Rarely do you ever hear the mention of a cream puff when looking at a boat, but here it is.  A one owner boat ( over 35 years) with only 560 original hours on it's 320HP Cat engines, washed every week and polished every six months from new. Many custom feathers including a fold up bow pulpit to save on those dock fee.  Every Manual, pictures of the vessel being built and many up grades including a water maker. This vessel would be a perfect first time vessel or for a couple maturing into power boating.

Standard features.

Entering the vessel from the starboard side directly into the salon and lower helm area. The salon is spacious carpeted over teak and holly soul, has a sofa and two recliners, TV and plenty of storage.  

 Down three steps to port is the well laid out galley with cooktop, microwave-convection oven, stainless steel sinks and refrigerator. Good counter space and storage and a large settee to starboard for four.

Moving forward you will find the day/guest head which is a wet head with electric toilet sink and storage. The forward area is the guest stateroom with a double berth to starboard large hanging locker and storage with additional storage beneath.

Aft of the salon and to port is the entrance of the Master stateroom. There is a double, built is seat, oversized hanging locker and in suite head with electric head and separate shower.

Centerline and up from the salon is the aft deck which is enclosed and has wing door to the side decks.  This area has a table and chairs as well as lounge chairs, wet bar and access to the swim step. Up a few steps on port is the upper helm which has a "L" shaped settee and helm seat. The helm is well laid out with Garmin GPS/Radar, Robertson auto piolet, trim tabs, speed and depth and Micro Commander single shifters. Aft of the upper helm area above the aft deck hardtop this the location of the vessels tender and Bower davit.

1984 Golden Star Nova 42 Original owner trawler for sale!  What else can I say.  These owners took great care of her since 1984!!  She is in great shape with Perkins Diesels and a Onan Generator.  The engines only have 1700 hours with the generator with 871 hours.  All teak inside from bow to stern.  She has a large aft cabin and big salon.  The galley is down with plenty of room to cook.  Please make a appointment to see this great yacht!

Golden Star 42 Trawler on Sea Trial

Yes! Two Golden Star trawlers in the same season. Another Maine couple was surfing the web- like you are now! and noticed that we just worked with a Maine couple on their 42 foot Golden Star Motor Yacht. So, they contacted us to work with them too! The power of the internet…WOW! We board the boat in Stuart FL, performing the sea trial with the seller, broker, surveyor and Captain Chris. After checking fluids we start up the engines and run to the boatyard for the haulout and underwater inspection. After completing that part of the survey, we launch and the engine performance tests are run in the St. Lucie River Northfork. With the underway portion of the survey finished, we dock at Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart, FL. Next up: all the on board lifestyle systems.

March is a beautiful time to be in FL. Did I mention the skies were clear, the sun was bright and the temps were in the mid 60’s? Let’s go cruising.

High Noon V is a classic, late-80's, sundeck motoryacht.  She offers a large sundeck, full beam master stateroom aft, twin Perkins 240 hp main engines, 8 kW Westerbeke generator and clean, comfortable interior.  She would be a great liveaboard or Great Loop cruiser.

42' Golden Star Vessel Walkthrough

From the large sundeck, you can walk out either side deck, walk up the molded-in steps to the flybridge or step down into the salon.  Once inside the salon, you will find an L-shaped sofa and coffee table starboard aft, two chairs and a cabinet to port, storage cabinets port forward, counter, electrical panels and side deck door starboard forward and master stateroom entrance port aft.  Walk forward and step down to find the galley to port, dinette to starboard and guest stateroom and head forward.

High Noon V offers a full beam master stateroom aft with ensuite head and enclosed shower and a guest stateroom forward with over/under bunks and ensuite head.  The salon sofa converts to a double size berth.
