For the average person, celebrating growth after a major life change might involve getting a sports car with their hard-earned savings. However, if you're a billionaire, you might commemorate it by spending hundreds of millions on a yacht! Getting a yacht has become a status symbol as its picturization in popular culture has shaped the image. Among the ultra-wealthy, superyachts stand as the pinnacle of status symbols, providing exclusive settings for leisure and networking. Tech moguls like Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison have embraced this trend, each owning superyachts that are essentially floating palaces. Here's having a look at their prized possession.

1. Mark Zuckerberg

Earlier this year, there were widespread rumors within the yachting community suggesting that Mark Zuckerberg had acquired Launchpad, a 118-meter superyacht initially intended for a sanctioned Russian businessman. The superyacht was bought around the techie's birthday. In March, the vessel embarked on her maiden voyage from Gibraltar to St. Maarten, eventually docking in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While the exact price tag has not been disclosed, sources suggest it reaches into the nine-figure range. Though not many pictures are available, it is supposedly spacious, as Business Insider reported.

2. Jeffrey Bezos

Last year, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' $500 million megayacht, the 127-meter Koru, garnered attention as it navigated the Mediterranean during its inaugural summer at sea, accompanied by its 75-meter support vessel, Abeona as reported by Dutch Yachting. This sizable sailing yacht, known for its unique design, hosted Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez's prominent friends. Even in its pre-completion stage, Koru stirred up headlines, provoking debate among certain members of the Dutch public. Concerns arose when it was proposed that a historic bridge in Rotterdam might need dismantling to accommodate the passage of the Oceanco vessel. The shipyard devised alternative strategies to prevent any potential incidents involving egg-throwing.

3. Eric Schmidt

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt caused a stir last year when he initially agreed to purchase the Alfa Nero, previously owned by a sanctioned Russian oligarch, for $67 million in an auction conducted by Antigua and Barbuda. However, he withdrew from the deal due to legal complications regarding the true owner. Schmidt subsequently opted for the purchase of Kismet instead. This 95-meter-long Lürssen-built vessel, formerly belonging to Jacksonville Jaguar's billionaire owner Shahid Khan, was quietly acquired and renamed Whisper. Accommodating up to 12 guests and a crew of 28, Whisper boasts a master deck featuring a private jacuzzi, full-service spa, lap pool, movie theater, and outdoor fireplace per Yacht Charter Fleet.

4. Barry Diller

Barry Diller, chairman of digital media company IAC, and his wife, fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg, co-own the megayacht Eos, adorned with a figurehead sculpture by Anh Duong. As one of the largest private sailing yachts globally, this three-masted Lürssen schooner spans 93 meters in length. Following a three-year construction period, Eos was delivered to Diller in 2009, and details about her interior and features have remained largely undisclosed. The influential couple often hosts celebrities on their yacht Eos, which usually sails around the Mediterranean in the summer and celebrates New Year's Eve in St. Barts per Business Insider.

5. Larry Ellison

Over the years, Oracle founder Larry Ellison has possessed a series of superyachts, including the Katana, the Ronin, and the Rising Sun — the latter he later sold to fellow billionaire David Geffen. In 2011, Ellison acquired his current vessel, Musashi, for a reported $160 million from custom-yacht giant Feadship. Taking inspiration from the renowned samurai warrior, Musashi, an 88-meter-long yacht, showcases a fusion of Japanese and Art Deco design influences per Business Insider. Its amenities include an elevator, swimming pool, beauty salon, gym, and basketball court.

