The Best Yacht To Buy In GTA Online
There is a small fleet of yachts to buy in GTA Online but one is more worth your money than the others.
By Joey Carr on July 5, 2023 at 12:02PM PDT
There is perhaps not a clearer sign of wealth in GTA Online than owning a yacht. As in real life, a yacht is the ultimate flex of luxury in the world of Los Santos. When Rockstar Games introduced the Galaxy Super Yacht fleet, they released three different yachts for players to purchase. All three of these gigantic boats are well worth your hard-earned GTA cash, as they all boast amenities as far as the eye can see. The main differences in the yachts lie in their price and how many features they have. However, as you'll see, those features don't drift too far apart from yacht to yacht.
Since the yachts start at the sky-high price of $6 million, players have asked if going for the most expensive yacht is actually worth it or if they can get by with the least expensive. It's a similar question that players have asked in regards to cars, jets, and any other property available in the online world of Los Santos. In this guide, we'll be going over all three of the yachts in GTA Online and determining which is the best to buy based on all of the factors.

Now Playing: Everything We Want in Grand Theft Auto 6
Kicking us off is The Orion, the least expensive yacht in GTA Online. Of course, the term "least expensive" is used lightly here, as The Orion still costs a whopping $6 million in GTA cash. The Orion, and the other two yachts, are equipped with a 210-foot body and the same basic outside appearance as the two more expensive Galaxy Super Yachts in the game. There's a sun deck on top for sunbathing or throwing parties but no hot tub, unfortunately. Also on the exterior is one single helipad and storage for two vehicles, the Shitzu Tropic and Speedophile Seashark jetski. On the interior, The Orion is equipped with three luxurious guest rooms. Like the rest of the yachts, you can't actually drive The Orion. What you can do is pay your captain to park it somewhere and have it ready for you when you want to come aboard at a certain location. You can also complete six A Superyacht Life missions to reduce your overall operating costs and make some money with your yacht in the process.
The one aspect of The Orion that's truly lacking is that it doesn't spawn with a helicopter and only has one helipad. While not a huge problem, the other two yachts on this list have these aspects over The Orion. If you're in the market for a yacht and can spend $6 million, then you can likely also spend another million for the next yacht on this list. This could make The Orion obsolete unless you're truly strapped for cash.
For one million more than The Orion ($7 million), you can own The Pisces. Compared to The Orion, The Pisces spawns with a helicopter and has two helipads, a hot tub, and space for five vehicles. Those vehicles are the Buckingham Swift (helicopter), Pegassi Speeder, Nagasaki Dinghy, and two Speedophile Seashark jetskis. Aside from the Speeder, the yacht will spawn with all of the aforementioned vehicles, letting you and some friends get to shore or to another location with ease. Having the extra helipad is also nice to either have a friend land on the yacht or to keep a spare in case something happens to your first.
$7 million is considered the sweet spot for the line of Galaxy Super Yachts. You'll see why when we go over the last yacht on this list.
The Aquarius
The big daddy of them all, the Aquarius is the last and most expensive yacht on this list. The final Galaxy Super Yacht of the fleet costs an eye-gouging $8 million. This makes it the most expensive piece of property you can buy in GTA Online by a country mile. The Aquarius has everything The Pisces has, including the two helipads and hot tub, but has room for seven vehicles instead of five. However, those two extra vehicles are two additional Seashark jetskis, which is really only good for if you have half a dozen friends on your yacht at the same time.
The main point of The Aquarius in GTA Online is to flex on other players. Its price point is relatively unwarranted due to the lack of amenities compared to The Pisces. However, if you're a collector of the most luxurious items in Los Santos, The Aquarius needs to be your next purchase.
The verdict
As you might have expected from the descriptions of each yacht, The Pisces is what we consider to be the best Galaxy Super Yacht in GTA Online. It features a great price point and is a huge step up from The Orion at one million dollars more. The Aquarius simply doesn't offer enough compared to The Pisces to warrant it being the best bang for your buck. Unless you truly want to show off your wealth, going with The Pisces is the best option in GTA Online.

In Grand Theft Auto Online — and I guess, the real world — super yachts are the ultimate symbol of wealth. I mean, have you seen Below Deck ? It just sounds like yachting is what rich people do. The thing is, yachting isn’t worthless in the real world. Sure, it’s extravagant, but it has a function. It takes you places! Unfortunately for the richest of the rich in GTA Online, that’s not the case. Super yachts in GTA Online don’t actually do anything.
Players can’t move the yacht themselves; instead, they can pay a captain $25,000 to do it for them. (Actually this is starting to sound a lot more realistic for the super rich.) Essentially, it’s an item people buy simply to flaunt their wealth, because yachts start at $6 million and only go up from there.
(There are other pricey items in GTA Online, like high-end apartments. But these have a purpose: You can make money from them by doing heists.)
But last week, developer Rockstar Games announced a new summer update, the Los Santos Summer Special . It added a bunch of stuff, including new super yacht missions. Finally, someone gave GTA Online’s super rich something to do! Wealthy GTA Online players were excited — finally, they could profit off their extravagance.
At least I enjoyed clicking the buy button from gtaonline
The Los Santos Summer Special went live on Tuesday, adding since new co-op missions to GTA Online. The missions can be played solo or with a co-op group, and you do get money from doing them. But ... it’s not a lot of money. Not even enough to pay off 1/10 the cheapest super yacht. (Rockstar is running a double rewards special until Aug. 19, however, but it still won’t make a dent in the super yacht price.)
