Yacht Club BREAKFAST Menu

This is the Yacht Club breakfast menu, which seems to be essentially the same in all Yacht Club restaurants.

In the separate threads for Yacht Club LUNCH and  DINNER menus you will note that after the main set of menus, which were given to @Beamafar  and declared complete by her YC MD, there are additional menus from other MSC ships and sailings that are at best variations on the main set.  So I am not giving any warranty that the menu posted here is the only breakfast menu.

@Beamafar  and  I have now done our part.  If you would like to contribute, please feel free to post additional menus (or variations) and 'food porn' pictures.  Just please remember that this thread is for Yacht Club BREAKFAST menus only.  See the separate threads for Yacht Club LUNCH and   DINNER  menus .

This is the dining room.

This may have been asked and buried in a different post somewhere but does anyone know if it is possible to order breakfast items via room service in YC that are not on the official room service menu? Such as those on the menu posted above?

I ask because on NCL (suite) they told us that we could order whatever we wanted for breakfast (within reason and if available, of course) even though not on the menu - just to manually write on the card what we wanted.

Not sure if that's something MSC will do.

Good question and something that I did not try to do.  Not sure if one could or not.

As a solo YC guest, something unusual in comparison to ordering Room Service on other ships, my Butler served my tray with one cup of coffee--not a pot of coffee--just one filled cop.  Most mornings I went to the YC Restaurant for breakfast.

On 10/20/2019 at 2:51 PM, Host Jazzbeau said: Breakfast:

If you enjoy a seated/served breakfast, you will love your YC breakfast!

Quiet with service (most mornings) as good as at lunch and dinner.  Usually, just one of the two Maitre d's was working, but their excellent, active service was just as good as at dinner.  Once, I ordered both the assorted cheese and cold cut plate:  delicious.  I preferred  the Ranchero Potatoes over the Hash Browns.  When I ordered poached eggs or Eggs Benedict, I was asked how I liked the eggs cooked.  (They were prepared as I requested.)   Coffee cup was kept filled, usually without having to request that.  One morning, I ordered their Stewed Apples and was served enough for 2-3 people:  very good, though.  Their breads that I ate were all very good; I love croissants and those were as good as any I have eaten.

One oddity:  while Grapefruit Juice was listed on the menu as being freshly squeezed, when I requested a half Grapefruit, it was not available.

Only once did I have breakfast at the YC Pool Grill and was pleased with the offerings.  Items, such as the potatoes or bacon that were self serve, cooled quickly in the open air and I was disappointed with the much fewer choices of the bread offerings.  There were three--as I recall:  hard rolls,  a variety of bread slices, or a small selection of danish type pastries.  A much greater selection was available in the YC Restaurant.

I enjoyed Breakfast on MSC Meraviglia!

That's odd. We've just come off Preziosa and I chose Fresh grapefruit 11 days out of fourteen...

Good for you.  I like the fact that the sections of the fruit were served as shown.  Makes it much easier than "digging" the fruit out of the skin.

Ah, after the second day I even had the peel removed.

That's how good the staff were. They witnessed me removing it on day two and obviously informed the chef.

Funnily enough, a few years ago on Seabourn a half grapefruit appeared that had just been sliced in half and the 'pulp' not separated.

Regardless of the ship on which I have sailed, I have never had the pulp not separated.  More of than not, the separations are large enough that I need to use fork and knife to do a bit more "dissecting".

Well done you.

Though that was the one reason that I remembered Seabourn can fall short.

I don't see either of the items I liked best at the non-Yacht Club breakfast: walnut sticky buns (cinnamon rolls), and breakfast pizzas.

Nor congee.  The toppings were very nice.

3 hours ago, shipgeeks said: I don't see either of the items I liked best at the non-Yacht Club breakfast: walnut sticky buns (cinnamon rolls), and breakfast pizzas.

I think the sticky buns were available.  I recall seeing them on the display as one entered the YC Restaurant for breakfast.  Breakfast pizzas?  No.  Not in the Dining Room nor at the Pool Grille that I recall.

2 hours ago, shipgeeks said: Nor congee.  The toppings were very nice.

I don't recall that either on MSC.  I had congee when I was in China.  In my opinion, it's one of those foods that one has to acquire a "taste for".

Next June will be my first Yacht Club experience. I've stayed in The Haven on NCl and they offer Steak and Eggs. Will I be able to get this on MSC?

Beamafar

Steak is not on the breakfast menu.  However, if you speak to the YC asst m’D he may be able to arrange it for you.