6. Laurene Powell Jobs

Laurene Powell Jobs, investor, and wife of Steve Jobs, inherited the nearly completed 78-meter yacht named Venus upon the passing of the Apple co-founder in 2011. Having previously enjoyed vacations on Larry Ellison's yachts, Jobs desired a yacht of his own. Collaborating with renowned French architect and designer Philippe Starck, he designed Venus, valued at $130 million upon completion. "Venus comes from the philosophy of minimum. The elegance of the minimum, approaching dematerialization," Starck said of her design. According to Vanity Fair, Jobs and Starck initiated their collaboration in 2007, engaging in monthly meetings over four years. The result was Venus, delivered in 2012 according to Jobs' specifications: featuring six identical cabins, meticulously crafted to maintain areas of complete silence, and equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

7. Charles Simonyi

Charles Simonyi, an early Microsoft employee, has acquired two megayachts from the German shipyard Lürssen: the 90-meter Norn and the 71-meter Skat. Delivered in 2023, Norn boasts luxurious features, including an outdoor cinema and a pool floor that transforms into a dazzling dance floor. It shares a militaristic style with Skat, which Simonyi sold in 2021. Skat derives its name from the Danish word for treasure and was launched in 2002 with a listing price of 56.5 million euros. "The yacht is to be home away from my home in Seattle, and its style should match the style of the house, adapted for the practicalities of the sea," Simonyi said as reported by Boat International.

8. Sergey Brin

Google co-founder Sergey Brin has assembled a collection of yachts, boats, and recreational watercraft known as the "Fly Fleet." The flagship of Brin's fleet is the sleek Dragonfly, named after a once-secret Google project. This 73-meter-long creation from the Australian shipyard Silver Yachts boasts luxurious features like a movie theater and a helipad. It can accommodate up to 18 guests and 16 crew members, as reported by SuperYacht Times. Among Brin's collection is also the superyacht Butterfly, measuring a modest 38 meters in length. Often seen in the Bay Area, the crewmembers of Butterfly enjoy leisure activities like kitesurfing and providing swimming lessons to local children during their downtime.

EMINENCE Yacht – World-class $90M Superyacht

EMINENCE yacht is a 79-meter charter yacht built in 2008 and was refitted recently in 2018. She can accommodate 12 guests by using her spacious eight cabins and can be attended to by up to 24 qualified crew members.

Designing the interior of the fantastic EMINENCE yacht is Reymond Langton Design , a design studio renowned for its luxurious designs inside super expensive superyachts.

Based in London, they started their operations back in 2001, founded by Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton.

They are internationally known for their design capabilities and have been involved in several superyacht interior designs, such as the Aviva yacht, a 68-meter superyacht.

Another is the Titan yacht, built back in 2010 at Abeking & Rasmussen is a 78-meter superyacht made out of an aluminum superstructure and a steel hull.

Inside the EMINENCE yacht is a plethora of amenities. Guests can spend their holiday time aboard the superyacht’s movie theatre, sauna room, spa room, total gym, exercise equipment, swimming pool, tender garage, and underwater lights.

She also has full air-conditioning, wifi, and anchor stabilizers to keep guests steady in the harsh seas. She also offers vast deck areas and a stunning dining area.

She can easily accommodate many guests at a time. She can welcome up to 12 guests by utilizing her spacious cabin rooms with a specification of 1 mater, two VIPs, and four doubles. Up to 24 qualified crew members can also host these guests.

Specifications

EMINENCE yacht is built with an aluminum superstructure and a steel hull. She has a length of 257 feet or 78.44 meters, a beam of 40.8 feet or 12.4 meters, and a draft of 10.6 feet or 3.2 meters.

Powering this 2,054 monster are Caterpillar engines, enabling this 90 million dollar superyacht to cruise at speeds of 14 knots, and can go up to a top speed of 16 knots.

She can carry up to 35,000 liters of fresh water, and her massive fuel tanks that can carry 160,000 liters enable her to cover up to 6,000 nautical miles.

The Cuisine

Working with a talented sous chef, Chef Tom Nichols assures every dining experience on board Eminence is delivered with love. Australian-born with Italian and Greek heritage, Chef Nichols grew up surrounded by Mediterranean flavours in his grandmother's kitchen. After working with some of the best chefs in Sydney and Brisbane, it was the flavours of the East that captured his imagination, inspiring him to specialise in Japanese, Szechuan and Thai cuisine.