The good news is, you will unlock the Yacht Captain outfit by completing the six new missions. Now you can flaunt your wealth on land: I’m rich enough to afford a yacht! (Or, at least, you’re friends with someone who does.) Sure, the yacht still doesn’t really do anything. But you do have a lot of internet money!
The next level of puzzles.

Should You Buy a Yacht in GTA Online? A Friendly, In-Depth Guide
Hey friend! Have you ever dreamed of owning a massive luxury yacht in GTA Online? I totally get the appeal – cruising the high seas in ultimate style and comfort sounds amazing.
But yachts also cost millions of in-game dollars, so it‘s a huge investment. Are they actually worth buying for gameplay? Or are they an overpriced status symbol?
In this in-depth guide, I‘ll walk you through everything you need to know to decide if purchasing a yacht is the right move for you. I‘ve played GTA Online for years, so I can provide lots of insight from personal experience as well!
An Overview of GTA Online Yachts: Models, Prices, and Features
Let‘s start with the basics – here are the yacht models available and what they include:
- The Orion – $6,000,000 base price, 82 feet long
- The Pisces – $7,000,000 base price, 116 feet long
- The Aquarius – $8,000,000 base price, 197 feet long
The base models range from 82 to 197 feet and come equipped with essential features like a helipad, jacuzzi, bedroom, and 10 car garage.
You can also customize them with optional upgrades:
- Hot Tub – $150,000
- Helicopter and Boat – $1,150,000
- Weapon Locker – $370,000
- Anti-Aircraft Defenses – $575,000
Once purchased, you can access your yacht instantly through the Interaction Menu. It acts as a mobile apartment and can be sailed freely around the ocean.
Pretty cool right? But that $6 to $8 million dollar price tag is no joke. Next I‘ll go over some of the best perks yacht ownership offers.
5 Awesome Things You Can Do with a GTA Online Yacht
From partying in luxury to defending against raiders, here are some of the best activities having a yacht unlocks:
1. Relax in Style – With a swanky interior including a bar, bedroom, and hot tub, you can kick back in serious comfort. Live the high life!
2. Seamless Transportation – Summon a helicopter or boat next to your yacht instantly for convenient travel across the map.
3. Mobile Business Center – Use the yacht‘s computer to run CEO and VIP jobs from anywhere in the ocean.
4. Piracy Prevention – Fend off attackers in this intense VIP job and earn GTA$ and RP for protecting your yacht.
5. Exclusive Missions – Special new missions open up like recovering celebrity sex tapes and stealing rare cars.
Owning a yacht lets you experience the luxury lifestyle to the fullest. But are the costs actually justified? Let‘s do a deep dive into the pros and cons.
The Pros and Cons of Buying a GTA Online Yacht
While owning a yacht seems glamorous, it has drawbacks too. Here I‘ll analyze the biggest potential benefits and downsides.
Pros of Buying a GTA Online Yacht
Flex Your Wealth – Yachts are the ultimate status symbol and show you‘ve truly made it!
Unique Gameplay – Special Piracy Prevention and Life missions open up.
Party Spot – Host crew events or hot tub parties on the spacious deck.
Prestige and Excitement – Feel like a VIP cruising the seas in luxury.
Safe Haven – Anchor safely away from the chaos of land.
Seamless Transportation – Instant helicopter and boat access.
Mobile Business Center – Launch CEO work remotely at sea.
Cons of Buying a GTA Online Yacht
Extremely Expensive – Multi-million dollar purchase and maintenance fees.
Limited Practical Use – Doesn‘t directly generate much money or RP.
Long-Term Investment – No way to resell at full price later.
Ongoing Costs – Paying daily for crew, fuel, cleaning, etc.
High Visibility – Easily spotted by griefers.
Customization Extra – Add-ons like hot tubs cost hundreds of thousands more.
As you can see, yachts clearly have some very tempting perks. But the costs and limited practical use are downsides to consider too.
How Much Does a Yacht Really Cost in GTA Online?
Let‘s break down the expenses in detail:
Base Purchase Price – $6 – $8 million
Customizations & Upgrades – Around $1 – $2 million
Daily Crew & Fuel Costs – Estimated at $1,000+ per GTA day
Insurance – 10% of base price if destroyed
Damage Repair – Around $25,000 for restoration at docks
Depreciation – Will slowly lose resale value over time
It‘s not just the huge initial purchase. You need to factor in pricy ongoing costs too.
To help put it in perspective, I crunched the numbers on estimated yearly costs for a high-end Aquarius yacht:
As you can see, the total first year cost could exceed $12 million! That‘s a ton of virtual cash.
Next, let‘s explore ways to try and offset some of those huge costs through strategic gameplay.
How to Potentially Make Money from Your GTA Yacht
Unfortunately yachts are notoriously bad as direct money makers in GTA Online. But by utilizing them strategically, you may be able to recover some costs over time:
Complete lucrative Yacht Life missions – These can pay $150k+ each upon completion.
Use it as a CEO office – Run profitable CEO jobs like Headhunter while sailing.
Host parties – Other players may pay you GTA$ to party on your yacht‘s deck and hot tub.
