LADY S yacht is a 93-meter (305.1 ft) luxury yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship in 2019.

She was delivered to her owner, the American billionaire, for a reported price of US $180 million.

LADY S is currently available for charter and is ranked in 69th place on the list of the largest yachts in the world.

Reymond Langton Design worked on the interior of LADY S. The London-based design duo has worked on superyachts such as AVIVA and KISMET in the past.

LADY S yacht can welcome twelve guests in seven cabins, including a spacious master suite, four VIP cabins, and two twins, making her a fantastic family-friendly yacht.

Onboard LADY S guests can enjoy features such as a basketball court, a glass-bottom pool, a steam room, an IMAX cinema, and a gym.

Each cabin features 8k flatscreen TVs and modern entertainment systems. 31 crew members are available to tend to the needs of guests and fulfill their every wish on board LADY S.

LADY S specifications

The LADY S yacht is 93 meters (305.1 ft) long with a 14.1 meter (46.3 ft) beam and a 3.9 meter (12.1 ft) draft.

Her cruising speed lies at 14 knots, and her maximum speeds go as high as 18 knots. The weight of LADY S is 2,999 tons, and she is powered by twin CAT engines.

The high-profile designer Michael Leach worked on the exterior of LADY S. The yacht has a large helipad on the top deck, while the bow is reserved for sunbathing or storage if required.

She has a jacuzzi on the aft as well as a spacious beach club that can be opened on several sides to provide a seamless transmission between indoor and outdoor living.

LADY S carries at least two Tenderworks tenders both painted red to match the color of Snyder’s NFL team .

LADY S is an all-white yacht with large tinted windows which allow guests to have complete privacy while on board.

The owner of LADY S purchased the superyacht for a price of US $180 million in 2019.

She generates a further US $10 to 15 million in running costs every year depending on usage. She is currently available for charter at a rate of US $1.47 million per week.

Burgess New Construction does it again.

The 93m Feadship  LADY S has triumphed at the 2020 World Superyacht Awards in the Displacement Motor Yacht 2,000GT - 4,999GT category. Warding off fierce competition, this accolade celebrates the fine craftsmanship, superior engineering and masterful design work from all involved.

Her build was painstakingly project managed and overseen by the Burgess New Construction (BNC) and Burgess Commercial teams over the course of five years, working hand in hand with her visionary owners from conception to delivery and through into operation. She is a direct reflection of the work of a truly masterful team of designers, builders and project managers.  

The 15 th annual World Superyacht Awards, held remotely on Friday 13 November paid tribute to the continued hard work, innovation and robustness of the superyacht industry during what has been an unprecedented year.

‘This was an incredibly challenging project,' says Rory Boyle , naval architect and project manager with Burgess New Construction . 'The client set the bar extremely high in so many respects, but it has resulted in a standout and now, award winning yacht. We would like to extend our congratulations to all involved, and especially the owners for their pioneering vision.'

Speaking from the WSA, the judges based their decision on LADY S’ 'radical shapes and complex engineering, it is, in the judges view, a very special yacht!’

'The whole yacht was built around the double height IMAX cinema which also incorporates Dolby Atmos sound, the first on any yacht. There isn't a cubic centimetre of this yacht that hasn't been considered and reconsidered, solutions applied and then optimised to make this happen.'

Other stand-out features include a 201" Porsche-designed C'Seed TV screen that rotates, folds and withdraws into the deck - another first for any yacht.

But for Rory, in common with the rest of the Burgess team, LADY S is not just an outstanding - indeed award winning - yacht. She is the product of a multitude of challenges overcome through commercial and technical knowledge by an industry leading team of experts who have spent a considerable span of their lives working towards this result.

‘This was truly an all-encompassing Burgess project’ says Peter Brown , Senior Partner, ‘BNC and the Burgess Commercial teams worked seamlessly together from the very start researching the various design and build options with the owner, to whom enormous credit is due for choosing such an adventurous and visionary path. We are incredibly proud of the result.’

Huge congratulations must go to her amazing owners, to Feadship, Michael Leach Design, Reymond Langton Design, Richard Hein, LADY S Captain, the crew and all the other members of the team involved to bring this project to life.