"I like to use traditional recipes and keep up with current food trends to create something modern, healthy and authentic," he says. "Anything Asian is my speciality, but I also specialise in rustic home-style dishes which are always made with love. A slow-cooked spring lamb shoulder with tuum dressing is one of my favourites to serve!"

Eminence is a yacht set up to savour every culinary experience. The sun deck is recommended for sunset cocktails, while the main deck aft is perfect for buffet-style breakfasts. Lunches and dinners are best enjoyed on the bridge deck aft or in the sophisticated setting of the main dining room.

Abeking & Rasmussen 's 78m/257ft motor yacht EMINENCE   is now a superyacht for charter. 

Delivered in 2008 and last refitted in 2018, EMINENCE will be hosting her first private yacht charters around the Mediterranean this summer.

As the winter season rolls in, she will be relocating across the Atlantic to offer Caribbean yacht charters around the tropical islands of the Bahamas and the BVI's.

EMINENCE features elegant interior styling from the esteemed Reymond Langton Design. Her social areas are invitingly laid-out to maximise space and light, with plenty of rich textures and plush fabrics throughout.

The yacht is primed for those looking to relax indoors, but her refined colour palette and lavish styling ensures she is equally well-suited to those looking to entertain while enjoying a luxury yacht charter.

The motor yacht offers accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven well-furnished cabins, which includes an owner's suite with a chic dressing table and marble-clad en suite.

Among her other on-board highlights, she also plays host to a sumptuous cinema and extensive spa facilities including a massage room and sauna.

Stepping outside, guests will find a selection of well-appointed deck areas for soaking up the sun.

There is alfresco dining on the upper deck aft, and a variety of convivial seating set-ups on the lower and main decks aft, each of them primed for an evening drink watching the sun set.

The sundeck is sure to be the social hub while on a crewed yacht charter. The space has been thoughtfully appointed to ensure all-day entertainment, with a large bar and intimate sofa seating located aft, and a raised jacuzzi and a spread of sunpads positioned forward.

A Summary of Motor Yacht EMINENCE

The motor yacht EMINENCE is a 78 metre 257 (foot) significant steel luxury yacht which was produced by Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) and her design is by Abeking & Rasmussen and Reymond Langton Design. Accommodating 14 guests and 19 crew members, motor yacht EMINENCE was formerly named (Project Excellence Iv). The graceful motor yacht has been envisaged by the naval architecture of Abeking & Rasmussen and Reymond Langton Design. Reymond Langton Design acted on the interior design.

Motor Yacht EMINENCE is the largest yacht to date launched from the Abeking & Rasmussen yard in Germany. The EMINENCE build project was originally initiated in 2005 by Herb Chambers, an American car dealer and keen yachtsman, and the boat was originally started named EXCELLENCE IV. Only months before her launched in 2007, she very quietly changed hands and became known as EMINENCE. Some of her unique features include a movie cinema, staterooms on the main deck and a short draft which allows her to enjoy shallow anchorages.

Building & Naval Architecture relating to Luxury Yacht EMINENCE

Abeking & Rasmussen was the naval architect firm involved in the professional nautical composition for EMINENCE. Her interior design was completed by Reymond Langton Design. Abeking & Rasmussen and Reymond Langton Design is also associated with the yacht wider design collaboration for this yacht. In 2008 she was actually launched with celebration in Lemwerder and post sea trials and finishing touches was afterwards handed over to the owner who commissioned her. Abeking & Rasmussen Yachts (Schiffs-Und Yachtwerft ) completed their new build motor yacht in Germany. Her hull was constructed with steel. The motor yacht superstructure is fabricated for the most part from aluminium. With a beam of 12.4 metres or 40.7 feet EMINENCE has open internal space. She has a deep draught of 3.2m (10.5ft).

