128' Classic 1930

Classic sailing yacht re-built in 2005, completely rebuilt from the waterline up, this sailing yacht offers the classic look and the bragging rights that the keel was laid in 1930. The rebuild includes the hull, deck, masts, and interior. The interior was rebuilt in the Netherlands by master boat builders in 2005. The engine and electronics were rebuilt also the same years. With 4 gorgeous cabins that sleep 8 (and a library as 5th cabin that can sleep 1), she would make the perfect charter yacht. There are accommodations for up to 7 crew.

We have all the pictures and details of this re-build. The disadvantage of a classic yacht is that if it's truly all original, it belongs in a museum. This yacht has been outfitted with what looks original, but in fact is technologically much superior. For example, the masts look like they come from 1930, but in fact they are aluminum enveloped with wood veneer. If it were completely original, there would be no electric sail winches. These winches are bronze (look at picture) with the original date of 1930 when the keel was laid. To sail this yacht without winches would require at least 2 more crew.

Her impressive diesel-electric power system significantly minimises noise, vibration and fuel consumption. Powered by a hybrid propulsion system, the yacht for sale has a transatlantic range of 4,700 nautical miles at 10 knots and a top speed of 14 knots.

Asking €22,800,000 with Moravia Yachting .

Length : 44m Builder : ISA Year : 2023

UV II's exterior lines were penned by Enrico Gobbi while the custom interior was designed by Luca Dini . She accommodates up to 10 guests and sports a Jacuzzi on the main deck, close to the beach club. The broker said that "the attention to detail is evident in every corner, from the meticulously selected materials to the exquisite furnishings". The yacht for sale has a range of 3,700 nautical miles, cruising speed of 14 knots and top speed of 15.5 knots.

Baron Trenck

Length : 43.5m Builder : Eurocraft Year : 2011

Baron Trenck was delivered in 2011 to an in-house design and has since benefitted from multiple refits. Most recently in 2023, the yacht received a new teak deck and a repaint. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck with large oval windows. Up top, a 120-square-metre sundeck sports a raised Jacuzzi forward flanked by sunpads on either side, as well as sofas and shaded seating options. Her top speed is 14 knots with a cruising speed of 10 knots coming from twin 1,632hp MTU diesel engines. The broker said that this yacht for sale sports "incredibly low engine hours", as well as being commercially compliant for charter operations.

Length : 43.1m Builder : Italyachts Year : 2011

Genesis is a high-speed, sports yacht, built in GRP in Italy in 2011 and delivered as a Leopard 43 model. Designed by Andrea Bacigalupo , she features a striking golden hull and is offered for sale having completed her 10-year class survey and full engine service. Her interior, by Cristiano Gatto Design , comprises a full-beam master suite, VIP double, guest double and a twin cabin with an additional Pullman berth. Built of GRP, Charade was delivered in 2018 as the sixth hull in Benetti's Fast 125 series. The yacht's sporty exterior was designed by Stefano Righini , with contemporary interiors embellished by sharp metal accents from RWD . Large floor-to-ceiling windows fill the yacht's main living spaces with natural light. A focus on lighting throughout the design process led to an abundance of thin light panels used throughout the yacht's interior, coupled with colourful exterior lighting Onboard highlights include a plexiglass grand piano, flatscreen TV and gaming table for entertainment in the upper lounge area. The yacht features a customised steel and glass aerial stairway by RWD, with backlit stone step tops leading to the upper deck. The yacht for sale draws its power from twin MTU engines, providing a comfortable cruising speed of 17.5 knots and a top speed of 22 knots.

Norfolk Star

Length : 37m Builder : Perini Navi Year : 1996

Norfolk Star received a revamp in 2020, described by the broker as "a multi-million euro refit. This included a new main engine, two new generators, PLC system, Inmarsat VSAT dome, 505 Williams tender, Doyle sails and Reckmann rigging". The interior and exterior furnishings have been recovered, all surfaces and marble have been professionally cleaned and coated. The teak decks have also been professionally sanded. She offers a "family-friendly layout" with accommodation for six guests. The yacht for sale's interior is finished in cherry wood, and the large hull portholes give a particularly light and airy feel. From the upper saloon a generous stairway forward leads to the main saloon. There are two sofas and a more formal dining area in the main saloon which features an extendable walnut table.

