A futuristic water Jet Capsule embodies the idea of having a boat small enough to be easily maneuvered, yet spacious enough to take a handful of friends over to a port for an evening’s entertainment. The 2016 Jet Capsule offers the unlimited customizable possibilities to be the perfect water vehicle for many different purposes. This watercraft features rear doors, photochromic windows, rooftop that transforms into a sundeck, toilette room, rear/sub-cameras, private jet layout with air conditioning and heater.

Customization is everything. The Jet Capsule not only justifies it but also defines it. The owner of $100,000 watercraft can choose to equip it with either single or dual engines, as well as auxiliary electric motor that can be in protected areas like lakes or natural reserves.

Total power outputs range from 370 hp (276 kW) up to 600 hp (447 kW) and, from those options, the maximum achievable speed is 38 knots (44 mph or 71 km/h). With a maximum load of 12 passengers and one pilot, the cruising speed is 32 knots (37 mph or 51 km/h).

The pod-like Jet Capsule has a full carbon body and photochromic windows. There’s a rooftop sundeck for passengers to relax on, while inside there are driver controls with views of rear and underwater cameras, air conditioning, a heater, seating, tables and a toilet. The mini-yacht defines its name being only 7.6 m (24.9 ft) long, 3.5 m (11.5 ft) wide and 2.3 m (7.5 ft) tall.

We have covered myriad superyachts in the recent past which is why we wanted to break the pattern and bring something to the table that’s super even without being a superyacht- a super stunning mini yacht ! Lazzarini Design Studio has unveiled a luxurious mini yacht that may ditch the opulent size of a superyacht but does not skimp on amenities as the bespoke interior can be as luxe as your liking and as top-of-the-line as your pockets permit. This impressive space can be turned into comfortable seating for up to 20 people, or can also be designed to be used as a small home on the water. Called jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) it can cruise at a speed between 35 to 45 knots and once you opt for the hyper jet version, the vessel can reach over 60 knots. The vessel measure 9.5m in length and is available in full electric mode.

The body of the watercraft is made from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass. The super sleek jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) comes with a hi-tech LED headlight system that allows the vessel to modify the light intensity and inclination. What adds to the cool features and functions is a water surface scanner that can be very helpful in spotting and preventing debris. The due punto zero (2.0) retails from $500,000 leading up to a hefty sum of $1 million for the hyper jet version, which features a full dry carbon body.

Jet Capsule’s Mini Jet Spider is a Transformer Yacht Tender

Jet Capsule’s Mini Jet Spider is a prototype from an Italian company that has launched larger models with similar hull forms. Shaped like a NASA Apollo rocket capsule, the three-person Mini Jet Spider is the first in the company’s line to have a detachable carbon-fiber hardtop.

The purpose-built pilot seat has a shock-suspension system and body belts; the two rear seats face forward, or can fold down or flip back to face the swim platform. The forward and rear windows of the Mini Jet Spider’s console can open for fresh air.

Power options include a 315 hp gasoline power plant, a 260 hp diesel engine or a 160 hp electric motor, all mated to Hamilton water jets, with respective top speeds of 45, 35 and 25 knots. There is also a hybrid gas/electric option that connects to an 80 hp power unit.

Jet Capsule says it will produce the Mini Jet Spider after it receives 10 orders for the $169,000 craft. And in the meantime, it’s promoting additional variations including a party capsule that users can pilot while riding a Flyboard, and an armored capsule with bulletproof shields.

Open or Closed

Italian designer Pierpaolo Lazzarini wanted the Mini Jet Spider to be fun and flexible, so he created a carbon-fiber hardtop that can be removed, turning the vessel into an open craft.

The Jet Ski-style captain’s seat is designed to handle the 45-knot speed that the capsule achieves with a 315 hp gasoline engine.

With the hardtop on and windows sealed, the Mini Jet Spider can run through chop and inclement weather.

italian water mobility company jet capsule unveils its 2021 lineup: the jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) and the hyper jet capsule. designed by pierpaolo lazzarini , these two new models both measure 9.5m in length and are available in full electric mode. specifically developed for transportation, the company offers various customizations and layouts: from a private vessel to one that accommodates 20 passengers.

the jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) is also dubbed ‘LX’ due to the extra length this model provides. the body of the watercraft is made from a combination of carbon fiber and fiberglass. a newly designed LED headlight system offers the possibility to adjust the light intensity and inclination. the front is also equipped with a water surface scanner in order to prevent debris.

on board, the craft features a protected deck and seating area, which in the version without a toilet accommodates up to 20 passengers plus a captain. alternatively, with the addition of a toilet, 16 passengers can fit with space leftover for one wheelchair or a baggage compartment. there’s also a more spacious leisure version designed for just 10 people. the jet capsule is rina and CE certificated and registered upon the international IMO classification rules of ‘passenger boat’.

instead of the twin yanmar engines, there’s also the option to install a triple electric engine set up with 450 kW of electric power. with this configuration, the boat has the possibility to sail, dock and maneuver in full electric mode with speeds up to 30 knots. a hybrid setup is also available in the new jet capsule lineup.

depending on the chosen power, jet capsule due punto zero (2.0) can comfortably cruise at a speed between 35 to 45 knots. however, in the hyper jet version, the vessel can reach over 60 knots. both models are equipped with a twin 24,000 BTU air conditioning system. the due punto zero (2.0) retails from $500,000 USD, reaching up to $1 million for the hyper jet version, which features a full dry carbon body (-600kg) with up 1250hp. see the previous jet capsule models on designboom’s dedicated page here .

Jet Capsule Unveils Concept Yacht That Is Out of This World

A recent study published by Climate Central —a peer-reviewed scientific research organization—shows that the seas are currently rising at the fastest rate in the last 28 centuries, which has led some companies to further innovate their approach on sustainable living. For Jet Capsule, an Italian engineering and design firm, that means creating a yacht that doubles as a small residence and is energy-independent.

Dubbed the UFO, for its resemblance to what we think of as an extraterrestrial spacecraft, the recently unveiled concept consists of a 40-foot, saucer-shaped platform, with a spherical cabin at its center. The outer terrace can be used for a variety of activities, ranging from walking to riding a bicycle around the floating structure. The upper half of the central cabin, which is 7.2 feet in height (so NBA players might need to find a different mode of living on the water), serves as the kitchen, living room, and dining room. Stairs lead to the lower half of the dwelling (also 7.2 feet deep), which contains a bedroom and bathroom, with the addition of a wraparound window offering views of the underwater scenery.

A rendering shows the structure’s above-water interior.

To power the “UFO,” generators attached to the bottom of the structure harness the energy of moving water currents, while wind turbines and solar panels situated above the water collect energy from the wind and sun. This power is transferred to a central battery that is housed below the cabin. When residents in the floating home decide to stay in one spot, an electric anchor can be deployed to stabilize the structure. And when those onboard want to move location, an electrically charged hydrojet engine could take them to their next destination.

To date, Jet Capsule has not announced a time frame as to when the structures could be built, or the price.
