Design Families with Proven Reliability

Moonen Yachts builds premium semi-custom yachts, currently offering the Moonen 110 Mustique (34m/279GT) and the Moonen 122 Martinique (37.4m/345GT). The Mustique and Martinique design families share Moonen’s reputation for superior craftsmanship and ocean-going capability, as well as exteriors by renowned Dutch designer René van der Velden and engineering by Dutch studio Diana Yacht Design – both long-standing partners of Moonen Yachts. VIDEO: First Moonen 110 yacht completes sea trials

The first 34-metre Moonen 110 has completed a week of sea trials including a successful endurance test off the Dutch coast on the North Sea. Moonen Yachts is completing the long-range steel yacht at its shipyard in the Netherlands. The Moonen 110 is available for delivery on May 31.

Moonen Yachts Project Manager John Bechtold was very satisfied with the yacht’s performance at sea: ‘It’s always exciting to take a brand new design out for the first time. She performed very well at sea, very stable and comfortable. We really noticed how low the noise and vibrations levels are. She’s a beautiful boat.’

The Moonen 110 recaptures the quality and ocean-going performance of past generations of Moonen yachts, with more space, future-proof technology and more economical operation as low as 60 litres per hour.

‘The Moonen 110 is a timeless beauty that exemplifies Dutch design excellence,’ says Commercial Director Victor Caminada. ‘For example the owner stateroom is exceptional thanks to both the sweeping 180-degree panoramic views as well as the high comfort levels. When the yacht is at anchor with the generator running, the owner stateroom will have a noise level of just 43dB(A).’

Moonen Yachts is a luxury motor yacht builder based in 's-Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. The yacht building company focuses on constructing fully custom and semi-custom steel-hulled superyachts, including a Displacement Series and an Explorer series, as well as an all-aluminium Fast Yacht Series of semi-displacement motor yachts. Moonen shipyards' history takes us back to 1981, when in the medieval Brabant town of 's-Hertogenbosch the company was founded. Back then the company was building inland steel cruisers for predominantly local customers. The company quickly gained reputation for outstanding quality and service, which led to Moonen's expansion to the continental Europe , United Kingdom as well as East, becoming a leader in what they proudly call "pocket-size superyachts".

Building only three or four yachts per year, Moonen Yachts focuses more on the quality of each one of the vessels, rather than on the quantity in production. They strive to bring to life each client's unique vision of the ideal yacht, while maintaining the signature "Moonen look". Each yacht's interior boasts flawless handmade wooden joinery, designed, furnished and decorated to the owner's taste.

A full range of refit work is also available for owners who wish to give new life to their superyachts. Moonen's construction hall of 60 metres allows refits to yachts with a length of up to approximately 50 metres (165 feet).
