Koh Hong is another gem of Krabi! The secret lagoon inside of the island can be accessed only by dinghy on tides above 1 meter. But outside you’ll be stunned no less: the beach is simply fantastic there! It is also an excellent overnight stop where you can stay on anchor or take a mooring.

The beauty of Krabi coastline was first discovered by cruising yachties and backpackers in the 80s. Now there are several 5-star resorts and many excellent restaurants.

Right across from Koh Hong there is a 5-star Phulay Bay Resort by Ritz Carlton . Cruising further south you will end up in Ao Nang Bay , the busiest area of Krabi with lots of resorts, bungalows, restaurants, and shops. It is the access to the main road to Krabi Town which makes Ao Nang so important.

Immediately south of Ao Nang there is Railay Peninsula famous for the beauty of its beaches. There are 4 of them, all white-sand and within a walking distance from each other. Their spectacular limestone cliffs and magical caves attract rock climbers and explorers from all over the world. The cliffs also cut off the access to the peninsula by road. So the boat is the only way to get there.

Similarly the waters around Krabi are adorned with spectacular limestone formations such as the famous Chicken Island, so called as it resembles a chickens head! The same formations create many quiet bays including one that can only be reached by dinghy or longtail boat, a narrow entrance expands into a totally enclosed bay surrounded by 400ft cliffs. Krabi Marina is well suited to head off to Phang Nga Bay, Phi Phi Islands and further South to Koh Lanta, Trang and deserted Islands such as Koh Phetra. This was an amazing trip! We did the four island hopper and sunset tour. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the beaches. Our guide spoke fluent English. They provided lunch, fruit for a snack, and a sandwich for dinner. Our guide also brought us smirking and informed us what we were seeing/ names of the sea life.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The boat was clean, well equipped and safe with a great captain and mate. Our guide could not have been nicer and took us to the best spots in the marine park for snorkelling where we saw many many beautiful species of fish. Lunch was served on one of the islands and the food was delicious. We would definitely recommend this company for private boat trips. Thank you Jorge and team!

Only one to 2 hours away from Phuket, and located on the east coast of Southern Thailand, it is less crowded than Phuket and has a slower way of life than Koh Samui. Despite these traits, Krabi is packed with uninhabited tropical islands with perfectly white sand and azure blue waters that surround it, making it a perfect destination for yacht charters.

Program A – Half Day Morning Program with Power Catamaran (08.00 – 12.00 )

Price : Adult 2,200.- // Children (4-11) 1,800.-

08.00 We will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to the Private Pier.

08.45 Check-in at Krabi Marina Port.

09.00 Departs from Krabi Marina Port Yachtmaster. Sightseeing through Krabi Downtown Canal, see the lovely Mangrove Forest where you will also see a big monument to the black crab,and Kharnarb Nam Mountain ( this is the “Symbol of Krabi”) Take in the panoramic views of Krabi and soft music will be played whilst cruising.

Visit Chicken island, Poda island, Tub island, Mo island which are 3 of the island treasures of Krabi province, before stopping at Railay Beach. You will get to have a swim & snorkeling during this time.

– The boat departs from Railay Beach and you Cruise along the Krabi Coast line. Enjoy astonishing view of sunset over Andaman Sea on the cruise sundeck. The sundeck is the top level of the catamaran where you can take amazing photo’s and drink refreshments. A delicious lunch of Barbeque beef and prawn, chicken satay, will be freshly cooked on board and ready to be served. Alcohol drinks are available on the bar area on the cruise second floor (must be paid for separately)

12.30 It’s a perfect time to serve Thai desserts and seasonal fruits whilst enjoying of Krabi City.

13.00 Arrive at Krabi Marina Port and transfer back to your hotel.

Program B – Half Day Sunset Program with Power Catamaran (14.00 – 19.00 น.)

14.00 We will pick you up from your hotel lobby and take you to the Private Pier.

14.45 Check-in at Krabi Marina Port.

15.00 Departs from Krabi Marina Port Yachtmaster. The windy Russian autumn weather might be a little bit tricky for sailing, but it doesn’t stop brave yachtsmen from all over the world from flocking to Russian capital in the beginning of September when the Moscow Yacht Show commences. The main Russian Yacht exhibition gathers professional and amateur yacht lovers together under the wing of The Royal Yacht Club.

This year it took place for a fourth time already. The exhibition is considered the principal event on the sporting and social calendar. The Moscow Yacht Show 2010 united in one area three of the largest Russian yachts distributors: Ultramarine, Nordmarine and Premium Yachts.

A wide range of yachts were on display for a week. An exhibition showcased yachts both from Russian manufacturers and world famous brands: Azimut, Princess, Ferretti, Pershing, Riviera, Doral, Linssen, etc.

It was a real feast for seafarers as visitors of the show had a unique chance not only to take a look at the newest superyachts before they hit the market, but also to evaluate their driving advantages during the test drive. The show provided an excellent opportunity for yacht enthusiasts to choose and buy a new boat for the next season.

The event started with the grandiose gala evening. It included grand dinner, the concert and professional awards ceremony for achievements in Russian yachting industry. The guests also enjoyed the annual regatta.

Special guest Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Benetti Group president, opened the evening.

Next year organizers assured guests they would bring more yachts, the scale of which will even make oligarch Roman Abramovich envious. Sounds very promising indeed.
