Semi-scale model of a luxury motor yacht to 1:15 scale

Just like the full-size prototype the Najade features a large, roomy cabin, an imposing flying bridge and a lusty power system to ensure an impressive top speed. The propulsion system is based on a 700-size electric motor driving the propeller direct via the propeller shaft. The power system are not included in the kit. Construction of this superb model is hastened by many pre-fabricated parts, including the glazing which is moulded in clear brown-tinted material. The fittings set is supplied as standard, and contains all the detail items required to give the Najade a perfect scale appearance. Fittings set set included

The ship model division of Robbe Modellsport has been owned by Krick Modelltechnik since summer 2015. The former Robbe products will be marketed from 2016 under the brand "romarin by krick". We have taken over almost all the designs and forms around ship model construction and we will endeavor to re-launch the attractive ship models and the important accessories from the Robbe range and thus make the ship model construction even more lively. Starting with the important starter models Katja and Dolly, over the fast motoryachts like the Najade, up to the Feuerl�schboot Dusseldorf or Hochweeschler Happy Hunter we want to expand the program step by step. And especially the important accessories will not be missing. Certainly, this will take some time, since Robbe's inventory could be reduced to little. We are constantly updating articles. Seit wann gibt es Schiffsmodellbau?

Das erste Modellboot zu bauen, fühlt sich wie ein großes Abenteuer an und der Stolz auf das erste fertige Holzschiff Modell ist groß. Dennoch muss jeder heutige Modellbauer sich mit dem Gedanken abfinden, dass schon unzählige Gleichgesinnte vor ihm ein ähnliches Modellschiff aus Holz gebaut haben. Die Ursprünge des Schiffsmodellbau werden nämlich bereits vor mehreren tausend Jahren im alten Ägypten vermutet. Zu dieser Zeit wurden Schiffsmodelle bereits als Grabbeigaben verwendet. Und Kinder bauen Spielzeug Modellboote wahrscheinlich schon seit der Bug des ersten Schiffes das Wasser berührte. Maßstabsgetreue Modelle kamen wahrscheinlich im 16. Jahrhundert auf. Zu dieser Zeit mussten Schiffbaumeister ihre Pläne für neue Schiffe den Herrschern irgendwie schmackhaft machen. Hierbei nutzten Sie die kleineren Nachbildungen, um ihre Ideen zu veranschaulichen.

Einen großen Reiz versprühen die sogenannten RC Yachten. Hierbei handelt es sich um besonders elegante Schiffe , die hauptsächlich mit einem Deck und einer niedrigen Kajüte ausgestattet sind. Besonderes Herausstellungsmerkmal ist, dass diese Wasserfahrzeuge eine hohe Geschwindigkeit aufweisen und im Original für Sport- und Freizeitzwecke eingesetzt werden. Generell haben diese meist schneeweißen Schiffe eine luxuriöse Ausstattung und sind eigentlich der gehobenen Gesellschaft vorbehalten.

Umso spannender ist es für mich als Modellbauer, auf diese RC Yachten zurückgreifen zu dürfen. Dabei müssen diese Schiffe eindeutig von den Segel-Yachten abgegrenzt werden. In meinem Artikel geht es um beide RC Yacht Typen, wobei die RC Rennyachten nicht unerwähnt bleiben sollen.

Welche Typen bei RC Yachten gibt es?

Wenn du dich für RC Yachten interessierst, dann wirst du eine Vielzahl an unterschiedlichen Modellen von verschiedenen Herstellern vorfinden. Zunächst solltest du dich für eine bestimmte Bootsklasse entscheiden. Grundsätzlich werden zwischen…

RC Motoryacht

Eine ferngesteuerte Motoryacht * entspricht in etwa der Bauweise hochmoderner Luxus-Yachten. Es sind Nachbauten von besonders eleganten Booten , die eher von zahlungskräftigen Kunden als Privat-Yacht genutzt werden. Im Modellbau müssen diese Boote nicht immer maßstabsgetreu dem Original entsprechen. Ebenso gibt es hier auch viele Fantasie-Yachten, die es im Original gar nicht gibt. Dennoch zeichnen sich diese Boote durch eine elegante Linienführung und einen schönen Aufbau aus.

RC Motoryachten eignen sich sowohl für Anfänger als auch Fortgeschrittene im Modellbau. Die meisten Modelle sind auch ABS-Kunststoff hergestellt. Sehr beliebt sind hier die sogenannten RTR-Modelle, die schon vollständig zusammengebaut und nach dem Laden der Fahrakkus sofort einsatzbereit sind. Viele ausgesprochen schöne Modelle kommen hier auf eine Länge zwischen 600 und 900 mm . Mit entsprechender Motorisierung können diese durchaus eine Geschwindigkeit von über 20 km/h auf dem Wasser erreichen .

