Our harbour of departure is in the middle of the Frisian Lakes region, in Workum in the Netherlands. Perfect for sailing trips to the IJsselmeer, the Wadden Sea and, of course, the beautiful Frisian Lakes.

Rental of a vessel with no experience in flat-bottomed sailing? No problem!  Sailing courses , maneuvring courses and sailing tuition are part of our charter programme. For new charter customers, training is mandatory or proof of experience.

Segeln pur in schöner Atmosphäre Eine Woche waren wir unterwegs bis Amsterdam und zurück. Ein schönes großes Schiff mit dem man auch sportliche Segeln kann. Läuft super unter Segel und Motor. Wir waren zu sechs Seglern. Das war genau richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt an Bord. Zur Bedienung der Wadwaai braucht man aber ein bißchen men- bzw. Frauenpower. Perfecte vakantie op de Wiede Weerga De Wiede Weerga is een perfect onderhouden schip en van alle gemakken voorzien. De service van Sailcharter Workum was ook zeer welkom en relaxed. Wij hebben 10 dagen lang gezeild waarvan het overgrote deel op het Wad. De GPS plotter in de kuip is dan ontzettend handig. De boot zeilt prima aan de wind en ook de motor heeft voldoende vermogen. Het bed voorin is ontzettend ruim als je met de driehoek de volledige grootte benut. We hebben een weekend een bevriend stel op bezoek gehad, en zij sliepen op de... 5,0 Gijs

'Lemsteraak Juffrouw Ooievaer' Die 'Lemsteraak Juffrouw Ooievaer' hat uns wirklich Spaß gemacht! Das Handling war, nach ein wenig Eingewöhnung, sehr gut. Bugstrahlruder und Kamerasicht aus dem Mast sind sehr gute Hilfsmittel. Spaß hat auch das fahren unter Segeln gemacht. Das Schiff läuft im Vergleich (also mit nach meiner Erfahrung... habe bislang fünf Lemsteraaken gesegelt) sehr gut am Wind. Leider hatten wir nur wenig davon, was einige Touren unter Motor erforderlich gemacht hat. Dieser hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war... 5,0 Jo

Fijne dag op De Bellefleur Wij zijn helemaal tevreden over ons dagje IJsselmeer met de Bellefleur. We hadden een kapitein die heel goed aanvoelde wat ik met mijn gezin (7 volwassenen) wilden doen: zeilen. Helaas viel de wind wat tegen maar zowel de boot als de kapitein waren geweldig. 4,3 Gert

Mooi compleet uitgeruste lemsteraak Netjes en compleet uitgerust schip met goeie zeil eigenschappen, onderweg veel positieve reacties gehad over de Leazytails( vangnet grootzeil). We misten alleen een klaptafel in de achterkuip ( en daarbij een paar fijne zitkussens) 4,8 Sander krikke

prima goede ontvangst, afleveren ook duidelijk en ontspannen schip (Dorothee) goede grootte voor 4 personen, ook als we verwaaid lagen vaart goed 4,5 Wil Walvis

Kleddernat, winderig, maar heerlijk Tussen de buien door was het lekker droog en waaide het stevig door. Super om dan op zo’n topschip als de Blauwe Heks te zitten. Loopt als een trein, beweegt soepel door de forse zeegang heen en zeilvoering is gemakkelijk en snel aan de omstandigheden aan te passen. Goed anker ook. Fijn als het ‘s nachts hoogwater is en fors waait. 5,0 Olivier

Vakantie met de Bellefleur Mooi schip wat vele bewonderende reacties van mede watersporters oplevert. Compleet uitgerust en met de easy sailing configuratie ook met kleine bemanning goed te varen. 4,5 Cees

Wundervoller Urlaub auf dem Watt Wir, eine Familie mit 2 Kindern, hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit auf diesem urigen, klassischen Boot. Die Fahrt auf der Waddenzee, wo man beim Trockenfallen die Gezeiten direkt erleben kann, war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis, was auch die Kinder sehr begeistert hat. Sie konnten im Matsch spielen, den Meeresboden erforschen und das Boot von unten angucken. Als das Wasser da war, haben uns auch ein paar Robben besucht. Kurz-Törn vom 21.07.-24.07.2023 in Friesland auf der "Lutije Man" Wir wurden von Michael und seiner Assistentin im Büro freundlich begrüßt. Das Schiff lag im Hafen übernahmebereit. Die Ausstattung technisch sowie vom Inventar waren gut und das Schiff machte insgesamt einen sauberen uns sehr guten Eindruck auf uns. Das Platzangebot unter Deck war für uns (7 Erwachsene, 1 Kleinkind) mehr als ausreichend. Es fehlten ein paar Kleinigkeiten an Bord wie z. Welcome to yacht charter L. van der Pol. We have been renting out sailing yachts and motorboats for your wonderful sailing holidays since 1979. Quality and fun are our top priority! Our well-maintained fleet consists of well-known brands such as Bavaria , Dufour , Dehler , Balt , Friendship , Sportina , Compromis , Victoire and the Geuzen/Breehornvalk . Our ships guarantee a wonderful day, week or weekend on the water. In 2017, we added the Sea Angler cabin skiff to our fleet. This is a fantastic motorboat for a multi-day sailing trip. In 2018, we are adding the similar Akkrumer vlet 760 .

