Cizgi Yacht to launch superyacht E&E next week

Turkish yard Cizgi Yacht will next week launch its 42 metre motor yacht E&E , which offers the range of an expedition yacht with the luxury of prodigious volume.

‘The boat is very high, more than 17 metres above the waterline. She has to be very light at the top and heavy at the bottom in order to give the maximum stability and comfort to the boat,’ says Sansal Ilgun, owner’s representative and project co-ordinator for E&E .

To ensure stability, Vripack designed the yacht's exteriors to be constructed from four carefully calculated materials. The wheelhouse and navigation mast are made of a light composite, the upper deck is aluminium, the hull is steel and her very bottom is iron. This bottom-up construction has kept the 487 gross tonne, five-deck yacht extremely stable during tank tests conducted in Holland.

Attention was also paid to minimising vibration, employing the services of a world expert on the subject and using high-quality insulation materials. The result is a yacht that allows those onboard to cruise and explore in a comfortable and spacious environment.

‘This is a cruising yacht really, if you like you can make 4,500 miles without any replenishment of fuel, but it is a superyacht with little vibration or noise,’ says Ilgun.

Comfort is also amply achieved in the yacht’s interiors by Art-Line, which marry warm woods, hammered metals and a variety of other materials in a technically complex but aesthetically flawless design.

With a 9.2 metre beam, E&E accommodates 10 guests in one master, two double and two twin cabins, and her crew section – sleeping 13 – complies with new IMO, MCA, Solas and Marshall Islands commercial yacht codes.

She is powered by twin 750hp Caterpillar engines and has a cruising speed of 11 knots and a maximum speed of 14 knots.

The yacht will be launched in Istanbul on 9 August and her debut will be at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

E&E is listed for sale by Burgess and Oceanstyle.

E&E – Designed for living, built to last

If ever there was a yacht identifiable as a Vripack on first sighting, it’s E&E. Tailor-made for adventures on the high seas, the 42m expedition yacht built by Turkish shipyard Cizgi Yat in 2011 screams style and substance. Two al fresco dining and seating areas nod at socialising. The sundeck, with its on-deck Jacuzzi and panoramic views, is a crowd pleaser. It’s supported by a wet bar, shaded nooks and oversized sunpads. The hydraulic swim stairs bring the convenience factor, either descending into the water or serving as a dive board.

Steel hulled with an aluminium superstructure, E&E was designed with charter in mind. iPod docks, high-quality surround sound speakers create an onboard ambience tailored to guests. The yacht is even equipped with video conferencing technology for those who wish to remain plugged in even when away.

A full-to-bursting toy box contains every conceivable thrill, from SeaDoos and Waverunners to wakeboards and a raft of inflatables. The boat’s interior storage even has room enough for two stylish tenders. Whether underway or anchored for the nights, an advanced stabilisation system reduces the side-to-side roll of the yacht for optimum guest comfort.

Powered by twin 737 horsepower engines, E&E taps out at 14 knots with a cruising speed of 11 knots. Her bold exterior lines turn heads, but the design is more than skin deep. A popular charter platform that’s ideal for pushing beyond the standard cruising grounds, E&E is a robust and reliable explorer ready for whatever adventure waits around the corner, from the tropics to the poles.

The Expedition Superyacht E &E (ex Jasmin II) is a 42 m explorer yacht delivered in 2011 by Cizgi Yachts, Turkey. The brand new motor yacht E & E is on display at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show and will be available for charter during the Caribbean winter.

The explorer yacht E&E was designed by well-known Vripack International Naval Architects with naval architecture by Endaze Engineering. Her luxurious interior was designed by the renowned Art Line Studios interior design company.

Art-Line interiors have released the following information regarding yacht E & E’s interior design at the Monaco Yacht Show.

“We were very pleased with the opportunity to design the interior for E&E and we are even more pleased with the result.

To design the interior for this yacht with an unusual lay-out and with a different use of deck space has been a great challenge.

To us design must represent an ideal balance between function and emotion. Together with a great team involved we were able to achieve this ideal.

Again we are able to add to our portfolio a yacht with a new and different concept Therefore we say thanks to the owner and all those people who work so hard to build this beautiful yacht.

To connect the 2 guest decks, we designed a central located staircase which will give almost a complete view thru-out both decks.

This staircase divided by a glass bridges gives on the main deck access to the owner’s suite forward and aft it will bring you to the salon with the dining area.

The glass bridge on the upper deck gives access to a panorama salon forward and aft the guest suites with the possibility to go outdoor directly from the suite.

It was our task to design an interior for private use as well for charter purpose in an elegant cosy contemporary style.

For the veneers in general we used an Indian Apple all in a high gloss finish and combined with off white tones in leathers, paint and onyx with here and there some gold accents.

In all the suites we used nice accent colours for all the fabrics which are followed by the headboards as well the mosaics in the bathrooms in the same matching colours

Onboard E has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Principle among these is a Flyboard, experience flying in and out of the water with the latest in high adrenaline watersport. If you or a member of your party loves diving, then you'll appreciate the dive compressor and diving equipment. In addition there are two SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and see a variety of aquatic sea life. If that isn't enough E also features wakeboards, bikes and paddleboards.
