 69 missions , there are actually many more missions available, with branching paths and three possible endings. 

There are actually 83 available story missions in total in GTA 5, which you can find all listed on this page. However, due to the branching nature of Heist approaches, only  74 missions  are played in a single playthrough, while the others can be accessed by selecting different paths.

So why does the game's checklist show "only" 69 missions instead of 74? Well, Rockstar has decided to not include the  "Fire Truck" and "BZ Gas Grenades" heist setups in their listing, and they also don't count the 3 optional "Family Missions" that Micheal can do. This is probably so they could make a reference to the "69" number on purpose, in typical Rockstar fashion.

What do Mission Icon Colors mean in GTA 5?

Since GTA V features three playable protagonists, the game indicates with unique colors on the map the missions that can be started by the different characters:

• A blue icon on the map shows missions that can be started by Michael
• A green icon on the map shows missions that can be started by Franklin
• An orange icon on the map icon shows missions that can be started by Trevor
• If you see a question mark on the map, it's a Strangers & Freaks  side mission.

You can also see the number of missions currently available for each protagonist when switching between them via the Character Wheel.

How to Replay Missions in GTA 5

Grand Theft Auto V features mission scoring, with specific objectives (such as time, damage, accuracy, etc.) required to achieve the  Gold Medal in a mission.

Just completing a mission will give you a Bronze Medal by default. You earn a Silver Medal by meeting at least one objective, but you must complete 100% of the objectives to earn a Gold Medal.

To improve your score, you can replay the missions you already completed, by accessing the Pause Menu and going to the "Game" tab.

It's important to note that you can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission - you don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.

Earning at least 70 Gold Medals between Missions and Strangers & Freaks is required for the  "Solid Gold, Baby!" Achievement / Trophy .

How to Play All Endings in GTA 5

If you would like to play all three endings in Grand Theft Auto V in a single playthrough, and experience what each ending has to offer, the game allows you to do so.

After completing one of the endings, you will find the ability to play the two other endings by accessing the Pause Menu, going to "Game" > Replay Mission", and scrolling all the way to the bottom.

However, this won't change the original choice you made during the course of the playthrough.

If you're unsure on what ending to choose, it's advised to first  make a save in a separate slot after completing "The Big Score" mission. At this point, you are free to experiment with choosing and playing any of the three endings, knowing that you always have a previously saved game that you can return to choose a different ending.

Unless you want to lose access to Michael or Trevor after the end of the story, we strongly recommend choosing  Ending C (Deathwish) , as that's also been confirmed to be the canon ending of the game.

More GTA 5 Side Missions

In addition to the main GTA 5 Story Mode, GTA V also features other optional side missions and activities that can be played.

These include Strangers & Freaks missions , which involve interesting characters that Michael, Franklin, or Trevor can encounter outside the main story.

There are also many  Hobbies & Pastimes and Random Events that you can take part in if you want to fully complete the game.

The Diamond Casino Heist is a heist in Grand Theft Auto Online that tasks players with infiltrating or assaulting the Diamond Casino and robbing the secure vault contained within.

The Diamond Casino Heist Walkthrough

The Diamond Casino & Resort has been taken over by the Duggans, Texan petrochem magnates who wrenched control from Tao Cheng and the Triads.

Georgina Cheng, Vice President of Cheng Holdings, wants to take the Duggans down, and she needs help to do it. Team up with her, and hacker genius Lester Crest, to plan and execute a heist like no other. This heist has a variety of approach vectors, several opportunities for setup and prep missions, and objectives may change on the fly if things go wrong during the job.

The Hideout

Players can obtain the new Arcade Business property by meeting Lester in Mirror Park, which will house the following playable games:

Players must own an Arcade, which can be purchased from Maze Bank Foreclosures, and be registered as a VIP, CEO, or MC President to gain access to the Arcade setup mission. The setup mission must be completed to gain access to Heist planning

Heist Structure

The Diamond Casino Heist is a bit different from previous heists in GTA Online . There are several heist setup missions, and they will differ based on the approach you decide to take. Players can collect certain pieces of equipment, which will allow them to practice elements of the heist, to increase their likelihood of success. As long as your crew has shared lives remaining, failure isn't the end. Failing specific scenarios will not mean the end for the heist as a whole, but rather shift the team into a new scenario.

Heist Setup Missions

There are several heist prep missions, and they will differ based on the approach you decide to take. Setup missions can be launched from the Heist Setup Board in the Underground Hideout, and revolve around intel acquisition. These missions can be used to gather information and equipment to aid in the heist.

Once players have completed the one-time missions, they will need to choose a Heist approach.

• Silent & Sneaky: Players attempt to enter the vault undetected, giving them the least resistance and the longest amount of time to steal from the vault.
• The Big Con: Players attempt to enter the vault by passing themselves off as workers, creating minimal resistance and requiring finesse.
• Aggressive: Players attempt to enter the vault by force, using weapons to overcome extreme levels of resistance.

After an approach has been chosen by the Heist Leader, heist prep will begin.

Heist Prep Missions

Heist Prep will change, based on the heist approach chosen by the group leader, and which ones are completed will determine the various bonuses, equipment, weapons, vehicles , and crew they will have access to in the Heist Finale.

Players will be able to select their Heist Crew based on various factors, with each one contributing a particular skillset to the job.

Heist Finale

Once players have picked their approach and completed prep missions, the Heist Leader can initiate the finale.

After finalizing details and choosing the location of the Buyer, the Heist Finale will begin. This stage will vary wildly based on the approach chosen, the particular intel players gathered, and the equipment obtained during the Setup phase.