Provide transportation services – Charge for helicopter or boat rides if other players want easy transport.
Take advantage of owner rebates – You can get up to $1 million back for completing certain missions.
Avoid separate property fees – Use it as your spawn point to dodge apt/garage fees.
As you can see, while yachts won‘t directly generate much income, through some creative hustling you may be able to mitigate costs by a few million.
Should You Buy a Yacht? My Recommendation
Well friend, we‘ve covered a ton of in-depth details about the costs, benefits, and financials of owning a GTA Online yacht.
So is buying one actually worth it?
Here is my honest take for most players:
If showing off wealth and living large are your top priorities , then yes, go for it! A yacht is the ultimate flex and provides some really fun gameplay moments. The excitement of buying one is huge.
But strictly looking at ROI , a yacht probably isn‘t worth the huge investment. The specialized missions are cool, but won‘t come close to making back your millions.
My advice is to buy one only once you‘ve built up a massive bankroll of $30M+ and have already purchased more practical assets like businesses. A yacht can nicely complement a developed criminal empire.
Ultimately it‘s about your personal goals and playstyle. If living the exotic luxury superyacht lifestyle sounds like your dream – don‘t let anything stop you!
I hope this detailed guide helps you make the best decision on whether buying a yacht is right for your own journey in GTA Online. Let me know if you have any other questions!

GTA Online Yacht Missions And Payouts
GTA Online offers a wide variety of mission chains and quests, providing players with the opportunity to earn substantial rewards. Among these missions are the Yacht missions, which are part of the "A Superyacht Life series" and become available after purchasing a Yacht.
To assist you in completing these missions and obtaining the associated rewards, we have provided a comprehensive breakdown below. We will outline the specifics of each Yacht mission, explain the payout structure, and reveal the rewards you can expect upon completion.
GTA Online - All Yacht Missions
As part of the Los Santos Summer Special update in Grand Theft Auto Online, players can engage in a series of six missions called " A Superyacht Life. " These missions are assigned by Brendan Darcy, the captain of the player's Galaxy Super Yacht, and can be played by a group of 1 to 4 players.
Below are the descriptions of all six of these Yacht missions in GTA Online:
Mission 1: Overboard
Captain Darcy alerts the player that the yacht's jetskis and important documents, which establish both the Captain and the player as permanent residents of international waters, have been stolen. The player is instructed to proceed to the Vespucci Canals, where the joyriders were last spotted. Eliminating the thieves in this area can be challenging, but it offers decent cover and strategic shooting positions.
The Captain reveals that the culprits are members of the Puerto Del Sol yacht club, prompting the player to seek revenge. The next objective is to head to the yacht club and sink the 10 boats docked there. Time is of the essence, as a boat may attempt to escape. Sink them all, and the mission will be completed.
Mission 2: Salvage
Brendan Darcy informs the player about a distress call from a sunken supply ship nearby. They are directed to a dredge barge to collect the sunken cargo around the wrecked Olifantus ship.
After retrieving the cargo, the player returns to find the yacht invaded by the Kkangpae. They eliminate the hijackers and receive a call from Brendan, who reveals he and the bartender have been taken hostage. The player rescues them while fending off attackers and returns to the yacht.
Mission 3: All Hands
Brendan alerts the player about a problematic business deal at the Pacific Country Club. They must steal firefighting planes from LSIA to extinguish cars set on fire by club members. Guards at the airport trigger a 2-star wanted level until the Tula is acquired.
After refueling in the air and receiving a threatening text message, the player heads to the country club. They extinguish burning vehicles while fending off Kkangpae attacks. There's a 5-minute time limit for each task. Brendan mentions additional fires at the Pipeline Inn. Returning the Tula to the yacht concludes the mission. Failing restarts at the LSIA hangar without enemies.
Mission 4: Icebreaker
Brendan Darcy devises a revenge plan against the Kkangpae for kidnapping him. The player destroys air-conditioning units at the Fridgit Cold Storage warehouse and steals the prepared product.
The player must deliver the goods while fending off Kkangpae attacks. The mission ends when the player reaches the buyer in an alley behind the Hedera Hotel in Del Perro.
Mission 5: Bon Voyage
The mission starts with a stormy setting as the yacht's systems fail. Enemies attack from different directions, including onboard, in Dinghies, and from Buzzards. Brendan reveals that the attackers are the Kkangpae, the gang that previously kidnapped him.
The player defends the yacht through three waves of enemies. Brendan restores power and requests the player to eliminate remaining foes on foot and in boats. The mission ends after completing this task.
Mission 5: D-Day
Brendan informs the player about the boss of a money laundering outfit staying on a heavily defended yacht. He suggests using a Kraken submersible to sneak past their defenses. The sub is located near a barge, close to the rival yacht's defensive zone patrolled by Dinghies.
While operating the sub, the player must stay low to avoid detection and navigate through underwater mines. A detection meter shows the player's visibility to the yacht's defenses, while a depth meter indicates their underwater level. Staying at a safe depth of around 275-350ft is crucial. The surrounding area is patrolled by boats, so the player must remain submerged.
