These guys are great, especially Arin. Unfortunately, I ended up buying a boat through a competing boat dealer that was the opposite, just because they happened to have the listing of the boat I decided upon. In contrast to the dealer I purchased through, Wayne and Arin answered all our questions, without condescension, including that of my fiancee, who has zero sailing experience. And Arin took the time to show us numerous boats when we were in the tire-kicking phase. While we didn't buy our boat through Atomic Tuna, when it comes time to sell and get a larger boat, they are definitely who we will list our boat with and start our search for a replacement.

We Just closed our sailing yacht purchase on Saturday!We worked with Geli at Atomic Tuna and she was fantastic. She was not pushy, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Everything you would ask for in a sales person. Love her! We are so looking forward to go sailing around the beautiful bay!

My new Yacht from Atomic Tuna

I tried to sell my SeaRay 390 through this company. The agent came out to look at it, and was only an hour late. We are a liveaboard family and the boat was very messy then. Maybe that's the reason why I couldn't get our agent to call us back. Even when she would text that she would return our calls we still couldn't get a call back. It's sad because she offered us a lot of benefits with her sales package. Oh well, off to another broker. It's too bad because it's an excellent Express Cruiser.

I bought my sailboat via Atomic Tuna last month and highly recommend them. Frank and Geli were honest, personable and professional - a real pleasure to work with, even though they were representing the seller. My purchase would not have happened without their advice and effort to get some repair issues cleared up in advance - they kept on top of the details and made my life easier. I would highly recommend them over the other 5 brokers I dealt with in looking at boats.

As a bareboat sailor, I was shopping for my first liveaboard sailboat that could reliably coastal cruise. After meeting literally dozens of salesman at various brokers, I met Wayne. He was the only broker who took a personal interest and sought to truly understand my personal goal and vision. After a few showings, i bought my boat through Wayne, but what i got was much more than a boat...I got a dedicated, capable and personable professional that has continued to support/advised me in every situation I have encountered over my four years of ownership. I actually got a trusted, knowledgeable, valued relationship. If you are in the market to buy, sell or simply to learn about your boating options, i highly recommend Wayne.

The website looks great and the photos of my boat were perfect, but recommend doing some diligence before choosing to sell through Atomic Tuna. I unfortunately didn't have a choice due to their acquisition of another broker, but once they were involved I couldn't get anyone to email or call me back about changing the sale price, status or including it in their virtual boat show. However they were always quick to send a bill. The entire experience was disappointing and i've intentionally kept them out of the process of our next boat purchase.

I can't say enough about how Wayne handled the sale of my Pilothouse boat. From the start, he jumped in and got great pics and videos on his AtomicTuna website and from there, he kept me informed of all activities and interest from potential buyers. Then when we started negotiating with a serious buyer, he guided the way so that all parties were fully aware of how the process was going. He handled coordinating some minor repairs during the survey, and made the entire process seamless and very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting AtomicTuna to list your boat and after taking to the folks that purchased our boat, they feel the same way as a buyer. What a pro!!!

Atomic Tuna Yachts is excellent! Michelle Leonard could not have done a better job in finding the perfect boat for us. Her experience and demeanor made us feel comfortable through the whole process. Wayne is extremely knowledgeable and we couldn't be happier! I highly recommend them for buying or selling a boat!

Atomic Tuna is a newer yacht broker, but you wouldn't know it by their business practice. I could not be more pleased with my experience with them and would recommend to anyone looking to buy, sell or learn more about yachts and sailboats. Wayne is knowledgeable, helpful and attentive to consumer needs and the company soars above its competitors in terms of proactively reaching out to customers and easing along the buying/selling process.

Tom Mowbray

Tom is a lifelong and passionate boating enthusiast who grew up racing dinghies in Southern Africa and continued racing offshore after moving to Portsmouth, UK where he served as an engineer in the British Merchant Navy before graduating with a degree in Industrial Engineering. He carried out sailboat deliveries around the UK and in the Mediterranean in his spare time. Currently a US Coast Guard Captain, he continues to deliver boats and cruise fairly extensively in US and international waters. Toms Engineering career brought him to the Mid-Western United States where he was responsible for building systems and technology for Hyatt Hotels. He continued to race sailboats in the Great Lakes, completing several Chicago - Mackinaw Island races and running a boat charter business. After that, he arrived in the Bay Area, heading up customer service, sales and business development for several Tech Start-Ups, successfully deploying solutions nationwide, cruising racing and chartering boats whenever possible.

Tom transitioned into the brokerage business after taking some time off to sail and finding that his experience offshore and passion for the sea was a great fit when helping individuals search for the right boat to fulfil their dreams, whether they were planning their next big adventure or simply wanting to cruise in the Bay.

He has a broad knowledge of new and brokerage power and sailboats, the systems on them, and he specializes in boats by the Hanse Group, having helped clients specify them, visited the factory, delivered several of them. Tom also serves on the board of the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association, a non-profit focused on getting more people to enjoy San Francisco’s waterfront and appreciate its maritime heritage.