Built in 2019, Lady S is custom-built for world-class luxury yacht chartering, offering a wealth of spacious living areas and fabulous amenities, you'll be in for a treat from the moment you step on board. She has sensational features such as a helipad, movie theatre, spa, elevator, underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Families will particularly love Lady S thanks to her child-friendly setup. She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, four VIP cabins and two twin cabins. There are 11 beds in total, including 5 king, 4 singles and 2 pullmans. Additionally, there are 2 staff cabins aboard. A crew of thirty-three, who specialize in creating exceptional charters, are on hand to provide guests with a yacht charter vacation to remember.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained including a dancefloor where you and your guests can celebrate in style. You can recreate the full cinema experience while at sea with the included movie theatre or elsewhere, take a break from a busy itinerary in the steam room. Revive yourself after an intense workout in the sauna plus kick back and relax in the well-appointed spa. Take a plunge in the pool under the sun and head to the beach club and take advantage of indoor-outdoor living and entertaining. Maintain your fitness routine and work out in the well-equipped gym or retreat to the deck jacuzzi and soak up the scenery.

Lady S benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Access to the most exotic destinations is easy thanks to the helipad or elsewhere, stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications. Make your evenings more memorable with stunning underwater lights plus with Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 6,500 nautical miles from her 245,790 litre fuel tanks at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht and promises guests exceptional comfort levels at anchor or when underway.

Lady S knows a thing or two about fun on the water, with an extensive selection of action packed water toys and accessories for you and your guests to enjoy whilst on charter. Principle among these is a Zapata Racing Pro Series Flyboard for soaring over the water or swimming like a dolphin. In addition there are waterslides for hours of fun for all ages. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. If that isn't enough Lady S also features towable toys, waterskis, a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks and much more. When it comes to Tenders, Lady S has you covered - with four tenders, including a 10.5m/34'5" Tenderworks Limo Tender.

Lady S and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is already accepting bookings this winter for cruising in the Caribbean.

Hitler’s yacht sits off the coast of this Florida beach. Here’s why

The ostwind is one of many strange objects found in florida’s waters.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Nearly 5 miles off the coast of Miami Beach, a yacht sits at the bottom of the ocean.

This vessel — dubbed the Ostwind — has a strange history. It was once owned by Adolf Hitler.

The 80-foot-long yacht was commissioned by the infamous dictator in 1938 as an Olympic racing yacht, though it never actually competed.

According to historian Mike Miller , Hitler’s plan was to ride the yacht into England after Germany’s victory, where he would accept Winston Churchill’s surrender aboard the boat.

However, history had different plans.

After Germany’s defeat, the U.S. reportedly took control of the Ostwind, which was used as a training craft at the U.S. Naval Academy before being sold to a Nazi memorabilia collector in the 1970s, the Ocala Star-Banner reports.

The collector took the yacht to Jacksonville for repairs, but it was ultimately abandoned, and a marina owner then took possession.

Despite offers from a Nazi group to buy the yacht and turn it into a shrine, the marina owner ultimately reached out to Miami Beach officials about using the Ostwind as an artificial reef.

Eventually, the boat was taken from Jacksonville down to Miami Beach in 1989, and it was sunk off the coast to around 275 feet deep, state records indicate .

Nowadays, the only way to view the WWII-era relic is to throw on some scuba gear and take a dive.

Of course, the Ostwind isn’t the only strange object to be sunken off of Miami’s coast.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the following items have also been sunk near Miami Beach to create artificial reefs:

• Smoke stacks
• Radio towers
• A water tower
• Oil rig structures
• A railroad barge
• A minesweeper warship

DETROIT, MI — On the same weekend her husband plans to visit the state, Jill Biden will stop at three Michigan cities as part of her push to re-elect President Joe Biden, campaign officials said.

The First Lady will meet with female leaders and women in Marquette on Thursday, May 16; in Midland on Friday, May 17; and in Detroit on Saturday, May 18. Douglas Emhoff, the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris, will accompany The First Lady, Biden campaign officials said.

Their visits this week are part of the Women for Biden-Harris tour, a wing of the president’s campaign that launched in March, focusing on rallying female voters for the president’s re-election bid in November.

Campaign officials did not immediately have details about the times and addresses for the stops in Marquette, Midland and Detroit.

Campaign organizers said The First Lady and Second Gentleman planned to meet with a selected group of women in each community to “highlight the stakes for women in this election.”

Among the issues campaign officials said Jill Biden plans to discuss: Securing abortion access in the aftermath of Roe vs. Wade, overturned in part by Supreme Court justices appointed during the Donald Trump presidency; the Biden administration’s efforts to “protect and strengthen” Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid; and the president’s support of the Affordable Care Act, which the Trump administration attempted to overturn during his 4-year term in the White House.