Approaching the yacht's vicinity, the player resurfaces and boards the ship, engaging multiple enemies onboard. After eliminating all enemies, the boss tries to escape in a helicopter. The player must give chase, with the helicopter being escorted by two others. Dinghies also join the pursuit. The escort helicopters have gunners armed with RPGs. The target helicopter's health is displayed on-screen. Once the helicopter is destroyed and the boss is killed, Brendan suggests collecting the bounty on the boss's head, concluding the mission.
GTA Online - Yacht Missions Payouts
Currently, we don't have an exact number for the payout of each of these missions, since they depend on other factors such as the rank you play at and the amount of time the mission takes. However, we can say that the payout will be around the $38,000 mark (adjusting for the 25% increase thanks to the recent update), as after they are all complete, players will earn the Captain's Outfit as a souvenir.
So there you have it, a complete breakdown of all the Yacht missions on GTA Online as well as the Payouts you'll receive for completing them. Be sure to check back here soon, as we'll update this listing with the most relevant information as it's made available.

The Galaxy Super Yacht is a yacht introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online in the GTA Online: Executives and Other Criminals update for the PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , and PC .
In A Superyacht Life - Bon Voyage , it is stated that "Galaxy" would provide some compensation for unexpected engine failure. It is not certain whether "Galaxy" is the company name of the ship manufacturer, or just simply a short-form for "Galaxy Super Yacht" as a full company name.

Description [ ]
The yacht is a full-sized yacht/cruiser fitted with a range of luxury features, including one or two helipads. The vessels feature a large bridge and 3 individual decks, while medium and high-end yachts also include a jacuzzi and a luxury helicopter.
There are a few options which can be chosen by calling the ship's captain using the in game phone, and can be used to gain access to the yacht when it is anchored at a location. The options include:
- Calling for the helicopter (if applicable) which spawns on the yacht to be delivered to a location near the anchor point. Costs $1,000.
- Calling for a boat to be delivered to the shoreline near the anchor point. This will always be the Dinghy . Costs $750.
- Requesting your personal vehicle to be delivered to the shoreline so that you can travel from the yacht to the shore and have a car waiting for you. Free of charge.
Yachts can be purchased from $ 6,000,000 to $8,000,000 in GTA Online .
The Yacht cannot be controlled and does not move by itself, but the player can request the captain to move it to another location for $25,000. This fee can be reduced to $10,000 by completing the A Superyacht Life missions.
The ship comes with 2 NPC crew members — the captain and a bartender. The player can select who can access the yacht and its vehicles. Like apartments, the yacht can be set as a spawn point. Essentially, the yacht acts as a floating apartment, although it does not count toward the total properties owned by the player.
When entering the location of the yacht or nearing it, the following format of text will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen: [model of yacht] [custom name of yacht] [player's ID]
- For example:
Aquarius Yacht Titanic Player999
Air defenses [ ]
The owner can activate the vessel's weapons defense system through the interaction menu and specify who can pass through, but while the system is active, players cannot access their personal weapons or fire their weapons from armed vehicles in a 150-meter radius of the yacht. The defense system can attack player and NPC aircraft and those with parachutes by emitting nearby explosions within the 250 meter radius, and also giving a warning to intruders to leave the air zone when approaching in the radius of 400 meters. It can even destroy armored aircraft (including the Avenger ) in one direct hit. The air defenses can also defend against incoming rockets from aircraft and launchers.
Purchase [ ]
Daily Fees [ ]
Owning a Galaxy Super Yacht incurs a fee of $500 per day. Before The Contract update, the fee was $1,000 per day.
The names of the three models are references to constellations and mythology.
The Orion [ ]
The Orion Yacht . ( Rear quarter view )
The Orion is the cheapest yacht purchasable, for $ 6,000,000. Comes with:
- 210ft yacht with timeless exterior styling.
- Three beautifully appointed guest rooms with en-suites.
- Expansive sun deck for entertaining.
- Shitzu Tropic
- Speedophile Seashark
The Pisces [ ]
The Pisces Yacht . ( Rear quarter view )
The Pisces is the middle-class yacht purchasable, for $7,000,000. Comes with:
- Two Helipads
- Buckingham Swift Deluxe
- Pegassi Speeder
- Nagasaki Dinghy
- A pair of Speedophile Seasharks
The Aquarius [ ]
The Aquarius Yacht . ( Rear quarter view )
The Aquarius is the most expensive yacht purchasable, for $8,000,000. Shares the main features of The Pisces but exchanges the small portholes below the accessible decks for larger rectangular windows. Comes with:
- Buckingham SuperVolito Carbon
- Lampadati Toro
- Four Speedophile Seasharks
Modifications [ ]
Similar to the customized apartments , several modifications can be applied to allow the player to create their own yacht. The following apply to all models of the Yacht.
Fittings [ ]
- Chrome Fittings ( Included; $100,000 to downgrade )
- Gold Fittings (+$750,000)
Lighting [ ]
- Presidential Green (Included; $300,000 to downgrade)
- Presidential Blue (+$315,000)
- Presidential Rose (+$330,000)
- Presidential Gold (+$350,000)
- Vivacious Green (+$500,000)
- Vivacious Blue (+$525,000)
- Vivacious Rose (+$550,000)
- Vivacious Gold (+$600,000)
Essentially, the main difference between the two types of lighting options is that the Vivacious puts light bars on the exterior of the yacht as well as lighting the interior, whereas the Presidential option only lights the interior.