Installed with twin CATERPILLAR diesel engines, EMINENCE can reach a maximum speed of 16.5 knots. EMINENCE is propelled by twin screw propellers. She also has an efficient range of 6000 nautical miles whilst sailing at her cruise speed of 14 knots. Her total HP is 3999 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2984. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she was built with Quantum Zero Speed.

EMINENCE – a project with friends

The Eminence was blessed with good fortune from the very beginning. Her owner and Abeking & Rasmussen had worked successfully on a previous project together and so brought in a wealth of experience and knowledge in planning, development and construction. Only this time everything was to be bigger, more comfortable, more attractive and more innovative. These high expectations were able to be fulfilled to such an extent thanks to the amicable collaboration on both sides. This can be seen in the yacht’s sheer size, the streamlined exterior design, rounded off with a mast in the shape of a whale’s tail.

The interior, best summed up in the words of its designer Andrew Langton, is defined by a ‘flair for opulence’. It mirrors the yacht’s exclusivity and finesse. In this way, through a creative team effort a sort of a new, modern form of Art Deco has emerged as seen in its luxuriant, playful but also focused and intense elements, such as the eclectic mix of materials like ebony, steel and leather. Big solutions for big surfaces: the 6 spacious and exceptional VIP cabins, the owner’s ‘front view bedroom’ overlooking the forward deck or the 5 decks with an enormous whirlpool on the top most. Eminence is a custom motor yacht launched in 2008 by Abeking & Rasmussen in Lemwerder, Germany.

The 154’2” (47m) Mengi Yay SERENISSIMA I is now for sale with Yacht Broker Ed Dickinson. The luxury motor yacht is asking €35,800,000 and is due for delivery in August 2024.

Mengi Yay, one of Turkey’s leading construction yards, has introduced SERENISSIMA I, a bespoke tri-deck masterpiece designed in collaboration with naval architect Van Oossanen and acclaimed design studio Nuvolari Lenard. She has been carefully designed around the owner’s requirements, boasting an upper private owner’s deck with its own Jacuzzi and alfresco lounge space. Her sophisticated gentleman’s lounge complete with a cinema room, walk-in wine cellar and drop-down balcony offers an additional layer of luxury to her onboard experience.

The traditional aft main salon and dining room seamlessly flow into the midship guest lobby. She accommodates up to 10 guests across five lavish cabins. The master cabin is situated on the bridge deck aft, and boasts a walk-in wardrobe and a lavish en-suite bathroom with sea-view windows and direct access to a private deck with a small dining area, sunpads and a Jacuzzi. The lower deck features four additional guest cabins, including twin en-suite cabins forward and aft cabins that can be configured as doubles or opened to create a full-beam VIP suite. An elevator connects all interior decks for easy movement throughout.

The primary alfresco entertainment space, the sundeck, is adorned with chic glass panels midships, sheltering the aft area. 2017 Lagoon 630 – Balance – Miami, Florida

The PC60’s twin-hull design also means exceptional stability, which allows you to have loose chairs, even on the flybridge, without worrying. There’s no need for stabilizer fins or gyros; the hull form gives a solid ride, and it’s comfortable in a seaway,” Yachting previously reported.  

With a 24-foot, 6-inch beam and volume that rivals that of a 100-foot monohull motoryacht, Horizon Power Catamarans’ PC60 gives owners home-size living and entertainment spaces in a 60-foot platform. Indigo is a 2013 PC60 that was built by and is currently listed with The Powercat Co, a subsidiary of Horizon Power Catamarans, for $1.965 million. The power cat has a Bahamas-friendly sub-5-foot draft, three well-appointed staterooms and a 1,500-nautical-mile range.

2023 Aquila 54PC – Water Born – Pompano Beach, Florida

Looking for a power catamaran made for extended cruising and entertaining in stylish comfort? Water Born, a 2023 Aquila 54PC, could check off the boxes. The asking price is $2.795 million.