Luxurious sailing yacht rental in Friesland

All of our ships are furnished completely and luxuriously. Even our smallest yacht has a complete inventory that even includes dishwashing soap and a safety lighter. This also means that there are no extra costs for e.g. life jackets or charts. The only cost not included is fuel, all else is provided. We therefore like to say that a sleeping bag and food are all you really need to bring.

A professional team

After almost 40 years of renting out boats, it is safe to say that we have all of the necessary knowledge on board. In case anything should happen during your vacation, a team of professionals will help you get back on the water as soon as possible. We would like to introduce ourselves to you!

Facilities at our marina

All of our ships are rented at our marina in the center of the unique Frisian lake region. Our location (watersportboulevard ‘t Ges) is only 10 minutes away from the Sneekermeer and the center of Sneek , without any bridges or sluices in between. In only three hours you can be on the IJsselmeer. With some of our boats it is also possible to sail the Wadden Sea, allowing you to sail as far as Terschelling or Amsterdam . Our marina has a parking lot and good sanitary facilities (showers and toilets). We also have a small camping ground with a seating area and fire pit, in case you want to stay a night in the marina.

Sailing is green

Green is more fashionable than ever, and sailing might just be the eco-friendliest holiday there is. Sailing is essentially wind energy and when you do need to use the engine, it is good to know that all engines in our fleet conform to the most recent emission regulations.

The ship has, just like our other ships, luxurious equipment and is therefore extremely suitable for boating holidays over the Frisian waters or beyond. The Delphia motor cruiser is equipped with a sofa bed and an outdoor shower. Not only is the inside spacious and comfortable, the cockpit outside also has plenty of room so that you can comfortably sit and enjoy the beautiful waters around you. The cockpit can be closed by means of a tent. The cabin cruiser is equipped with a bow thruster and an Ipad GPS navigation.

With the two of us In June a nice trip along the Frisian villages and towns, with a trip via the Lauwersmeer to Groningen. Our ship was the 12-meter long Bittern. Spacious enough for 6 people. Our 19th century farmhouse is beautifully situated in the Frisian landscape, amid waterways, Frisian lakes and meadows. Far away from all the crowds. All holiday homes  have a large living room with cable TV, two to three bedrooms, a private terrace with open views and a bathroom with toilet and shower. There is also a washing machine for shared use. You can enjoy fishing from the shore or rent a fishing boat, sloop , or sailboat and go on the water yourself. Also check out our nice boating routes. Boating to an island is recommended for a fun day out. Of course it is also great cycling in the middle of the Frisian lake area. Recently all skylights, bathrooms but also the carpet in the bedrooms have been renewed. Most houses are also equipped with a new kitchen. Unique stay on a sailing jacket from 1901

The Confiance is a Tjalk built in 1901 and was renovated in 2013 and sails (unfortunately not with bookings via Airbnb) from Harlingen with a maximum of 20 people over the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer. Now the ship is in a beautiful spot in Harlingen and is a perfect base to visit Harlingen, make bike rides, visit museums or the islands of Vlieland and Terschelling. Information on sailing with the ship can be found on the website of sailing charter Confiance.

Stay and stay on a yacht, enjoying the view… An experience not to be missed! The boat has almost all the comforts. From lovely beds, private bathrooms to a hot tub. If you want something exclusive, this is your chance! Also a perfect base for cycling hiking. Everything is available within a 10-minute drive: (supermarket, golf course and shops, etc.). You can rent sloops and boats at the park. Enjoying the Frisian lakes is something you should not miss!

Cozy kotter on Lauwersmeer

Our kotter, Lady B sits in the Lauwersmeer marina at the edge of Lauwersmeer National Park. The place for nature lovers, bird watchers and peace seekers. The harbour is close to Landal park Esonstad and visitors can use facilities such as restaurants, supermarket, playground etc. Perfect mix between peace and quiet. What an experience to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the back deck of your ship, while enjoying something tasty and nice company.

Unique overnight stay in an authentic Schouw in Uitwellingerga Overnight to never forget on the water in a sailing chimney of 6 meters. The tub has a spacious seating / sleeping area for 2 people. The kitchen part is fully equipped. To prepare food, there is an electric hob available (whale electricity is provided). Food can be prepared on the outside deck! If you want to sail or sail then you can rent our small sloop or the polyvalk.

Unique adventure on the water!

A unique way to get around Friesland is through the water. If you step aboard our Norwegian Spitsgatter, your holiday starts immediately. No sailing license necessary! It is a boat of 8.5 meters long and 3.30 wide with as a fixed port Stavoren. You don't need a boating license to drive this boat and it has a bow screw. The boat is completely self-sufficient.