Each of the color options features an additional accent color, this is most visible when looking at the demonstration photos of the lighting when selecting the options when you purchase the yacht. If the player selects the Vivacious Gold lighting for example, the top decks are lit up purple, and there are other places along the yacht which this accent color will feature. Accent colors feature on both Presidential and Vivacious options, however the latter is more vibrant. The following accent colors correspond to the lighting choices:
- Green base color - pale orange accent
- Blue base color - pale green accent

GTA Online - Yacht Gameplay and Tour Executives and Other Criminals DLC
- It costs $500,000 to downgrade to the Orion and $1,000,000 to downgrade to the Pisces.
- Darcy states in A Superyacht Life - Overboard that paper documentation kept onboard identifies the ship and crew as permanent residents of international waters. Without it, taxes would have to be paid to the IRS.
- Multiple yachts can be in the same area, except they are spread out. There are 12 spots around the map which a yacht can be moved to, and there is a limit of 3 yachts at one time in the same location. This means that there are enough spaces in a single 30 player free roam lobby for every player to have their yacht on the map at the same time.
- In addition, it will also cost $250,000 to rename their yacht, and $25,000 to fit a different flag onto their yacht.
- Despite the vessel's size, there doesn't appear to be any staff present other than the Bartender and the Captain, Brendan Darcy . However, there are apparently further occupants according to the Bartender, as she will sometimes comment to the player "The crew are so well trained, you wouldn't even know they were here". In A Superyacht Life - Overboard, Darcy mentions that he will send out crew members to retrieve the jetskis stolen from the ship.
- All models feature inaccessible areas, as evidenced by windows not connected to rooms in the cabin. This could be where the crew mentioned above reside. Additionally, there seems to be a large engine room as seen on the Dignity , as these Yacht models share the same removable access hatch by the stern.
- Vehicles that come with the yacht purchase will respawn on/with the yacht a few minutes after being destroyed.
- In addition, should one deign to sit in one of the designated seats in the Jacuzzi, their health would quickly regenerate to full.
- The yacht hot tubs also have a location where the player can stand and lean against the side of the tub, which is unique to the yacht hot tubs.
- The ash trays that appear around the Jacuzzi have " Buckingham Luxor " branding on them, likely because they were reused from the ash trays present in the Luxor Deluxe .
- The roof and electronic masts vary between yacht models. The Orion has a mostly flat roof and a tall, vertical mast; the Pisces has short exhaust risers, more anti-aircraft launch tubes, and a sloped mast; and the Aquarius has tall exhaust risers, even more anti-aircraft launch tubes and a short mast attached to an arch.
- Despite the number of anti-aircraft launch tubes between yacht models, they all have equal range, firepower, and reloading times.
Example of the generic "true" name that can appear on a yacht when the owner leaves the session.
- When there's someone on a yacht and the owner leaves the session, the yacht will have the name "true" or "false" shown on the back. No-one will be able to use the vehicles that belong to the yacht. When no one is looking at the yacht, it will despawn. In some cases, the defense system will come online, with Brendan warning the player to leave the yacht's vicinity.
- When a player moves their yacht, any other players on it will also be moved on the yacht to its new location.
- If the player moves their yacht, vehicles left on it that do not belong get left behind. If another player is in the area, the vehicle will simply fall into the sea.
- The chair on the right side of the Yacht's bar has unique animations where the player sitting on it will do actions such as head banging, tapping their feet, resting their arm on the chair's head and clapping their hands.
- There is an error with the Hot Tub where the player's clothes will not get visibly wet when entering it, however, water can still be seen falling off of them after they have left it.
- Despite not being near land, strippers from the Vanilla Unicorn can still be called to the Yacht. The phone options menu will state "Invite to Your Apartment" however, but if the player is present inside their Yacht, they will buzz the Cabin door there instead.
- If a vehicle is driven into the hot tub, it wouldn't get damaged from the water, even if it's fully submerged.
- The yacht's anti-air defenses are not able to defend against Merryweather Security 's airstrike service.
- The yacht, especially the Aquarius, appears to be the same yacht from Max Payne 3's "Sun Tan Oil, Stale Margaritas, and Greed" chapter, which is another Rockstar game. Likely a homage, considering that Max Payne 3 came out in 2012, one year before Grand Theft Auto V .
Glitches [ ]
- There is a minor visual glitch that occurs during rainy weather, wherein the ceilings and canopies of the yacht will not block the rain while the player is on the deck, and the rain falls through these surfaces.
- Sometimes, yacht owners may see someone else's yacht marked as their own; it will be marked on their radar and their name will appear above it, as if the player owned a second yacht. This, however, does not affect any functionalities on either the player's own yacht or the other player's, such as accessibility or the air defenses.

GTA Online: How to complete Superyacht Life Missions
Step into the world of luxury and conquer the seas with the Superyacht Life missions in Grand Theft Auto Online . In this high-stakes quest, you are assigned to go against a rival gang’s attempts to disrupt the balance through a series of less-than-legal activities.
From extraction of cargo to killing a few folks, a total of six adrenaline-pumping missions are part of this quest which can be played with up to four players. And with the Weekly GTA Online update, there’s an added incentive—you can now earn a lucrative bonus of $100,000 per mission until May 15, making the rewards as enticing as the thrill of the chase itself.