“The 54′s interior has square footage that’s roughly the same amount of space as a 68- to 70-foot monohull. It’s also a smartly designed space: The cockpit has a table for alfresco dining, as well as three stools at a bar that connects to the galley inside via an opening window and door. Thanks to the boat’s 25-foot beam, the main deck effectively turns into one vast social area. Add the salon’s seating, 360-degree banks of windows and 6-foot-9-inch headroom, and the area feels more like a waterfront condo than a boat,” Yachting previously reported .

HMY Yacht Sales stated, “This Aquila 54′ has just under 50 hours on her optional 550 Cummins motors. You won’t find another like her because she is the only Aquila 54 in North America with this engine option! Commissioned by an experienced owner operator, every option on this 54′ Aquila was carefully chosen to maximize the versatility of this already fantastic platform. Everything from the upgraded additional fuel tanks to the spare propellers and shafts and electric glendinning, the owner has spared no expense.”

2023 Leopard 53 PC – Princess Oxana – Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Princess Oxana , a Leopard53 PC , is listed with Galati Yacht Sales at $1.8 million. The 2023 power catamaran has just 200 hours on its Yanmar diesels. The power cat also has a three-stateroom, three-head layout with accommodations to sleep six guests for extended cruising.

Designed for watersports fun, Princess Oxana has a hydraulic swim platform that doubles as the yacht’s tender stowage and lifts to deck height. Stepping into the 53-footer’s cockpit, there are two seating options with a bench seat with L-shaped backrest to starboard and an L-shaped sofa and fixed table to port. Adding a few loose chairs around the table creates alfresco dining six.

2021 Aquila 54 – Liquid – St. Petersburg, Florida

For cruisers looking for a power catamaran ready for voyaging adventures, there is Liquid, a 2021 Aquila 54. This power cat is capable of entertaining 30 guests and sleeping 10 (or more). Liquid has a reported top-end speed of 22 knots, a cruising speed of 15.5 knots and a range of almost 1,000 nautical miles at 7.8 knots. Liquid just came on the market and is asking just under $2.17 million.

2008 Leopard 47PC – Whensday – Stuart, Florida

Whensday , a 2008 Leopard 47 Powercat listed with HMY Yacht Sales for $465,000, is designed by naval architects Morrelli and Melvin and built by South African boatbuilders Robertson and Caine, a company known for its expertise in power-cat construction.

The Leopard 47 Powercat integrates an open-plan layout with exceptional interior volume, offering a comfortable cruising platform catamaran that combines spacious accommodations with admirable performance. Leopards are perennially popular vessels with private owners as well as charter enthusiasts.

Some of the yacht’s recent new-equipment upgrades include reconditioned Cummins diesels, an Onan generator, solar panels, a watermaker and new mechanical, electrical and navigation equipment. Run off the grid using solar power, watermaker and a 260-gallon freshwater tank, while cruising up to 900 nautical miles. Owners and guests will voyage those miles in substantial comfort too, thanks to the powercat’s four-stateroom layout, all with queen berths. There are also four heads.

Axcell Yachts 650 – Awol Shaka – West Palm Beach, Florida

AWOL SHAKA , an Axcell Yachts 650 power catamaran , is listed with Worth Avenue Yachts with a new asking price of $2.19 million, which represents about a $1 million reduction from the original asking price.

The 67-foot powercat’s hull was constructed in 2010, however, the yacht was only officially commissioned in 2020, and it underwent an extensive refit in 2022.

The refit included an interior update, outdoor furniture being reupholstered, decks resurfaced, a rebuilt head system, repainted engine and lazzarette bays, upgraded Garmin electronics, and updated tender garage–that accommodates 15-footer–and more.

James Simons left behind a legacy in mathematics, finance and philanthropy, as well as a massive personal fortune and a yacht, when he passed away at age 86 last week.

