X-442 Performance Cruiser

Moon Spinner is an outstanding example of the X-442 Mk II yacht by X-Yachts of Denmark. Having recently undergone an extensive refurb and replacement of many key parts of her spec she has been lightly cruised over the last few years.

Today MoonSpinner is in perfect sail away condition - cruise the South Pacific or competitively race in blue water events

Owner's Comments

We cruised MoonSpinner over 4000 nm around the Australian coast from Perth to Tasmania to Melbourne to the Whitsundays and back. She has had major refurbishments along the way - including new rod rigging, bottom sandblasted and refinished in epoxy, renewed electrical system including Victron charger/inverter, new LED lights throughout, new Gori overdrive prop, Schenker water maker, engine enhancements, mast rewired with lights replaced in LED, new Rocna anchor/chain, gas system refurbished and recertification and the job list has been continually attended too. The sails are in good conditioned under full mainsail and jib top she's a dream on the autopilot in 17 to 21 knots of wing, With a draft of 2.3 m she is stiff, yet can pass through the Denison Canal (Tas) You sail more than you motoring this powerful yacht and she is beautiful to live on!