How to access the Superyacht Life missions in GTA Online
As the name suggests, to play these missions, you must first reach millionaire status by purchasing the Galaxy Superyacht . Once the luxurious boat has been purchased, meet with the captain at the yacht’s bridge to begin the available mission.
Alternatively, you can call the captain directly and request a job to initiate the quest. Both of these options are available as long as you haven’t completed the whole quest line before.
All Superyacht Life missions in GTA Online
Mission 1: overboard.
The first mission involves a group of thugs stealing the yacht’s jet skis and documents specifying that said yacht is a permanent resident of international waters.
Get on a jet ski and begin tracking down the thugs docked near the Vespucci Canals. Eliminate them and retrieve the docs. While doing this, you will also have a high Wanted level and run to save your life.
After dealing with the enemies, the captain will call again, alerting you that the thugs are part of a rival yacht club. You need to head over there and sink a total of 10 boats.
The last objective is to get rid of your high Wanted level , then the mission is completed.
Mission 2: Salvage
After the success of the first mission, Captain Brendan sends you to collect salvage from the sunken cargo ship near the yacht. To start the mission, speak with the captain and head over to the southern section of the boat. Dive into the water and follow the tracker as it leads you to the cargo.
While underwater, a distress call from Captain Brendan will let you know that he has been kidnapped. Worse, the cargo has been collected from the ship has been stolen. A new objective will pop up, asking you to save the man.
Proceed to the designated location on the map and discreetly eliminate all enemies. If you are detected, the kidnappers will execute the captain. Rescue the captain and rescue the goods to complete the mission.
Mission 3: All Hands
After the events of the second mission, an unknown party starts to set the Pacific Country Club members’ cars on fire, and it’s up to you to stop it. To extinguish the fire, the captain will direct you to steal an airplane called Tula .
Head over to the Los Santos International Airport and eliminate the 10 coast guards patrolling the entrance. Using stealth can make things easier because getting caught will net you a two-star Wanted level. Simply board the Tula after clearing the guards.
After boarding the airplane, you will see eight water gauges on their HUD that require filling. To do so, land the aircraft on the water and wait until all tanks are filled. Then, proceed to the Country Club’s garage to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival, Kkangpae (the man responsible) and his goons will open fire on the plane, adding another challenge for you to overcome.
Extinguish the fire to receive a call from the captain, who tells you about another garage where Kkangpae’s men have set six more cars on fire. Fly the plane over there and extinguish this fire as well. This time, there is no need to fight anyone: Simply return to the yacht with the Tula after saving the cars to mark the mission complete.
Mission 4: Icebreaker
Captain Brendan formulates a plan to take revenge on Kkangpae and his men. The captain directs you to infiltrate the rival gang’s warehouse near the Cyprus flats by destroying 10 AC units.
This is a straightforward mission where you must destroy all the AC units while surviving the attacks of Kkangpae’s goons. Next, the captain will direct you to steal Benson, a product ready to be sold by the gang, and then to sell it directly to the buyer yourself.
Mission 5: Bon Voyage
Bon Voyage is one of the most intense missions in the Superyacht life questline as it involves surviving three waves of Kkangpae’s men trying to hijack the Super Galaxy yacht in extremely unfavorable weather.
Due to the harsh weather, the yacht generators have malfunctioned, and the anti-aircraft systems have gone down with them. Using this as an advantage, enemies attack the yacht from sea and air alike. It’s up to you to stop them.
You will need heavy armor to withstand the three waves of enemy attacks. The yacht’s generators will reactivate after the first two, triggering the anti-aircraft system, which targets and destroys helicopters surrounding the yacht, making your life easier for the final showdown.
Mission 6: D-Day
Captain Brendan is fed up with Kkangpae and his gang, so he tasks you with eliminating the leader on his yacht. To avoid detection, he advises using a submarine to disarm the mines placed nearby.
Track the yacht and disarm any mines in the vicinity. Once the area is safe, board the ship and take care of Kkangpae and his crew. Expect the leader to flee via his helicopter onboard: Use the RPG to take it and finish GTA Online ‘s Superyacht Life quest in style.

A Superyacht Life - D-Day
Well, boss. You've got one last lesson in the art of seamanship. At the end of the day, it is a captain's duty to always tie up loose ends. And in our case, that may or may not involve submarines, sea mines and an amphibious assault. All in a day's work by now, eh?
- Go to the Kraken.
- Enter the Kraken submersible.
- Dive deeper to avoid the yacht's defenses.
- Go to the yacht staying below the yacht's defenses.

Grand Theft Auto: Online has been the main focus for Rockstar Games, and GTA Online players are no doubt happy about it. While some focus has been put on the new cars added to GTA , the main content of the most recent update focuses a lot on the game’s super yachts.
The recent Los Santos Summer Update for GTA Online added plenty of new content to the game revolving around super yachts. Players can become the captain of a super yacht to start brand new missions, but they can also unlock a special captain’s outfit that allows them to fully look the part.
RELATED : Fans Create Incredible Live Action Grand Theft Auto and Yakuza Mash Up
Grand Theft Auto ’s Summer Update released for players to download early last week, and mainly focuses on various maritime activities players can partake in through GTA Online . As mentioned above that content centers around the game’s super yachts, and involves a handful of missions that can be started through an NPC named Captain Brendan Darcy. Darcy will be the key for players to unlock the captain’s outfit, though it will take a bit of time.
