Die neue Reling

Durch die neue Reling wirkt das Modell leichter

Im Laufe der letzten knapp zwei Jahre hat es sich ergeben, die Optimist ein wenig anzupassen.

Neben der neuen Reling mit Gummizug ( das Netzt saugt sich voll und verändert den Schwerpunkt), habe ich das Deck ein wenig verändert und einen Flügelkiel angebaut.

Dieser Flügelkiel wiegt etwa 1000g und wirkt beim Segeln als Stabilisator.

Dadurch wird das Segelverhalten sehr zum Positiven verändert.

Zum Schluss kam noch eine kleine, von meiner Nachbarin selbstgemacht Puppe in die Pflicht.

Ich denke, das die Optimist jetzt das ein Stadium erreicht hat, welches sich durchaus sehen lassen kann.

Navigation muss sein.

Neu sind auch die Türscharniere aus Messing.

Das Püppchen.

Das Püppchen sorgt für Leben in der "Bude"

Ein kleiner Tipp am Rande,

durch solch kleine Finessen lebt ein Modell so richtig auf.

Hier berichte ich über die Restauration bzw den Neuaufbau der Optimist,

die ich vor einigen Tagen in meiner Werft eingedockt habe.

Leider hatte ich das Modell vorher nur auf ein paar äußerst schmeichelhaften Bilder sehen können,

da hatte ich mich spontan dazu entschlossen, das es mein nächstes Winterprojekt wird.

Das mir bis Dato unbekannte Modell konnte mir ja hier näher erläutert werden,

hierfür noch mal meinen Besten Dank.

Nachdem ich mich mit einem Vereins-Kameraden unterhalten und seinen Optimisten ausführlich studiert habe, habe ich mich dazu entschlossen..... einige andere Wege zu gehen als es die Anleitung und der Bauplan vorgeben.

Zunächst ging es mit der Kabine weiter. Ich habe den vorgegebenen Kunstoffrahmen eingebaut, dieser dient mir als Formgeber.

So habe ich die Form von innen mit Holzleisten verstärkt.

Zwischen die Seitenteile habe ich an der Mastposition eine Querverstrebung eingebaut.

Anschließend habe ich das Kabinendach angepasst....

... um dann einen "Kranz" auszusägen, den ich dann auf die Kabine geklebt habe.

Nun habe ich innen eine Auflagelippe eingeklebt.

Um eine solide Auflage für das Kabinendach zu haben.

Das war es wieder mal.

Und weiter geht es. Wie ich schon schrieb, weiche ich von der eigentlichen Bauanleitung ab.

Um auch bei aufgesetztem Mast ins Innere des Bootes vorzudringen, habe ich das Dach geteilt.

Das ausgesegte Dachsegment wird verleimt:

Und der andere Teil ist nun rausnehmbar, so bleibt genug Platz um im Rumpf zu hantieren.

Nun habe ich die Fenster in den Kunststoffrahmen geschnitten. Da sich der Übergang vom inneren Holzrahmen zum Kunststoffrahmen deutlich abzeichnete, habe ich mich entschlossen, die Rahmen zu verkleiden.

Nun habe ich noch den Übergang Kunststoff Rahmen / Holzrahmen oben aufgefüllt, damit beim späteren funieren keine Delle entsteht.

Die Seitenteile der Kabine sind mittlerweile furniert, und die Fenster ausgeschnitten.

Nun habe ich mich der Pflicht gewidmet. Dazu habe Holzleisten zurecht gefräßt.....

.. und eingeklebt.

Nun habe ich ein Gestell gebaut woraus die Pflicht besteht.

Zur Anprobe eingesetzt.

Mittwoch, 10.04.2019 Restaurierung einer »Optimist« von Graupner, Teil 1

Als Neuheit im Katalog von 1978 hatte die Firma Graupner den Bausatz für ein Modell des Seekreuzers Optimist als Flaggschiff ihrer Segelmodelle im Programm. Im Maßstab 1:11 ist das fertige Modell 104 cm lang, 27 cm breit, hat eine Segelfläche von 41,5 dm² und bringt ca. 6 kg Gesamtgewicht auf die Waage. Solch eine alte Dame wurde Georg Reulen im Dezember 2017 in wenig erbaulichem Zustand überreicht. Ab Seite 34 in der ModellWerft 05/2019 berichtet er vom Wiederaufbau dieses wunderschönen Seglers.

Based on June 2021 GIS data. -Clean scene with UV mapped and textured buildings. Clean Hierarchy with grouped objects according to map type, properly named materials with textures. Fast loading and rendering scene. All the objects are properly assigned with materials and textures. The scene is built in a simple way, and all are poly objects. You can easily change the textures of each object including the buildings. Buildings are assigned with 11 textures and you can change them easily. Trees are not included in the main scene, kindly merge the tree file. Curve data not included in the main scene, separate file provided. Extra details including bridge type, tunnels, pipeline, power lines, waterways, boundary etc are included in separate files. Kindly check the texture folder, you will be surprised! Download the preview render file first and check the details, especially the area covered. Check all the preview images. The city is made in c4d, you will get exactly the same render in c4d. However due to exporting limitations some textures may not render as the same in other 3d formats. I tried my best to include all the textures (additional textures also provided) in a separate file. You can reassign the textures easily. The buildings will be the same across all the formats. It is possible to provide 3d terrain but you have to pay. Contact me for any doubts. - This scene contains details of buildings, roads, land details, area details, airport, railway and water details. - Clean scene with properly grouped elements. All objects are properly arranged and added with proper name and materials. For user convenience the scene has proper hierarchy with layers, materials and groups. - Buildings are extracted from real world data.