The billionaire, who founded the extremely successful hedge fund Renaissance Technologies, built up a personal fortune worth $31.4 billion over the course of his lifetime and used billions of that money for charity, according to Forbes . His charitable organization, the Simons Foundation that he co-founded with wife Marilyn, provides funding for science, education, autism and other areas.

At one point in the 2000s, Simons reportedly used some of his wealth to acquire a yacht for himself. Outlets like the BBC and CNN have identified him over the years as the owner of the Feadship-built Archimedes.

The yacht, built in 2008, is about 222 feet long and can sail at speeds of up to 16 knots, per BOAT International. In 2018, it received a refit. 

The Plymouth Marine Laboratory said in mid-February that Simons and his wife were "support[ing] marine research in some of the most remote and least studied parts of the ocean" with the Archimedes. Scientists affixed a light-measuring instrument to the vessel to help with their research, according to the organization.

In March, the yacht received a Science & Discovery award at the YCM Explorer Awards in Monaco for its contributions to ocean exploration and research, a Feadship press release said.

FOX Business reached out to the Simons Foundation for comment regarding the yacht.

Simons and his wife together have dolled out charitable contributions totaling around $6 billion, Forbes reported. 

He left his role as chairman of Renaissance Technologies , which operates the Medallion Fund, back in 2021, over a decade after his retirement as the hedge fund’s CEO.

The yacht-spotter's guide to the F1 Monaco Grand Prix

Every year, Monaco’s Grand Prix pulls in some of the fleet’s finest superyachts for a weekend of adrenaline-fuelled F1 action and A-lister events in the heart of the principality. Yachts moored stern to the circuit have a premium vantage point over the cars tearing around the track, while superyachts at anchor can enjoy all the Formula One buzz with the added benefit of privacy and seclusion.

Renaissance

Length : 111.9m Builder : Freire

Renaissance is the largest private yacht built in Spain and one of the world's most expensive charter yachts . Which is quite the feat for Freire, a commercial shipyard that has built only one private yacht in the past. With 7,200GT to play with, her list of amenities include a sushi bar, a dedicated hair and beauty salon, a ballet bar with a mirror for stretching and two cinemas – one indoor, one outdoor. The owner's deck is described as "palatial" and comes with its own a media room, a lounge with bar and dining and a private terrace with a Jacuzzi for six.

Length : 52.1m Builder : Sanlorenzo

Spotted pulling into port with a Bugatti on the aft, Seven Sins is the perfect yacht for soaking up the Formula One action. She is part of Sanlorenzo's hugely successful 52Steel series, with features including a glass-bottomed pool on the aft that floods the beach club below with light. Her palatial interior design offers plenty of space for kicking back and watching the races in a more relaxed setting and her sharp Officina Italiana Design exterior is sure to attract attention in Monaco harbour. 

Length : 90m Builder : Benetti

Lionheart was launched in 2016 as the shipyard's largest build to date, though she was surpassed by the 107-metre Mar (ex Lana ) four years later. She was the third yacht to be ordered from Benetti by the same owner, Sir Philip Green. While her curvy exterior and private balconies will be visible to those visiting Port Hercule this weekend, interiors have always been shrouded in secrecy. It is known that  Stefano Natucci  collaborated with Benetti on the exterior design and Green & Mingarelli Design  is responsible for the interior design.

Fountainhead

Length : 87.8m   Builder : Feadship

Created with family use in mind, Fountainhead features a recreation room and library that can be converted into cabins to supplement the six existing guest cabins and owner's suite. She was designed by De Voogt Naval Architects and Sinot Yacht Design , though "a signature blend of art, antiques and aesthetics" by Belgian artist Axel Vervoordt are also displayed throughout.  Leisure highlights include a fully-equipped gym with health club, a contra-flow swimming pool and a tender garage that houses wave runners, kayaks, surfboard and diving equipment, among others. The superyacht is named after the famous novel by Ayn Rand.