In reality, unlocking the captain’s outfit in GTA Online is fairly straightforward. All players need to do is complete the questline for Galaxy Superyachts while being the host for the co-op missions. Thankfully, players can complete all of the missions alone so they need not worry about having friends available online. However, if players are completing missions in a friend group, only the player who acted as host will unlock the captain’s outfit through the Los Santos Summer Special event .
Naturally, before players can start this yacht questline they need to have purchased a Galaxy Superyacht beforehand. Interestingly, before this update player’s yachts weren’t really all that good for much. Yachts can’t really be driven and were only really used for hosting parties and looking nice. Now, GTA players finally have a use for yachts through the Summer Special event and can even dress up as the captain of their yacht. While the captain’s outfit looks exactly how one would expect it to look, it is a nice little cosmetic item for players to earn.
The captain’s outfit consists of an iconic sea captain’s hat, white shirt, black pants, and black dress shoes. The captain’s hat has a gold and navy insignia above the brim and the white shirt has golden and navy epaulets on the shoulders. Unfortunately for players who need to earn cash fast in GTA Online , a helpful money exploit was recently patched out through an update. So players desperate to earn cash for a superyacht will have to earn money legitimately.
Grand Theft Auto Online is available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, and will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2021.

Pointless Vehicles Not Worth Unlocking In GTA Online
- Just because a vehicle is pointless doesn't mean it won't offer some entertainment value in GTA Online.
- Some vehicles, like the Blimp and Dump Truck, are slow-moving targets that serve little practical purpose.
- Players may purchase these vehicles just to flex their wealth and show off to others in the game.
GTA Online has lots of different vehicles that players can buy, steal, and earn. Some are fast and have weapons attached, while others don't really have a lot going for them. While useless vehicles can still offer some level of player amusement, they are still pretty pointless in the grand scheme of things.
The following vehicles aren't likely to help anyone complete a mission or get away from the cops, but for those who want to waste some money, they might offer a little bit of entertainment. Out of all the vehicles in the game, there are a handful that stand out for their all-around pointlessness.
GTA 5: Best Mounted Weapons For Vehicles
The best mounted weapons for vehicles in Grand Theft Auto 5 are the ones that ensure destruction and chaos to Los Santos.
Updated May 20, 2024, by Benjamin Joe: GTA Online has no shortage of vehicles that don't really do a lot. From buses to dump trucks, if players want to splash the cash, then there are lots of vehicles they can buy. Showing off is a big part of GTA Online, whether it's with rare outfits, top-notch apartments, or random and sometimes bizarre vehicles. With that in mind, there is an additional vehicle that deserves to be on this list, so an update was needed to showcase this expensive purchase. Some veteran players may already own every vehicle on this list. That's the ultimate flex in GTA Online.
Rental Shuttle Bus
A fun but pointless vehicle.
- Price: $30,000
The Rental Shuttle Bus is the cheapest vehicle here at just $30,000. While it is a fun and unique vehicle, it doesn't serve much purpose in the game.
It's a Pegasus vehicle, so players will need to call it in every time they want to use it. It can be a fun vehicle to carry friends around in, so it isn't completely useless. The fact that it's so cheap is also a big plus. Overall, while it isn't particularly useful, it doesn't hurt the bank balance too badly. So it can be a good option for those looking to have some fun with friends.
Only A Two-Seater
- Price: $1,300,000 - $1,385,000
The Dune is a costly off-road Pegasus vehicle with very few uses. It is built in a similar way to the Brickade, but it doesn't have the same level of stability. With it being such a large vehicle, players assumed that it would have more than just two seats, but it doesn't.
GTA Online: 10 Best Off-Road Vehicles & How Much They Cost
GTA Online is comprised of a lot of choices and open activities, one being which car players want to drive. These are the best for off-road.
The back of the vehicle isn't accessible and serves no purpose. It's a slow vehicle that doesn't have a lot going for it. That said, it can be fun to go around ramming into other cars with a friend and causing mayhem.
It's Easier To Steal A Bus
- Price: $500,000 - $550,000
Buses are Pegasus vehicles. This means that they can't be stored in player garages. They also can't be modified. There are a couple of variants that players can purchase. They start at $500,000. While they aren't the most expensive vehicles in the game, buses offer very few uses for players.
It is much easier to steal a bus than it is to buy it, call Pegasus, and head to its drop-off point. It can be fun to drive around in a bus, especially if the player has friends on the same server. But it isn't that useful.
A Slow-Moving Target
- Price: $1,190,350
The Blimp was introduced as part of the After Hours update in 2018. There are a few different styles that the player can purchase. But, ultimately, it is just a standard Blimp. The Blimp can be fun to fly, but it doesn't really have any uses. It is used for one of the nightclub popularity missions , but the player doesn't need to own a Blimp to do this mission.
It has an initial price of $1,190,350, which makes it a costly aerial vehicle with very few benefits. It does come equipped with unlimited flares, which is a big plus since it is a slow-moving target.
Zero Practical Uses
- Price: $1,000,000
The Dump Truck is a bit of a meme vehicle. While it is one of the largest land vehicles that players can buy, it has a max speed of just 31 mph (49.9 kph).
