The former Man Utd striker is enjoying a much-needed break in Porto Cervo, Sardinia with his family, including Georgina Rodriguez and their brood.

The famous Wag took to Instagram show off their holiday, with Ronaldo spotted diving into the ocean and the group posing for a family snap.

Of course, they are doing it in style on board the lavish 88-feet long Azimut Grande, which they splashed the cash on in 2020.

Built in Azimut-Benett 's shipyards in Versilia, Italy, it boasts five luxury cabins and six stunningly decorated bathrooms.

There's also a modern kitchen onboard, as well as two relaxation areas, a huge lounge, and a lavish dining room.

In 2020, Ronaldo spotted the yacht in Viareggio, Italy, at the Azimut-Benetti Shipyards before buying it for himself. Called the Azimut-Grande 27, the yacht offers dynamic stability with its carbon-fiber structure that reduces weight and increases the surface area. Azimut-Grande 27 was designed by Achille Salvagni Architects, while the prolific superyacht designer Stefano Righini completed the exterior styling. The yacht's overall length is 26.78 meters, width is 6.59 meters with a maximum speed of 28 knots, as reported by Azimut Yachts .

The yacht's interior is equipped with space and comfort that the family can enjoy. It features five expansive bedrooms and six equally stunning bathrooms. Additionally, it has two lounge rooms with a dining table in the adjoining open area for a romantic dinner. The kitchen is stocked with modern appliances for the crew to make meals, as stated by Daily Star . The deck has an open bar with two lounge areas to bask in the sunlight next to it. The Owner's Cabin is located on the yacht's Main Deck and has full-height windows on all sides to offer a scenic view of the ocean.

The Azimut-Grande 27 was built considering the highest nautical standards and has received the CE Category A and NMMA certifications that ensure that the boat follows two important safety codes. At the Wheelhouse, the yacht is equipped with an Optimus Electronic Power Steering system created by Seastar Solutions and helps the owner configure responses to eliminate hydraulic lines from the helm station. With its Active Trim Control, the superyacht offers an increase in speed and lower fuel consumption.

CRISTIANO RONALDO is soaking up the sun on board his £5.5million superyacht after whisking his family on holiday to Majorca.

The Manchester United star is recuperating after his first season back in the Premier League - and doing it in some style.

In 2020 the 37-year-old splashed the cash on the lavish 88-feet long Azimut Grande .

And Ronaldo, along with partner Georgina Rodriguez and children Cristiano Jr, 11, Eva, 5, Matteo, 5, Alana Martina, 4, and Bella, two-months are enjoying the Spanish weather on the high seas.

The family are staying in a luxury villa , secluded from prying eyes, that sits at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains.

Of course, they arrived by style - using his £20million G200 private jet to fly there.

However, with the living area spread across three floors, not to mention the roof terrace, you get a feeling the space could never be overwhelmed even by the most ardent collector.

And Pascal is a collector , but with a pared-back, minimalistic and measured approach as befits his profession as a lawyer –not to mention his passion for polo, both of which require a keen eye for detail and razor-sharp instincts.

It was these decisive traits that saw Pascal close on the Dh22 million villa at the end of 2021 with Agatha Magdalena of Dubai Sotheby's International Realty , moving in the spring of 2022 with his wife and their dachshund, Boston.

“I had a similar town house in Switzerland and was looking for something with several floors and a garden,” he says. “We wanted to be close to the sea because I love swimming, and so I found this community.”

A contemporary canvas

That community is “Billionaire’s Island”, as the luxury residential beachfront enclave of Jumeirah Bay is nicknamed. It's a 10-minute drive from City Walk and 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport, and a short stroll to the nearby Bulgari Hotel and Yacht Club .

Amalfi Villa has a living space of 4,012 square feet on a 3,118-square-foot plot, with lush communal gardens beyond the terraced courtyard and views of the Dubai skyline and Burj Khalifa from the rooftop.

A lift services the first three floors (Boston’s preferred method of getting upstairs), with the living area, dining room and kitchen – with its Miele appliances – on the ground floor, a bedroom, mezzanine family room and two balconies on the second, and the main and second bedrooms on the third floor.

All bedrooms are en suite, along with two additional powder rooms and a maid’s room on the ground floor.

“In my view, the interior design has to match with the building,” says Pascal. “Here we have contemporary town house styles and to fit in with the house itself, the interior design is contemporary and minimalistic but also with touches here and there, art and pictures.”

Pascal's travels through Africa and Asia mean plenty of artwork from those continents are dotted around the villa, while his love for the UAE is apparent in the large white corals he found washed up on the beach in Fujairah. These take pride of place on black plinths in the living and dining rooms, as well as in the bedroom.