Coral Ocean

Length : 72.6m Builder : Lürssen

A World Superyacht Award winner, Coral Ocean earned the judges' commendation following a sensitive, multi-million refit that converted the heritage vessel into a successful charter platform. All deck spaces were upgraded, including a reimagined sundeck that now houses a glass-sided spa pool, sunbathing and observation deck and a central deckhouse with a television lounge, dining area and bar. Coral Ocean was one of the largest launches of 1994 and her secrecy for the first two decades of her life solidified her as an icon for the German shipyard. She is owned by Australian garbage waste disposal giant Ian Malouf. 

Length : 72m   Builder : Lürssen

Delivered in 2006, Titania  (ex Apoise ) was put up for auction by her owner in 2010 and was snapped up for €33.75 million – roughly half the estimated value – by Phones4U tycoon John Caudwell. He then went on to refit, lengthen and rename the superyacht, which he discusses in an exclusive interview with BOAT International . Designed by Espen Øino and Francois Zuretti , the Lürssen was the star yacht in season six of The Crown and is a popular charter yacht. No wonder, as she sports a beach club that can be converted into a nightclub, an onboard masseuse and beautician and an impressive array of watersports – including a waterpark and a 12.7-metre slide.

Length : 70m Builder : Royal Denship

Force Blue first hit the water in 2002 as the 63.3-metre Big Roi , a trawler-style expedition yacht that has since been refitted to varying degrees. The most recent work was done at Lusben in 2022 and involved a seven-metre stern extension to allow for a large, wrap-around swim platform. The main deck was extended in the process as well. Design highlights include a black-tiled spa (with heated massage table), a cinema, a barbecue and dining area that turns into a disco and a dining room that doubles as a conference space. An elevator serves all decks.

Length : 67.5m Builder : Icon Yachts

The flagship of the Dutch shipyard, Loon (ex Icon ) is now anchored in Port Hercule where she is likely to cause another social media sensation . She was delivered in 2010 to a design by RWD , with clean, contemporary interiors by Studio Linse . A raised main deck pool is one of her many highlights with two panels of glass that filter natural light into the beach club below. A bar, gym, massage room and sauna are also found at this level. Loon was sold to a new owner in April 2023, after which she joined the charter fleet with IYC .

Length : 66m   Builder : Oceanco

AHS has undergone numerous name changes (she was sold and renamed mostly recently in January ) but started life as Dilbar in 2005. A successful charter yacht, she can be easily distinguished in port by her classic canoe stern. An interior by the late Alberto Pinto provides accommodation across eight cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite with its own lounge and adjoining private office. Other highlights include an outdoor cinema, a beamy sundeck with 19,000-litre pool and a helipad that transforms into a sun lounge.

Length : 49.9m Builder : Zepter

The Croatian yard's first superyacht offering, JoyMe is usually berthed in Cap d’Ail but has been sighted in Monaco for the past two Grands Prix. She’s one of the most recognisable yachts at the event, with her custom red and white exterior and unusual eye motif – said to be the eyes of the commissioning owner’s daughter. Leisure highlights include a Pop Art-inspired interior by  Marijana Radovic , a sundeck with a 3.5-metre Jacuzzi and a lower deck arranged with a gym, Finnish sauna and Hammam spa with sea views. Accommodation is across five cabins, including the "VIP deck" owner's cabin which has a walk-in bathroom, lounge and private sunbathing platform on the bow.

Length : 45.2m Builder : Royal Hakvoort

The most recent delivery on the list, Milele is one of this year's World Superyacht Award winners . According to the judges, she stood out thanks to her "incredible build quality” and surprising spaces on board. Most notable of these is the innovative foredeck garage, which stores a submarine and crane, and has a full entertainment suite with a large television screen built into its hatch. She was designed inside and out by Omega Architects with an efficient hull design by Van Oossanen Naval Architects .