With a price tag of $1,000,000, this vehicle doesn't do much. It is a Pegasus vehicle, so it can't be modified, and it doesn't fit on any of the city roads. That's not to say the vehicle is all bad. It can be fun watching players look in awe while passing them in a massive Dump Truck.
Buckingham Swift Deluxe
Bold and gold.
- Price: $5,150,000
The Buckingham Swift Deluxe is a gold version of the Swift. While it is one of the fastest helicopters in the game , the standard version works just as well as the gold version. The only real differences are the color and the price.
GTA Online: Every Arena War Vehicle, Ranked
The Arena War workshop introduced some incredibly unique vehicles to the game. Here's how they all rank.
The Buckingham Swift Deluxe costs a whopping $5,150,000, making it one of the most expensive non-weaponized vehicles in the game. This helicopter is used as a way for players to show how wealthy they are. But, it serves little practical purpose in the game.
Vapid Slamtruck
A disappointing vehicle.
- Price: $1,310,000
When this vehicle was announced back in late 2020, players were excited. It looked like a vehicle that would allow them to haul cars and perform stunts thanks to its ramp-like shape.
But when it was released, it was slow, clunky, expensive, and pretty useless. Like a lot of vehicles mentioned already, players who buy it tend to only do so to flex to other players, showing off how much money they have. The most useful thing about this vehicle is that it's used to showcase the prize vehicle at the Car Meet.
Buckingham Luxor Deluxe
For the players that have it all.
- Price: $10,000,000
Similar to the Swift Deluxe, the Buckingham Luxor Deluxe is just a gold version of a generic vehicle. Without any discounts, this plane comes with a hefty $10,000,000 price tag . Other than it being gold, it doesn't have any differences when compared to the generic version. The only reason why players buy this plane is to show off.
This plane is the dictionary definition of the phrase "because I can." Other than flying around and showing off to other players, there's no benefit to owning this plane. Just be warned that players who see this plane tend to try and blow it up as a way to silence the wealthy! So, always bring a parachute when flying, just in case.
Super Yacht
A huge flex.
Price: $6,000,000 - $10,000,000
When it comes to showing off in GTA Online, there's one purchase a player can make that really shows others how much wealth they have to throw around. That purchase is the Super Yacht. It's big, it's flashy, and, well, it doesn't do much else. It does unlock a few missions, and players can do Privacy Prevention to earn a few dollars, but that's about it. That said, in a game that is all about showing off, affluent players love to sink the full $10,000,000 into the yacht just to show other players that they can afford it.
Before buying a yacht, it's important to note that there are daily fees attached to it. So, once it's been purchased, it will continuously cost the player money. But putting that aside, for those who have purchased all the businesses, and own all the super cars, they might as well purchase a Super Yacht with all the trimmings.

GTA VI might not get delayed at all, likely to release next year
Rockstar games' gta vi is speculated to release in fall 2025. the game features a central female protagonist for the first time and may initially release for consoles, followed by a pc release..
Listen to Story
- GTA VI is rumoured to release in fall 2025
- Rockstar Games parent Take-Two Interactive said in its earnings report
- GTA VI might initially release for XBox and PlayStation
GTA VI is one of the most-awaited games of the year and rumours around its release have been doing rounds for quite some time. It was earlier reported that the game might launch in 2026, instead of the earlier-promised 2025. However, fresh reports are now saying that the game won't be delayed and will most likely released within the promised timeline. In its Q4 2024 earnings report, Rockstar Games parent Take-Two Interactive provided a more precise release window for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The company said that the game would release in "fall 2025." Earlier, Rockstar had said that the game would arrive in 2025, without sharing any other details.
"As we enter Fiscal 2025 with positive momentum, we expect to deliver Net Bookings of $5.55 to $5.65 billion. Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase," Take-Two said as per a report in The Verge.
This announcement comes alongside impressive sales figures for GTA V, which has sold an astounding 200 million copies. This achievement makes it the second bestselling game of all time, trailing only Minecraft by 100 million copies.
Circling back to GTA VI, XBox and PlayStation players might be able to play the game before PC players as it is expected to be out for consoles first, followed by a PC release. However, this is mere speculation at this point and nothing has been confirmed by Rockstar Games. So, if you are a PC player, don't give up just yet.
Several details about the game have leaked online in the past. For instance, the GTA VI map is expected to be the biggest ever in Rockstar Games' history, even surpassing the likes of Red Dead Redemption 2. A Reddit user had compiled a list of locations reportedly included in the game, suggesting that it will extend beyond Florida to encompass parts of Georgia as well. Apart from the map, Reddit users had also claimed that GTA VI might have the highest number of mini-games ever seen in the series. A brand-new fishing mini-game could also be introduced to the franchise.
Coming to what we do know, it was clear from the first trailer that the game will have a female protagonist, called Lucia, this time. This is the first time that a central female character is being included in the franchise and fans are quite excited over the same. There will also be another male character, name of which is rumoured to be Jason.

It really breathes new life into your time online. GTA is not a game known for its sea going adventures, and generally lacks in the boating department compared to land and air vehicles. I mean shit, it wasn't that long ago (GTA 3) that simply going in the water would kill you. The private yacht really brings up the slack in this area.

The Orion is the cheapest at 6 million, the Pisces costs 7 million, and the Aquarius is the most expensive at 8 million. The Pisces, in our opinion, is the best deal as it comes with better watercraft and a better helicopter than the Orion.