Agree!  The staff does their best to accommodate guests' requests.

I enjoyed reading the menu again.  Thanks for posting it.  Seeing that Stewed Applies remain available reminds me of the morning when I ordered that along with juice and a regular full breakfast.  My Steward brought me a full bowl of the fruit!  Much more than I expected.  I saved it for a breakfast "dessert"; a first for me.  Delicious, but I needed to "waddle" out of the Dining Room that morning!

I searched for 15 minutes the current YC Bar List (+ Wine selection at the YC Restaurant), but I cannot find it. Does anyone have an idea? I plan to cruise in Mediterranean sea on the MSC Seaside.

And thanks a lot @elbarney for sharing the YC Lunch/Dinner lists. Great job!!

In January, we sailed on MSC Meraviglia for a 9-night cruise. Each night, we dined at the private Top Sail Restaurant – exclusive to Yacht Club guests. Because food is such an important part of our cruise experience, we captured every dinner menu to share with you.

To make it easier to digest (see what I did there!!), we’ve split the 9 dinners into 3 separate pages, complete with photos of the food. Scroll down to see just how well we ate during the course of our cruise!

MSC Yacht Club – Night One Dinner Menu

For our first dinner in the Yacht Club Top Sail Lounge, we each enjoyed multiple starters and entrées. We both ended our meal with the Tiramisu.

MSC Yacht Club Menus (2024) with Pictures

I got the Nordic Salad and the Fire-Roasted Tomato Cream Soup as my Starters. Because I couldn’t decide on my meal, I got two: the Tortellini Stuffed with Asparagus and Mascarpone Cheese along with the Punjabi Tadka.

msc euribia yacht club menu

MSC Yacht Club – Night Two Dinner Menu

The second night in the Top Sail Lounge was the Gala Dinner (aka, Formal Night). There were so many wonderful options on the menu, and we, once again, each ordered several appetizers!

msc euribia yacht club menu

I ordered the Williams Salad and Burgundy Snails (fun fact: escargot is one of my favorite starters). For my entrée, I ordered the Champagne Risotto. While I won’t rehash our Yacht Club Food Review on YouTube here, let’s just say it was one of the best dishes I had in the Yacht Club. I ended my meal with the Crepes Suzette.

MSC Yacht Club – Night Three Dinner Menu

Our third dinner in the Yacht Club’s Top Sail Lounge was no different than our previous nights; we couldn’t decide what to order! So, both Rocky and I each got several appetizers. I stuck with the risotto for my main as I enjoyed it so much the previous night and I finished off with the evening’s featured dessert.

msc euribia yacht club menu

To start, I had the Cream of Argenteuil Asparagus Soup from the “Deliciously Healthy” section of the menu. Side note: I find it kind of funny that the Deliciously Healthy section is placed directly under the full Desserts menu. haha

I also enjoyed the fried Asiago Cheese Fritters (definitely not from the Deliciously Healthy section). For my main, I ordered the Truffle Risotto. Again, I don’t want to give too much away, but WOW. This was fantastic; I highly recommend. Finally, for dessert I ordered the Cherries Jubilee which was flambéed by the maître d’. Extra points for both presentation and flavor. Once again, another highly recommended dish.

MSC Euribia Cruise Ship Review

Msc euribia cruise ship review: an unforgettable cruise experience, for all the wrong reasons..

MSC Euribia, the latest jewel in the MSC Cruises fleet, embarks on an ambitious journey to redefine luxury cruising with its LNG-powered innovation and the promise of an “unparalleled” Yacht Club experience. This cruise review explores the vessel’s offerings, from the allure of eco-friendliness to the reality of its luxury claims, providing an unvarnished look at what guests might encounter aboard.

Embarkation: The First Test of Luxury

Luxury begins the moment you step onto the ship, or at least it should. MSC Yacht Club markets itself as an exclusive “ship within a ship,” promising swift, seamless embarkation. However, our experience was marred by unexpected delays and a lack of the personalised attention that sets apart luxury cruising from the standard fare.

MSC Euribia Galleria - MSC Cruises

Accommodations: Deluxe Suite in the Spotlight

MSC Yacht Club Deluxe Suite aboard MSC Euribia initially impresses with its sophisticated design and spacious layout, akin to what one might find in an upscale hotel. The suite’s large panoramic windows flood the room with natural light, offering stunning ocean views, which are a standout feature, enhancing the exclusive feel of the accommodation. However, the suite’s promise of luxury begins to wane when it comes to the finer details and amenities that define a premium cruising experience.