Mi Amore Julia

Length : 36.6m Builder : Benetti Year : 2010

Mi Amore Julia's voluminous interior, by François Zuretti , has an open-plan layout that provides guests with a great sense of space. Accommodation is for up to 12 guests in a full-beam master suite, two double staterooms and two twins with Pullman berths. On the upper level, Mi Amore Julia boasts an inviting sky lounge with a bar and comfortable seating area. The sky lounge offers an exceptional view of the surrounding vistas or, if preferred, the blinds can be closed to enjoy movies on the large screen television home theatre system. Twin 1,550hp MTU engines power the yacht for sale to a cruising speed of 13 knots, top speed of 16 knots and range of 3,300 nautical miles.

Length : 36.9m Builder : Benetti Year : 2015

Safad has been upgraded to include a sundeck featuring a Jacuzzi with a wraparound lounging area, complemented by a bar and cooling mist jets. The extended hard top provides additional shaded exterior deck spaces. The broker pointed out that thanks to the extensive use of glass and open-hatch portholes across the vessel, Safad " welcomes fresh and naturally lit corridors". Interior design is by François Zuretti and is described as “laid-back” yet “elegant”. Accommodation is for ten guests across five cabins, comprising a main-deck owner’s suite with panoramic views. Power to the yacht for sale is from a pair of MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines that deliver a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 3,300 nautical miles.

Length : 36.6m Builder : Benetti Year : 2009

Bunty belongs to the Benetti Classic 120 series designed by Stefano Righini . The yacht has benefitted from seven refits over the past five years, with her most recent (2023) involving a jet pump, watermaker and Jacuzzi overhaul alongside a complete replacement of all interior carpets and galley vinyl. The bootstripe was also resprayed in the shade "Royal Blue". Accommodation is for up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam main deck master cabin with a private study, two doubles and two twins. Bunty' s glossy, classic interiors are by Francois Zuretti , who opted for dark-wood bulkhead panelling complementing cream sofas and armchairs. The spacious main saloon is furnished with vibrant statement furniture and features a central bar and formal dining for up to ten guests forward. This yacht for sale has a maximum speed of 15.8 knots, cruising speed of 13 knots and a range of 3,300 nautical miles when pared back to 11 knots.

Travis scott blows off cannes brawl, has boat adventure with stormi & aire, travis scott no worries after cannes brawl ... jet skis & qt with kids.

Travis Scott isn't letting the Cannes brawl ruin his quality time with his children Stormi and Aire ... as they enjoyed some fun in the sun while in the South of France.

The rapper -- dressed in a long-sleeved shirt, shorts and blue swim shoes -- hit the water Tuesday with the kids he has with his ex, Kylie Jenner ... basking in the sun while on a yacht off the coast of Saint-Tropez.

Stormi stayed on the boat with her younger bro while dad rode a jet ski around the crystal clear French Riviera water. If the photos are any indication, Travis was having the time of his life.

Travis also appeared unbothered on board the boat, as he spent time with his entourage -- which included security guards and 2 unidentified women.

This outing comes on the heels of Travis getting into a melee in Cannes.

As TMZ previously reported, Trav and Tyga's respective camps got into a knock-down, dra g-out late last week ... with the "Sicko Mode" artist exchanging blows with T-Raww's bestie (and Cher 's boyfriend), Alexander "AE" Edwards at one point.

It's been business as usual since the dramatics, however.

Travis performed at Lilly’s Club at the Fairmont Hotel in Monaco early Monday morning ... with several notable names cheering him on, including Winnie Harlow , Odell Beckham Jr. and Jason Oppenheim , among others.

In other words, Travis is putting the whole fight in his rearview. At least for now.