Für den Fahrspaß setzen die meisten Hersteller heute auf eine 2-Kanal 2,4 GHz Fernbedienung . Dabei werden als Fernbedienung die Pultgehäuse-Modelle bevorzugt. Mit diesen kannst du deine RC Motoryacht vorwärts und rückwärts sowie nach links und rechts zur Seite steuern. Für den Antrieb reicht in aller Regel ein leistungsstarker, bürstenloser Elektromotor vollkommen aus. Ebenso benötigen die meisten Motoryachten auch nur eine Schiffsschraube.

Die montierten Modelle verfügen über einen fertig montierten Motor mit elektronischem Fahrtregler . Hier musst du nur noch den geladenen Fahrakku einlegen. Praktischerweise kannst du bequem über eine spritzwassergeschützte Abdeckung Zugang zum Motor, Fahrtregler und Akku erlangen. Zum Teil sind die Motoren sogar noch mit einer Wasserkühlung ausgestattet . Erkennbar ist dies daran, wenn beim Fahren auf einer Seite der Yacht ein Wasserstrahl herausspritzt.

Interessant sind RC Motoryachten, die anstelle einer herkömmlichen Schiffsschraube über einen Jet-Antrieb verfügen. Ein solcher Wasserstrahlantrieb arbeitet nach dem Rückstoßprinzip. Ein Jetantrieb wird von einem ummantelten Propeller angetrieben. Dieser saugt das Wasser unter dem Bootsrumpf durch eine düsenähnliche Röhre und stößt das Wasser am Heck über bewegliche Düsenaustritte wieder aus. Ein solcher Antrieb wird auch als Impeller bezeichnet . Du kannst auch mit einem Impeller rückwärtsfahren, in dem die Schubumkehrklappen nach unten gestellt werden und somit das Boot nach hinten gezogen wird. Die meisten RC Motoryachten werden mit Funk-Fernsteuerung, Akku, Ladegerät, Bootsständer und Anleitung geliefert. Damit kannst du auch auf kleineren Gewässern einen großen Fahrspaß erleben .

RC Segelyacht

Segelyachten gehören ebenfalls auf jedem Gewässer für einen interessanten Blickfang. RC Segelyachten * werden häufig von Vereinen für Regatten eingesetzt . Ähnlich wie bei den Originalen kommt es hier immer auf ausreichend Wind an, um ein solches Boot zu bewegen. Reine RC Segelyachten verzichten auf einen zusätzlichen Elektromotor als Antrieb . Die Handhabung ist wesentlich aufwändiger als bei einer RC Motoryacht.

Der Rumpf selbst ist meist aus ABS hergestellt. Mast und Ausleger bestehen dagegen meist aus Glasfaser . Damit RC Segelyachten durch stärkere Winde nicht so schnell umkippen, verfügen diese meist über ein relativ großes Schwert unter dem Kiel. Für den Antrieb musst du das Segel ein- und ausfahren können. Ebenso kannst du bei einigen Modellen auch den Ausleger fernsteuern. Hierzu werden sogenannte Servo-Motoren benötigt, die nicht für den Antrieb, sondern lediglich zu Steuerungszwecken eingesetzt werden.

Entsprechend der Segeleinstellung kannst du deine Segel-Taktik und die Geschwindigkeit anpassen . Gelenkt wird die RC Segelyacht über das Ruder, welches ebenfalls mit einem Servomotor gesteuert wird. Moderne RC Segelyachten verwenden ebenfalls eine 2,4 GHz 2-Kanal-Fernsteuerung. Allzu schnell sind Segelyachten nicht. Ebenso wird auch kein Rückwärtsfahren unterstützt. Wettkampf-Modelle können durchweg eine Länge von mindestens 900 mm aufweisen .

RC Rennyacht

Die Bezeichnung Rennyacht * kann im Modellbau vielfältig gedeutet werden. Auf der einen Seite handelt es sich hierbei um besonders schnittige RC Segelyachten, die speziell für Wettkämpfe eingesetzt werden, auf der anderen Seite um RC Rennboote, die besonders flach und schnittig gebaut sind. Im Gegensatz zu den Rennyachten, die vornehmlich nur mit Windkraft über ihre Segel fahren, werden die RC Rennboote ausschließlich per Elektro- oder Benzin-Motor angetrieben .