MSC Yacht Club Suite Aboard MSC Euribia - Sail Away Magazine

Expected touches of luxury such as a welcome bottle of champagne, fresh flowers, or a fruit basket—commonplace in high-end cruising—were notably absent. This lack of personalized attention detracts from the feeling of being pampered and valued, leaving the suite feeling somewhat lacking in warmth and special attention. The minibar, while initially offering a decent selection, suffered from inconsistent restocking, especially regarding spirits or specific requests, highlighting service inconsistencies that mar the all-inclusive luxury experience.

Room service in the Deluxe Suite further illustrated the gap between expectation and reality. Promised gourmet breakfast options were replaced by a basic continental menu, lacking in the culinary flair anticipated at this level. This limitation, coupled with errors in fulfilling simple orders, underscores a disconnect between the advertised luxury offerings and the actual service provided.

The bathroom amenities also fell short of luxury standards, featuring generic toiletries instead of premium brands. This choice, while practical, misses an opportunity to elevate the guest experience through thoughtful, high-quality touches. The overall design and fixtures in the bathroom, although clean and functional, do not venture into the lavishness expected from a suite within the Yacht Club.

MSC Yacht Club Suite Bathroom Aboard MSC Euribia - Sail Away Magazine

In essence, while the Deluxe Suite aboard MSC Euribia provides a foundation of comfort and aesthetic appeal, it fails to fully deliver the luxury and meticulous attention to detail that discerning travelers anticipate from an exclusive cruise experience. This discrepancy highlights a broader challenge within the Yacht Club, raising questions about the value proposition of this supposedly more luxurious tier on MSC Euribia. The suite, with its mix of hits and misses, encapsulates the nuanced reality of the Yacht Club experience—comfortable and stylish, yet lacking in the depth of luxury and personalised service that defines true high-end cruising.

Dining Experiences: Culinary Highs and Lows In Yacht Club

Dining within the Yacht Club Restaurant on MSC Euribia, ostensibly a bastion of culinary excellence, presented a rather mixed affair that fell somewhat short of the lofty expectations associated with luxury cruise dining. The ambiance of the restaurant, while undeniably elegant and exclusive, set against the backdrop of sophisticated décor and plush seating, promised an unmatched dining experience. However, the reality of the culinary offerings and service left room for improvement. The menu, although presenting a variety of choices, seemed constrained, particularly for those with specific dietary preferences or vegetarians, offering limited alternatives that could hardly compete with the gastronomic diversity boasted by other luxury liners.

This was compounded by a service that, at times, appeared indifferent, lacking the personal touch and meticulous attention to detail that are the hallmarks of true luxury. Requests for simple modifications or dietary accommodations were met with a surprising rigidity, detracting from the bespoke dining experience one might expect. Moreover, the quality of the dishes, while satisfactory, did not consistently reach the heights of culinary excellence anticipated, leading to a dining experience that, although pleasant, did not fully encapsulate the luxury and exclusivity promised by MSC Yacht Club.

Speciality Dining: It’s Nothing Special

The speciality restaurants aboard MSC Euribia endeavour to offer a diverse culinary landscape, each themed to provide a unique dining experience distinct from the regular offerings. However, the execution within these dining venues occasionally misses the mark, leaving a somewhat mixed impression. For instance, the Hola Tacos & Cantina, which aims to capture the vibrant flavours of Mexican cuisine, was found lacking both in terms of food quality and the flexibility to accommodate dietary preferences, with dishes often falling short of the authentic zest and complexity one might expect.

Teppanyaki aboard MSC Euribia - Sail Away Magazine

Similarly, Le Grill, which seeks to provide a French-inspired steakhouse experience, was critiqued for its restrictive menu, particularly for those adhering to vegetarian or vegan diets, and an approach to service that could veer towards indifference. This was a stark contrast to the expected personalised and attentive service synonymous with speciality dining. Furthermore, while the Kaito Teppanyaki offers an engaging culinary show, mirroring the precision and flair of Japanese cuisine, the overall experience was marred by a lack of inclusivity in menu options, especially for those seeking plant-based alternatives.

These dining experiences, though ambitious in their conceptualisation, often struggle to fully deliver on the promise of exclusivity and culinary excellence, reflecting a broader challenge within the ship’s gastronomic offerings to consistently match the high standards of service and quality that discerning guests anticipate.