Star Wars creator George Lucas says at the Cannes Film Festival that there’s almost “no original thinking” in Hollywood.

Lucas was in the South of France Saturday to receive an honorary Palme d’Or, which is the Cannes Film Festival’s highest honor. Lucas’ fellow film legend Meryl Streep was also awarded an honorary Palme d’Or at the beginning of the 77th edition of the annual festival, which kicked off May 14.

Answering a question from French media outlet Brut about where the state of movies will be in 10 years, Lucas said (via IGN ) the same thing will be happening that’s happening now.

Unfortunately the now for Hollywood, Lucas added, is that the film industry has run out of ideas for new stories.

"What happens now—and it happens in streaming probably more than features, but features, it's the same thing—nobody knows what to do,” Lucas told Brut . “The stories they're telling are just old movies. 'Let's do a sequel, let's do another version of this movie.' And it's not just in movies, but in almost everything, there's almost no original thinking.”

Lucas wasn’t the first film great to make pointed comments about Hollywood at the Cannes Film Festival. Earlier in the annual event, Lucas’ longtime friend and mentor Francis Ford Coppola noted how Hollywood was facing a dire future .

“I fear that the film industry has become more of a matter of people being hired to meet their debt obligations because the studios are in great, great debt,” Coppola during a Cannes press conference. “And the job is not so much to make good movies, the job is to make sure they pay their debt obligations.”

Lucas Received His Palme d’Or From Francis Ford Coppola

The timing couldn’t have been any better for George Lucas to be in the South of France, since Francis Ford Coppola was on hand to present his fellow filmmaker his Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.

Coppola traveled to Cannes this year for the world premiere of his sci-fi epic Megalopolis along with several of the film’s stars , including Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, Giancarlo Esposito, Laurence Fishburne and Aubrey Plaza.

In his remarks before awarding Lucas the Palme d’Or, Coppola reflected on their decades-old relationship as friends and collaborators, which began in 1968. According to Variety , Lucas first worked with Coppola on the musical comedy classic Finian’s Rainbow , starring Fred Astaire.

Recalling the beginning of their working relationship, Coppola, 85, said had a very important suggestion that he made to Lucas, who recently turned 80, at the beginning of the production.

“Pleased to have someone in my own generation, I suggested he come every day, but only on one condition: That he come up with a brilliant suggestion every day, which he consistently did,” Coppola said during his introduction of Lucas (via Variety ). “And with that began an association that has lasted a lifetime. And he went on and on, making film history, story history, business history and now history in France.”

Naturally, Coppola’s introduction included a Star Wars story, where he recalled how Lucas told him about how the owners of the Flash Gordon comic strip turned down the young filmmaker’s pitch to make it a movie.

“He looked at me and he said, ‘Well, I’ll make my own movie, I’ll call it Star Battles or Star Wars or something.’” Coppola recalled (via Variety ). “And so he did, and in the process risked everything he had to make it.”

The 2024 Cannes Festival came to a close on Saturday.

Kevin Costner Has ‘Knocked on Every Boat in Cannes’ to Help Finance Third ‘Horizon’ Movie: ‘Come Get Your Checkbook Out. Let’s Talk Money!’

Kevin Costner got candid about partly self-financing his new movie, “ Horizon: An American Saga ,” at a Cannes Film Festival press conference on Monday.

Costner put much of his own fortune into making the $100 million-plus film, including mortgaging his ranch. He directs and stars in the film, which he also produced and co-wrote.

When asked about his struggle to finance the film, Costner said, “I don’t know why it was so hard.”

“I’ve knocked on every boat in Cannes to help me,” Costner said. “‘Oh come, we’ll have a picture.’ No, come get your checkbook out. Let’s talk money!”

Costner was also asked his view on racism in America. “I’m conscious of race. I live in a place called Compton, Calif. I funded a movie called ‘Black or White,'” he said. “It was my version of a level of racism that exists in our country.”

