AQUA BLU is a beautiful 60-metre (198’) luxury expedition superyacht originally launched in 1968 as a British Naval Explorer HMS Beagle and in 2006 converted into an elegant private yacht for a European aristocratic family. In 2019 she was refurbished based on a design by Cor D Rover, turning her into a world-class charter yacht, with accommodation spreading over 15 suites for up to 30 charter guests overnight. A crew of 25 highly skilled professionals ensures a top-quality service is offered at all times for a truly relaxing and worry-free charter vacation.

On the main deck, the aft section is laid out with seating for guests to unwind in the shade and enjoy the fresh air and changing scenery.

An outer stairway leads up to the forecastle deck, where the aft is laid out for alfresco dining at the elegant circular table. The foredeck hosts the tenders and the bridge deck aft above papers guests with sunbeds and a Jacuzzi along the stern. The sundeck comes with outdoor seating and sun loungers, with a central bar and grill area to serve guests seated on the sunpad/sofas, which curve around the forward port and starboard walls with a raised table on each end.

The lower deck hosts five guest cabins from categories II and III near the aft. Above, the main deck places five guest cabins form categories II and III forward, with space amidships dedicated to the dining room with a buffet layout. Farther aft is the main salon, where a sofa and armchairs are placed to port and starboard respectively and coffee tables make an ideal place to unwind with drinks after a meal. A bar and games table is placed near the doors to the main deck aft.

AQUA BLU Specifications

On the forecastle deck, there are three Category I cabins forward immediately followed by a port library and TV room, opposite of which is the foyer leading to the skylounge, which has an extensive bar forward and seating placed on both sides of the room for a relaxing and casual atmosphere.

The bridge deck has the helm station forward followed by two Category I cabins. Also on this level is the gym and the spa. Quadruple Lister Blackstone engines each producing 660 HP produce a top speed of 12 knots with a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The accommodation sleeps a maximum of 30 guests over 15 en-suite staterooms: 5 Category I cabins, 8 category II and 3 Category III cabins. ~ The Category I cabins are fitted with a king-sized bed, some of them have a private lounge study. The en-suite bathrooms provide a toilet, sink and shower. ~ Category II cabins have eigther king beds or have a twin cabin configuration (not convertible into double), a sofa and an en-suite bathroom. ~ Category III cabins are furnished with twin beds and have an en-suite bathroom. ~ Among the crew of 25, there is a dive instructor and 4 English-speaking tour guides.

Advertised by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht Mare Blu is a 63 ft power catamaran. The key elements of Mare Blu are her impeccable styling and alfresco dining areas. Mare Blu spends the summer and winter season in British Virgin Islands. She was constructed by the ship builder Lagoon in 2018. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 generous cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

Mare Blu is presented primarily as a power catamaran. The the heart of the yacht is the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is generous, with a prominent dining and seating area and usually it is where you, as a charter guest, spend most of your time. The tasteful cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. The cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Multiple portholes add to the feeling of connection with the discovered environment.

Captain - Tony Morgan Tony hails from the south coast of the UK and has been on the water since before he can remember. Starting out in a pond sailing Optimists before progressing to larger sail boats and yachts. He has been a captain since the age of 18, having received his qualifications upon graduating secondary school. After studying Ancient History and History at University (and now loaded with facts about all his charter destinations!) and a brief stint in Marketing, he found his way back to the sea in 2016 to start a full-time career as a charter captain. He has run charters in a large amount of the Mediterranean, including Greece, Croatia, Turkey and Sicily, as well as crossing the Atlantic multiple times to work in the Caribbean for winter seasons. Most recently, Tony has spent his time in the BVI both running yachts and teaching sailing courses for a well-known sailing school based in Tortola. Chef - Mia Hanks Mia grew up on the water in Sydney’s Northern Beaches cruising on yachts in the majestic Pittwater harbour. She has absolutely fallen in love with the simple pleasures of living on a yacht and introducing guests to this magical world. She enjoys all her passions in this position: gathering people together to share delicious food, traveling, and the water. After studying marketing and working in a corporate job in Sydney for five years she decided to pursue her passion. Years later, she is still living her dream, having catered for guests aboard yachts in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Italy, France, the BVIs and the stunning waters around St Maarten. While her cooking repertoire is broad, she loves to prepare fresh and healthy dishes incorporating local delicacies with the freshest produce. She loves the craft of putting tastes, textures, and aromas together and believes that good food creates wonderful experiences that bring people together. - Tony Morgan Tony hails from the south coast of the UK and has been on the water since before he can remember. Starting out in a pond sailing Optimists before progressing to larger sail boats and yachts. He has been a captain since the age of 18, having received his qualifications upon graduating secondary school. After studying Ancient History and History at University (and now loaded with facts about all his charter destinations!) and a brief stint in Marketing, he found his way back to the sea in 2016 to start a full-time career as a charter captain. He has run charters in a large amount of the Mediterranean, including Greece, Croatia, Turkey and Sicily, as well as crossing the Atlantic multiple times to work in the Caribbean for winter seasons. Most recently, Tony has spent his time in the BVI both running yachts and teaching sailing courses for a well-known sailing school based in Tortola. Chef - Mia Hanks Mia grew up on the water in Sydney’s Northern Beaches cruising on yachts in the majestic Pittwater harbour. She has absolutely fallen in love with the simple pleasures of living on a yacht and introducing guests to this magical world. She enjoys all her passions in this position: gathering people together to share delicious food, traveling, and the water. After studying marketing and working in a corporate job in Sydney for five years she decided to pursue her passion. Years later, she is still living her dream, having catered for guests aboard yachts in Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Italy, France, the BVIs and the stunning waters around St Maarten. While her cooking repertoire is broad, she loves to prepare fresh and healthy dishes incorporating local delicacies with the freshest produce. She loves the craft of putting tastes, textures, and aromas together and believes that good food creates wonderful experiences that bring people together. First Mate - Rachel McArdle Rachel recently fell in love with yachting after completing her first season in the Mediterranean in summer 2023. She grew up in Southern California and originally attended SDSU to complete a degree in teaching. But after spending a summer in Italy working as an Au Pair and catching the travel bug she made the choice to pack up life at home and pursue full time seasonal work. “I never imagined working on boats, but now I can’t picture myself doing anything else. I love being face to face with guests and doing what I can to make their vacation extraordinary.” Tony and Mia met in the industry while working for a sailing flotilla holiday company hosting guests on yachts in the beautiful Mediterranean, with Rachel joining them in the Caribbean this season. This positive and easy going trio share the same passion for travel, sailing and a high level of customer service bringing them together to work as the well-balanced team they are today; Successfully chartering together in the Mediterranean, BVI and surrounds. The 23.04m/75'7" 'Blue Angel' motor yacht built by shipyard Evo Marine is available for charter for up to 8 guests in 4 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Italian designer Fulvio de Simoni.

Built in 2007, Blue Angel is a luxury charter dream, offering excellent indoor and outdoor spaces sure to delight guests.

Guest Accommodation

Blue Angel offers guest accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising a master suite, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins. There are 6 beds in total, including 1 king, 1 double, 4 singles and 2 convertible.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Blue Angel benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Blue Angel comfortably cruises at 25 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 31 knots.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Blue Angel. Take to the sea on a Jet Ski offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Another excellent feature are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Blue Angel also features canoes, kneeboards, paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Blue Angel has a Novourania Tender to transfer you from ship to shore.

Blue Angel and her crew are available for charter this winter for cruising within . She is already accepting bookings this summer for cruising in the Mediterranean.