Jill Biden’s Detroit visit is scheduled one day before President Biden is due there to serve as keynote speaker during the NAACP’s 69th Annual Fight for Freedom Fund dinner . His wife was not expected to attend the Sunday, May 19, gathering in Detroit, campaign officials said.

The Biden family’s week in Michigan comes less than a month after Jill Biden attended the First Lady Luncheon in Grand Rapids . President Biden hosted a series of campaign events in Saginaw County in mid-March .

Biden’s Republican competition for the White House, Donald Trump, also visited Michigan recently. About 6,500 people attended his rally earlier this month at an airport hangar in Saginaw County’s Tittabawassee Township.

Political science experts said they expect both candidates and their surrogates to campaign regularly in Michigan , a “swing state” considered vital to securing the presidency in November.

The last time Michigan voters favored a candidate who did not win the national vote was 20 years ago, when Democrat John Kerry earned the state’s vote but fell short nationally to Republican George W. Bush.

Marjorie Taylor Greene insults Jasmine Crockett’s ‘fake eyelashes,’ Texas Democrat calls her a ‘bleach blonde’

At a heated House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday night, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., insulted Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s appearance, accusing the Texas Democrat of having “fake eyelashes,” according to news reports.

The exchange began during a hearing on whether to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt when Greene asked if any Democrats on the panel were employing the daughter of the judge overseeing former President Trump’s New York hush money trial, according to The Hill .

Crockett questioned what that had to do with Garland.

“I don’t think you know what you’re here for,” Greene replied. “I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., moved to strike Greene’s words and make her apologize, NBC News reported. “Are your feelings hurt?” Greene replied

Greene asked why Ocasio-Cortez did not debate her, saying she did not have “enough intelligence” for a debate.

Ocasio-Cortez called Greene “baby girl” and said “it’s pretty self-evident” why she did not debate her.

Greene agreed to strike her words but refused to apologize.

Questioning a ruling Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., made about Greene’s comments, Crockett asked: “If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach blonde bad built butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”

“Uh, what now?” Comer asked. “I have no idea what you just said.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., told Crockett she was “out of control” and to “calm down.”

“Don’t tell me to calm down,” Crockett said. “If I come and talk shit about her ya’ll gonna have a problem.”

The exchange ended with the panel voting to allow Greene to continue speaking.

Texas pitcher Mac Morgan still has a perfect game intact after a nice play by Alyssa Washington, who's come on at second base for Leighann Goode. The last complete-game perfect game in the NCAA postseason for Texas came in 2005, when Cat Osterman had 17 strikeouts in a win over Mississippi State.

Texas shortstop Vivi Martinez blasts a solo shot over the centerfield wall as the Longhorns continue to add on each inning. Credit the Siena defense; the Saints have made several defensive gems in order to keep within shouting distance.

Siena's batters just cannot find anything against Texas pitcher Mac Morgan. The junior right-hander has yet to allow a base-runner and has yet to allow a ball out of the infield. A second trip through the top of the lineup didn't help Siena, either.

A sac fly by Bella Dayton scores Katie Stewart, and Texas has now scored in every inning. One concern that Texas coach Mike White may have? The Longhorns have left two runners on the bags each inning. They have yet to get that big hit..

Texas pitcher Mac Morgan, a junior right-hander, continues to dominate the Siena lineup. She has yet to allow a base-runner and has yet to allow a ball out of the infield.

Texas shortstop Vivi Martinez is now 2-for-2 after driving in Leighann Goode with a shot that scoots past the infield. The Longhorns have five hits through two innings.

So far, so good for Texas pitcher Mac Morgan. The junior right-hander has yet to allow a base-runner and already has three strikeouts. That's more than she had in any single NCAA game last season.

End 1: Texas 1, Siena 0

The Longhorns load up the bases with no outs but only manage to get one run on a walk to Reese Atwood. A brilliant double-play by third baseman Diana Parker and a timely strikeout for the third out by Alissa Eimont help the Saints avoid any more damage. Texas very aggressive with its small ball and base-running in that frame, trying to keep the pressure on Siena.

Junior Mac Morgan retires the Saints in order. Big news for the Longhorns' lineup? Leighann Goode starts at second base for Alyssa Washington, who's battling a hand injury but started the Big 12 title game against Oklahoma. Goode, a sophomore who started as a freshman, went 8-of-21 over the past two weeks while playing in place of Washington.

Mac Morgan gets the start in the circle for Texas

Junior Mac Morgan will set the start for Texas at pitcher against Siena. The right-hander from Missouri boasts a 12-1 record and a 2.14 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 78.1 innings.
