Maxing out at 12 people per cruise, Calypso Cruises is best for small groups and intimate outings. Cruises last 3-5+ hours depending on which package you select.

I’ve gone on the Calypso snorkel cruise several times and it’s always one of the highlights. Captain Nick takes you to beautiful coral reefs around the island where you can see tropical fish and incredible shipwrecks in the crystal clear waters off the Barbados coastline. Plus, the food is amazing! The snorkel tour includes a premium bar (with some dangerously good signature cocktails) and a Bajan lunch buffet, complete with macaroni pie and other local favorites!

We did this one about 3 times already and it never gets old. You can bring your own snorkeling gear if you wish. After snorkeling you have the option to climb the falls or walk the stairs next to the falls. On the way back it’s party time. They offer rum punch Red Stripe Beer or rum and coke with some Jamaican patties. It’s from noon until about 5 so plan accordingly.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip. The great thing is that it includes many activities in one, a cruise on a boat, snorkeling, Dunns River Falls and a party on the way back. The professionalism of the boat captain, DJ and other staff was remarkable.

Very nice trip. Pick up at hotel was right on time. Very funny and cheery driver (Glen). Catamaran was clean and spacious.

Great entertainment on board! Dunns river falls is amazing. Great guides. Amazing scenery. Super fun trip. Would recommend for sure.

What a great trip. They keep you sober till after the hike up Dunn’s Falls but you will be happy for that, it’s a bit treacherous in a fun way.

We had such a blast taking the catamaran from our resort in Sandals, Ochi Beach to Dunns River! The tour guides were fun and made the rules clear! I love how they made everyone feel involved and important 🙂

Well organised and great fun on the part boat o Dunn’s River Falls, everyone involved from drivers, guides etc all made it a fun and exciting trip, with knowledge, humour, feeling safe and having such a great day, highly recommended, the best way to see the falls. Thank you everyone you were fantastic, don’t hesitate just book it, you won’t regret it.

The staff was great, and my group had a ball….good food & music. I would highly recommend Cool Runnings. The staff was attentive and interactive, and we saw a beautiful sunset, what a way to enjoy an evening in Jamaica!

Learn A New Story About George Washington At The George Washington House And Museum

Alexander Hamilton wasn't America's only "Founding Father" to have spent time in the Caribbean - so did George Washington! At the impressionable age of 19, Washington spent 7 weeks in Barbados accompanying his ailing half-brother, Lawrence.

Lawrence's plantation house, known then as Bush Hill House, is now called the George Washington House and Museum and is preserved to tell the story of Washington's discovery and exploration of the only place he ever lived outside the continental United States.

Hidden under the house, there are also a series of tunnels, only recently rediscovered in 2011. Visitors can take a tour of these labyrinthine corridors, learning how the tunnels may have been used by Garrison troops.