Die Bootsrümpfe bestehen meist aus ABS-Kunststoff. Ferngesteuert werden beide Bootsklassen über eine moderne 2,4 GHz 2-Kanal-Funkfernsteuerung. Der größte Unterschied ist bei den Rennbooten zu finden. Sie werden über leistungsstarke Motoren angetrieben und erreichen eine deutlich höhere Geschwindigkeit von über 50 km/h . Natürlich findest du hier auch die ultraschnellen Jetantriebe. Neben den typischen 2-Kanal-Fernbedienungen im Pult-Design findest du bei Rennbooten auch die Pistolen-Fernsteuerungen . Die Geschwindigkeit wird über den Pistolenabzug geregelt, während ein großes Drehrad für die Richtungssteuerung vorgesehen ist.

Worauf solltest Du beim Kauf achten?

Wenn du Anfänger bist , solltest du unbedingt auf ein RTR-Modell, also Ready-to-Run-Modell, achten . Dieses ist fertig montiert und du musst lediglich den Fahrakku geladen einlegen und die Fernsteuerung mit handelsüblichen AA-Batterien bestücken. Danach geht es sofort los. Für den Anfang solltest du nach einer schönen RC Yacht Ausschau halten. Diese Modelle lassen sich überaus einfach steuern und erreichen dennoch eine gute Geschwindigkeit . Beim Antrieb solltest du vornehmlich auf Elektromotoren zurückgreifen. Viele sagen zwar, dass Benziner die Top-Klasse repräsentieren, jedoch gibt es mittlerweile so leistungsstarke E-Motoren, die fast an die Leistung eines Benziners herankommen . Nicht unerwähnt bleiben soll, dass Benziner nicht überall gefahren werden dürfen. Sie sind zudem recht laut.

Häufige Fragen & Antworten

Kann man die yacht in alle richtungen steuern.

Sämtliche mit Elektromotor ausgestatteten RC-Boote kannst du in alle Richtungen steuern . Auf der Fernbedienung findest du zwei Steuerknüppel. Einer ist für die Geschwindigkeitsregelung. Drückst du diesen nach vorne, fährt das Boot schneller vorwärts. Drückst du den Knüppel nach hinten, so fährt das Boot rückwärts. Der andere Steuerknüppel ist für die Rechts- und Linkssteuerung vorgesehen.

Ist ein Modellständer im Lieferumfang, um die Yacht sicher zu lagern?

Bei den meisten RTR-Modellbooten befindet sich im Lieferumfang auch ein kleiner Bootsständer. Damit kannst du das Boot daheim präsentieren und sicher lagern . Der Ständer ist der Bootsform unten angepasst.

Wie viele Antriebsmotoren hat die Yacht?

In aller Regel werden die meisten Yachten mit nur einem Elektromotor ausgestattet. Selbst diejenigen Modelle, welche über zwei Schrauben verfügen, nutzen gemeinsam eine E-Motor . Es gibt aber auch Boote, bei denen jede Antriebswelle über einen eigenen Motor verfügt.

Ist ein hochwertiger Motortyp verbaut?

Bei einigen RC Yachten ist ein Hochleistungsmotor verbaut. Ein Beispiel stellt der Brushless-Motor 2848 von HobbyWing * dar, der zugleich für eine Wasserkühlung vorgesehen ist. Weitere Top-Modelle sind die Tsunami Pro Seaking * Serie oder die MAX Marine S282 * Serie. Letzterer kann auch für einen Jetantrieb verwendet werden. Diese Motoren weisen einen Spannungsbereich zwischen 6 und 11,1 Volt auf und erreichen eine Drehzahl von ungefähr 3.500 Upm .

Wie wird der Motor der Yacht gekühlt?

Bei sehr preiswerten Yachten arbeitet ein relativ schwacher Elektromotor. Dieser muss nicht gesondert gekühlt werden, wird aber dennoch im Inneren sehr warm. Einige Hersteller legen ein Kühlblech darüber. Wesentlich effizienter sind die E-Motoren mit Wasserkühlung . Dabei ist eine Aluminium-Schlange um das Motorgehäuse gewickelt . Das Wasser wird von außen in diese Kühlschlange gepumpt, kühlt den Motor und wird auf der anderen Seite über einen kleinen Auslass nach außen gespritzt.

Wie lange ist die Fahrtzeit der Yacht?

Die maximale Fahrtzeit einer Yacht ist vom verwendeten Akku abhängig *, aber auch vom Stromverbrauch der verbauten Verbraucher. So wird die Akkuleistung nicht nur vom Elektromotor, sondern auch von den verbauten Servos und dem Fahrtregler benötigt. Ein 2.400 mAh NiMh-Akku mit 7,2 Volt kann in aller Regel 10 bis 20 Minuten Strom liefern .