“I love the sea and I love diving. I found them on the beach around Fujairah and they have become statement pieces,” he says.

Changes made to the original interior are few and far between, but impactful. Three towering structural columns between the vast windows have been layered with Italian marble over their original light cocoa hue.

“The columns were not covered in marble and I took advantage of their position to use them as a design element,” Pascal says. “There is marble on the kitchen island, and I wanted something similar. The bedrooms, too, feature statement marble walls and aesthetically I like it. It’s like a piece of design without having lots of stuff on your walls. It’s beautiful, like art in itself.”

The couple also added travertine, a textured sedimentary rock, to the walls and floor of the open-air courtyard and terrace. “We wanted the garden to be an extension of the lounge, so the colours match the beige inside and out so that it flows seamlessly,” he says.

Greenery comes courtesy of towering palm fronds in oversized pots, as well as stark, minimalistic cacti potted on the balconies.

The open-plan layout is the perfect foil for the natural light that streams in through the top-floor skylight, which opens to reveal access to the roof terrace.

The community itself is well set up for outdoor life, with vast communal gardens and a pool, as well as the private beach that lines the shore of this seahorse-shaped island, where footballer Cristiano Ronaldo owns a home.

Island living close to the city

“We really enjoy living here,” reiterates Pascal. “It’s quiet, as there are not so many people, but at the same time it’s very close to Dubai city centre and City Walk. I feel like I’m on an island somewhere, especially with how green it is and with the sea all around.”

Daily swims, followed by leisurely dinners on the terrace, weather-permitting, make up home life for the trio, with Pascal noting his wish to stay true to “Arabic colours” has come true.

“I’m very happy we have a place like this island in the UAE,” he says. “In Dubai you can live a very urban city life if you want to, such as in Downtown or DIFC, which feel like New York or London. And then, just a few minutes away, there’s here where you could be on an island in the middle of the ocean.”

It was made of carbon fiber for a total weight of about 93 tons and is powered by two 1900 horsepower engines that can reach a maximum speed of 28 knots powered by a 9500-liter tank that guarantees a very good range.

LIFE on the ocean waves looks perfect for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal legend is currently lounging on his amazing £5.5million yacht in Sardinia.

The former Man Utd striker is enjoying a much-needed break in Porto Cervo, Sardinia with his family, including Georgina Rodriguez and their brood.

The famous Wag took to Instagram show off their holiday, with Ronaldo spotted diving into the ocean and the group posing for a family snap.

Of course, they are doing it in style on board the lavish 88-feet long Azimut Grande, which they splashed the cash on in 2020.

Built in Azimut-Benett’s shipyards in Versilia, Italy, it boasts five luxury cabins and six stunningly decorated bathrooms.

HIS OWN YACHT

Ronaldo bought the super-yacht in 2020 for £5.5million, which is just a drop in the ocean for the star who now earns a reported £173m a year playing for Saudi side Al-Nassr.

Previously, he used to rent the Africa I yacht from a charter company before buying his own.

That year, he was able to take his family including missus Georgina out on the Azimut Grande as they sailed along Italy’s Tyrrhenian coast for its debut voyage.

Georgina showed off the vessel by sharing a sexy bikini snap on Instagram perched on deck.

She posted various photos of the family, relaxing in one of the bedrooms, and serving Cristiano lunch.

It gave us a window into their incredible lifestyle, that is one to envy.

Ronaldo is taking time off from Al-Nassr, who signed him in January.

Unfortunately, his club missed out on winning the league title to Al-Ittihad in the penultimate round.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been getting over his Euro 2020 disappointment by soaking up the sun on a mega yacht.

The Portuguese captain could not inspire his side to repeat their continental heroics of five years ago, losing out 1-0 to Belgium in the round-of-16.

Having also suffered a tough campaign with Juventus , missing out on the Serie A title and having a disappointing Champions League campaign, the 36-year-old has been enjoying some down time.

And Ronaldo has been doing this on his incredible mega match believed to be worth £5.5m, having bought it last year.

Called an Azimut Grande, it is 88 feet from bow to stern - only 12 shot of the minimum requirement by FIFA for the length of a football pitch.

The 88-foot boat is made of carbon-fibre, weighing 93 tonnes and able to reach speeds of 28 knots

But his agent Jorge Mendes has been in touch with the Italian giants ‘asking for a new deal’ .

