Sailing Catamaran Woods Designs Fiyca 37 complete restyling in 2018 next inspection in 2024. Holland Flag. Woods Designs is run by Richard Woods and specializes in the design of multi-hulls for both home and professional builders. Founded in 1981 we now boast possibly the largest and most comprehensive range of catamaran designs in the world.  Capacity 12pax Area 2 60 miles The Interior and Exterior have been recently completely painted, and it has a new bimini. New mattresses and upholstery, all safety equipment are new. Four double cabins with two single berths in the bow.  All-electric installation is new, bilge pump, battery charger, and interior/exterior lights. New sails in 2019 Comments middle of August: It has all the taxes in force and up to date, it is currently working for events and charters, it can be bought but the client cannot take it with them until the end of the season because they have charter commitments that they have hired this summer. It is well cared for and with all the documentation in order.

Currently located in Grenada, West Indies, Snowflake is a 1987 35 foot Richard Woods Flica F3 catamaran, production boat built by Palamos Boatbuild Ltd in Cornwall, England. A 1988 South West Export Award Winner, the Flica was designed and built for comfort and crossing oceans.

Snowflake is fitted out for long distance cruising, has sailed across the Atlantic multiple times, most recently with the current owner in December 2017. (EU VAT has been paid)

Many upgrades and extras have been added from 2014 through 2019, including watermaker, 885 watts of solar, replacement of windows and hatches, updated standing and running rigging, whisker pole, ground tackle and windlass, etc. See inventory list for full details.

*The Yanmar 2gm20 raw/saltwater cooled engine in starboard hull will need to be replaced. (Yanmar 2gm20fc fresh water cooled engine in port hull is in very good condition.)

The theoretical maximum speed that a displacement hull can move efficiently through the water is determined by it's waterline length and displacement. It may be unable to reach this speed if the boat is underpowered or heavily loaded, though it may exceed this speed given enough power. Read more.

Sail Area / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the power of the sails relative to the weight of the boat. The higher the number, the higher the performance, but the harder the boat will be to handle. This ratio is a "non-dimensional" value that facilitates comparisons between boats of different types and sizes. Read more.

SA/D = SA ÷ (D ÷ 64) 2/3

• SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
• D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

D/L = (D ÷ 2240) ÷ (0.01 x LWL)³

• D: Displacement of the boat in pounds.
• LWL: Waterline length in feet

Comfort Ratio

This ratio assess how quickly and abruptly a boat’s hull reacts to waves in a significant seaway, these being the elements of a boat’s motion most likely to cause seasickness. Read more.

The FLICA has full standing headroom on the bridgedeck, and the wide overall beam results in a spacious saloon with all round vision. The four separate cabins each have genuine double berths and offer maximum privacy.

Her proven design employs both traditional Prout innovations and modern construction techniques. The result is excellent performance, responsiveness under sail, spacious accommodations, tremendous load-carrying capacity and ease of handling. Evolved from Prout Snowgoose 35. With over 100 reported circumnavigations completed, you would be hard pressed to find another line with this track record.

The 2′ 10″ draft greatly increases the skipper’s anchoring options when storms approach, and makes her ideal for exploring the shallow waters found on the Gulf Coast, the Florida Keys, or the Bahamas. Her pedigree gives assurance she is able to deliver you safely to your destination whether near or far.

The interior is well executed with abundant storage and counter space. The liberal use of teak creates a warm and elegant atmosphere not seen on many modern day cats. There are two different possible layouts, so please see below for diagram and more details.

The cockpit is roomy yet secure, with excellent visibility from the helm. There is a substantial aft deck behind the cockpit which makes an ideal fishing platform or work area. The solid bridge deck forward offers a large work/lounge area along with additional storage.

The growth in suburban house prices in 2021 can be as high as 15%. This prognosis was voiced by the participants of Moscow’s real estate market. Housing near Moscow has already gone up in value by 7%, and before the end of the year, this number is quite likely to rise by another 2–3%. The pandemic has changed the trends on the suburban real estate market – the current demand for detached houses is noticeably higher than before the global outbreak of Covid-19, and this naturally influences the cost of residential homes, say the experts. They also note that traditionally, the fall-winter period has always been considered a time of low demand for houses for sale in Russia; however, the opposite is now the case.

Here are the Moscow real estate categories to consider when buying a house in Russia:

• By direction and location (Rublyovka, Novaya Riga, Barvikha);
• By classification ( luxury , business class, economy);
• By development format (townhouses, detached private homes).

When purchasing homes in Moscow, Russia, a good rule of thumb is to select houses within an 18.6-mile (30 km) radius from the center of Moscow. This ensures you will get a well-developed infrastructure, and that the chosen location will be replete with hospitals and schools.

We recommend considering the West, South and North directions just out of Moscow. You may notice that country houses are noticeably cheaper on the capital’s Eastern side.