Wie schnell kann die Yacht fahren?

Die eleganten RC Yachten mit Elektromotor erreichen eine Geschwindigkeit von mindestens 20 km/h . Die RC Segelyachten sind dagegen vom Wind abhängig. Die RC Rennyachten bzw. Speedboote kommen auf wesentlich höhere Geschwindigkeiten als 50 km/h. Es gibt sogar Modelle, welche die 200 km/h-Grenze knacken .

Wie aufwendig ist das Wechseln der Akkus?

Der Fahrakku lässt sich relativ einfach wechseln. Die meisten RC Yachten verfügen auf dem Deck über einen Schnellverschluss , mit dem die spritzwassergeschützte Abdeckung abgenommen werden kann. Es handelt sich hierbei um kleine Sicherungsklammern, die du herausziehen musst. Der Akku selbst ist meist mit einem Tamiya-Stecker mit dem innenliegenden Stromanschluss verbunden.

Gibt es am Sender die Möglichkeit eine Feintrimmung vorzunehmen?

Eine Trimmung ist besonders wichtig, da du hierüber die Ruderausrichtung und auch die Ansteuerung des Motors für die Geschwindigkeit genau einstellen kannst. Zu diesem Zweck findest du an der Fernsteuerung neben den beiden Steuerknüppeln sogenannte Schieberegler. Wenn du das Boot auf den Ständer stellst und einschaltest, kannst du die Wirkung der Trimmung genau beobachten. Am besten versuchst du dies beim Ruderausschlag.

Auf welcher Frequenz kann man die Yacht steuern?

Die meisten modernen Yachten unterstützen das 2,4 GHz-Band . Dieses ist wesentlich sicherer und verhindert zudem, dass zwei Boote auf derselben Frequenz gefahren werden . Ansonsten würden sich die beiden Bootsfahrer gegenseitig behindern. Die Funkreichweite ist jedoch unterschiedlich und richtet sich sowohl an die Qualität des Senders (Fernsteuerung) und dem Empfänger (Fahrtregler im Boot). Hier kannst du meist Reichweiten von 50 bis 150 Meter erreichen.

Mit welchem Servo ist die Yacht ausgestattet?

Servos * sind kleine rechteckige Bauteile, auf deren Oberseite ein beweglicher Hebel montiert ist. Im Inneren arbeiten kleine Brushless-Elektromotoren, welche mit Titan- oder Metallgetriebe die beste Leistung erzielen. Mit einem Servo werden die Steuersignale von der Fernbedienung in Bewegung umgesetzt . In einer Yacht sollten spritzwassergeschützte Modelle verwendet werden. Auch günstige Servos mit Kunststoffgetriebe reichen für einfache Lenkbewegungen des Ruders vollkommen aus. Servos können aber auch bei RC Segelyachten die Segel einstellen. So können hierüber die Masten gedreht, das Segel aufgezogen oder den Ausleger bewegt werden. In aller Regel sind die Servos bei RTR-Modellen schon fest eingebaut.

Sind Ersatzschiffsschrauben im Lieferumfang enthalten?

Nicht bei jeder RC Yacht befinden sich auch gleich Ersatzschiffsschrauben * im Lieferumfang. Diese kannst du jedoch jederzeit im einschlägigen Modellbauladen nachkaufen . Du musst hier lediglich auf den Durchmesser und das entsprechende Schraubgewinde achten .

Ist die Yacht schon komplett fertig aufgebaut oder müssen noch Bauteile montiert werden?

Die meisten RC Yachten sind schon fertig vormontiert . Wie bereits weiter oben dargelegt, musst du nur den geladenen Fahrakku einsetzen. Ebenso benötigst du für die Fernbedienung handelsübliche Batterien. Es gibt aber auch sehr ausgefallene RC Yachten, die als echter Bausatz geliefert werden . Für diese müssen alle Antriebsteile separat dazu bestellt werden.

Welches Zubehör gibt es für RC Yachten?

RC Yachten kannst du individuell aufrüsten. So bietet ein leistungsstärkerer Elektromotor * vielleicht eine höhere Fahrgeschwindigkeit. Aber auch an der Optik kannst du viel verändern. Einige Hersteller haben sich auf fein detaillierte Ausschmückungsgegenstände spezialisiert. So kannst du eine RTR-Yacht zum Beispiel mit einem eleganten Metallgeländer ausstatten. Diese findest du unter der Kategorie der Beschlagsätze . Auch maßstabsgetreue Figuren für die Deck-Dekoration kannst du kaufen.