Sardinia luxury yacht charter

Sardinia’s scalloped bays, shimmering sands and dramatic coastline have long been the playground of screen starlets, royalty, first families and the yachting elite. With some of the most exclusive harbours, hotels and restaurants in the western Mediterranean, a luxury yacht charter around the Italian island of Sardinia seamlessly combines sun-soaked glamour with timeless elegance and natural beauty. Sardinia yacht season and weather

Sardinia is hot and dry from May to October with the island enjoying an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. Peak charter months are July and August, though June is also an excellent time to charter. August is particularly busy as most Italians take their holidays during this month.

Most rain falls between October and February, giving much of Sardinia a lush and verdant character. Visitors may well experience balmy summer days in March and April, though evenings will be cool during this time of year. The prevailing wind is north westerly, which can be particularly significant on the Strait of Bonifacio at the north of the island.

Historic Cagliari crowns Sardinia’s southern edge, and a litter of pretty coves and tiny villages then await. With vineyards inland and towns steeped in history, it is a region rich in cultural and gastronomic offerings. Yachts up to 55 metres LOA can drop anchor at Marina di Cagliari.

To the north, the superyacht haven of Porto Cervo is the central hub for the yachting elite that descend on Sardinia’s glittering Costa Smeralda each summer. Home to some of Europe’s most expensive residences and exclusive resorts, including the iconic Cala di Volpe hotel, Porto Cervo pulsates during the summer season and its bars and restaurants promise a great night ashore.

The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is based in Porto Cervo and organises a packed yacht racing season throughout the summer. Highlights of the Mediterranean cruising calendar in Sardinia include the Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta, the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta, the Maxi Rolex Cup and Rolex Swan Cup – all lively events for sailing enthusiasts in Porto Cervo to get involved with. Yachts up to 120 metres can berth at the IGY marina in Port Cervo.

South of Porto Cervo, the resort village of Porto Rotondo’s turquoise waters, pristine beaches and charming piazzas will prove irresistible, and the port here has 25 berths for megayachts. Cruise 20 nautical miles and dock at Marina di Olbia (for yachts up to 80 metres) to discover the city’s café-lined squares. Further south explore the caves near Cala Luna, where the peaks of Gennargentu National Park provide a dramatic backdrop and the snorkelling is excellent. Nearby Cala Goloritzé is another natural wonder.

From the northern coast of the main island cruise about 10 nautical miles offshore toward the spectacular archipelago of La Maddalena. While away long, languid sunny days around Caprera, Spargi, Santo Stefano, Santa Maria, Budelli and Razzoli, and discover some of Sardinia’s best beaches and the island’s breathtaking lagoons. On Isola Maddalena, Cala Gavetta marina can host yachts up to 60 metres LOA, as can the marina of the Hotel Excelsior. On Capera, Porto Palma can accommodate yachts up to 40 metres.

Some luxury yacht charters will combine the magic of Sardinia with French-held Corsica – the islands lie in a north to south run, with Corsica sitting off Sardinia’s northerly tip.

On Corsica , visit the historic capital of Porto-Vecchio, discover the UNESCO wonders of the Lavezzi islands and marvel at the houses perched atop the windswept bluffs in Bonifacio before cruising south to the majestic La Maddelena archipelago.

Some important things to consider before booking your yacht;

Marinas tend to get quite busy during peak summer months, so you need to consider that when deciding on what night's you wish to spend in a slip. Ideally, find a yacht that is comfortable with ample leisure and entertainment facilities onboard.
Mistrals are quite common during the shoulder months of May and October, so check with your charter broker about the best anchorages and itineraries if you intend on traveling during these months.
You should also be aware that certain zones in Sardinia's waters are restricted to protect the sea grass, which may impact on where you anchor the yacht. This is something you can discuss with your yacht broker, or yacht captain when deciding on your itinerary.

Due to its popularity during the Mediterranean Season, there should be a wide selection of yachts to choose from, so there is sure to be something that suits both you and your budget.

The island is also renowned for its protected marine reserves and beautiful clear waters where snorkeling and diving are the favorite activities for yacht charters. where the yacht can spend a day or two in a pretty sheltered anchorage while you and your guests take to the Carribean-blue waters for a spot of diving and snorkeling.

Another option is to begin your yacht charter on Italy's west coast only a short hop across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Alternatively, charters can begin on the spellbindingly rugged island of Croatia in the north, separated only by a narrow strait famed for its sailing.

Once you have decided on your perfect yacht, your yacht broker will then draw up the necessary contract; a legally binding agreement between you and the owner of the yacht. At this point, based on the type of contract, you will be required to pay 50% of the cost of the yacht up front, with an additional 25-30% of this base rate to cover additional expenses you and your guests are expected to incur whilst on charter.