Amenities and Entertainment: Hit & Miss

Aboard MSC Euribia, the array of entertainment and activities on offer is designed to cater to a wide range of interests and age groups, ensuring that there’s seldom a dull moment. From the thrilling high-octane adventures in the virtual reality games and the Formula 1 Simulator, which promise heart-pounding excitement, to the more serene pleasures found in the expansive Aurea Spa, the ship offers a diverse entertainment landscape. The ship’s theatre stages a variety of shows, from dazzling musical performances to acrobatic feats, though some guests might find the narratives of these productions lacking in coherence, despite the undeniable talent of the performers.

F1 Simulator aboard MSC Euribia - Sail Away Magazine

For those seeking relaxation, the Atmosphere Pool Area serves as a sun-soaked oasis by day, transforming into a lively hub of activity and entertainment by night, complete with poolside screenings and parties. Moreover, the ship caters to families with children, offering the Children’s Club with a range of activities and the adventurous Ocean Cay Aquapark, ensuring that younger guests remain engaged throughout the journey. Yet, it’s worth noting that while the ship brims with activities, the quest for tranquillity or a sun lounger during sea days can prove competitive, reflecting the bustling nature of the vessel. Despite these minor quibbles, MSC Euribia strives to provide a comprehensive entertainment offering, aiming to ensure that every guest finds something to enrich their cruising experience.

Conclusion: The Verdict on MSC Euribia

In conclusion, MSC Euribia sets sail with ambitious promises of luxury, exclusivity, and a broad spectrum of entertainment and dining options, aiming to cater to the diverse tastes and preferences of its guests. While the ship impresses with its commitment to environmental sustainability and offers a variety of amenities and activities, the reality of the experience reveals areas where expectations may not fully align with delivery, particularly within the MSC Yacht Club. The inconsistencies in service, dining, and the execution of speciality restaurants, alongside the challenges in maintaining tranquillity amidst the vibrancy of onboard life, highlight the complexities of meeting the high standards of luxury cruising.

MSC Euribia Docked in Southampton, UK - Sail Away Magazine

Despite these challenges, the ship provides a dynamic environment, rich in opportunities for adventure, relaxation, and culinary exploration. For those drawn to the energy and multitude of features that MSC Euribia offers, there is much to enjoy. However, discerning travellers seeking the pinnacle of luxury and personalised attention may find the experience falls short of their expectations. As MSC Euribia navigates through the waters of the cruise industry, it remains a testament to the evolving nature of cruise experiences, where the journey towards perfection is an ongoing endeavour, reflective of the diverse and ever-changing desires of its passengers.

MSC EURIBIA

#SaveTheSea

MSC Euribia is named after the ancient goddess Eurybia who harnessed the winds, weather and constellations to master the seas, furthering the vision of the ship to master the deployment of state-of-the-art technology to minimise its impact on the precious marine ecosystem. The ship is also empowered with striking new features. Not only do the decks boast numerous original works of art, for the first time the hull itself is a visual masterpiece. On this unique ship where art meets innovation.

Waste Management • Majority of waste materials collected are sorted to segregate items for recycling

Energy efficiency • A range of energy-saving equipment to maximise efficiency, such as smart heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

LNG-powered ship

• The usage of Liquified Naturel Gas instead of conventional marine fuels reduces sulphur oxide (SOx) emissions by 99% and particulates, and reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx) by 85% • The significant reduction of SOx from the fuel means EGCS (scrubbers) will not be required • Liquified Natural Gas will reduce emissions of greenhouse gases by up to 20% • The hull of the ship (the part below the water) is coated with special paint to reduce the growth of organisms, reducing drag and maintaining efficiency through the water

The iconic design of MSC Euribia

In October 2021, we launched a worldwide competition in search of an artist to design an artwork for MSC Euribia hull, to symbolize MSC Cruises commitment to the sea. The unique and iconic design by artist Alex Flämig has been chosen to represent our message of dedication to the marine ecosystem: his artwork #SaveTheSea will be permanently featured on the ship’s hull. Moreover, the five finalists will have their designs displayed on board the ship in a new gallery.

Jacques Van Staden, Vice President of Food & Beverage, MSC Cruises , said: “We are always looking to anticipate the next big thing in food & beverage and with MSC Euribia , we wanted to offer venues that are unlike anything we have ever done before.

Subscribe to LATTE Cruise’s free eNewsletter to keep up to date with everything in the luxury cruise space.

“The same culinary quality and exceptional service that define our offering will remain at the heart of the experience but will be brought to new heights. We want to offer our guests something to talk about, something to marvel at and something to remember, long after their cruise has ended. Whether this be through new recipes, venues or engaging storytelling, our food & beverage offering will set your taste buds alight,” Van Staden said.