Regarding the representation of Native people in “Horizon” and why he didn’t tell the story from their perspective, Costner said, “The movie is a journey. It’s not a plot movie, and the Native Americans are represented. I don’t feel the need to try to balance the story. I just try to make it as real as I can.” 

At its premiere on Sunday night, “Horizon” earned a seven-minute standing ovation as Costner grew visibly emotional.

The film, a two-part look at the expansion of the American west, is told from the prospective of the cattle ranchers, farmers and soldiers building a future for themselves in the region, as well as the Natives who lived there first.

Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager applauded Kelly Rowland for defending herself from a Cannes security guard.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna,” the co-hosts talked with E! News host Justin Sylvester about the incident when Kotb admitted they were “very upset” over the entire ordeal.

“What is she protecting them [from]? I don’t understand what she’s trying to do. Protecting them from what? Or what’s she doing?” she asked about the security guard’s intentions.

Bush Hager, 42, responded that they do “not know” the reasons behind the security guard’s “weird” actions but regardless Kelly Rowland is their “girl.”

“Yes. It felt like people were piling on her and we know that she handles herself with grace and class always,” Kotb, 59, said of the former Destiny’s Child member.

Kotb and Bush Hager were talking about the viral video that showed Rowland, 43, pointing at and allegedly yelling at a female security guard while walking up the red carpet stairs at the Cannes Film Festival last week.

The singer was allegedly telling her to “not talk to [her] like that.”

The “Motivation” singer later addressed the incident, telling AP News , “That woman knows what happened. I know what happened. I have a boundary, and I stand by those boundaries.”

“There were other women that attended that carpet who did not quite look like me and they didn’t get scolded, or pushed off, or told to get off,” she continued.

The same security guard was later filmed getting into similar spats with Dominican actress Massiel Taveras and K-pop star Yoona.

Kotb and Bush Hager coming to Rowland’s defense comes after Page Six broke the news that she walked off the “Today” show when she was supposed to co-host with the former in February.

At the time, sources told Page Six that she was slated to fill in for Bush Hager when she left because she was “not happy” with the dressing room.

Shortly after the news broke, Kotb assured viewers there was no bad blood between them and Rowland is welcome to co-host the show anytime she’d like.

“She can share my dressing room. We’ll be in it together! But anyway, I just want to say we love her. We’ve loved her on this show for many, many years,” Kotb said in a February episode.

Horizon: An American Saga filmmaker Kevin Costner recently told Deadline that he’s on schedule to shell out $98 million for the first three movies in his Western series, and a fourth film will take him over the $100 million threshold.

On Monday, the day after Horizon premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, the two-time Oscar winner expounded on gambling on his own vision with his own property at a Cannes press conference.

“I don’t know why it’s so hard to get people to believe in the movie I wanted to make. … I don’t think anybody’s else’s movie is better than mine. I made it for people.”

“It’s a pattern that happens with me — with Dances With Wolves, Bull Durham, Field of Dreams, Open Range — the things I want to make are harder to make,” he said.

“My problem is that I don’t fall out of love with something that’s good,” said the filmmaker-actor about the projects he keeps in lengthy development.

“I’d like to come back here with my third movie,” said Costner about a future return to Cannes with Horizon Chapter 3.

Costner has already shot three days of part 3. “I’m trying to make the third one. I knocked on every boat in Cannes to help me. The guys say, ‘C’mon, we’ll get a picture.’ I said. ‘No, get your checkbook out.’ “

He quipped to the press room that everyone should stand “in front of one boat” and not “let the riche people off.”

He also joked about the whole notion of hitting the red carpet at Cannes, “I use to get no money to do this, then I got paid a lot of money to do this, now I need to pay my own money to do this.”

Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1  is due to hit theaters June 28 via Warner Bros, with the second coming on its heels August 16. Costner  told Deadline recently that  Chapter 3  began production  this month.

The three-hour movie received an 11-minute, 40-second standing ovation last night at its Cannes world premiere.

Costner teased that Chapter 4 of Horizon will see a big presence by Native Americans in the story.