MSC Euribia will offer ten unique dining venues, including five speciality restaurants and five main dining spots, as well as 21 varied bars and lounges. Among these, new concepts to the fleet include:

Discover the Winemaker’s Journey

The immersive and digital Helios Wine Bar invites the next generation of wine lovers to discover the story behind their favourite glass of wine. Seated at state-of-the-art multi-touch tables activated by digital coasters, guests will have the opportunity to dive into the history, grape varieties, wine-making regions and more, learning everything there is to know about the drink in their hand. Providing something for everyone, the venue will offer a variety of 96 featured wines that are sure to delight all guests.

For those feeling peckish, a selection of food pairings will be on offer, at a special display, including cheeses, cured meats, finger food and nuts to complement each glass.

Throughout the cruise, the location will also play host to Masterclasses for guests to expand their knowledge further and come back home with more than just souvenirs, they’ll have gained experience as wine connoisseurs.

French Bistro meets Steakhouse

Le Grill is an elegant new speciality restaurant that offers the quality, flavour and panache that French dining is known for. The new culinary destination is the quintessential French Brasserie centred around shared dishes, such as seafood platters, caviar and chargrilled aged and dry-aged Black Angus beef from Meat by Linz. The elegant locale will propose traditional dishes such as Caesar salad, traditional onion soup, moules frites, blue lobster and fresh tagliatelle, roasted Rockefeller oysters, Dover sole Meunière and a selection of mouth-watering French desserts.

A new frontier of flavour to discover, amplified by the perfect pre-dinner bar right outside Le Grill, that gently flows between dessert, live music and fine art right next door, giving the feeling that guests have stepped onto the streets of Paris.

New Flavours in familiar locations

Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar is a mainstay speciality restaurant on MSC Cruises’ ships, offering the flavours of the Far East and featuring two teppanyaki grills to delight and entertain. Skilled chefs expertly flip seasonings and cutlery, all while preparing a delicious meal, while the adjacent sushi bar offers a more intimate experience, with a list of 40 sumptuous sushi made with the freshest and most carefully sourced ingredients. The combination of the two restaurant styles makes for a fun and interactive ambience that will leave guests with new memories from their cruise experience.

msc euribia yacht club menu

On MSC Euribia , for the first time in the fleet, Kaito will also offer a Robatayaki space for the first time, featuring the Japanese barbecue-like method of cooking combining seafood, meats and vegetables, cooked at varying speeds. Other varieties of food are also offered in this style, mostly marinated and glazed over the grill. Combined with exquisite sushi, sashimi, the space offers large combos to share with signature Futomaki Uramaki (rolls) created by expert chefs and more!

Globally inspired menus

In addition to the above speciality restaurants, MSC Euribia will also feature:

The 1,336-seat Marketplace buffet , offering a variety of delicacies from around the world, including pizza served late and mozzarella homemade directly on board Main dining restaurants Colorado River , Green Orchid and Il Campo , as well as sister restaurants, Aurora Boreale and Aurora Borealis , offering complimentary meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

For guests looking to indulge their sweet tooth Jean-Philippe Maury Chocolat & Café offers 40 kinds of chocolate products and biscuits, while the adjacent Crêpes & Gelato includes 17 flavours of ice cream and sorbet and 10 types of signature crêpes. A true feast for the senses!

The ship will also propose 21 bars and lounges, including 5 outdoor and 16 indoor, with a range of specialties, from the refined Champagne Bar to the adults-only Sky Lounge, where molecular cocktails delight over a panoramic view.

  • ZOE speaks 7 languages, answer cruise-related questions, provides info on shipboard services-activities-facilities, makes reservations and bookings.
  • The digital device features far-field microphones, top-quality speaker, quad-core processor (for fast response times), direct phone connection (through Bluetooth). The system can also upgrade its own database to answer previously unanswerable questions.
  • Passenger data (including itinerary/tour and shipboard preferences) is stored in the Cloud Storage system and used on the next scheduled voyage.
  • The device (sized ~15 cm) can be activated whenever passengers choose. A waiver must be signed to agree for their personal data to be stored.

Starting with Bellissima (2019), ZOE will be available on all newbuild MSC liners and introduced fleetwide over 2019-2024.

#SaveTheSea

MSC Euribia is named after the ancient goddess Eurybia who harnessed the winds, weather and constellations to master the seas, furthering the vision of the ship to master the deployment of state-of-the-art technology to minimise its impact on the precious marine ecosystem.
